I ordered via skip. I am from northern Alberta where sushi is hard to do right; your potions sizes blew me away. What you send me would be $100 where I’m from. The pricing is bang for your buck, it tastes AMAZING and I’m def ordering again when work sends me back this way again. Thank you for the food!!
Great sushi! Very fresh and very well priced. The flavors were spot on. They have a great little location with a large menu. Quick to order and pick up. Very happy with everything.
Probably some of the best chicken I've ever had, all the flavours are great. I would recommend it to anyone. The price is higher than you might expect but it's well worth it. It's filling without making you feel bloated. Udons are also great! Going to try the fish and chips next. Staff are also very welcoming. I recommend jays sushi and tempura house to EVERYONE!
Delicious, friendly and timely! We got Korean Fried Chicken (Go Ma) and Extreme Poutine (I forgot to photograph it). It was ready on schedule for pickup and smelled tantalizing. The chicken was so tender with nice batter and its sauce was amazing - garlicky, peppery and just a teensy bit spicy. Poutine was drenched in beef gravy and came with lots of meat. Good choice of curds and I think the fries would probably be great on their own so I look forward to trying that (hopefully next time with their famous fish).
The salmon sashimi and the korean fried chicken was amazing! Absolutely delicious. Amazing staff as well!

Gone twice since moving to Kamloops and I love it. The bento boxes are delicious, well priced and the rolls are supreme. Would highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian rolls and bento boxes Parking: About 10 spots but it s shared between the restaurant, 7-11 and veterinarian office.

Just driving through, stopped for a late dinner. I had spicy beef bulgolgi and my wife had the maki combo. Everything was made fresh and tasted great! I liked mine more than my wife liked hers, but were both very satisfied! Thanks for a great meal!

There are rolls, sushi, fish and chips, and Korean style chicken. You cant eat in the store because of COVID-19. You can take out and skip the dish.
Ordered from this new restaurant for the first time and the food was good. We ordered some rolls and udon and loved the food. We will surely try again.
Everything is fresh and well made. We have enjoyed the sushi a couple of times but not tried other menu items. If you have allergies or require special dietary things phone because our notes didn t go through for online ordering on their website but we had no problem when we called.

Thumbs down on Jay s Sushi & tempura house. The ginger tasted moldy and the sushi definitely didn t have fresh fish. Like it had been sitting out all day. The salmon looked old. Definitely sticking to Oriental Garden. ordering some good ol Chinese now.

We ordered the party tray and everything was amazing.
Second time we ordered from Jays, first time trying their Korean Chicken (Yang Nyeom). I have no idea if its traditional or authentic but I can confirm its 100% delicious. The sauce was a unique sweet/spicy and the chicken was really tender...we loved it. Paired it up with a Chicken Yakiudon (also really, really good) and proceeded to destroy both dishes at home. Bonus points for being piping hot and for the super friendly staff when we picked up. It will be hard to not duplicate our order next time.

I am going to give it a honest review. The lady was super sweet when greeted. The smell was amazing and looked good. The sushi was tasty and fresh. The chicken was really good and you can tell they make it fresh. Definitely will come again but why I gave it a 4 stars because I find the chicken a little over priced. I would maybe lower it a few dollars so I can come back more often
Best food in the Sahali area. Amazing sushi, tempura fried chicken and poutine. You wont be disappointed
Ive been here on several occasions, their Korean fried chicken is exceptionally good. I recommend the soy and garlic, although the other options are tasty too. Very friendly service. Take out, skip the dishes, and a small dine in section. Highly recommended.

Weve ordered from here multiple times now and its always delicious. Definitely tried the Korean fried chicken. Their bibimbap is so good! Definitely recommend.
Ordered my usual through Skip the Dishes: Spicy Tuna Roll, Deep Fried California Roll and a salad, Kimchi in this case. Have to say quality was pretty good and portions were decent. Only criticism was the price was a little high for take-out. Same dishes are a buck or two cheaper (each) at their competitors.
I had the Tuna Salmon sushi Combo for a lunch take out that was ready right on time and it was so fresh and the fish was nice portions. SO Tasty! Will definitely order again.
Our first try of Jays fried chicken and were very impressed. My 3yr old took one taste, started giggling, then grabbed a second piece like he had something to guard. The chicken is all very moist and flavorful (brining!) and not greasy at all. The original is super crispy, and the yangeom was delicious too. A half portion will definitely feed 2 adults.
Definitely no where near a 4.7 star restaurant, its quite sad how starved for good sushi this area is. The fried chicken was honestly so bad, it was so tough if I wasnt starving when I sat down I would have refused it. After getting the chicken I was terrified what my sushi would be like, surprisingly much better, but still not great, I subbed real crab, and it was so dry and weird tasting I thought it was a really bad crab salad. The tuna belly nigiri was reasonably good, and I got a Philly roll but subbed fresh salmon which was also good, the rolls themselves and the rice was good. Prices cheap or would be 2 star.
Bit too much of a diverse menu, when going to a sushi restaurant. Mediocre flavor, and questionable product.

Their fried chicken is very good. Very crispy and juicy. My favorite flavor is go-ma(pepper garlic) and yangnyeum(sweet and spicy). Also, their fish and chips another jewel in their menu, it is the best in town.

I aways order chicken teriyaki rolls when I eat here, but their beef teriyaki rolls tastes awesome as well! The place is tiny but the food is good
