This is a great place to grab a beer at lunch. The food is ok, although Ive only ever had the club sandwich or the tacos. The food is better than the oak. The real reason to come here is the beer and the patio in the summer. edit: I tried the pizza and its quite good. Ive bumped the food to 4 stars because of it.

I highly recommend this hidden gem located in the Kanata Business Park. I hosted a birthday party here for my husband s 60th birthday and it was the perfect spot. Alyssa, their event coordinator, was helpful every step of the way and looked after all the details the night of the party so I could just enjoy. They have live music on Friday nights, a great patio, and the wood burning pizzas are delicious. Thanks to everyone at Calabogie Brewing s Kanata location for making this event memorable.

We live in the area and stop in from time to time and have always had a great experience. Last night we held our wedding and ceremony at the venue and everything was great. Staff are super helpful and friendly; and everyone loved all the food. Absolutely recommend!

Great little brew pub in the industrial park in North Kanata. A big hit with the hi tech crowd in the area. Outstanding service and a nice selection of tasty beverages. Live entertainment during peak hours.

I don t even like beer but I like you guys. I grew up ski racing and I skid at calabogie often so you can believe the Calabogie Brewing Co. was a big name with the ski parents. I ve had sips of beers now and again but I m not here for beer critique, though everyone I ve heard of enjoying beer enjoys Calabogie beers. I m here for the people, the culture I guess. You guys are cool, and doing a great job. keep it up. Edit; don t want this to come off odd, please note I m not great with words.

Love some of their beers. But customer service is horrendous when trying to get hold of someone to try and order kegs. Never reply to their emails, when they say email to find out availability.

I love lunching at Calabogie! Food is always great, as is the service. Sad that my favourite sandwich is no longer on the menu, but the jerk chicken wrap was delicious! The blood orange ale was really refreshing. Looking forward to warmer weather and afternoons on their patio.

Terrific selection of food choices for lunch. Not a beer drinker but my lunch mates spoke highly of their beer choices.

Great little brew pub, with excellent beer on tap and a fun friendly atmosphere. When the weather cooperates, the patio is lovely. As much as I enjoy the tasty food and beer menu, what makes this place special is the staff. The owner and his staff are great fun, always welcoming and very attentive.

This is a great alternative to the chain restaurants that are all over Kanata. The entrance is a little strange as you have to go down a long hallway past other businesses to get to the taproom. The beer and food is reasonably priced, service is on point, generally not busy, and the decor/atmosphere is well done.

This is a hidden gem in Kanata. They make the best pizza in town. Also, they have a large beer selection. Some evenings they have live music.

Pizzas are to die for!

We recently dined here with my son s hockey team during a tournament. The staff were amazing. They were helpful, friendly and got us in and out in time for the next game. The beer was great and the food was fantastic. Everyone loved the pizzas, sandwiches, tacos and cauliflower wings. We will definitely be back when next in the area. Dietary restrictions: They were very helpful in ensuring a guest who is celiac had a great meal.

Ordered a flat of beer and it was delivered the next day! Amazingly fast delivery especially considering the distance. And the beer tastes great too

The beer is amazing but the people that work at Calabogie are just as awesome. Such a pleasure to team up with Kris and Paddy over at Calabogie. They do wonderful work, great events, and again - amazing beer.

Food was excellent! I dont go out often because home-cooked is almost always better. The food here was fresh, quality ingredients, and the not over-the-top salty or greesy, it is still bar food and pizza though ;). Of course the beer is also excellent. They lost star on the food from me as my partner ordered the sangria, which was in affect fruit punch. A bit surprised given the refined quality of everything else and the kind of drink I would expect at a chain restaurant. The service great and with a smile. Not overwhelming but always around and easy to wave down if something was needed between check-ins. The service didnt wow me like some places have, but still willing to give 5 stars as it is the best service I have received at a brew pub and had zero complaints on that front. We hear dogs are aloud on the patio so we will be back to try out the patio in the summer. If you want to try a Brew Pub with better than average food, check this place out, Im sure it wont disappoint.

An unassuming local brewery that hosts a bare bones bar in its lobby that serves ridiculously great pizza and some wonderful local beers. Its hidden inside a small brown building that hosts IT companies in Kanata. If you can find the place, you will typically be greeted by local IT professionals hanging out after work. The bartenders and serving staff are friendly, and genuine. Do yourself a favor.. try the wood fired pizza. Experiment. The flavors are surprisingly amazing. The coliflower wings were a bit chewy.. Id much prefer them fried.

Great patio. Make sure to try their pretzels - the cheese sauce they serve with them is outstanding.

Everything is good...except for the Fire Roasted Cauliflower Wings... Its basically heated cauliflower with Franks Red Hot sauce. Cauliflower Wings should be dusted/breaded, seasoned, then fried crispy...no?

It is a fantastic atmosphere and great beer. I was not a fan of their prices for food or the chips that came with most of the food. Service was hit or missed but overall adequate. Based on what I saw the Pizza looks superb.

An all 5 star for Ambience, some entertainment, beer flavours and entrees. The Pizzas are signature, getting one to return to the place often. Vegetarian options: Good choice of starters and even tailoring the dish to your needs.

