Food was OK but Order was wrong and our order of waffle fries had 2.5 fries. Would have gone back for refund if we didnt have a movie to catch. Would have preferred separate packing as spouses sauces mixed with mine and vice versa. Overall disappointed

The food is always delicious but the 2 ladies making my food last night used the same gloves to sweep the floor, touch their phones, do the dishes, clean the counters and PREPARE MY FOOD .That is very unsanitary and made me not want to eat there.

Hot dogs are good. Cheddar one is very messy. When ordering multiple dogs, they are all put in the same container which is kind of an annoying if different people are eating especially when a topping from one gets on another. Not everybody likes mayo and some are very adverse. Be cautioned to ask for another container to keep it separated. One person in our party didn t get to eat their hot dog, it went in the garbage and we wasted money.

Hole in the wall fast food takeout. Tried their take on corn dogs - certainly unique but I found the flavours a touch odd and I m not sure I d do it again.

Tried here for the first time this afternoon. Not sure what to expect but it sure didn t disappoint! Dogs were fresh and decently priced for the size of each one. My favorite was the sweet potato! Most definitely will be back.

This place is one of my families fav places to go for the munchies, when in doubt always come here. Food is always fresh, everything is made on the spot, sometimes it gets really busy but its worth the wait. The taste is great they have many options and food quality is always on point. If you like hot dogs I would def give it a try, there are also ones with just cheese or even chocolate if you dont eat meat. The restaurant itself does not have seating, there is a place along the glass window where you can stand and eat, however most people take it and either eat outside in there cars or at home. Prices are similar to those of food carts on the streets $6 - 8 per dog depending on how big and what you are getting. I would reccommend giving it a try.

I loved it, especially the white sauce one. Its super delicious, its cheap and they fill you up a lot.

The male individual that works there Monday mornings has zero attitude let alone attention to customer service. I wanted to send a written email because when I did my purchase, I realized my order was wrong when I got home and called the store, they pretended they didnt understand me over the phone and refused to give his name (and again at the store, even when I explained why I wanted it) and then proceeded to hang the phone. After that they did not answer the phone. Drove back, same asking for the name of the person who served me, nothing, the woman (who also refused to use her name but had way better attitude to solve the situation), helped me prepare my correct order or so I thought, they didnt. Thrid time is the charm, bottom line one hour after I had not yet received my order for fast food. Im terribly upset because I love the franchise and the food, but the service is lacking, not Neurodivergent friendly ( I did identify as such in the store).

You have to really love corn dogs and fair food if youre going any higher on a review. Yes, the glutinous rice batter is lighter and some of the rolled on toppings are fun. Quite frankly the sausage itself is nothing special and youre paying a premium for a photogenic rice dog.

Hot dog is superb here! I got half beef and half cheese with potato. Best hot dog i had! I also got fried chicken with spicy sauce. This was NOT good. Sauce was too thick full of corn starch. The portion was really large tho. Get hotdogs! Not chicken!

I really appreciate you adding a Halal chicken hotdog to the menu. However, when I asked the lady at the counter if the Halal chicken or the other vegetarian hotdogs are cooked separately, the answer was no. It was really unfortunate knowing that, The reason behind this is they might get cross contaminated if theyre cooked using the same cooking oil as the pork/meat hotdogs.

their soy garlic fried chicken is so yummy & their waffle fries are soo crispy ! its definitely on the pricier side but i am always happy to buy from here once in a while - the girls in the front have always been nice & friendly & i love knowing they make everything fresh to order <3

Who would have thought such a combination would work so well. I got the sweet potato hot dog with chipotle sauce and garlic butter seasoning. It took 5-10 mins to prepare and came out piping hot It was crisp and fluffy on the outside and for around 7 bucks was great value. One is probably enough but I could have easily had another

This place slaps. Went in not really knowing what to expect and thinking they would be pogo sized so ordered two. Yeah one would have definitely been enough. They are huge and delicious. The cheese is stringy and gooey and the hot dog has a great flavour. The sauces were also very tasty. They were pretty cheap for how big they are and the person at the cash was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be returning because this was such a fun food experience and very good. The corn dogs are a bit overpriced for what they are but I like the Korean fried chicken. I got the garlic soy and it was delicious. Lots of chicken for $18 (small).

