Decided to drop in on a whim. Crazy horse saloon. Walked in and asked if I could go for a drink at the bar; at the door there were hostesses and a manager I think. All were friendly and courteous. They pointed me to the bar and told me to enjoy. I sat on the tall stool chair and looked around. Very saloon like feeling. I like this place. Bar tender offered me Wicked easy pale ale by Samuel Adams. Tasty nice hint of citrus and felt nice going down. I wasn’t hungry at all just in for a drink but the friendly welcoming bar tender suggested the 1/2 price Tacos. The choices were chicken or haddock. I love fish so I thought why not; try the tacos. Now I have tried tacos all over North America but let me tell you. Man these tacos were delicious. Light, fresh, tasty, fragrant and just perfect, Are they always like this or was this a lucky night for the chef. The perfect most satisfying light bite that I could remember. I am glad I ordered the fish Tacos, everyone should try these simple yet super delicious satisfying tacos. So I had to order a dessert and it was the pretzel brownie. Came topped with a delicious fresh scoop of vanilla ice cream and a line of chocolate sauce. Then the bill came. 30 dollars - wow That was so cheap compared to the pleasure I was gifted this evening. The most amazing tacos, the most friendly and welcoming staff all around and, the atmosphere; I felt like I was at a real saloon. Love this.. Everyone should try this place and I hope you will be as lucky as I was this evening.
Was an awesome experience! Our server Jacob was super friendly and attentive. One of us loved our food and one of us didn't (which is why a 4). The food wasn't bad, just not good compared to other options with similar price points (Prime Rib). Atmosphere is awesome! Lively and loud! We will definitely be back!
Great choice for a great steak in a well done western atmosphere! Ordered the boneles ribeye and it was was grilled to perfection - the temp could not be any more spot on, the flavour was outstanding. Sides were mushrooms & onions and the loaded baked potato. Both were done well and complimented the cut nicely. Started with the house green salad with the house balsamic vinegerette. The salad was a generous medly of refreshing greens and vegetables, and vinegerette was smooth and balanced. If you like Margaritas, ask for a Jalapeno Double with Espolon - set the tone of the meal right from the start. The entire experience was good and I'll certainly be back for another great steak!!!
The Cajun chicken sandwich is definitely worth trying! The burger was a bit too salty for my liking though.

Checked out Crazy Horse in Kanata, and was disappointed. The servers were nice and the restaurant theme is neat. They had an area for a band (which we didn't get to see). The food wasnt great at all. The poutine was cold and didn't taste good at all, the nachos (which I was super excited about as it's skillet nachos) were dried out and not great either & & my husband said the steak and his baked potatoes was incredibly disappointing - he recommended skipping this spot and going to Chops if you are craving a steak instead. The best thing that we had was the onion rings. For us, it wasn't worth it.
Have you ever heard of a PB&J Burger? Yeah... Try it! UPDATE!!! I drove from Montreal to Crazy Horse and it was amazing! I went for my wedding anniversary and the food was phenomenal, Autumn's service was really helpful and we left there super stuffed! We couldn't do dessert but the next time I go - I am going (try) to pace myself. Awesome place, you need to eat here!
Very pleasantly surprised with the quality and variety of food choices! My first time in this restaurant with 5 other friends to celebrate the start of the holiday season and a birthday. First of all, I had no issue making a somewhat last minute reservation at lunch time, the online reservation system was very easy to use, and 2 reminders were sent prior to the dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fun and inviting, without extremely loud music but just enough to mute the conversation noises. Large bar, a small live music area and some booths with comfortable seats. What really surprised me was the quality of food, for a bar it was very decent, good portion, lot of varieties and a good selection of draft and local beers. Price was pretty decent too, with 6 of us final bill before taxes and tips came to about $30 pp. The staff was very friendly, offered excellent suggestions and helped us to prepare and deliver our birthday cake, even took a few group photos for us! Definitely recommend!

