The worst restaurant ever.The service barely checked on our table and we would have to keep waving down the server each time we wanted to order.The manger doesn t know how to speak, he was yelling at customers all the time. The server was like begging for tips. It s my choice if I wanna tip or not you can t beg for it. It was such an unprofessionally managed restaurant. The worst Boston Pizza ever. Never going to this location again.

The atmosphere is right for families with kids who enjoy the kids menu and coloring. The pizza is fine but its ham is a little salty. The service is good, no complaint.

Although we love the food here, this happened! Got a takeout for Cali Veggie Burger and it was pathetic, we called in and they gave a store credit. I placed another takeout order a couple of days later, when I tried to use the store credit, the old guy who claimed to be the owner, downright denied to honor it. And he literally had the audacity to say dont bring your business here

Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu. Food

Food was great as usual. Service though was lacking. I understand they had a reservation of 55 people while we were there, but they could have put a little more effort into it. We did get seated right away, but then took 15 minutes to see a server. Once we got our food we never saw the server until we were done eating and when he asked if we wanted anything else, we asked for more drinks. The waters didnt have ice and were room temperature.

Neighbours, wed never been to this location. In fact, we havent been to a BP in 10 years! Very surprised by how big & nicely designed Kanata BP is. And definitely a great summer patio! The menu is new & the food was very good. Including great wings & very cold beer! Unfortunately I forget the Servers name, but she was great!

Edit to respond here: Restaurant was not prepared for the dinner rush after the Canadian Tire Center let out. Granted we were seated quickly and understand after the events local restaurants can be overwhelemed. We were shocked it took almost an hour for our food to come out, due to the kitchen being backed up. Washroom facilities were severely under equipped, tiny mens room with one stall behind a urinal meant i had to wait several minutes to take my child to the washroom due to the one stall and single family washroom both being occupied. When we attempted to use the mens room stall the toilet was so full of feces that wouldnt flush it was unusable. Food quality was poor with the chicken from both our wings and tripple play having a soggy texture, catcus cut potatoes were soft. I withheld my complaint to the manager apon exiting due to the fact I was concerned he would blame our server. I want to be very clear, all our concerns were beyond our servers control. I regretfully forget her name but she was the taller orange haired woman with tasteful tattoos on her arms. She was an absolute delight and did her best to make the best of our experience. Her professionalism and care was the only thing that kept us from walking out. Outside of her control the restaurant experience was a complete failure.

Food was excellent. Warm and tasty. They were very accommodating with our little toddler who got crayons and paper to draw on. Theres a baby changing station too. Too many screens for my liking, but overall good place. Vegetarian options: We ordered the two vegetarian pizzas. Also, we ordered pasta and asked to change it from penne to fusilli pasta for the toddler. Kid-friendliness: Coloring book and a high chair available

I had a very unpleasant experience. My pizza was first served extremely undercooked. When I told my server she took it and brought it back burnt. When I asked for the manager, he insisted that I pay for half of the pizza when I did not even eat a single slice. I was disappointed, better off just getting dominos.

Cant recommend! We ordered the seafood fettuccini jambalaya take out. Shortly after eating the food, we both experienced stomach illness at the same time. Since the stomach illness came on quickly and to both us, we are convinced the culprit was the food ordered at this Boston Pizza location due to this strong correlation. We raised our experience with the Manager only to receive an unsympathetic and unsatisfactory result. As such, due to our experience, we can not recommend this location.

Booked this venue for a group event of 64 people. The owner and his team were fantastic. Great communication and flexibility when planning our event. The service was superb, food was delicious and the venue was clean and organized. We felt welcomed and very taken care of and our event was a huge success. Would absolutely recommend Boston Pizza!

We had a team dinner for our girls soccer team and everything was set up perfectly for the 45 people who attended. Employees were extreme friendly, very quick and efficient. This Kanata Boston Pizza was amazing!

Had a 3x birthday party there tonight. Staff was excellent. Our server deserves so much praise. They accommodated anything we needed.

This is a loud family restaurant location. The food and service is still amazing. Theyre never late with bringing out food and the servers are always on top of helping you and bringing drinks before youre completely done.

