Friendly service, very fast, food was hot and tasty. Very clean, nice decor.

I have experience really bad attitude and not even properly responding to customer. Not only this but also the not providing the food to the on time and I m feel like existing and awful.

This is the best fried chicken in town. My daughter love this place and we are regularly here for 2-3 time weekly. Highly recommended

As always I find their food tasty. For whatever reason customer service at any Popeyes is lacking. Staff seem put off by questions and dont offer helpful solutions or answers

Everything was perfect except

Have eaten here alot. Today got kicked out after one of my three young daughters brought in taco bell to eat with us. Had to corral my kids and elderly mother with dementia across parking lot while organizing now take out to eat in car. Never again.

My 1st time having popeyes. It was over 50$ for a family of 4 - goos size ckn sandwich but I was sooooo thirsty the whole night after. Staff was nice and area was very clean.

Chicken was dry. Must be re-heated. Does not worth the money.

Not only was the chicken dryer than the Sahara dessert, it s now $7.20 before tax for a large side that is LITTERALLY 5 tablespoons of mashed potatoes. Talk about shrinkflation AND inflation, don t waste your time or money. Just go to Mary Browns, Chick Fil A or KFC. A meal for 2 people just cost me $63, I ll go to a proper restaurant for that price.

Worry about customer service

I ordered a combo and asked for the cup so I could fill my drink while I wait and the tough guy behind the counter says youll get your cup when you get your food with his chest all puffed up lol. Manager was standing beside him apparently oblivious.

The customer service, with the exception of one girl, was horrendous! My pregnant sister had to use the washroom and they said no because of The COVID vaccine passport restrictions. However, on the government website (Ontario) that states the regulations, using the washroom is listed as an exemption for the rule. We have our first vaccine and are a week away from receiving our second. Two employees yelled at my PREGNANT sister and chased her screaming at her that they were not going to let her use the bathroom. What if an elderly person needs to use the bathroom will they chase them too? Everyone in the restaurant was shocked and they held up the whole line over it. And to top it off our food was horrible!! Disgusting chicken tenders and fries cold and old and gross. Do not recommend.

The employees were extremely rude. They tried to persuade me to not order what i wanted because they closed in an hour and wanted to clean. Then proceeded to give me attitude when trying to order the rest of my order.

Recently renovated. The new owner was there on the cash. joking and greeting customers. Our favourite Popeyes to go. In Canada.

Dumped a 12 piece meal in the garbage last night. As soon as I opened the bag the foul smell was overwhelming. I dont know if the chicken or the oil were rancid, but Ill never eat here again. Do not recommend.

Boneless wings super yummy but even with the deal SO expensive! You get like 6 small wings for 9 dollars! But they re so crisp and the sauce is delicious. Maybe I ll just go broke.

I had a very disappointing experience at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen today. The cashier, who appeared to be from a South Asian country, didnt even make eye contact with me. I had to wait for nearly 5 minutes, and it wasnt because he was busy with work. He was just chatting away with his colleagues the whole time. If he cant handle this job, he should step down from this position. Additionally, the fried chicken I bought was extremely foul-smelling, like it had been fried in old oil. How often do they change their oil? To make matters worse, he didnt even want to give me a receipt. If I hadnt insisted, I would have seen his colleague continuously fiddling with my receipt without any intention of giving it to me. This is very unprofessional. Overall, this was a terrible experience. That cashier was particularly frustrating.

Great chicken, clean place. Like every other Popeyes but be warned if you want signature beans and rice then do not go here. They do not sell it. Not even on the menu. Which seems really weird.

First time going.. we are visiting from out of town and here for an event, it was delicious, service was great, friendly staff, the owner gave us great recommendations. Would come back again next time im in town.

I have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Most of time when I go, there is no chicken pieces ready. I don t mind waiting as I know the chicken will be freshly made. Today, I ordered online (order #928) and arrived to a 10-15 minute wait for chicken pieces. After waiting for 10 minutes, a customer also with a chicken piece online order arrived (order #931 - I asked her!!!) was told 10 minute for her chicken pieces. She didn t have time to wait so she requested a refund. Rather than refund her money, they prepared her order ahead of mine thereby taking the pieces I had been waiting for. Clearly, not fair! I hope the manager reads this and addresses the issue.

Best chicken recipe!

I order a 2 big box on Uber eats. One was perfectly fresh and other was totally stale. The onions rings was too hard. Unchewable. I always order from this location on uber eats. I am really disappointed.

