Great food, fast service.

Very good. Large amount!

Sandwich was not cheap but very large and very tasty. All ingredients were fresh, meat was nicely spiced and the secret sauce was tasty (and not at all like the horrible Halifax Donair abomination). Next time I may try the salad bowl version.

Wolfdown Just like the downtown location.. the total experience was on point and worthy of the 5 stars. Very excited to have a location closer to me. Will be back for sure! Thanks

Not what I expected in a donair. Pricey 17.00

I was very dissapointed with my chicken bowl. They put way too much sauce in the bowl and it actually ruined everything for me. Maybe go a lot lighter on the sauce. The side of red spicy sauce I got with my dish was very good. If i go back I will probably say no main sauce in the bowl just a side of the red sauce.

Good sandwich, looked very similar to the one advertised

Food is ok for Ottawa. Portion size is also good. However, meat was cold. They did use meat from the container at the side of the doner shelf. So they did not put fresh meat. They trim and put it in a container. Could not get the point exactly. Hopefully it was not the remaining doner from last night. Overall experience was below ok. Will not come back!

Really delicious and pretty great staff. Their menu isnt really big, but what they specialise in is fantastic. You can dine-in; but its like eating at a Subway. Nothing wrong, but not a waiter style restaurant if thats what you were expecting.

Best halal doner ever - the in house bread and secret sauce is what makes the sandwich so special. Now let me say, I m a huge wolf down fan so this review hurts me to write. I loved the location on bank st and was excited when they opened in Kanata as that s my end of town. Ordered a chicken sandwich with everything, went to pay cash and that was not accepted so I m not a big fan of that, also noticed that they had the rotisserie s for all the meats but they were not being used, the meat came out of a container on the counter. The chicken tasted like it was cooked last week, it was super dry and not flavourful. I m not sure what was going on but definitely not impressed Kanata. Get your s together.

Such an amazing place we have in Kanata. If you like German food this is the place to be, amazing atmosphere, customer service and the food is to die for. Very clean, good aesthetic, amazing service. 5/5 from me!

A German donair who knew! The Wolf Down location we visited in Kanata is tucked away in one of the many Kanata malls. I had the beef sandwich with special sauce which comes stuffed into a panini style flat bread. The quantity of the sandwich s contents seemed impossibly stuffed in to the flat bread but was in the end, amazingly easy to eat. The taste and flavours were excellent, and we all literally wolfed the food down. Definitely worth the drive to Kanata or their other more centrally located outlet.

Wow! The donair sandwich I had was absolutely divine. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the meat was tender and the sauce was out of this world. I dare say no other restaurant can even come close to competing with this masterpiece

Simple menu, phenomenal product! Could not ask for more. Portion is great, thin bread loaded with tons of veggies and protein (very healthy portion). Simple food done well. I was excited to have a European style kebab house open in Kanata and it didn t disappoint, the meat is cooked on a spit and loaded into charred focaccia bread, salad or rice with toppings of your choice. Add secret or spicy sauce, or both of course and enjoy. Doner kebabs from my youth - delicious!

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection the service also was impeccable from start to finish. Highly recommended! Bravo !

The food was ok, not amazing at all but just ok. They dont accept cash money and dont offer printed receip, i dont even think that it is legal here in Canada... I went there once and dont plan to go back.

Updating my previous 3-star review to 5-stars after they knocked it out of the park on my second visit. I had the chicken sandwich which was soooo delicious and quite filling. The staff were also very kind and welcomed us with smiles, and took great care in fulfilling our orders (group of 4). Only hiccup was that by the time we went for supper, 7pm ish, they had run out of tofu. Still, I would definitely come back and highly recommend an in-person visit here. Old review: Order from Uber Eats so I cant speak to the service or atmosphere at the Kanata location, but I was surprisingly and unfortunately pretty disappointed by the food compared to my experience at the Bank St location. We ordered the chicken and beef sandwiches and neither were wow as the meats lacked flavour and the whole thing was generally bland, even with the special and spicy sauce in it. My sister also had the tofu version, which she said was overcooked and stale. Maybe its just cause this is a new location and they havent quite nailed the process yet, so I will give it another try in a couple of weeks, hoping for better results! I really want this to be good.

Ordered online for pickup. Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and a beef bowl. The food lives up to the name because that s exactly what we did! Food quality was excellent. The bread that s used in for the sandwiches is sooo good. Can t wait to go again. Welcome to Kanata!

This will be one of the BEST SANDWICHES IN TOWN! Proven by downtown store as well! We have had food from the DT store many time and was waiting for one to open! It was soooo good! Their spicy sauce is amazing too. LOVE THE FOOD LOVE THE SERVICE!!

Im a big german doner fan. I have tried the german doner kebab place on Elgin St and was impressed. Was excited to get a doner place in our neighbourhood and tried it today. Unfortunetly I was not impressed with the beef sandwiches I ordered here. Seemed alot smaller than the one I had downtown and very skimpy on the meat...also lacked sauce. Just not the value I was expecting. Will try them again in case this was an anomoly...but if things dont improve for next time lll have to look elsewhere for my doner fix...luckily Ottawa has some other choices and also many Shawarma places that offer better value.

We are addicted to the wolf down at downtown location. And we immediately felt hungry once we saw the sign in this kanata location : We are open! They did not disappoint us and we got the same quality and service as in downtown. I recommend everyone who love Turkish/German doner. And if you ate shawarma all of your life, you will regret it once you taste the doner. Vegetarian options: Tofu doner

Wow! Its a very different kind of sandwich! Definitely happy we tried a chicken, beef, and tofu option. While we liked beef best, the tofu is a very respectable vegetarian option. Vegetarian options: The edges of the tofu were a little chewy, but it had a great flavour.

I am a fan of the Wolf Down downtown. Since finding out they are opening a location in Kanata, I was so excited to try the new location (and yay closer to home!) Excellent eats, as expected. The staff are very welcoming. Can t wait to bring friends and family to eat here! Vegetarian options: The tofu are so crispy and delicious. An absolute fan of the tofu, whatever spices they put on them is truly addictive!!

I first discovered and fell in love with German-style donair when traveling through Europe and always wished I could find it in Ottawa. Not only has Wolf Down listened but they have also opened their newest location right in my neighbourhood! The menu is simple but the ingredients are high quality and extremely tasty. My order included sandwiches and salad with chicken and tofu. All were delicious and filling. The secret sauce is tasty but next time Im planning to try the spicy sauce to compare. Wolf Down is a great addition to Kanata Lakes. Vegetarian options: Tofu Dietary restrictions: Chicken is gluten free but beef is not.
