Guac Mexi Grill in Kanata

I didn t receive what I ordered. Update! I decided to order again to see if my chicken burrito bowl would be what I asked for this time. I did end up getting an edible bowl however it was burnt to a crisp. Won t be ordering from this place again.

Had a regular veggie burrito. It was great. Great customer service.

I had an amazing experience at Guac Mexi Grill in Kanata! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with so many delicious options to choose from. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend trying their enchiladas, tacos, and nachos everything was made in-house and packed with authentic flavors. This is easily one of the best Mexican spots in the area. I ll definitely be back also divy is the best!!

The portion sizes here are a joke.. I ordered a large burrito with extra chicken and my wife ordered a regular chicken burrito without extra chicken and this is what we got let s not forget going from a regular to a large burrito is an additional $5.55 and the extra protein is another $2.99.. almost $10 more completely unacceptable.

The food is delicious! Much better than other mexican fast places around. The guys (Divy, Pravhat) working really hard and are super friendly and upbeat. They could use at least an extra hand especially on a Saturday evening. They worked really fast and efficient but it was very busy. They could use an expansion soon I think if it keeps staying that busy for more seating. We love the Mole Chicken, burrito bowls, carnitas and barbacoa are fantastic. The fiesta potatoes bring back a nostalgic to taco bell when we were a kid but much better quality of course.

The food was really yummy I ordered a chicken salad bowl with corn, black beans, mild salsa, mango salsa and the salad dressing the ingredients were really fresh and it was really good. my mom ordered a small burrito with chicken, rice, black beans, lettuce, mild salsa, mango salsa, and cilantro lime dressing she said she enjoyed it. The chicken was warm and not dry like I find some fast food restaurants chicken is. We also ordered 2 chocolate chip cookies that tasted pretty good almost tasted home made they weren t warm but they were still pretty good. The serves was fast and the workers were extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend if you re in a rush and want some good food fast.

I had an exceptional experience with the large burrito at GAUC Mexi Grill. The vegetables were incredibly fresh, and the protein content was outstanding. Moreover, the service was impeccable, with a polite staff member making my first visit truly memorable. This visit has undoubtedly hooked me, and I foresee getting addicted to the delectable offerings at GAUC Mexi Grill. A solid 5-star experience!

whoever was there at 330pm Adiya on Thursday March 14 was incompetent. He asked my grandfather to check his bank account to see if the charge went through. My recommendation to him is to check if the printer is connected to the debit machine and computer. he made us pay twice!! They also dont do guac in your food, only on the side which is 1 star material alone.

I am from Texas and have been in Ottawa 6 years, tried lots of Mexican food here too! This is the first time the tacos tasted like authentic Tex-Mex! I decided to give this place a try due to the great reviews and I was very impressed! I got a bowl with carnitas and barbacoa and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was juicy and flavourful and they use fresh ingredients. I also got chip & guac which was also yummy. There was a dinner rush and the staff remained super friendly and efficient. Will definitely come back next time Im in the area.

This is now becoming my favourite place to get burrito bowls and burritos. Super filling and their beef dishes are amazing. Chicken might be a little dry sometimes. All the ingredients are fresh. Recommend getting the churro and caramel chocolate to treat yourself. Have eaten from here a few times and will do it again many more!

I used to love this burrito place in Ottawa, but my recent visit on Sunday, February 4th, at 3 pm was disappointing. Despite being a loyal customer with 8 previous visits, the experience was ruined. The staff seemed disinterested, scraping dried rice into my burrito instead of using fresh rice. When I asked to add chips, I was rudely told its not in the menu, although in the past, other friendly staff members happily accommodated such requests. The burrito lacked proper toasting and felt soggy. Sadly, the overall food quality has deteriorated, making it my worst experience, and I wont be returning.

This is the only one i can find near by my hotel open until midnight , i decide give it try , but not bad at all , taste good , i like the sauce they give me and lot of cheese, which i love cheese and spicy .

