One of the best and trusted shawarma joints in Kanata/stittsville area. The establishment is kept very clean for in dining. They have quite a few options other than regular shawarma such as saj sandwich, tortilla wraps, greek souvlaki which is awesome. While most shawarma places are quite identical, what sets them apart is the quality of their chicken ( i normally request them to give me well done pieces and they broil it just a little bit extra to give that color and texture) their salad dressing just makes their salad absolutely delish. it is sort of like zatar and olive oil mix which is healthy and tasty. Then, their falafal - has to be the best. Made fresh every single time you order. Most other places will microwave it but Shawarma master will actually make the balls and fry it for you. It is a must try. I feel their portion sizes could be slightly improved specially for take away.

Freshest shawarma in Kanata!

Stopped by the tonight for a chicken shawarma. Asked for all the ingredients (lettuce, onion, cabbage, turnip, tomatoes, hot peppers, etc) and had nothing but lettuce on it. Other sandwich was super stingy on the toppings as well. The prices are decent, but you will not get a sandwich that is worth it.

The most *consistently* good shawarma in Ottawa. No question about it. I usually avoid beef options as I find them typically too tough for sandwiches and pull out when eating, but the beef here is quite the opposite. Highly recommend. Also the pita chips are incredibly addicting. Highly recommend the basil seed drinks too.

Can i give 0 star ? I was there today when i entered the store it smells disgusting nothing about it smells like shawarma i myself have worked in a shawarma place i find nothing there that links to a shawarma. For more than 5 minutes nobody even bothered to greet me and their chicken had no taste it seems like it was a total raw meat (without any seasoning) and even their poutine gravy feels like cough syrup.

Today I walked in late afternoon, I havent had shawarma in years so I accidentally ordered a platter instead of a shawarma wrap. As soon as the guy was putting the first veggies on the lettuce I said oh sorry, I meant a shawarma wrap, but thats ok without hesitation he said he would make the shawarma and only charge me for the combo. - even though it was my fault. Most restaurants /shops resist correcting anything even if its the clerks/cooks fault so this was refreshing and not even expected. The food was delicious, the service was great and the restaurant was extremely clean. Ill absolutely be back. Thanks guys!

The chicken put me in the hospital. It made me terribly sick because it was outdated. MAR.7TH,2023.

We ordered from this place last night through Uber eats. I ordered a veggie shawarma and my partner ordered a chicken shawarma. Today my partner is violently sick with food poisoning. Either they arent cooking their meats properly, they are expired or being improperly stored or all of the above! We will NEVER order from here again and will urge others to do the same for the sake of their health!

We just picked up some saj shawarma for Ramadan and it was absolutely delicious! Not to mention how unbelievably generous and kind they were. It was all amazing but they could cook their fries just a touch more to be perfect!

The shawarma I received was just not good. I usually dont leave bad reviews but the food was just bad. Chicken tasted funny and the veggies were not fresh and it was soggy

Food was straight up just not good. Chicken was rubber, bread and potatoes werte very stale and dry, not to mention the beef tasted and smelt super funky, enough so I didnt risk eating it. It wasnt cheap either quite expensive for bad shwarma.

ABSOLUTE TRASH FOOD! We ordered from uber eats for the first time and the food is not even edible. Got the chicken shawarma poutine, mixed platter and garlic potatoes. Chicken is extremely dry and smells funny, garlic sauce had a weird tangy taste (never knew garlic sauce can be this bad) and beef tasted really strange. Nothing seemed fresh and this place is more expensive than other shawarma places, no idea how they are still in business when there are so many amazing shawarma places in Ottawa. They also forgot to add any utensils in the packet despite requesting it. Never ordering again & I would have given negative stars if i could. Complete waste of money!

Best shawarma in town!! I have tried many places before but shawarma master is the best . The taste and the quality of good are just amazing with a good quality of products. Plus , the restaurants has many tables where to sit which is great for dine in and lunch.

Ignored for mobile orders as the literal only customer in store, while two teenage employees who clearly hate their jobs stare at screen and dont say a word to me for over 5 minutes.I dont know if the food is any good do to the lack of service but I wont be wasting my time trying this place again and neither should you. What a joke.

We live close by and have been supporting our local restaurants, more so since the pandemic started. Love the food at Shawarma Master. We have some food intolerance and one vegan in the family and this restaurant pleases everyone! My only recommendation would be to thin out the Fatoush dressing. Its very thick, not enough oil... it has been like that the last few visits and we enjoy the salad with our sandwiches. I thought the Fatoush dressing was vegan, being a vinaigrette, but the guy didnt know for sure. It would be great if the staff would know the ingredients. When it first opened, the guys were very funny!! Not so much anymore; maybe they are newer employees?? Overall, good service and good food.

I ordered 4 family platters for my wifes birthday and it was amazing. So much food and so tasty. You will not be disappointed.