Be warned - you only have 2hours to enjoy your meal and whatever company you might have while dining at this establishment. You wont be informed until you arrive.. if i knew that was the case i would not have requested my birthday party at this place and saved my friends hard earned money. The whole dinner felt incredibly rushed. And when it came down to getting my birthday cake, which was supposed to be a happy moment with friends and family, we felt ushered to leave the booth. Definitely making a group of 7 people feel wildly uncomfortable. They did try to offer us new seating but there was no point in staying beyond all that happend; we were going to spend lot of money that evening but we chose ultimately to take our business else where. Its too bad because the food was amazing, but anyone who knows the food industry knows that front of house has the power to make or break service. And that was just the case here... Food was immaculate, service and communication is just horrid.

Very unprofessional about their 2 hour limits for reservation dining, they told us when we got to the restaurant which is super unprofessional and as a city inspector I did not like my experience due to those things should have been provided well before while making the reservation, the evening felt super rushed and when they brought the cake out to the table it was very rushed after telling us we had to leave after the fact which again very unprofessional
I always have a great time at the Crazy Horse. We go for the evening entertainment and its a wonderful atmosphere! Everyone is there to have a good time and we do! Would highly recommend!

The food is surprisingly good! The burgers and wings are significantly better than most offerings compared to many other places in the city.
Its a very cool looking place. Bathrooms are large and clean. Staff was very friendly. Unfortunate that food wasnt great especially when the server indicated it was their special for the night - Prime Rib. Its one of my favourite meals to order at certain restaurants, but never again here. The Au jus sauce was really gravy. The horseradish was really mayo. The side veggies were over cooked and on the soggy side. And finally, how does one serve Prime Rib without Yorkshire pudding?? :(
Great food , had sone fun with the bull ride. But my Friend didnt finish her glass of Beer But the cleaner took her glass . She drink her Beer until the last drop even if There is a Little left she love to finish IT. Food : 5/5

If youre going out for food and only food do not go too late because it turns into a bar and turns a bit loud. Out if youre going out for a night out and you like country music and you love good food then this could be a good spot.

My wife and I have been here twice now , and we loved everything about it . It Just might be our new favorite.
I ordered the sirloin, med-rare with mashed potatoes and veggies. There were lots of choices for the sides. My wife got the salmon, medium, and our 11-yo skipped the kids menu and got the chicken caesar. Both the salmon and steak were cooked to exactly the right temperature. The veggies that came with the steak were a nice mix of colors and kinds. Also the kid liked her salad. I think the menu is just the right size, small enough that the line cooks can learn how to make everything properly but still have enough choices. The ambiance was western with country music playing, which I dont mind. It wasnt loud or annoying or anything. Overall Ill definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who cares.

I think security needs to learn how to be patient and more kind and understanding towards people. They are probably the most unkind people I ve ever met. I was treated absolutely terrible tonight for no reason, and it has permanently affected my feelings towards this place and because of how I was treated, I don t think I can ever return.

The service and food were very good. My husband had the sirloin on the stone. He loved it, said it was excellent. I had the prime rib, It was good, I was expecting fire grilled, it was done in the oven and then put on the grill to get the marks. Doesnt taste the same when they do that. The atmosphere is dark and loud.

Go to venue for top tier live bands in the west end of Ottawa. Food is excellent. Service was friendly. Gin and tonics were a little watered down. Shout out to Lexi for going above and beyond!
This is a fun, themed restaurant with a strong country vibe. The food never disappoints and we love the onion petals. Its a relaxed, casual restaurant and a fun spot for a date night or outing with friends.
Walked in on a Wednesday night, they didn t tell us that the kitchen was closing charged 4 of us the Wednesday night fee sat around for 20 min, we then decided to leave and politely asked for a refund as they just saw us, they asked what for ? Then said we weren t getting our money back

Charged $12 cover on a Wednesday night under the allusion of a mechanical bull that was non existent. Then what is the other reasonable option food? But the kitchen was closed!! So what are we paying for?? There was no notice that that mechanical bull would not be out tonight either. Disappointing!!
This place promised food and a mechanical bull how thrilling, right? Well, joke s on you because neither of those things actually exist here. But don t worry, they ll gladly take your $12 cover fee, which I guess was just the price for walking into a glorified water fountain. If you re into paying to be let down, then this place might just be your new favourite spot!