The characterless manager working there has no sense of humanity. He tries to take out his frustrations on people, the people who work there, and the delivery drivers. The restaurant officials who brought him there urgently need to take that immoral person out of there and do what he deserves.

The Hazeldine location have great staff, I showed up pretty late close to close. The chicken they had wasn t the freshest so they made me all Fresh spicy tenders. They went above and beyond to make sure my food was exceptional

DONT BE SO CHEAP WITH YOUR FRIES! SKIMPY. Food quality is good and food is somewhat fresh. Sometimes its dry, almost like its been sitting under a lamp or something. Most annoying thing is that theyre so cheap with their fries like how can you be so skimpy with the cheapest item on your menu, potato is not where you start to save money. I ordered 4pc combo, two sandwiches and blackened wings plus tenders with side of large fries. My combo literally had 12 pieces of fries. I was flabbergasted as soon as I got home and opened my order. Thank God I ordered side of fries even that was not enough. When a customer spends more than $60 dollars on an order make sure dont be so cheap. Not with fries atleast. Regular fries were less than small and large fries side was almost regular sized.... Im sure its not the staff, def a skimpy owner who tells them to put less. It was okay with being served with baby chicken sized pieces but this is whole new level of cheap.

Hello, I ordered 12 onion rings and unfortunately they were very bad and I wanted to return them, saying that they were not the same as what we always eat. They did not help at all. The taste was bitter and very oily. When we tried to eat them, the onions were separated from the sauce and could not be bitten into. In one word, it was disgusting. They all went to the trash. I hope you will take my complaint into consideration and do a better job and be more helpful to your customers.

We ordered chickens and it was smell bad. We told the employees about it and they said it was new. They are so unprofessional.

My gf and i dine in in this location coz we love popeyes. We have to say this is the worst popeyes in all ottawa. Rude staff, bad customer service. The place is just dead and misserable. Theres this indian old man and another indian woman manager/owner/supervisor that has 0 customer service skills, no hi hello greeting. Its such a shame for the franchise. We ordered fries and onion rings, the portion size is alot smaller than other location. This location is cheap af, super super cheap! Bad management and poor staffing!

Was very disappointed last two times ordering from uber. They only gave dark meat no option for while from uber and was super creasy. Very disappointing as every other time Popeyes was a 10 star from this location. To owners why did you get rid of allowing to buying white meat and you load the family meals all with dark meat that s so greasy and made us feel like puking from the crease and fat on the chicken.

The food is amazing but our service was lacking. Our order was taken quickly by the manager, but we did not receive our food for quite a bit of time. Approx 10 people were served before us that ordered after we did. We only received our food after I questioned when we would receive it. This is the first time for extremely poor service, so I still gave it a fairly good rating.

I had 2 different orders each one with a drink and they refused me 2 trays that s absolutely ridiculous!!!!

I had a large order for chicken. Manager and the rest of the staff were really nice and patient with me. Even suggesting options of the combo to get more for my money. They were also quick to prepare the food and had a nice young man help me carry my order to the car (in winter). I was in and out of there! THANK YOU FOR GOING THE EXTRA MILE! Will only come to this branch whenever I visit Ottawa.

I think even a star given to this restaurant is an insult to that star. It was as if they were standing there not to serve food but to be rude to customers. Im sure other branches are not like this. the cashier was so rude I thought it was a camera joke. I asked for a cupholder to carry my drink, they didnt give me it. Guess what? The cashier said that one drink no tray. I thought he was joking. Dishonest and rude cashiers. Absolutely horrible experience, please dont waste your money try somewhere else.

If you are fond of fry chicken and want to try in Kanata, Ottawa go for Popeyes. This is the best fried chicken chain I have been to, way better than KFC (Salty & Oily chicken). Also, there special deals are pretty good. We love there spicy fried chicken and spicy chicken sandwich both are our favorites. Also, the staff is amazing, I might have put the wrong survey code for the free chicken promo, but still the manager gave me an exemption & gave me that offer. Highly recommend

I went out of my way to try this restaurant since all my friends were raving about it. I had great expectation. I went off peak hour. The chicken was warm and not very crispy. I was disappointed. Maybe I was unlucky.

The first 4-6 months of this store being open, the food options were very limited. But since the change of management, it has been phenomenal! Ive been a long time customer of Popeyes, since Ive lived in Florida and I can say that its becoming better with each visit.