I personally dont like sitting in the bar area, but I was told there were no more seats in the regular dining area, even though I saw lots of empty tables. Anyway, the food was great as always. I had the hungry carnivore pasta, and it was very filling. The pasta was just the right doneness, and there was a big variety of meats mixed in. The cheesy garlic bread with bacon bits was amazing too.

One of my favourite places. Try the pierogi pizza! Needs more sour cream for me. :)

Sadly I got food poisoning here on an order made on Feb 9, 2024 with the most likely culprit being the Buffalo chicken Mac & cheese. Tasted good when it went down, but not so good when it came up, over and over again for 8 hours.

My friend and I had a rather nice supper here at Boston Pizza. While we didnt have the actual pizza, we enjoyed some pasta instead. I had the spicy buffalo chicken macaroni and my friend had the 5 cheese ravioli. Both were really delish.

Cant tell you how disappointing the food is. Aside from being called Bud by the staff member, the product knowledge of the menu was poor. Didnt know exactly what some things on the menu were. Not a very clean place, and the pizza was nothing special. Arrived warm at the table and was told the pizzas come to the restaurant frozen and just reheated. Extremely overpriced for what you get and just a low standards place that is very underwhelming. Seems the Boston Pizza chain is no longer the quality it was 20 years ago.

It was exactly what we expected. Food was delivered quickly, service was really good, even on the stormy night we were there. Cactus cut potatoes were delicious and a good size serving.

I have eaten at this restaurant several times. I have always found the staff friendly and attentive. The Boston Pizza menu does have a few items suitable for vegetarians. What they have is very good. I wish that there were a few more. Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian dishes are offered.

My daughter and i arrived around 3:00. She was pushing her 6 month old baby in a stroller and we asked if we could sit in a quiet corner. A few minutes later a server came over with a high chair. We told the server we were waiting for our husbands but wed like to get some water and apple juice for the baby. A few minutes later the drinks arrived and my daughter ordered a bowl of mashed potatoes for the baby. The table of six beside us got their appetizers. Then those dishes were cleared away. No mashed potatoes for my grandson. Several minutes later the waitress brought their meals out. Still no mashed potatoes for the baby. My daughter took him to the Ladies Room to clean him up. Still no mashed potatoes! Minutes before 4:00 the mashed potatoes arrived. By this time the poor baby was overtired and long past hungry. We tried to feed him but he was too tired to eat. My daughter and her husband scooped him up, dressed him and hastily left the restaurant while my husbsnd hastily paid the bill. The service was terrible and while i wanted to say something to the two servers who came by our table as we exited, i could not catch their eye. All this to say, a most unimpressive first restaurant visit for my baby grandson.

We went here for dinner and had pastas. Jambalaya pasta sauce was very acidic and had no flavor at all. There was no creole ingredients. And the Smoked Gouda & Poblano Pepper Ravioli pasta did have very little stuffing. Overall our experience on the food is sub-par.

This was pretty yuck. Came in on a busy Saturday night with friends and were told it was a 40 min wait. We had a giftcard to burn so we waited .. after 10 minutes we got our table. Service was pretty underwhelming from the get-go. We had to ask for cutlery when the food arrived and the beer took quite a while. Plates stayed on the table a solid 15 mins after we finished. We had to flag someone down to get another beer. The food was pretty bad. The chicken is chewy and the batter wasnt very crunchy. It was a pretty underwhelming piece of chicken on the chicken burger and the bread to chicken ratio wasnt great. Whatever their hot sauce is on the hot chicken burger isnt very good.. its not vinegary and doesnt have much flavour aside from like.. burnt spices. Even the fries were chewy. I really hope I dont get another gift card for Boston Pizza so I dont have to go back.

Our family dined in at the Boston Pizza in Kanata. The table was pretty snug for the 6 of us but we made it work. Pros: - lots of parking - very clean dining area - tables were labelled as sanitized - wait staff were very friendly and accommodating - food was amazing - clean bathrooms but small I honestly try to give both pros and cons but I really do not have any negatives to share. My family recommends the perogies pizza, Big Dipper sandwich, and the honey dill chicken sandwich.

Game Night Jan.18 th The Sens were playing We got a large amount of food! Didnt expect such a generous amount of toppings on my plate of Nachos The service couldnt of been any more comfortable!

