The food was underwhelming (most of the food we ordered was overly salted). The service was minimal. Server didnt get parts of our order right & didnt check after our order arrived. Took forever to get her attention to ask for more water after the 1st carafe we were offered ran out. Music was extremely loud, my dining partners and I had to shout to hear each other which made the whole experience unpleasant.

Andre s service and recommendations were all perfect. Everything we ate was incredible! Vegetarian options: I love that there are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options.

I was impressed with how attentive they were to food allergies and sensitivities and the creativity of the chef and manager to create a decent meal. Many other places would just dismiss the food allergies and say we cant help you.

This restaurant has an awesome buzzing atmosphere. We went with friends on a Thursday for dinner and the service was excellent. Every meal ordered was beyond delicious. I had the chipotle mango chicken dish and a sangria. The seating is 2 level and I noticed an outside seating area as well for warm days. All I can say is I cant wait to go back!! Vegetarian options: Many options and my friend enjoyed the beyond meat burger.

We ve been here twice and enjoyed our food both times. The first time we had the Blackened Mahi Mahi, which was delicious, and the New York. The second time we had the Salmon and the Rib Eye, both tasted fantastic.

All the hostesses are very kind and welcoming. Servers are energetic and very attentive as well! The Lounge is pretty modern and has beautiful decor/lighting. Food is pretty tasty, but be aware it is slightly expensive, so make sure youre in a good place financially before you go! Great place for dates, anniversaries, birthdays, or work gatherings :)

I cant say enough nice things about this restaurant. I was in the area for business and stopped here for dinner. I ordered the mahi mahi fish entree and it was arguably one of the best meals of my life. The service is very quick, professional and outstanding. What impressed me the most was the attention and care they take when preparing and serving meals for gluten-free (GF) diners like me. They can prepare must dishes GF upon request. Seldom have I witnessed such attention to detail with precautions taken. The GF cheesecake dessert was something to die for. I want to travel back to Kanata merely to dine at this location. Okay but very expensive food.

Went in yesterday with my mom for lunch, unfortunately her plate came out very salty but the waitress replaced her place almost instantly and the manager took it off the bill. Mistakes happen in the kitchen it s about how a restaurant deals with it and now a days where every places dime and nickels you I was please with the managements service. Things like this that will make you go back to a restaurant!! Thank you!! 100% will be back!

We went to Moxies tonight for our first time and it was such a wonderful experience. Megan our waitress took our orders and while they came beautifully prepared they weren t very hot. She happily took them back and had them remade. They came back excellent. All I can is that the service and food was top notch. Great atmosphere. Went above and beyond to satisfy us , and we will definitely be returning to this location. Thanks for a wonderful anniversary meal

My aunt and I frequent this location often, and the staff is always exceptional! This particular lunch outing Douglas C was our server and he was kind and friendly, and Dave the Supervisor ( I think) made sure that everything was perfect from beginning to end, always greeting us with a smile, and going the extra mile to provide exceptional service. Great location with its proximity to the highway, recreational centres, malls and the Canadian Tire Centre. On this occasion we ordered the nachos, blackened mahi mahi and lemon basil salmon; all of which were delicious. Douglas, our waiter, was attentive and polite. Dave, the manager on duty, was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our lunch and we will be back- thank you for the great service!

Love this restaurant and the chicken Thai salad was amazing!

Went as a group of 14, didn t realize it was a sports bar and couldn t get different seats to be out of the bar/tv area. The Caesar salad contained croutons which I had asked to be left out and the Boston chowder was so salty, I couldn t eat it, though it was taken off the bill. All said, would I go again .I don t think so. Too bad, it had potential.

Bad service. Have been seated for around 15 mins without any sort of service. They just decided to give us our table and ignore us.

Moxie Kanata is getting as bad as Vancouver with almost 30 plus violation from cold food served , salty food .dirty cutlery, dirty glasses for water and vin ,dirty washroom with no hot water . Kanata Moxie should present his green Dine in safe certificate at the entrance. People watch out and be safe .

Moxies has become an anniversary tradition for my boyfriend and I. Every time we go, the food is served hot, tastes delicious, and the service was great! Also, try the mocktails if you dont drink because they were also tasty!

Food was bland and tasteless, the half a steak they gave my wife was cooked perfectly and was very good. The burgers were nothing special rather tasteless. The gin and lemon lime were terrible ( we didn t drink them ) however the fries were the best I ve ever tasted

Some of the most beautiful wait staff Ive ever seen. Its very loud so conversation is difficult and so busy, the servers are pretty slow to check back.

Waited 20mins at the table and no one came up to ask for drink orders or how we were doing, but helped other people that were seated after us. Poor service and were really looking forward to eating there for Mother s Day. Ridiculous.

Great place for food & Drink.

We opted to sit at the bar area. We were celebrating a friend s bday! It was a little loud but I knew this already as this section is not quiet. Food great! Had the tacos and truffle fries! Good service!

