Vindaloo frankie was good. The price was a bit higher. The customer service guy was amazing in serving and good communicating.

If ever im in Kanata and i need something to eat, Frankies is my go to option. Healthy and very fresh food and everyone is so kind, always greeted with a smile. 5

My husband and I ordered the butter chicken Frankie (spicy, all veg, egg wash), and a BF Masala Frankie with potatoes (regular spice, all veg, egg wash). Both were excellent, great price, and filling! We love popping in for a delicious quick bite!

Overall, the experience was average. The employees were not particularly friendly, and the food was decent but overpriced for the portion sizes. The portions felt quite small for the cost. Additionally, it was uncomfortable to receive dirty looks from the staff for not leaving a tip this is a fast-food restaurant, not a dine-in establishment.

Edit 10/24: I ve been coming here for four months and the chai too has always been great each time. The staff here is always cheerful and friendly, and it s fun to chat with them, especially Zeel! :D A great place to stop at if you want a quick bite of some really yummy Indian street food! This has been my go-to for a while and will continue to be so.

I recently visited Bombay Frankie, and it was an unforgettable experience! The vada pav was simply delicious the spicy potato filling was perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of heat. The vada was crispy on the outside and soft inside, pairing wonderfully with the fresh, soft pav. The homemade green chutney added a refreshing kick, and the tamarind chutney provided a lovely sweetness. I also loved the fried green chili on the side; it really enhanced the flavor! The ambiance was lively, and the service was quick and friendly. For anyone craving authentic Mumbai street food, this place is a must-visit. Can t wait to come back for more! Fun and fresh! Loved the roti wrap and the pakoras. Zeel was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our dinner enjoyable by making suggestions, helping us split dishes and bringing water to our table - something you dont expect at a counter service shop.

This was my first time trying and it did not disappoint. Right from the entry you are greeted warmly by the cashier who offers to explain the options for you if you are new to the restaurant. The food came super quick. It was surprisingly tasty. There was a great dining space for us to sit and sample the items together. Very clean. My only regret is not taking pictures.

I went for lunch with my parents, and it was great!! I ordered the paneer tikka masala and maharaja frankie, and both were amazing. The place has a nice feel to it and the ambience was awesome. The person at the counter, Zeel was a great help while we decided what to order, giving us good recommendations. Once we got our food, she made sure to check in to see if we needed anything and that we were enjoying our meal.

We had a fantastic lunch experience at Bombay Frankies in Kanata! My family and I were impressed by the excellent value for money, great ambiance, and the outstanding service provided by Ms. Zeel. The Paneer Tikka and Achari Aloo are absolute must-tries; both dishes were perfectly spiced and full of flavor. Digging Bombay Frankies, the vindaloo wrap is great with that awesome slow burn heat. They have quick bite pakoras and everything smells great. Such a better option for fast food than burgers, a must try if you havent and a definite go-to if you have.

Worst food i have ever taste, nothing like indian food

I decided to try Bombay Frankies as I had driven past it a few times. I ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala Frankie. It was freshly made & quick. Dhara at the front was welcoming, attentive and pleasant, nice conversation about food in general as well as their menu. When I mentioned I could have handled more spice She suggested to mention Indian hot next time around. The place is clean. Definitely will be back.

Delicious food and so convenient!

The service was so friendly. They helped me with everything for take out. Delicious sandwiches and the mango Lassi is a must try. The chips were also very surprising, with just the right amount of spice. At 60$ it feeds a family of four.

It is one of of my favorite spots in entire ottawa. Dhara and justin are particularly my favorites there as they always serve with a smile.

Came on a whim and experienced great service and delicious food. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala bowl, the new Tandoori Chicken Frankie (a favourite here, apparently!), and a side of pakoras. We love that everything is made in house. We ate in, and all of our food was served with actual bowls and cutlery (vs disposable). Service itself was quick and the kind employee who took our order took the initiative to walk through the menu with us. We ll definitely be back! One thing we d appreciate is a koala care changing station for parents with babies :)

Friendly service and great food!

I been vegetarian my whole life and this was the first time I had to taste meat. I ordered paneer tikka with no egg wash. And when I started eating i was like why am i not tasting paneer until i found out that I am eating chicken. I did confront the people there and yes they offered me to make new one but I can t trust them anymore. And I could care less about getting a refund for the emotional damage it cost me.

I hope the owner takes this feedback positively to improve the offering. I had a chicken tika masala frankie. 1. The bread/paratha was thick, a bit greasy, and hard to chew. 2. Spice (chat masal) and sour yoghurt was way too overpowering. I didnt really get the taste of the actual stuffing. 3. Chicken tikka pieces were too small, so did not get the tikka flavour at all. 4. It would be nice to have a combo option with lassi and something else. Just the roll wasnt enough. 5. The menu says, served with yoghurt, but its actually yoghurt dressing/sauce, so its a bit misleading. Maybe change it? The place is bright and nicely lit, but could use a bit more interior decor.

We were unsure about this place at first due to not knowing whether the chicken was halal or not so we decided to drive over and were very pleased to find out that three sandwiches were halal! Of course, we ordered all three and they were all absolutely delicious. The service was excellent as well. We will definitely be coming back to try out some more food!

Really bad staff and they scam

Very poor food. Its not hard to make a decent vada in a huge commercial kitchen such as the one they have, but it was the absolutely worst item we tried out. Dry, cold and bread doused in copious amounts of horrible chutney. Totally not worth it. Frankies were hit and miss, some flavours better than others but certainly not like a frankie youd get in Mumbai (Bombay). Service and ambience were fine, no complaints there. Absolutely disappointing food. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Not the most pleasant experience. The food had way too much gravy on it. Asked for a glass of water from the only staff member on the floor, who was using a broom and she went to get the glass without washing her hands. Will not go again.