Tried the fried chicken and wings and it was the best. Waffle fries tasted like a potato chips as it was very crispy. I hope they keep the fried chicken and wings as a permanent item on the menu because it s the best korean fried chicken we tried around Ottawa.

Rice dogs are so good! Pick your inside (meat and/or cheese) and pick which topping youd like! Once cooked, choose your desired sauces and seasonings or pick from a pre-made combination list. Building is very small; suggest taking food back to home/hotel or eating in the car. Vegetarian options: 1 veggie dog option and a few only cheese options.

Looking forward to coming back and trying their other flavours.

Absolutely love their Korean dogs. Its the best Ive ever had. I absolutely love that they have the veggie dog for us vegetarians! The mozzarella one is great two. Usually I get 1 of each for dinner. I get it with the sweet potato and it hits the craving spot I didnt know I have everytime. When Im in Kanata, its a must stop for me ! They even taste good re-heated! This was SO DELICIOUS. Whoever thought to combine (quality) hot dogs, chicken nuggets and rice flour (hoping it was gluten-free): you did the right thing . Also, thank you for the handwritten note. We loved the dipping sauces, too. 10/10 will absolutely be back and have told our friends they have to try!

Started back in 2019 when I visited Japan and had my first Korean cheese dog. I was beyond excited when Seoul Dog opened up in Ottawa but after multiple visits I was disappointed by their dogs. The dough was never cooked enough and way too much cheese. Also priced very high. Today I went to Chungchun Rice Dog in Kanata and was pleasantly surprised with how accurate to Japan their cheese dogs were! Perfectly cooked and the right amount of cheese and dough. Highly recommended for the right experience visit this place. Well worth the drive. Even my puppy loved the cheese hahaha xox

So much better than seoul dog no cap

This place does 2 things that are very inconvenient. The first is the inability to be able to place an online order for quick pickup. Unfortunately you have to go into the store to order and then wait outside in the freezing cold for them to call you. There should be a way that I can order in advance online and then just quickly go and pick it up when its ready. The second issue is that when you order from them on Uber Eats, youre unable to pick a sauce with your hot dog. Im very surprised that they dont allow you to choose a sauce to come with your hot dog on Uber. Youre basically forced to eat it dry if you order through Uber. There should be sauce options on the app!!!

Rice dogs are more addictive that cocaine! I eat them thrice a week without any hesitation. Awesome food, give me a full foodgasm. Thank you Chungchun for the munchies after Im stoned.

A unique and delicious meal. The staff was helpful in guiding us through our first rice dog experience. Weve since been back and the quality has been consistent, and rice dogs hold up well as leftovers.

Tried the chicken nugget covered rice dog, and the mozzarella rice dog. Got a spicy mayo drizzle. They are quite large and hefty! Its was my first time having a rice dog and it was great! Look forward to going back to try the other kinds! Update: Went back! Got a sweet potato one and a ramen one. So delicious. I really loved the sweet potato. I liked the ramen as well but the crunchy texture wasnt my thing. My partner got the gamsung (regular potato) and it, of course, is amazing. Thanks for the suggestion!

Nice to see something different for the area and very enjoyable. Tried the original, the cheese, ramen, and the chicken nugget with my partner. Menus are easily navigable and visible. I would prefer it if the sauce combination suggestions near the pickup window were more apparent but once you know its there, its fine. Worth a visit if youre in Centrum.

Ordered potato hotdog which is a hotdog wrapped in sticky rice flour batter, coated with breadcrumbs and crispy potato and deep fried. Im not a regular Korean food eater so decided to try it out. It was pretty good and very filling for a snack. Ordered through UberEats buy 1 get 1 free offer. 6.99 + 0.99 delivery fee + 2 service free + 1.30 tax = 11.28 CAD total for 2 hot dogs.