The food is always delicious. I can t handle how loud restaurants are, so I rarely go in to eat anymore, but it s one of my go to when we have a night out

Service was excellent and we got our food in less than 15 minutes even though the restaurant was full.

The atmosphere is that of a sports bar, complete with disco music, so it is not a place to go for a nice couples steak dinner out.

First time going to this location. Restaurant was clean and service was excellent. Menu is typical Moxies. We placed a reservation for Saturday evening, but walk-ins were easily seated. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Loved their food. Wish they didn t fire employees for supporting Palestine. Would have gone there more otherwise.

We went out to celebrate my recent promotion. I was looking forward to an amazing cobb salad but was super disappointed. To make the salad they cut an entire head of iceberg lettuce in half and piled some toppings on top. It was super disappointing. I didnt enjoy having to cut my salad.

Just waited 10 minutes without anyone even looking our way - we went to the bar to try and get the bartenders attention and he completely avoided us. It wasn t busy so that was incredibly disappointing. Food is always super mid, they re just one of the only places open late so we go pretty regularly.. after this we likely won t be back.

Today is a special day for us. As Chinese New Year begins, as busy new parents, we decide to order dishes in Moxie to celebrate. Unfortunately, I made mistakes to pick up in Hunt Club Moxie. The store helped me cancel the order immediately. Then I reordered in Kanata Moxie. Due to meetings, we missed the original reserved pickup time. The gentleman (sorry for forgetting the name) just let us to wait for 10 minutes and remade our order, which was beyond our expectations. Thanks a lot for saving our special day! We will definitely come back to the store on a regular basis. The food is always fresh, delicious and exquisite. Thank you!

Absolutely outstanding Chicken Zen Bowl. Extremely talented chef who out it together, as well great service. Enjoyed the dish so much, I briefly popped into the kitchen door to thank the chef.

I had originally posted a few years back how this location was a 5 Star spot, however after todays experience, that has quickly changed and its entirely based on the lack of customer service skills upon entrance. Id give it a zero star if allowed. Knowing there was a Senators game tonight, we drove from Orleans as early as we could and arrived at Moxies at 4pm. Upon walking we were immediately told when we requested a spot for 2 on the bar side that the entire bar was reserved (even though it nearly entirely empty as we looked in) and that we couldnt be seated there. When telling the host we simply wanted a quick drink and app as we planned on also going to the game and planned on eating there, she repeated that they couldnt accommodate us. Choosing not to find a solution and allowing us to walk away is definitely the last site of us this location will have as we will definitely not be returning and be sure to never suggest or recommend this location to anyone again.

Staff(Tyler, in particular), food, cleanliness all superb the only off part of our evening, and the reason I gave atmosphere a 3 , was the dude in the booth behind us was loud and dropped the eff bomb in every sentence

Stayed there for 2.5 hours and we ate off the appetizer menu all night. Was excellent.

Very friendly staff, good choice of drinks and correct prices, around 35 CAD for a bottle of wine that I shared with other 3 people and a gin tonic. The kind of atmosphere is not my favorite for hanging out (modern, located in a parking lot) but the place could be a good option for watching a sport match (plenty of screens everywhere, even on the urinals, which I loved).

An upmarket chain restaurant that is a well known gem in the heart of Kanata. Who doesnt sometimes want to be guaranteed a delightful experience with friends or partners at a professionally run establishment for a great evening out? The great thing about Moxies in Kanata is its well run management. If you are unhappy with a meal they will happily exchange it at no cost and dutifully dote on your table to ensure you are pleased with the service. It is difficult to find restaurants that so reliably provide a consistent service in this day and age. The food is also mostly excellent and very easy to please any crowd. There is a reason Moxies is so popular in Kanata and if you havent been then you have certainly missed out. Its a well known among the locals and frequently frequented for business lunches due to its consistency, fair pricing and convenient location. Everyone should try it at least once. I have certainly dined at worse and it is a refreshing experience to be reminded there are still some well run locations about. 5/5 in its class.

We wemt on New Years Eve, the menu was a little pricey, the steak choice was tough how they cooked it, but the salmon was delicious! The appetizers were also delish A couple eating from a set menu and 3 drinks will cost you with tips about $250, so bring some cash, lol

I tried three different dishes and all was so tasty. They were perfect. Steak was juicy amd well done. Rubs was well cooked with the tasty bbq sauce. Wow! My server David was THE BEST! Very funny and he knew exactly what I needed before I knew I needed it. He was telling me how he wants to go to Florida to finish is commercial pilot licence; and work for moxies while there. Beef tenderloin is aged 32 days and is triple A grade. Some of the best beef I have ever had. Parking: Box store parking with hundreds of spots.

I am giving a 1 star because in Google search it shows they open at 11am. Our reservations were for noon. We got there at about 11:45. They did not let us at least stand in the entrance on this cold and wet day of Dec 3rd. Not happy. They lost a reservation for 9 people. Be prepared to stand outside, rain or snow.
