Excellent service, neat and tidy, above and beyond..

My kids loved the delicious crepes and hot chocolate. My husband and I tasted the lovely cappuccino. Highly recommended.

Luna Crepes and Cafe is a great spot for lunch, especially if you re looking for something light and healthy. The food is delicious, with portion sizes that feel just right. The fact that they offer halal options is a big plus! The staff are nice and welcoming, and since it s close to my office, it s a super convenient choice for a quick, satisfying lunch. Very welcoming, great Halal Breakfast in Kanata North.

I know the food is good here and they cater to gluten free as well. On Saturday we were in the area and saw the sign Serving Breakfast and Lunch all day It was 3:00 p.m and they close at 4:00. We were looking forward to a crepe. When we got to the counter they told us we couldnt order crepes because they were closing soon. An hour seems a bit much as a cut off time to order a crepe. Especially with most restaurants saying they are struggling these days... They only at that time sell what is on the counter which we could not have because of being gluten free. Super disappointing. Im quite sure I would of given them a 5 star for the food.

This was our first time in this coffee shop and we are very satisfied! The food was amazing and fresh and the staff were exceptional very helpful and patient and understanding and VERY welcoming. The place was cozy and very clean. I totally recommend it and will definitely be back again. THANK YOU!

I love it here! Everyone is lovely and the food is fantastic and well priced.

It was horrible there was a few people ordering and when it was our turn we waited for 5 minutes and they had yet to take our order ( it s was still 3:20 and the shop closes at 4 but they gave an attitude that seems like they weren t willing to serve ) We asked once and they kind of just ignored us Then we increased our voice and asked if we can order but they just keep talking in their own language and let us stood there. Which was kind of rude and we left without getting and food because they didn t want to take our order

My family and I are repeat customers here. One of the employees always makes a point to greet my family and always remembers us. The food is pricey, but the serving sizes are generous and made from scratch so youre paying for quality. One wrap and soup can feed both my husband and I. My daughter says this is her favourite place to eat on the West end.

We have been to this place very often, the food is delicious and the interior design is beautiful and cozy. However, I wouldnt go here with a toddler, there are some loose decorations everywhere which are a big no no for the kids to event touch ( why would it be there next to a table and within child reach if they dont like to be touched I dont understand) or there is an open fridge with the beverages which the owner will not be happy if toddler touches them and you have to pay before touching!!, she would just warn you right away which makes me so uncomfortable. A family is running the place which is very nice but I wish it was a family friendly place too.

Nice place, friendly staff. Ordered 4 crepes 3 were great the 4th was really burnt and was still served, it was clearly visible but still went out. Just that lack of care on an order spoils a tables enjoyment. Crepe batter is super cheap just fire up a another one.

What a perfect Saturday breakfast stop. Both my friend and I enjoyed our breakfasts and I loved the coffee refill. Friendly quick service, unrushed. They have Gluten Free options for everything except the waffles. BUT they dont have that anywhere on the menu, their website or in the cafe. So you have to remember to ask. I got an omelette and forgot to ask for GF toast. They happily replaced it with GF.

We experienced incredibly friendly service, welcoming atmosphere and the food was soooo good. I ordered a gluten free crêpe and they cleaned the grill well before they cooked it, which I really appreciated. Im planning on going back again soon to try something else on the menu!

This is one of the top places for me and my wife. When we have the chance, we like to go there for brunch and enjoy the patio. Our family loves going here for a treat with our 3 year old. We also love having a brunch date here when we can get a sitter. The food is real ingredients, lots of veg and fruit, super delicious and filling. They can make accommodations to allergies/intolerances. Super clean and inviting atmosphere. We really love the patio. BEST matcha latte I have ever had. This is our fav brunch spot hands down.

This beautiful cafe have the best food with a service 5 stars for sure. They make breakfast for us during approximatly 2 month (large group of 30 person) Every morning it was ready on time and delicious. The owner is amazing and I recommand the restaurant for everyone.

Wish I had discovered this earlier. Fantastic food, ambience and service! Had the breakfast panini with the roast beef - it was delicious!, the banana Nutella almond crepe was also super good, so was the cookies n cream crepe. The Swiss cheese and mushroom omelette was also really good! Overall, a new fan of this place!

LUNA Crepes & CAFE is run by a fabulous family - all of whom are hardworking, kind, and experts at their craft. They took over the business four and a half years ago from struggling owners, and have been a smash hit with locals and critics alike. What an amazing place to eat. Coffee is wonderful but above all else is their customer service. A person cut in front of me when I was in line to order coffee, and instead of going to her first, she came right to me for my order. That was huge to me because it also prevented any possible issues because I was ready to speak up if she went to the lady that cut in line. That is top notch customer service and that is how you run a business. You have a customer for life now!