10/10 Definitely recommend. Was so good I finished the mozzarella and beef hotdog with hot sauce in less than a minute. Very tasty and pretty fast. Trying the ramen or potato crust next!

Me and my girlfriend came in to this location for the first time and had a wonderful experience, Daniel the owner took our order and and made us feel very welcomed. Now onto the food which was amazing, we got the volcano dog with frosted flakes, the squid ink dog, and the chicken nugget dog all three were amazing but the volcano was mine and my girlfriends favorite will definitely be coming back to this great spot!

These are good, really good! Had the ramen noodle, regular, and rice cake rice dogs and liked them all. Only took 7 minutes to make and the sauce combinations are all customizable. They come packaged in a neat little box so they dont jumble around if you take them to go.

Cheap ingredients. I ordered the cheddar and hot dog. The cheese tasted exactly like the kraft singles, and the hot dog inside was tasted worst then the cheapest option of hotdogs you could find at a grocery store. I wouldnt go back as the one rice dog costed 6.77$ after tax for about 50 cents or less of ingredients. No thanks

Awful place this place has been changed into 4 different fast food Bran all same owner and bankruptcy the companies without paying his employee his a crook his not even paying contractors after each construction and he kept saying to the people I am not the owner I just work here do not support this gut and location I am Perry sure he will close this brand and open new one again.

The hotdogs were really delicious and I really recommend the half mozzarella with potatoes around. If your craving something crunchy and savoury this is the place to go.

Today I went and tried the new Korean fried chicken in the soy garlic flavour at the kanata Changchun location and it was delicious and amazing. I ve tried their corndogs before and they never disappoint and neither did they re fried chicken. They have great and kind service and I really recommend this Changchun.

If you ask me, $4 for the original hotdog is all you need; add your favourite sauce and powder/sugar to elevate it. The extra $1-3 for a specialty dog doesn t seem to justify the price but to each their own I guess. Chain restaurant, highly processed mystery meat, definitely engineered to taste great . Somewhat reassuring they re still making/rolling the hotdog in the batter and frying it up fresh in plain view.

The value is good; some of the staff can be friendlier... we went when it wasnt too busy and we still felt very rushed and un-helped! I personally didnt think it lived up to the hype but its still very tasty. Dont underestimate the filling power. We cut ours up into little bites to share with friends.

Fun twist of a hot dog. I was so excited to find out they opened a shop in Ottawa (thats not downtown). I never had a chance to try one in Toronto. I was surprised at how big the Rice dogs were. 2 was definitely enough. Loved that there was a variety of sauces and seasonings. They even had cool names for a specific combination of sauces. I had the 6 and 9 with ketchup, sweet mayo and garlic butter. I would definitely try this again.

Ordered three hot dogs using ubereats app for a pick up. Drove 20 min to pick it up to find out that I was discretely charged extra per hot dog just for using the ap. I would have ordered by phone had the message about the different price on the app been clear.

Very nice and original. More savoury choices than the sweet. I really like to top the savoury choices with sugar. Just Korean style hotdog is not a food I usually like, but if you do like it I believe you will be satisfied here. It is usual to have a line up for maybe 10-20 mins, so be prepared haha.

Yes please. I had the Volcano Dog and was hoping for more of a kick but then again I m used to Korean food (which tends to be spicier) it was a hot dog with jalapeño and cheese stuffed in it so if you can handle jalapeños then definitely give it a try. They are 100% comparable to how you would get it in Korea so thank you for bringing this to Ottawa!

So, I ve had generally good experiences but today I had a nice plastic wrapper for cheese in my dog. The plastic didn t taste very good. Edit: returned and was given replacement hot dogs. Great service

I came here twice so far. The hotdogs are pretty good. I like the jumbo hotdogs. I think its worth a stop when driving by Kanata. Im disappointed they removed the ability to pay with Amex from their machines though since I was able to use it the first time I came a few weeks ago.