Surf and turf appetizer was a disappointment. Served on a a very hot stone to cook for yourself but the stone cools quickly and so you need to cook the turf immediately. Best part of the evening was the Key Lime pie - homemade!

First time at crazy horse. Everything was great. Brisket burger was delicious. Wife had the ribs and was equally impressed. Said the corn bread was the best shes had and weve been to BBQ joints in Kansas City!!!
We had lunch here this afternoon and while I admit I was still skeptical despite the 5 star reviews, our meal was delicious! Ordered full rack of ribs with mac and cheese- both tasted great. Service was a bit slow at entrance but servers checked on us regularly once we had been seated. We ll certainly be back!

The bartenders were awesome, friendly staff all around. We just took one step out of the door before realizing that we did not use the washroom, so we made a u-turn and the door man said we cannot step back in. The Uber driver was ~15 mins away, and we kindly asked the door man to be considerate and at least let my wife back in. Avoiding eye contact, he rejected it in somewhat hostile & nervous demeanor, citing the legality of allowing someone back in. I talked to another wearing a Harley black t-shirt, and was unnecessarily rude.
Waitress was awesome! Steak though was hard to chew for the cut of meat I ordered and price, I thought it wouldve been way better!!!!! Very pricy

I had a very pleasant experience. Observing the details of the architecture and the meal. The architecture, log post and beams, and danglings chandeliers reminded me of my first home. The rustic detail of the retrofitted coal oil lanterns and chicken heatlamps scream nothing but the Stix. The squared 6x6 beam booths with cedar shake shingles reminded me of my second home entranceway. The steer skulls throughout perfect. The steel rimmed wooden wagon wheels on point. What appears to be hand hewn mantles above the bar Food wise: the strip loin perfect, buttemilk mash and veg, pea micro greens. You know that feeling where you always go to a restaurant and you can cook better. Not here. It was great. Hats off.

I wish Crazy Horse would stick to its theme, it promises and markets a country venue, however continues to play/mix music of genre outside of this reach. It s extremely disappointing for visitors whom are expecting a certain environment and are met with the entire opposite. Please don t claim to be a country bar if you re not going to play country music, thanks!
Went on a Wednesday night after 9, staff were beyond lovely, and drinks were fairly priced, but the crowd.... plenty of young kids from the suburbs playing dress up with party city cowboy hats... but Id say this establishment is committed to the theme, and with excellent food and a great atmosphere, this place is worthwhile on occasional nights.
Had the Philly, and it was the best Ive had in some time! Should come with a side of mayo if the powers that be are listening. Had previously had the baked mac and cheese from here, which was also amazing. We also got the ribs, which were delicious as usual. We are never disappointed with the food at this place. At times, if you get the wrong server, you suffer, but most of them are great! We will be back again as this is one of our favourite restaurants in the area.

Great place, There was lots of food options- not lots of vegan, vegetarian, or dairy free options. However our waitress was VERY kind and VERY willing to figure out adjust our dishes to an allergy and suggested dishes that were safer for said allergy. The service was amazing! Our food was out quick and the waitress was very willing to take pictures and engaged well with us. The food was delish and after when the dance floor opened it was great music and energy!
Attempted to charge my friend 18$ for a 9 dollar drink. I looked down and notice and called the bar tender out on it. She replace the price saying I read it wrong if I read it wrong why are you typing it in again? Then proceeded to have security manager state we were kicked out because the bartender was uncomfortable I asked for what purpose- no answer because you can t kick out a friend group for one person getting cut off. Also you can t kick people out for getting kicked out as per the smart serve regulations. I m typing this at 153 am after a 1 hour conversation with security and the managers .

I went with a table of 5 from out of town....the food was absolutely delicious....everyone enjoyed every bite of their meal... cant say enough about how great the atmosphere was...the service was excellent...I may travel the 8 hours every year just to have the prime rib!...

Service was excellent. Food was decent, but Id expect a bit more from it at this price point. Had the opportunity to try several things: the burger is good. The fries are okay, portion is small and theyre thin and crunchy. Prime rib is very average and nothing special. Not a fan of the salmon, but can see how others might enjoy it. Would return again for the overall experience, not a specific menu item.

