Amazing food and friendly staff everytime.

Disappointing Experience - This used to be my go-to shawarma spot, but after my recent visit, I m beyond disappointed. I ordered a large chicken shawarma wrap with garlic potatoes, and the service was shockingly unprofessional. The shawarma was made with mostly raw chicken, and the visible pieces of uncooked chicken skin were unacceptable. As for the garlic potatoes, they were disgusting and completely undercooked. I used to love this place, but after this experience, I m done. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

We stopped by here today to get some food with the family. The food was great but customer service was excellent. Will definitely try it again when we are back in Ottawa.

The shop needs to be cleaned very dirty and greasy. BUT FOOD WAS GREAT. PLEASE clean the place.

Love this Persian run shawarma shop I ve been going for years now and I m never disappointed. Food quality and generous portion size is fantastic. Can only speak for this specific location.

Food was not good at all . The shawarma was prepared nicely in front of me but it was definitely not left on the grill long enough and it the shawarma was soggy and gross. The potatoes were not boiled or baked long enough and still crunchy in the middle. Not feeling well. Very dissatisfied.

I recently visited shawarma prince and was quite disappointed with the experience. The workers seemed unprofessional and lacked basic skills in preparing shawarma. When I opened the wrap, it was poorly assembled, making it almost impossible to eat without creating a mess. The wrap fell apart during the meal, forcing me to eat it in a way that was both inconvenient and frustrating. I hope the management can address these issues and train their staff properly. For now, I cant recommend this place for a good shawarma experience.

Never going back. Ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich combo with potato s. I bit into a huge piece of plastic! Not even joking, thought it was a bone, took it out and it was a big white piece of plastic. The wrap it s self was completely destroyed upon delivery also. Couldn t even finish it because at the end, it was all spilled into the paper. No fork for potato s so I had to get messy with the fingers. You ll never see me again

Was having a really rough day, really needed something to eat so I decided to try. Everything was fresh, juicy, and tasty. Service was extremely quick and person was very friendly. Large chicken sandwich and yogurt drink. For some it may be a bit saucy at the end so if you do not like it saucy maybe ask for a bit less! The restaurant itself looked very nice and clean. The food was so good. The place was busy which is always a good sign when it comes to restaurants. Not the best place to sit down for a meal but it is totally worth the drive.

This is my go to place for Shawarma in Kanata!. Their food is so fresh and tasty!. They are so welcoming!.

Went to their bathroom and was horrified at how dirty it was, it looked like it hadn t been cleaned in days if not weeks. Pee all over, streaks in the toilet that looked like they had been there for a long time, dirty clothes in the corner. And this was just the women s. Seeing how dirty and not well kept their public bathroom was that their customers would see, made me disgusted to eat their food. I can only imagine what the stuff customers don t see look like. An establishment that sells food should have top notch cleanliness everywhere.

By far the best shwarma in the Ottawa area. Very generous portions and all the toppings you desire. Their beef and chicken shwarma taste amazing and they load on the meat. I have never been able to finish my plate in one sitting. I have tried over 20 shwarma restaurants in the Ottawa area and this is my No.1.

Love this place! Excellent quality food! Been coming here for many years. Consistently fresh food, and high attention to quality. Vegetarian options: Their salad is extensive, including red and green cabbage, tomatoes, green and red bell peppers, romaine lettuce. Tabouli is made fresh on premises too!

Not a fan of posting negative reviews but this was pretty awful - the chicken was extremely fatty to the point I had to pick apart the good chicken and the fatty chicken the beef was dry and hard, the potatoes were extremely oily and soggy and the person who wrapped my shawarma obviously didn t know how to wrap a shawarma; I basically had a plate of chicken and toppings with a side of soggy unwrapped pita. Will not be back.

I recently moved to Stittsville and was looking for my go to Shawarma place and I think I finally found one. This place is very simple and serves fresh and hot food. All the veggies, salad is freshly cut and served in front of you. The shawarma meat is cooking in the background and the orders are going left right center out of the door. They are very busy specially during lunch and dinner time where people queue up for takeout a Family platter or meal for two in the form of small platters or just a shawarma/sandwich. The price is reasonable for one person meal with shawarma costing less than $10 and comes with huge portion of ingredients. The flavour is to die for. If you are near Terry fox road and want to eat something wholesome and fresh this is a must try. They offer veg and vegan options too.

Used to have them rated 5 stars. Quality has gone downhill while prices have doubled. Served raw potatoes in our last order.

We had medium chicken salads. They were very expensive, and maybe 6/10. The place was pretty grimey with misc items stacked on some of the tables. They had two music stations playing loudly at the same time, which is hard to ignore. The bathroom was really filthy. I dont think Id go back.

I remember coming here when I was a boy with my mom. It has been almost a decade since the last time I have set foot here. I am not disappointed, the staff is professional, the food is amazing, they catered everyones orders with reasonable time and no fault. If I could give more stars I would.