I tried a taco and it was super good, but the service is kind of slow. I went there for Taco Tuesday which they say we can get a taco for 2.49$, but to get that, you have to buy 3 tacos. I ended up buying a normal one for 3.49$ with guac which is plus 1.50$. The onions in the guac are also too big in my opinion. Dietary restrictions: They sell vegan tacos with free guac.

I ordered three times using Uber eats. I have enjoyed it every single time. It was rich in taste and texture. Very fresh vegetables and dips were offered. I am vegetarian and I ordered fiesta potatoes not knowing that it contains meat. They somehow wondered if this was by mistake looking at the rest of the vegetarian dishes in the order, they kindly called me to confirm if they should add the meat in it or make it vegetarian. How kind! On top of it this dish was free because of a promotion they are offering at the moment. I was very happy that they checked with me before sending that order over and I really enjoyed each bite of it. I will be a regular here and I recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to try an excellent Mexican food!!! Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options. My taste buds had party . Just took out two taco trios so in order to get a sampling of the meats and they did not disappoint! The staff were polite and very enthusiastic about their restaurant, they seemed to be very proud of the food that they serve and with good reason. Absolutely fantastic, will become my new go-to when craving Mexican food. Well done!

I got the taco bowl, and the whole menu and system reminds me very much of chipotle. Since theres only 1 chipotle in Ottawa at the moment and its downtown, this is an amazing substitute. The salsas are divided the same way, the beans are the same. One of the differences was this option for a hard taco bowl, which can be broken apart to grab some of the bowl for a variety of textures in a bite. I will definitely be coming back!

Upon 2 hours of brief slumber, my partner and i were faced with a 12 hour workday. One that was met with deep exhaustion and hunger. After parking the car we sought a placed that could offer fresh food and some peace of mind. We noticed Guac as we found a charging station. It was a blazing couple days in Kanata Ottawa, and the moment we opened the door, we were met with refreshing cool air and the smell of simple yet delicious ingredients. Thankfully it was open prior to its Grand Opening , as it filled the appetite for a fresh meal and the appetite for peace of mind, as we unintentionally entered a deep REM sleep. Overall the food was exactly as advertised, fairly priced, delicious and the atmosphere and service leave you feeling a sense of tranquility that you may have long awaited. (Maybe some dreams, unbothered, do come true)

Guac Kanata is amazing!!!! It is my go to Friday night take out spot and sometimes even another night during the week because it is so good! Everything is so fresh and flavourful. There are other similar take out places to Guac, but this place is by far the best I have had!!! The team working there is also just as amazing! Extremely welcoming and top notch customer service. I had an incredible experience at this Mexican place owned by Jigneshbhai! The nachos I tried were absolutely amazing. The freshest of ingredients used for their burrito bowls and salads. Comes with a variety of toppings and sauces all at a reasonable price. Went for the first time today - in the back area of Centrum near Boston Pizza. Had the steak burrito- big servings, fresh ingredients and better steak than most other burrito chains. What I liked was that the onions and green peppers were cut up really small so you don t get those awkward bites like other places. Staff very friendly - I ll be back again for takeout regularly! One thought ( and this is for the franchise chain - not this particular location). If the restaurant is called Guac then you shouldn t charge extra to add guac to the items on the menu :-). Build it into the pricing and people can choose whether or not they want it added to their particular order. Seems a bit nickel and diming to have an add on charge for the chains namesake ingredient .

This is the second time were ordering from here. Both time my husband and I ordered a chicken burrito and beef burrito each. While I agree the food is fresh, when ordering in, Ive notice they skimp on the meat a lot. The first time I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and let it go. The second time again, the meat (both in chicken and beef burritos) were so little that it felt like were eating a vegetarian burrito with lot of rice and vegetables. This is unacceptable. We deserve to get sufficient meat for the price we pay. Secondly, the spiciness is not consistent across the burrito. Its either concentrated right at the very beginning or at the end or theres no spiciness at all even though we had selected it in our order. Last time, in the chicken burrito, all the spicy sauce and the onions and what not were concentrated at the very end of the burrito. This kind of destroys the experience. The notes we add when ordering are also not taken into account.