Alright, this is the second time I try it and I was disappointed. Let s start with the fries which obviously are either old or have been fried more than once which can be seen by the color of them. First disappointment. Then, the shawarma, I had the family saj platter which I was excited for. However, second disappointment. To keep it short, beef was really salty which created a downfall of flavors. If only it wasn t that salty AND oh yeah, there was those fries inside the saj..smh. UPDATED May 6th, 2022: Dont know what happened but this place has gone WAY down. My wife was in there a couple weeks ago. Ordered a family platter with extra meat and was charged over $90! The meat was dried out and was the same amount we used to get without the extra meat charge. ------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW: First time today, great food! The chicken in the shawarma was juicy and seasoned well. You can customize the contents of the sandwich and can even add potatoes/fries upon request. The restaurant was clean with friendly staff.

My first good shawarma since 2014. I have tried and been disappointed with every shawarma I had between then and now. My wife told me to give up, stop trying to find good shawarma. But I knew I had to be true to my heart and myself and never give up on my quest. I have found the holy grail of shawarma that is Shawarma Master. I was floored by the deliciousness of their large beef shawarma with the works. When I saw they had pickled cabbage, pickled cucumbers, and pickled turnip, I knew it could deliver. Expertly constructed as the first bite was packed with all of the flavours that I craved. Great structural integrity as well. Will be back next time I am in the Greater Ottawa Area.

This is a chicken shawarma plate that they charge over $20 after taxes. I took this picture right after I opened it without touching anything. The amount of greed from people work at this place is unreal.

Usually ok, but don t place an order online. This is the second time I ve ordered and our platters weren t correct. Both our platters had different items, but when bringing it home and looking at our order, they were made indentical. It s as though they prepare the platters minus the meat and then add the meat to order, disregarding the order details. Order was not accurate. For $20 a platter, not worth it. Their fries have a sauce on it that is not mentioned, and with children, they wouldn t even touch it. Meat this visit had too much sesame sauce on it, but even then, it didn t taste or feel fresh. Maybe order in person to ensure you re getting fresh and accurate meal, but I don t feel like much attention and care is being put into the delivery/take out orders.

Very bad. The staff is very quiet and do not talk much. It s more expensive than shawarma palace and not nearly as good. This shawarma is a 3/10 at best. Potatoes are old and overcooked. Mandatory tip for the restaurant too, and it is not a sit in! Shawarma overall was terrible and way too expensive !

Place was crowded, people seemed to enjoy the food. We had the Falafel plate, which we were no happy with at all. The falafel was bad, the garlic potatoes were dry and had no taste. Would not recommend if you were going there for the Falafel. Only things we liked were the Pita Chips and Hummus.

I currently just placed an Uber Eats delivery and when I got my meal it was the complete wrong order. I simply asked for a chicken shawarma with garlic sauce only. Every ingredient in their kitchen was placed onto it. They couldn t even get the drink correct.

Just AMAZING! This is our familys new favorite Shawarma place in Ottawa. Great food, amazing portion sizes, and they do not skip out on the garlic sauce or substitute the pickled turnips! The prices are very reasonable for the quantity that you get with the family meals. You get one big tray and one small tray with a full variety of vegies and pickled favorites. This is usually sufficient quantity to last our 5-person family for 2 days. The beef/lamb is well marinaded , very tender and not stringy like others. The only issue is that it usually sells out early. The chicken is well done and not dry. The pickles are great and not too salty. This is also clearly more sanitary than many other places sampled. We used to go the Shawarma Palace all the time, but they are now expensive, the quality got worst, and they are not as friendly anymore.

Just started working in Kanata, and I ve found a new lunch spot. I am not easy to please when it comes to shawarma, and Shawarma Master is great. Large portion sizes, all sauces and dips are delicious, generous with the fresh veg and salad, tasty dressing too.

Probably the best shawarma I ve had lately in Ottawa. Chicken shawarma was so flavourful and perfectly cooked. The garlic sauce is a great consistency and taste. The vegetables are super fresh. And the service was good too.

Portions are huge but the quality just isnt there. Beef is always dry and chewy, chicken is very dry too. They seem to have a high turnover so Im not sure why the meat is sub par like that but its really not enjoyable.

Im crazy critical when it comes to shawrama. and they are at the Top 5 Ive had in Otrawa area and surroundings Fresh veggies, juicy chicken, good potatoes and great garlic. Clean place and friendly faces. Fairly priced aswell. I will be hmback 100% when Im working in that area.

I normally don t write reviews but this hidden gem compelled me to write one. Me and my friend tried the Jumbo twin combo. The platter was absolutely delicious. The chicken was properly cooked. The amount of salt in potatoes was just perfect. Portion size exceeded my expectations. To be honest, I couldn t finish my platter. Staff was amazing. The lighting and the background music was adding another level to the whole experience. I honestly didn t except this place to be this good. Would highly recommend this place if anyone wants to try authentic shawarma in Kanata.