The Crazy Horse has been around forever, and theres a reason for that. They have great food, drink selection, and such a unique country vibe. Back to the service. I cant say enough about how friendly and knowledgeable they are. You cant help but have a great time here.
Forget everything I ever said about the keg THIS! This *right here* is how you serve a steak!!! Quality cuts - Cooked to perfection. And those sides? I m drooling just thinking about them. The buttermilk mash the beans the mushrooms you just can t go wrong, no matter which side you choose. The only thing that outdoes this meal better is the top notch service! From the back of the house to the front ... The Crazy Horse Stonegrill is this girl s NEW favourite steak house! (Sorry - we d take better photos but were just too excited to dig in!)
I took my family here for dinner (4 adults and 3 kids), including two adults being from out of town. The atmosphere when you walked in was eye catching and they played great music, very nostalgic. The food was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend the food of this restaurant over a franchise like Kelseys or Montanas (thats what the menu kind of reminds me of). Service was great, very attentive and made great recommendations! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and had a great activity that kept the kids occupied and engaged while waiting for food. Best restaurant to do this so far from our experience.
As someone who was in the service/restaurant industry for 10+ years. I love this place, I find the staff extremely friendly, the food is great, live music is always entertaining. Great for a dinner date night out dancing with the girls.

If your going to this place with your kids or family gathering, Go somewhere else. The food was mediocre. I was not impressed.
We were disappointed when Jack astors was full, so we ended up at crazy horse. The food was amazing! Spinach dip had sophistication with a perfect flavour profile and the crusty cowboy burger had a blend of textures and flavours that hit the spot. Now if given the choice, I prefer crazy horse over jack Astors.
Came here on 3-15-24 for dinner and drinks. Sat at the bar had Pete as our bartender/waiter. He was absolutely amazing, friendly and very informative. Not from here but he recommended some local beers on draft and they were amazing. For dinner I had the 10pz sirloin on the stone with mixed veggies and mashed potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious. I will return.

The food is amazing. Some personal favourites include The BBQ Pork flat bread, Nachos, Philly cheese steak sandwich, and the New York striploin. The service is amazing as is the atmosphere.
Good place te dance. Bartenders were very attentive and I always got my drinks quickly. Bouncer had a bad attitude but i understand, he probably has to deal with allot.

The hostess was wonderful, a beautiful curly haired redhead with just the KINDEST soul. The food was absolutely delicious, exquisite, and lovely. Tender and flavorful steaks, they have good Canadian beer on draft too! Im 100% returning whenever Im back in Canada! Vegetarian options: Delicious fresh house balsamic salad! 100% recommend. Server, Ben, was excellent . Food quick, hot, well prepared & great serving sizes . 4 stars for dark lighting & overly loud/bass music. Also unfortunate we were there at dinner during Bell Cup so many loud boisterous unbridled youngsters roaming between tables.

The restaurant was noisy and dark. When the loud patrons left, the music was to loud. Food was mediocre without any distinctive flavor. 3 different hamburgers were ordered and arrived looking the same.
Got the fire stone tenderloin and it was absolutely amazing- one of the better pieces of meat I ve had in a long time! Caeser was good and mashed potato s are mediocre. Chimichurri was also mediocre. Service was a 10/10 :) Would definitely come back

Food was out fast. The dinner service was perfect. We did a reservation for 10 we had a corner booth close the the dance floor. We had an amazing service I would Salute her here but forgot her name. It got a bit loud around 12 but thats normal it is a steakhouse with live event and a live dj. If you love the country feeling this Is a place to hit for sure.
I ordered my food (only chicken wings) and it took 45 minutes to get to my table although the guy was great the food took a while.. but still a nice place to hang at
The amount of meat in the Philly sandwich was ridiculously small considering the price tag, or any price tag for that matter. Lots of mix-ups on the bills but friendly service. And it took about 15 minutes to find available parking. I will avoid in future. Parking: Manque de places de stationnement malgré que le restaurant nétait même pas plein.