We got pizza from here today and the topping were not cooked well and even the amount of chicken pieces are very less . We took half chicken and half veg we didn t like both of them . I would say Domonios pizza is far better than this and they give an option to select the toppings and the amount of toppings that we need. Over all not that great experience with BP today.

Go to this Boston Pizza a few times a year and todays server was so great I had to write. William P was amazing, probably best server weve had at any restaurant in a while. It was busy with short wait, the host was even nice enough to change our table for high chair access when we forgot to mention baby . Tons of Disney on Ice attendees and children everywhere and our server was so patient and friendly. I appreciate he disclosed when our sides were an upcharge, instead of us getting bill shock. And our baby had a meltdown after rubbing food in his eyes, so we were cleaning his hands and face while William was making funny faces and distracting our baby behind us. Would recommend this venue, if youre a BP fan and have kiddos

Had the chicken mushroom Alfredo, wasnt bad but was disappointed in the chicken. Was cubbed precooked chicken with rubbery texture. Was hoping for fresh grilled chicken. Kid-friendliness: A kid friendly environment

Came with a group of friends on a reservation. Wasnt initially set up for the amount of people we had called in, but eventually was settled. Food came out pretty quickly and prices are good for what you get. Food was hot and tasted good as well. Service was good overall, but could have been more attentive. Tap to pay available, and was very busy when going, was quite a wait from what it looked like to get a table for dinner

Will not return , we went for a family dinner , family hadn t been together in 3 years . I ordered a spinach dip for the table . We ended up having a decent amount of dip left so I asked for extra bread . Server said no problem , we then waited quite some time for the bread , to the point where someone said I thought you ordered more bread Main meals came . They were good, no issues apart from a forgotten gravy. Service was good , he did a decent job attending to an 8pax table , when bills came along was when it went sour I check my bill ,the extra bread for the spinach dip was almost $12.00! Not once did he mention there was an extra cost ( not that I would have minded ) but you d expect $3-$5.00 max , I spoke up and asked why it was so expensive and was pretty much told thats just the way it is , he offered to go talk to the manager . I checked the menu and saw they had actually charged for a whole other appetizer, but with missing ingredients . The manager also didn t seem To care , gave a 10% discount , figured that would shut us up I guess . This obviously left a sour taste in my mouth , the spinach dip was $13-$14.00 and extra bread needed up being just as much . My father paid his bill with cash, the server took the cash and never offered or returned with change , just ignored the table completely, until we decided to cut our loses and leave , Without any intention of returning Unbelievable

Not only was my server really nice, she made my night! I was so sad the Great White North was off the menu, so I asked if it was true. Instead of just shutting me down, she said let me see if we can still make it. This girl was new too! Exceptional customer service! I wanted to give her more than 25%, but work was paying.

We were a mixed group of ages and went as 2 families. We ordered from the childrens and main menus and everyone was happy with their food. The childrens meals were a good size. The food was really well cooked and served really quickly. The service was friendly and fast.

My boss ordered pizza for us at work at 11am through Uber Eats. They estimated it would be there at 12:05pm. By 12:30 I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager who said it would be here at 12:30. I mentioned it was 12:30. He said oh okay. Well 1 oclock. Were waiting for a delivery driver. On the Uber app it said this restaurant handles its own delivery. The manager said that they dont. I asked if Uber Eats knew that. He said it should be here by 1. At 1:30 I called and the manager said he doesnt know whats going on. He was VERY rude and expected me to come up with my own solution. He said I dont know what you want me to do. He said they were waiting for a driver, I told him there isnt one coming because Uber thinks they do their own delivery. He got annoyed and gave me no solutions. I asked if our food was just sitting there getting cold and he said no its on the warmer. I ended up having to pick up the order and it was hardly warm, it was hard and they never offered to reimburse. They didnt even apologize for the delay or confusion. Will not be going back and I know my boss will not either.

Pasta Tuesday is great value

The restaurant smells terrible, like that of a spray used to exterminate bugs or rats. The server denied that they are exterminating. They do not teach hospitality to staff. When we would thank the server, we never got told we were welcome, just that it was no problem. I dont care if it is a problem. When we arrived, we requested a table with four chairs, plenty were available, got seated at a bench seat plus two chairs. Not appropriate for four large adults. The food was good. One server, Lauren, has a disgusting problem twirling her hair and playing with a necklace and her bra.