I tried Luna cade for the first time this morning, and had a great experience. I am gluten-free so breakfast options at crepe / waffle type places are usually very limited. Luna has a gluten-free crepe as well as gluten-free toast for their egg meals. The crepe was delicious, it did not taste GF. We were looking for a light lunch and happened upon this surprisingly great option. Delicious soup, crepes, and paninis served with a choice of hot or cold beverages. Hard working staff (family?) All very intent on delivering the best possible service. Only one negative; the ventilation/heating system was cranked up, probably for the staff working behind the counter in the heat, but as it also controlled the dining area climate, we were right in the path a cool, strong and constant breeze. Other than that, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this establishment.

This place is pure gold. I have been coming back ever since I moved here ans everything about this place is the cafe of dreams. The staff are caring and kind. The food is affordable and delicious. And the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you have the chance to visit, please do, it has become my favorite part of the week.

We are there for Sunday afternoon, part of our chill out day. We ordered an Americano, Turkish coffee, chai latte, Spanish cheese cake and tiramisu. Its a great place to hangout and the staff are super friendly. Bonus: clean bathroom. Back again for lunch. We ordered lunch special with chicken panini, crêpe, and waffle. I had lunch special and I give 10/10. The salad was fresh, and the chicken Panini was great. Waffle 9/10, crêpe 9/10. Overall, a great place for lunch as well.

Amazing food and spacious modern interior. Will definitely return! The chicken avocado italiano panini I had was very balanced and well put together, the right amount of moist chicken, avocado slices, marble cheese, dressed onions. It was held together by a soft panini roll that was light and toasted just right to be crispy on the outside, not overly dense like many paninis tend to be. The panini was somewhat smaller than expected though. It came with an accompanying high quality salad of fresh mixed greens and flavourful vinaigrette. The dessert crepe was awesome as well, soft and balanced, not overly sweet, and was quite large in portion size and filled with plenty of strawberry and banana slices. The latte also tasted great, and had a decent latte art heart poured over it.

Very nice and homey café. That is fun and enjoyable to go to. We were there with a group of friends and we each had different things to eat. Food was pretty good and coffee was great. The only downside is that they do not have regular decaffeinated. Coffee only decaffeinated specialty coffee. We were there on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. They do not take reservations. However, thoroughly enjoyed having such a nice spot in the West End.

First time to try this place for a weekend lunch. Cosy ambience. The cafe has 2 big tables (for 6-7 persons) and other tables can sit 2 or 4 persons. We arrived there at 11:30 am and can find a table to accomodate 7 of us. The menu is posted on the wall (behind the cashier and display glass), or you can find the menu online. Once we decided on the items to order, just went to the cashier to order and pay, and then waited for the food to be brought to our table. We ordered: - Cajan chicken in a crepe (served with caesar salad) - Chicken Avocado Italiano in a crepe (served with caesar salad) - Berry Crepe - Breakfast Panini - French Toast We are happy with our food.

The only good thing about the place is its outdoor patio. The food is mediocre at best. We ordered berry crepes, ice cream and coffee. Walmarts cheapest ice cream tastes better than what they serve. But okay, its not an ice cream shop. The coffee is average. But OK, its not a coffee shop. But the crepes they serve are neither French-style crepes nor Russian-style blinis. The thickness is similar to that of a thin shoe sole. The crepes should be either parchment paper thin (French style) or thick but fluffy and spongy like Russian-style blini. However, what this place served was... well, lets just say: you try it and you dont want another bite. The calories they contain are not worth it.

Found it is a self-service restaurant, food is great but nobody solicits you to the seat at entry, and we had to order and pay like in McDonald or Tim s. This surprised me, so we didn t pay tips .

Place is a hidden Gem !! Looks to be family run in a strip mall off the beaten path in Kanata . We stumbled upon it and wow did we hit it lucky ! This place is outstanding!! Everyone from the front counter service to the table delivery was extremely polite , considerate and the place is spotless . When you walk in to this unassuming cafe , you are immediately excited as they have amble seating with a cosy outdoor patio , bright and airy . Not knowing what to do , we waited to be seated for a moment only to realize that you walk up to the counter at the other end and place your order and they will had you a number and just find a seat anywhere. The selection of homemade food from Waffles , omelettes, wraps etc was amazing ! We went in for breakfast and had the vegetarian omelette and my wife had the avocado feta omelette after it was suggested by the counter personnel (who was super friendly and knowledgeable) . I had a double espresso long which was one of the best I d had in years ( and I travel a lot ) and my wife had an awesome cappuccino! Can t recommend this place strongly enough and was told we came in at the right time ( around 1 pm ) as they were lined up to the door all morning. You watch them cook your food as you wait if you like .. and it s abundantly clear that it s all quality right from the start !! It did not disappoint . Just love it and can t wait to return . Nice place to get together for coffee, they also serve breakfast and lunch. Used to go there a few years ago, when it was managed by a different owner I believe. Tried the chicken sandwich and it was okay in terms of taste and flavor, with a side of Ceasar salad which was also modest (expected a larger portion for a $15 plate - completely forgot to take a pic here). The cappuccino was good and so was the service, very pleasant staff.