The patio that was setup was great. I love their beer, but having it on tap made it even better. We had some food and brought the kids this time. Still great. Kid-friendliness: They had lots of options for kids. The servers were also great with the kids as well. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or ramps. Nice and flat.

First time visiting even though I ve had it on my list for a few years. Decent variety of both beer and food. Fun surprise was the unique flavours of sangria. We didn t sample much but what we did try we thought was very enjoyable. We tried the K-pop, apple berry sangria and a flight of 2 ambers and 2 IPAs. The only negative for me was the seating. Too small, not comfortable at all, & too many bar height tables for my liking (I find them annoying as they are more restrictive). Not sure if they want/expect a young crowd and/or maybe they want us old folks gone quickly! ;) Overall, good stop for suds and sustenance.

Love the beer. Service is lacking. There were about a million wasps on the patio while we were there and about zero efforts to deter them. I get it .. I get them in my backyard too. But I put up as many wasp traps as it takes to not endanger my guests, and theyre not even paying me. Take notes. We were also there with 3 toddlers and only discovered they have crayons n paper after stumbling across them on the way to the bathroom. Maybe the waiter was saving them for his kids at home .. who knows.

So will say before I get into it, work paid for this meal and there were 25 or so of us. Rest of the restaurant was lightly filled. Ordered the beef dipper with a Caesar salad. Received the beef dipper and potatoes. I said I ordered Caesar, they said nope you ordered potatoes. Alright. It took an hour to receive so I wasnt about to send it back. Is this a $19.95 sandwich? No. Not even close. The meat was dry, there wasnt a lot and they forgot to include the dipping sauce. It was more bread than meat. Do I recommend? No. This was an overpriced sandwich.

Nice taproom, open with kitchen for Sunday lunch. Serves wine as well as their beer on tap. A bit weird to find initially since its on the back side of a small commercial strip mall in an industrial park, tho there is signage. Theres a patio overlooking some green space that looks like it would be very pleasant in warm weather.

Quick lunch, good beer. Tacos were good, smoked meat sandwich was also good.

Wasnt very impressed with any of the four beers in the flight that I tried. Also had the German style pretzel and it was so salty it was almost inedible. The service was good though.

Off the path greatness. This hidden gem of a brewery had great drinks and even better pizza.

The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. It doesnt look like much from the outside, positioned in an industrial area. But the inside and back patio is very charming. Dogs are allowed in the outside patio, you need to walk around the building to have access on the patio with your dog. The food on the other hand was so-so. We had the sweet potato salad and pull pork sandwich, both was ok but nothing special. Service was top-notch.

We held our wedding reception at Calabogie Brewing Company - Kanata on May 28/22 and had an amazing experience! Pat and his staff were fantastic to work with - helpful, accommodating, and so friendly! The food and beer were delicious and we received a lot of wonderful feedback from our guests. Everything was exactly what we had hoped for and more - the beautiful patio was a huge bonus! Highly recommend this location for any special event and of course, for just a regular evening out too! Finally tried this place and was happy that I did! Awesome beer, my food was tasty and plentiful (a nice change these days), service was fast and courteous, and they had live music that day! Environment was.... ahh, who cares, they have GREAT BEER!! :) Go, you wont be disappointed!

Im from out of town and came to buy a few beers. The restaurant was empty at 3pm and the waitresses didnt seem to want to be bothered to explain which beers were which. Didnt feel welcomed and wont bother to come again.

The food is delicious, the beer is cold and tasty, and the service is friendly and quick!

The location is a little weird, but its a great place. The pretzel is fantastic and is my go to. Its soft and the beer cheese dip is delicious. The pizza is solid as well. Theyve got a great selection of beer and their patio is quite nice even though its in a industrial area.

The Brown Cow is soo yummy! Always my go to, also had The Black Donald and their Grand fromage pizza is amazing. They have a nice patio. Update: they do not have the grand fromage pizza anymore, but still worth trying their pizzas. Again, the draught brown cow is amazing and I enjoyed the patio for probably one of the last time this year (november)

No surprise that the beer is good, but the food was a nice surprise - pizza was excellent. The patio is under some tall trees which gives it a nice atmosphere despite being in more or less an industrial park.

Been here for lunch a few times when I was working in the area, the wraps and pizza are pretty good the homemade tortilla chips are a nice addition as well. Pleasant atmosphere and good beer, favourite beer is the Bleep Bloop IPA and Horizon NEIPA and the Vally PA. ordered online 10+ times and no issues so far!

Great brewery tap room. A little awkward to get to as it is in a small industrial building with parking around back. The selection of beers was good, nachos were on point and, while we didnt order one, the pizzas looked amazing! The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was pretty chill. There was a large party while we were there so it was somewhat loud but we could still carry a conversation. The reason I gave it four stars is that the kitchen ran out of food and had to close early (before 7pm). They did have a large 20+ person party and its a small kitchen so hopefully just a one off but something to consider. Overall I would definitely go back. Good place to meet a few friends or take a casual date. Parking: Lots of parking but it is shared amongst various business in the building so depending on the day availability may vary.
