My experience didn’t leave the best first impression… To summarize, my rating is mainly for the beautiful decor inside & the comfortable spacious seating. The desserts were average, my request for adding blueberries turned out to be blackberries, and the crepes were surprisingly crispy rather than soft. We arrived about an hour before closing, ordered two crepes, one waffle, two drinks, a hot dog, and poutine. Our server was friendly, but we were surprised she didn’t have to write down our order at all. To our disappointment… all desserts were served first, only to find out about an hour later, our poutine & hot dog was never inputted. When we asked if it was on the way, she said the machines were all shut down already. (The only things we thoroughly enjoyed was the drinks) We stopped in for a late night snack & dessert as I’ve been wanting to try this place out everytime I pass by after the movies but it turned out to be a bit of a letdown tonight.
RJ took care of us and was super helpful. Great smile, great place, super service! My only suggestion would be to make the Warm and Loving with fresh apples, not canned filling. We will be back to try other plates.
The front desk staff member (I wish I remembered his name) was incredibly helpful and accommodating despite the huge crowd. He even offered me a peaceful seating area, which I really appreciated. I had concerns about cleanliness, as my plate looked dirty and I found a hair in my burger. I mentioned it to the staff, and while they were polite, I hope they take steps to improve hygiene moving forward. Given the cleanliness problems, I can't say it was worth it. Tho the place has a nice interior and cozy.

We ordered a bunch of desserts at this location and everything was wonderful! Each and every dessert was delicious and served very quickly after ordering. The customer service was amazing and all the servers were very polite. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant and we enjoyed it even more given that they were not super busy. The restaurant was very clean and well organized. Would definitely recommend trying the croffles!
It is a must-visit cafe. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the delightful and cheerful atmosphere. The decor is very adorable. The staff is super friendly, and the service is quick. Their menu is packed with many amazing options. They also have vegan options, so everyone can indulge!" The presentation is as beautiful as it tastes. Furthermore, they have long working hours and are open late at night.
It's my first time here .. the service is 💯 % good the staff were so friendly & quick. The food was good and the dessert too. It's a little bit loud maybe cuz it's stacked but still a nice place to with friends & family.

Went there and was surprised to see the amount of tables that were dirty. At least 10-15 tables not cleaned after customers left. I thought maybe there was a big group but no. I picked up the receipts from one of the tables and it said 8:20; I was there at 11:30. So the staff left the tables dirts for more than 3 hours. It s not like they were packed and busy, staff was unserious and joking around. I left before ordering because I didnt want to think what else could be left dirty for that long in the kitchen. It s a good chain but this location needs to step up their game and be more professional.

Me and my wife came and got a blue lagoon virgin mojito which is we think was very sad with the quality being a lemonade syrup blue curacao and sparkling water with few mint leaves which I would rate as a 1-2 stars. My wife loved her chocolate hazelnut latte and then we both got a burger I had ordered the Hawaiian which we both liked abd my wife ordered the samosa burger but we found that the samosa was like every frozen samosa that you could buy in a grocery store and didnt have any hint of spice that a true Indian household would make from scratch and the garlic aioli wasnt anything special either it was as though they arent trying to put the wow factor into there meals but hopefully there hidden gem desert will be interesting. Dietary restrictions: They dont have a menu for people who would be lactose free but the is about a dozen options that dont have dairy but you need to make sure that the dairy can be substituted for a different option.
The service is very slow. Unbelievable!! Half an hour to get your order. 15 minutes to get you the bill. Need to hire more staff

I came here multiple times and tried different deserts. They were all good. On my last visit we received service from Dhrasti. She was really good at customer service. She made sure couple of times that if we need anything else. She provided some suggestions on order which was good. Food

I can see why this place is going out of business soon. Half the menu was not available and the items we were able to order were underbaked, oversweet and generally unpalatable. I recommend waiting a few years for the next restaurant to replace this one.

The spot is lovely, and the decor and desserts are on point, which makes this upsetting. The staffs hygiene is of true horror, if the staff hygiene is this poor, what is behind the counter where our food is prepared. It really does make me question the cleanliness of the restaurant and definitely the kitchen. It made me feel like the food wasnt clean. Each time staff would come close or walk by, we were met with a horrible smell of BO. This made us not want to eat. It is unbelievable that every single staff member smelt bad! We will not be going back until the hygiene of staff is fixed. Edit: After reading a lot of these reviews, I am in true belief that these reviews are basis and or bots..

We had a reservation for Saturday at 6.30pm for a larger group and when we arrived it wasn t ready but the place was so busy and visibly short staffed. After talking to staff, he went to clean up a nice large booth for us and was super apologetic. Additional employees started clocking in which was great. We had a nice server and the food and drinks were amazing! The place was NON-STOP packed. Guests were lined up outside even at some point. You seriously can t go wrong with this place and their menu is massive! We were really impressed! Will be back for sure!! Dietary restrictions: All halal!

Yesterday I went with a friend to dspot in Kanata and we ordered the skillet cookie. It was absolutely disgusting, the cookie was undercooked and mushy, I asked them to put it back in the oven twice, but still it was mushy. The texture of the cookie was like mashed potatoes. I went to different dsport locations in toronto and they were amazing. The one in Kanata is not, I don t recommend it, the quality is pretty bad. TBH, I would not eat there in dspot Ottawa even if they offered the food for free.

The server asked us to wait to clean a table and we sat down in the waiting area saying that he needs to clean a table for us to sit. Multiple people walked in after us and got the tables (including next to the windows). Send like a clear case of discrimination due to us being people of color. Will never come to a Dspot again.

I never usually leave reviews but this place was so bad I had to. Ive been to multiple dspots in different cities and have never been dissatisfied. But this location was borderline disgusting. We placed an online pickup order and the oreo crepe was stale and hard. It also tasted bitter and it was obvious it wasnt prepared correctly. Also there was barely any chocolate drizzle so it was basically just dry crepe with oreo pieces. We drove from montreal to Ottawa and were so excited but thoroughly disappointed. Will not be returning at this location and will stick to other cities.
