I’m not excited to eat it as the servers are not wearing hairnets and the cashier is audibly swallowing loogies and RIPPING OFF HIS OWN NAILS TO THROW IN THE TRASH….servers were nice but 2 stars for hygiene. Update; tried the wrap it was soggy and unsatisfying :/
Would have been nice if he had changed gloves before making our veg subway. Not coming again Ohh wait. I asked him if we have to ask for gloves change or do you guys usually change before making veg subway if you had made previous subway using meat. His answer , I don’t know. Awesome
Very crowded but the servers are quite efficient. They know what they are doing. They will also tell you avocado is extra is you pick it. Mind you there are classic deals and build your own. They will push for the classic series and they are around $4 more. I have the cold cuts and I don’t like the way they roll all the meat together like a hot dog. It’s always healthier to go for subway. The deal is also good. I’ll return to this restaurant for sure.
Well, I won’t be going back here anytime soon! Went at 7:30am after double checking what time they open. Door was still locked at 7:30 but the guy working unlocked it and let me in when he saw me. The first thing he said was that he wasn’t sure what time the store opened (?) so I told him the sign says 7:30. He agreed and turned on the open sign. Then he tells me that he has absolutely no bread and it will be at least 30 min before he can make a sandwich. No veggies or anything were out either. I obviously left and he locked the door and turned off the open sign behind me. So despite what their sign says I guess they don’t actually open at 7:30. Should I expect not to be able to get a sandwich at subway for at least 30 min after they open? Is that standard? The guy even mentioned he was there at 7 this morning. If you were there at 7 shouldn’t bread be made then? And veggies and stuff put out? If a store can’t respect their own hours then I’ll take my business elsewhere
I went there at 5:20 pm on January 7th, 2020. The sandwich artists working there do cont comply so standard of subway I.e hair net. The sandwich prepared was just a walk-around, no proper garnishing of vegetables. The lady who prepared my sandwich just threw the handful of olives on the centre of the sandwich. Additionally there were only 3 people ahead of me in the queue, still I got my sandwich prepared and billed at 5:48 pm, that’s 28 minutes just to wait in queue on your 30 mins supper break. The delay was just because of the frequency of online orders from SkipTheDishes. The lady kept on accepting all the orders straight away and would end up them in between of the queue. Even though there were only 4 of us (Customers) she prepared atleast 7 sandwiches by accepting the orders and ending up delaying us. When I asked her to accept the order but to increase the preparation time, she replied that the owner has strictly denied on that as he loses money. So what about the customers who spend their break time in the queue ?
Best Subway location in town. Always clean and tidy, fridges stocked, and friendly staff. My personal favorite Subway, I'll go out of my way to come to this location if I've got a hankering for a sub. This locations been around since I was a kid and has some great wall decorations to look at, as well as a large seating area.

Shoutout to the Hazeldean location for putting the absolute least amount of meat and toppings in my sub. I always wanted an overpriced bread stick.
Ordered a salad rice bowl. When open the lid back home, found there s no rice and no chicken, only a little of chopped turkey. I think the staff at this restaurant is extremely random in their food preparation and Im sure its not Canadian style service.
Depressed employees and they dont care about there job. Some of the employees just play music in there earbuds while serving customers. Shortage of bread everytime at night. Slowest sub makers in Ottawa Update now they close before closing time. 8 25pm on a Saturday and there sign says 9pm
Subway is no longer offering lettuce on their sub? Thats a shame, my price wasnt reduced and they didnt compensate with other veggies, I left with a thin sub. Im not sure if this will be on going or temporary only.
They charge you for the paper bag you put the sub in
Its a Subway. Not really a healthy choice if you know much about nutrition but it works when in a hurry. With subs costing around $15 now it would be nice if they gave up on the new menu (you cant choose what you get on your subs unless you order the boring DIY stuff).
This is the second time I have been to this subway, both times staff have been rude, cold and down right not happy. Try the subway in the centrum mall, great service and great attitude!
Uber order and requested for toasted wrap. Received cold wrap. So disappointed. You pay extra and no attention is paid to the order.
I placed my order through uber eats many times I get a sad, pathetic sandwich that has more meat than veggies; I spoke to management they told me to add a comment to ask for more veggies, well the app doesnt have additional comments section on this specific store to accommodate my request, so I call the store, and instead of being accommodating I get the staff speaking a different language and Im not supposed to be upset that this si is rude when dealing with customers. I asked for it to stop as I dont speak the language, and its not helping the situation. Result in, no sandwich can be made with more veggies as Subway states this is the new protocol, and my order was cancelled.

Lunch can get very busy! Seems like Uber and all the other apps get priority over the actual customers standing in front of them!

Ordered 2 all dressed (with pickles) steak and cheese, and 1 steak and cheese with NO pickles. They gave us 2 all dressed steak and cheeses (with pickles), and 1 all dressed turkey sub (with pickles). Very disappointed.