The food at this restaurant is the most delicious Ive ever tasted. Not only that, but the service is also exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly and generous towards their customers. I am certain that I will return to this restaurant with my family and friends repeatedly. If youre looking for an outstanding shawarma, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Stopped in for lunch while working in town. Nice little place with very friendly guys. I had the salad with chicken shawarma. It was awesome. Chicken was delicious with nice fresh salad greens. The hummus was good but the garlic dip was terrific. It was creamy and was excellent add to the salad. I love chicken shawarma salads and the garlic dip was the best I have had. I haven t stopped thinking about the salad since i left. If you are in Kanata you have to stop in and try their food. Great guys and great food

Got a sandwich and 2 mixed plates and it was delicious.

We held our year end event for our tennis club for 55 people last evening. The food was prepared for us in trays and we picked it up to bring to our event. The amount of food was very generous and was absolutely delicious. We had the chicken and beef, salad, rice, potatoes, pita, hummus and garlic dips. Everyone enjoyed the delicious meal and there was plenty for seconds. The price of was also very reasonable. Thank you so much.

First time coming here, everyone was SO nice, good music, fantastic service and my baby loved the food!

I visited this place on a wednesday at around 11.30 am, the chicken and wedges were absolutely fresh, just the bread was a bit bad, or maybe the guy didnt know how to wrap it because half way through the sandwich tore up. Also he put way more chicken than needed. It was a good shawarma tho.

Two items missing from the order. They claimed all items were in the bag. They didn t seem to believe us or care when we called, they didn t offer to deliver the missing items or offer partial refund. So essentially we paid for food we did not receive. I don t leave reviews, but I m disappointed with their response!

I just had the best poutine I have ever tasted!!! Chicken shawarma poutine to be exact.....delicious. Gravy was tasty, not salty (as most poutine gravies are) I ordered the medium size, quite substantial...will have lots of leftovers for tomorrow.

Good taste, But I ordered a large chicken shawarma sandwich, and it was $12, and not very big or heavy. Was only as round as a normal regular.

I ordered a shawarma poutine and Donaire platter meal. The poutine was horrible, with a wrotten taste to it. My peers agreed that it was gone bad. I was sick the next day. Everything on the Donaire meal was too dry. Worst shawarma experience of my life. I dont normally write bad reviews, but that was a lot of money to be disappointed.

I paid for some food through Uber eats and Uber eats mixed up my order with someone else s order. I called the restaurant and Abdul answered and he was very apologetic and helpful. He offered to give me a store credit for the next time I order food there. And as a bonus, the sandwich was absolutely delicious! 1/5 stars for Uber eats and 10/5 stars for this restaurant.

I visited this place a few times and absolutely loved it. Their sandwiches were very filling and delicious. The staff are very friendly and always offer my military spouse a free drink, which we accepted one time. They have a variety of options for veg, such as grilled broccoli and cauliflower.

If you like huge chunks of what tastes like boiled beef wrapped in cold pita this is the place for you. We bought two beef sandwiches for $34... They are by far the worst ones in all of kanata if not Ottawa. I called and they offered me anything else but the sandwich was so bad I dont want it. How can you sell something like that for so much? Got food poisoning from here last night. Avoid at all costs. I m assuming it was from the congealed garlic sauce. I should have known better.

Thank you thank you thank you for staying open late on Saturday May 21 to feed those affected by the storm. We showed up an hour after they were supposed to close and the staff was all still there working hard to get people fed. The food was delicious and hot and a perfect end to a rough day.

It is ok but I had better. The Tabouli was yellowish. I was glad they had service after the storm and it was crowded. Given the circumstances, I should be greatful.

I was wondering why the chicken tastes plain with zero seasoning... I was biting into my shawarma and was actually kind of put off by the plain chicken taste.. We all know what a plain unseasoned piece of chicken tastes like.. Unappetizing.. Shouldnt the meat have some marinade or seasoning on it to mask the very plain chicken aftertaste? I didnt like that about shawarma prince.

Asked for combo #1 with fries but the employee told me they don t have fries only potatoes, but I can see the potatoes aren t fully cooked but I made the mistake and tried them since they don t have fries. They were hard and cold. The place on the inside is so dirty I don t know how this place is still open? If a restaurant has a dirty front imagine the back? Like the kitchen area. It needs a renovation and cleaning. There are so many shawarma spots in Ottawa.

Why never , ever put sauce on the actual chicken/beef? Always comes in a tiny little container on the side very little sauce so ends up being a dry platter. Put the sauce on the meat!!

Tried this place for the first time tonight and unfortunately regret it. My fattoush salad was barely dressed lettuce with a single green pepper, and the falafels were equally as bad. They were super salty and tasted burnt, which kind of tainted the whole pita. Ill at least say that the garlic sauce was half decent!