Creamy mushroom & spinach bake is the best pasta I have ever had there!!!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

Went to BP, which I have not done in some time, but I ordered a small spicy perogy pizza. I enjoyed it as I have before. A friend who joined us asked about it. I was hoping to have a BP Royal pizza, but I discovered that it was no longer listed on the menu. The servers were very nice and helpful. I truly felt like we were important. Parking: It was excellent parking.

Boston Pizza Kanata located in Centrum is a great central location and which has lots of parking. I had a bottle of beer, half-sized caesar salad and my friend and I split a spicy perogy pizza! Awesome. A medium pizza was enough to share and take pieces home for lunch. We sat on the bar side which had great music and the service was excellent

Id like to start by saying that we received excellent service from our waiter Mike, but subpar service from the host who lied about the timing of appy hour. We arrived just before 4:50pm and were informed that app hour was until 4:30pm. We asked our server who informed us that it was still on and provided us with a menu. Its frankly unethical to provide knowingly false information (which I believe to be the case). I believe our server informed him and he did not come by to apologize for the error. Overall, we have a great time minus being provided with false information. If I come again Ill make sure to ask the server for the menu. We came to Boston Pizza today (Tuesday November 7, 2023)

We were a group of 40+ on a Saturday evening. We were in and out in just over an hour and a half. Great service!!! Our waiter was very friendly and efficient.

It was a meh experience. We were stuffed away in a tight corner, though there were plenty of other seats available. Our server was . The food: underwhelming Chicken ceasar salad shouldnt be complicated but it was bland AF. Chicken Alfredo was so so.

Gluten free bread option for burger and chicken sandwich was actually pretty good. Service was fast and friendly even though it was busy.

Message to Management.... The mens washroom is at the point of being disgusting (dinning)....When the floor is sticky with urine on the floor you know its time for a new Management.... The location needs a major updating. First thing we noticed before even going inside was that the walkway needed some more mulch. The bathroom was gross and sticky. We were seated and the baby chair brought out very promptly which was appreciated. However nobody told our server that we were seated in our section so we waited awhile before anyone came over. The server was very nice, helpful and quick. I got the new honey dill chicken sandwich. It was really tasty however that sauce is way too runny. More like a salad dressing then a sauce. My wife was really disappointed that they took sun dried tomatoes off the menu for pizzas. It was a good enough experience however we wont go back until the building gets an update as its getting quite dingy.

We were sat at our table, we waited 15 minutes before someone came to our table to take our drink orders. When our food arrived to the table our kids bug pasta and fries were cold. Our chicken parm and cactus cuts were not hot either. The vegetables were barely cooked and also not hot. Our server checked on us once after we received our food and did not see him again until we went to the host stand to ask for takeout containers and we happened to cross paths with our server. We got our bill and he took off once more. It was not very busy overall in the restaurant. Including our table there were 4 tables maximum in our section. We will not be returning to this location.

Extremely poor customer service! I placed an order for pick up on BPs website for meat bites. When I got home, I discovered they gave me the wrong flavor. I drove back 10 minutes to get the correct order. When I asked for a refund or discount, I was offered the owners business card and told to contact them because the manager on duty couldnt give a discount or refund. Extremely dissatisfied with the customer service.

Floors were not clean, table was sticky. Lack of maintenance shows. This owner is definitely not interested returning money back into the establishment. Can only imagine what the kitchen looked like based on the restaurant cleanliness.

Ordered FRENCH ONION SOUP and was served ONION SOUP. ($7,99) The BIG DIPPER was a big bun with barely any tough steak on it. I dont mind paying $17.79 for a sandwich & fries but I would appreciate at least $2.00 worth of meat. Never going back.

Alanna is an awesome server! Best customer service Ive had in a very long time. She was fun, friendly, polite, knowledgeable about the menu and super attentive. I will be back soon and Alanna is a big reason why!

Fantastic place

Amazing Service. Javed the owner was the best and extremely welcoming. Was attending a concert at the CTC and the owner personally rushed the food, and brought out the order to our table. Would recommend this BP as your go to place with great service and fantastic food.