The service provided is terribly bad! They demonstrate a lack of respect towards customers, as well as their own employees. The supposed manager refused to provide me with a tray for my beverage, seemingly attempting to cut costs by denying trays for single drinks! McDonalds or Tim Hortons dont have such an issue. Additionally, they intentionally deactivated the push-button that enables wheelchair-bound individuals to open the door. I became aware of this when the manager, who I must emphasize is far from deserving of the title, yelled at me when I tried to use the push button while my hands were full of food and a drink. What kind of store would treat their customers like this? Yes, it is Popeyes!!! I dont write reviews very often. Think of my frustration to come here and write this review!

Don t try it, worst taste ever

Very bad stuff and bad quality I want to complain that the children is not cooked well, they said it is all cooked same way and we can not return or change. Not recommended at all.

Too bad I need to drive farther to get my loved Popeyes. Why they don t quality control? Update: I went there again and got chicken that smell stinky. I called the store and nobody answered the phone. Will never go back.

Quick efficient service

This location is taking a nose dive this is the last time I will order from here. Ordered dinner for family and our chicken was old and stale. I ordered around 8pm and had to throw everything out as it looked and tasted like chicken was from the day before. Very disappointing!!!

Super clean, friendly staff and great fresh food.

A lovely place near the house for the fried chicken cravings. We go there often, and enjoy the menu. My top picks are: Ghost pepper wings - 5/5, amazing flavor, love the spice in it and freshly fried. Always the highlight on my platter Signature chicken (spicy) - 3/5, not the best friend chicken I ve eaten but not bad either. I have tried a few times, and it feels like over fried every time and is way too oily.. the oil doesn t help with the appetite. Chicken tenders - 4/5, great for kids and the taste just right. Chicken burger / sandwich - 3/5, love the chicken in it but the bun isn t great. Overall a good experience, will surely return for the wings.

I am sorry for being direct but any store where these Indians are running have lowered the standard to the ground. High time for Popeye to realize that they are losing their loyal customers.

Bruh their chicken is old and dry. The chicken is on the shelf since before I walked in and after, the sandwich was cheap on sauce.The flavor isnt good, its not so fresh. The shrimps were funky and 60% batter by volume. Felt like I was eating deep fried batter with a shrimp tasting filling that wasnt appetizing at all. Quality is bad. The manager or boss isnt so nice to his employees it seems. Theyre cheap on condiments. I would not recommend this place to my enemy. Just go to Kentucky Fried Flightless-Birds, or better yet, go to Micky Dees. Spare yourselves.

I read other peoples comments and found out Im not the only one! If I could give 0 stars, I would!!! The manager is very rude. We would always ask for our food in to-go containers so we can take them home if we didnt finish them but would still eat in the store. One time, we were eating our food and we asked for extra napkin at the cash. The manager told us that if we are dining in, then we should not have asked for to-go containers! I was speechless but we just said okay and left. So many experience we had at this place other than that. I hope they do better because we love their chicken. For now, we are enjoying Mary Browns at Kanata Centrum. The staff are very nice and chill and they always have good promos going on. Highly recommend! Thank you!

The store manager displayed a severe lack of respect, remarking that my parents hadnt taught me proper manners simply because I had my leg up. He also showed a consistent pattern of disrespect towards his own employees.

A very good place to grab a chicken sandwich or super delicious fried chicken. The place is very clean, and there is a lot of seating inside. I love coming here with kids. Service is great.

The kanata store is the worst Ive been in. The owner asks if you want spicy or regular chicken. Doesnt matter he will give you spicy. Owners dont make that kind of mistake so after 3 times of him doing this he is obviously doing it on purpose. What do they make more money off of spicy chicken. The owner is a joke and shouldnt be in business. I live in carleton place and Im cant drive back. Makes no sense to waste 20 in gas to replace 30 chicken. The one time I had ok service wast when the owner didnt serve me.

I have tried many popeyes and to be honest this is the worst popeyes specially in terms of service.Staff is very rude . We bought drink with our food and we ask them to give cup for drinks because our food was still preparing but to my surprise the counter lady said , NO , we would give you the drink glass with food only not before. We went there for many times and each time they were out of stock for Onion rings . In terms of cleanliness they are also very poor, if some body left food at the table their staff dont bother to clean it because they think its duty of the next customer. Bathroom door lock is always out of order and one of the two bath rooms is always out of order . Only bath room working is the one for disabled persons . Never saw a smile on the face of counter boy or girl very poor attitude . They always charged extra for dipping sauces and one time even i pay for the dipping sauce they did not pack them in my order.