Its not Shawarma prince anymore, its Willys pizza but good pizza!

They screwed up my order 2/2 times now. I ordered a salad with my meal and they gave me more potatoes, I asked for spicy garlic sauce on my sandwich both times and they gave me regular garlic sauce. The food tastes good but the sandwiches were wrapped so poorly that it wasnt enjoying to eat at all.

I got a platter here recently. Overall mediocre and stale. The rice had definitely gone bad as it had an off smell and was hard to chew that I had to throw it out. Watch out what you order here as you can easily pick up food poisoning.

Enjoyed the family platter. I was able to feed 5 people for about 3 meals. A lot of food which was great! It tasted very delicious. Loved everything about it. My only critique of this restaurant is their customer service. When I entered, I had to wait about 5 minutes to get their attention (there was no line, I was the only customer waiting to be helped). He continued to get together other online orders while I waited patiently. Especially with the pandemic, I wouldnt want people lurking around (just get in and out). He finally helped me when I was fake coughing to get his attention.

This place is so cheap on their chicken in their platters its unbelievable! I knew this place was gonna try and go cheap on the chicken as soon as they started scooping in the rice and potatoes... They filled up my plate on potatoes and rice (the cheap stuff) so there would be no room for chicken... Then they put two SMALL scoops of chicken on the platter.... I go to call them out on it and the guy has the nerve to say to me are you serious?... I told him YES I AM! I told him that he filled up the plate with rice and potatoes so there would be no room for chicken... The employee was very rude and I had to argue with him to give me one more small pitiful scoop of chicken... LAST TIME GOING TO THIS PLACE! Paid $18 literally for a plate of rice and potatoes

Worst shawarma we have ever had!! Very disappointed!! The shawarma sandwiches were soggy ,cold and dry chicken. We ordered 3 portions of poutine that tasted everything but a poutine. The potatoes are not French fries they are skinned oven roasted potatoes maybe fried after that with gravy and cheese!! The potato was cold and hard . Weird taste!!! My kids loves poutine but this was big NO. Paid over $70 for something that was thrown away. The falafel were cold and showered with tahini sauce as I was expecting them worm with sauce on the side. Not recommended!!

Disappointed in the service. After waiting for a while in line, instead of being prepared a fresh to-go platter for us the server simply took a pre-assembled platter (possibly one that someone didnt want) and added the meat to the platter. The problem is, as the customer we dont know how long that platter has been sitting there for, and secondly we didnt get to choose our option of rice.

Terrible service - Ordered through Uber Eats and delivered within expected time, but that is as far as it goes. I ordered a large beef shawarma combo with spicy garlic and this comes with side of potatoes and a can of pop. I ordered a medium side dish of turnip and pickles and well. What I received was 1 large chicken shawarma combo with regular garlic sauce (with a side of potatoes), 1 can of sprite (with Uber fees nd tip I paid almost $35. I did not get the extra side of turnips and pickles that I paid for, or the beef shawarma I ordered. I tried for 45 minutes to call them to get my order corrected with no luck; I called repeatedly after 8:10pm for 30 minutes straight (not during peak dinner service hours) to try to speak with someone and get my order corrected and delivered to me. They did not pick up their phone once, and they do not have voicemail set up so customers can leave a message. Next I tried to get some feedback and called the Barrhaven location to find out if any of the Ottawa locations have same ownership because I want to talk to the owner to get my meal corrected or reimbursed, they answer their phones. I explained what happened and was informed they are all Franchise locations - so different owners. So very disappointed and will not order from there again - I feel ripped off, I am now hangry, and upset that have been forced to spent another $25 to order a beef shawarma and Tabouleh from a competitor.

I ordered a chicken plate and a beef plate. Apparently I got a dry meat plate for the money I paid. It was the worst shawarma Ive ever tasted in my life. Also the taste of the pickle was so bad,I could not finish the meal. It was definitely disappointing.

Impatient staff and rice not cooked correctly

One of the worst places in Ottawa. These guys shouldn t be in the business. Ordered twice and only got half of the order twice !!!!!!! First time called the delivery guy, he told me they were very busy and may be screwed the order. Gave them another try today because they are nearby, ordered 4 sandwiches and got only 2 !!!! Never seen this before and they claim that the delivery guy took them ( the guy is highly rated delivery guy, why should I believe the owner). Called the place and the guy told me just apply for refund through uber, what a bad ethics !!!! Looks like they are doing this intentionally to get double payment or something. Okay, lesson learned and will never order from that place.

We love this place. The family platter is massive and leaves lots for leftovers. The place is always busy at peak times so you may need to wait a bit. The staff is fast and efficient and and they move orders through quickly. It is worth the wait. The food is fresh and delicious.

We ordered family platters for a birthday party today and everything was amazing. Abdul was so nice and helpful, he split up everything for ease of serving and the food was fresh and delicious. We come here often and is our favourite shawarma place.