I am providing this review based on what others have said and dont want to spoil the review just because of what I experienced. Im sure the food must be good as per others reviews. I visited there for breakfast with my family of 4 and grabbed a table and stayed there for about 4-5 minutes. I went to the counter to place an order and there were 5 facility members standing and no one bothered to at least make an eye contact or ask if I need any help. It was my first of experience there and if I compare with Tim or Mcdonalds, they treat the customers in a better way than what I experienced there. I had to walk out and go to the other place unfortunately. Ill let the owner correct me if I am wrong but not sure if the staff members dont make an eye contact for about 2 mins or so or dont come to the billing counter to accept an order by looking at a customer wandering around, what kind of service should I assume it is? Or I am mistaken and give it another try. And yes, they were not busy at all.

I really enjoyed this place! I like the atmosphere, it is very calm, the table seating can be weird. But otherwise it is great. My wife and I had the mixed berry Crepe, the Nutella strawberry banana waffle, and the breakfast panini. Everything we got was divine! The frisky was all fresh and the whipped cream was light and sweet! Highly recommended this place if you enjoy a sweet or salty breakfast!

I learned about Luna a few weeks ago through a gluten free site, stating they have gluten free options. My partner and I have been back three times since. Not only for the phenomenal food but the outstanding, genuine hospitality. We have had the pleasure of seeing Chenab every time we ve been in and she always makes us feel like friends in her home. She has recommended many dishes to us that are always incredible and takes great care with our (multitude of) allergies! Not to mention the fact that they have by far the best gluten free crepe that I have ever eaten! One thing to note is that I don t believe it is Celiac safe unfortunately. I think they use the same cooking surface/utensils. Luna gets a 20/10 from me!

I was advised to try this place by a friend. You can tell from the first step in that its a family operated business which is one of the business formats that I support. The place was clean, the food tastes great but it took a while to arrive. The staff are friendly. I liked the croissant waffle sandwich with spinach, chicken and mushrooms.

Love the owners. Food is great, freshly made. Their soups are to die for. Its like coming home.

This is seriously the best sandwich in all of Ottawa. I have eaten this a total of 4 times, either with the craffle (croissant-waffle) or the regular bread and it NEVER disappoints. Thank you guys for the kind, friendly service and amazing food

Had lunch today with a colleague, am always blown away by the friendly service and DELICIOUS food. Had homemade cream of tomato soup and a Cajun chicken crepe. Highly recommended!

This place is excellent .

I have only ever done takeout from here, but their takeout app is very easy to use, and the food is always ready on time and hot. The crepes are made with fresh ingredients and are really delicious. Parking: Theres a ton of spots around the right hand side and back of the building if the front is already full.

First time it was pretty good... 4* easily. I had something similar to a breakfast crepe. The second time, what I had I didnt really like.. steak lunch crepe. I guess Im not a fan of the crepe sauce or the ingredients didnt go well together. I dont know exactly... It just didnt hit the spot. Im willing to give it another go at some point. Service and atmosphere is wonderful.. They have very friendly staff.

We were looking for a cute cafe to eat at in the area as we had just driven 6 hours from New Jersey and it left me with very happy results. The service was extremely nice even though the place was extremely packed and busy. We were sat right away and our food came pretty quickly. One of the best crepes I ve ever eaten and the craffle was really good too. I will definitely eat here again on this vacation and would recommend you to as well. Bonus: clean bathrooms, reasonable priced food, great service, DELICIOUS food

I love Luna! They cater so many of our Kanata North events and it s always a hit. Now I find myself craving their wraps all the time! Definitely a must try. Friendly, quick, great value for money & delicious.

It is a very cute and well maintained cafe. Food was really delicious and the staff were so friendly. The only thing that I wanted to mention is that it was a bit noisy.

Absolutely amazing!! That home made English cream was phenomenal I wish I could get the recipe. Crepe was perfectly crispy where it should be. And of course the staff was so lovely. 10/10 hidden gem, would recommend. Adding to my faves.