Truly awful. I get 30 min lunch breaks at work, there was litteraly 1 customer in front of me, it took them over 15 minutes to tell me one more minute Ill be right with you which was an obvious lie as they had already started making more sandwiches for online orders. I had to leave shortly after since my break was coming to an end. No considerations at all for in store customers, this place is juste a sandwich factory for online orders. Dont waste your time going there in person I know I wont be returning.
Came in for a meatball sub, now only serving a meatless meatball sub. Was asked if wanted to try so I did. Sandwich wasnt bad just didnt like that it was double the cost of the original meatball sub and I only found out at the cash because I wasnt told that it was more expensive and also I didnt look at the new menu to see the price. Staff was irritable maybe because they were having a rough day or it could be from the radio making a constant crackling noise that was even getting to me on my short visit. All and all the sandwhich was made well, but the other factors are why I feel that I had a bad experience.
This is the third time this same girl (who was working at 10pm Thursday January 9th 2020) that she was incredibly rude and showed no care for customer service. I work in the fast food industry and I would never treat a customer with such attitude nor would I ever let her let her work for me.
Do not waste your time at this location if you are in any type of hurry. They will blatantly prioritize Skip the dishes orders and make people in store wait 10 mins plus for this. Be advised; it will be faster for you to order skip. And they will treat you better than showing up at the store front. Ive heard employees comment the ownership doesnt care about the customer. Wrote this while waiting in line on Skip orders.
Came here 30 minutes before they closed to be greeted by a Ill be back sign tapped on the window. Couldnt just wait until close? Subs here are also always poorly made and rushed. *Update: The owner calls me a liar and thinks ive never been to this Subway yet an employee actually did this 30 minutes before they closed. Why would i lie about this? Will never give this business another dime.Id rate 0 if i could.

Had to read some reviews to understand that Im not the only one who feels your staff are not invested in your establishment, no smiling,no personality, no greeting the customer,the 3 tattooed women are very rude and lack customer service skills.no wonder the place is never busy.you should apply to.uncoverboss,then you could see first hand how unwelcoming your employees are.you need to re evaluate your daytime staff.
The franchise and general manager are super nice and were more then happy to help when there was a botch in my app order. Was hardly their fault since it was an app side problem but they accommodated me and made me feel like my order was important. Great service and as always great subs.
Perfect, this is the best subway ever! I tried multiple subways but none of them is comparable to this one.
My brother in law went in this location today at lunch time. He had chemo last year and as a result has some hearing loss. He couldnt hear the girl who was working behind her mask. ( I understand why she is wearing one, this is not where the issues lays). He kept asking her to repeat herself and she was very condescending towards him. He had to lean in to hear her speak and she began to laugh at him. He felt very offended. Also, his sandwich was done and he was waiting to move ahead as there were still customers paying and he was trying to protect the social distancing rules enforced in most places, she very rudely asked Are you getting another sandwich orrrrr?? He told her he was waiting to move ahead so he doesnt risk getting to close to the other customers.

Ive been to this place three times over last two weeks. Today being the worst; it is very hard for them to put proper amount of vegetables in on the subs. The person making the sub, couldnt even put enough lettuce to cover the sub. When I asked for hot peppers, onions and green peppers, he was putting 3 piece of each. 3 onions?? I had to ask him to add more of each of those things. I was at a loss for words, because I have never ever seen someone so stingy about veggies at subway. It doesnt seem like a one off thing at this location; either the employees are trained improperly or they have been instructed to do so purposely. Just a shame and a frustrating experience.

Today, (Thursday, March 21 2019) I had quite possibly the best experience Ive ever had at any Subway. Surprisingly not because of anything special that happened, or anything else out of the ordinary. Today was a great experience because the lovely lady and gentleman behind the counter were just a treat to deal with. Polite, effective, and efficient. I watched my sub get assembled with actual care, the cold cut slices neatly folded and placed in an orderly fashion (and just as quickly as someone half-assedly throwing them on), the cheese triangles laid in opposite directions so they cover the whole sandwich. Even the veggies were done perfectly, nice even spread and the right amount (first time I didnt have to ask for more green olives at least once!) Being so used to finding bored and miserable high schoolers earning minimum wage working these kinds of jobs, its unreal how the perception of the experience can go from completely unremarkable to memorable enough to get someone writing a review about how great it was. I went in with overwhelming stress and anxiety, burnt out and just wanting a foot of food to bring home. I was most definitely not expecting the level of friendly and attentive service delivered, and within just a couple minutes I was going out the door with a genuine smile on my face. So thank you to both the lovely staff that were working this evening around 7:30PM, and also thank you to the management of that location for caring enough strive for a better level of customer experience. This is just one little review, but I believe its important to do whatever we can to reward those who make the effort to do things better.

Went in today at 8:50 to be told they had only flat bread, when they had trays of fully made bread behind them. They were more concerned if they had already divided their tips. I really don t know what the inconvenience would be to cut the bread and prepare a sandwich, mind you the sign says they close at 11pm. Good luck keeping business if that s how you are running your operation!

Whoever has been closing on Tuesday nights is doing a terrible job. Subway is already a mediocre experience and this kid is making it so much worse. He outright told my boyfriend and I how much he hates working there. He throws the ingredients on the bread making it a sloppy mess to eat later. Please reconsider this employee. The other people there are much nicer to deal with.

Okay service, but it would be much better if they finished one persons order before moving on to the next. I was first in line and having started my order she moved on to starting the next persons order (and they were slow and indecisive). Having finally moved on to getting the toppings on I had to then wait again to pay whilst she worked on the orders for others down the line. Finish the first in line before starting the 4th and 5th person in line. Took a lot longer than it should have.

I entered in the restaurant on Friday night around 10.48 and employee named David told me they are closed but after I asked your timings is till 11 then he said today we are closing early. Worst customer service ever on subway I will never waste my time to go there again
I visited this place Monday night at 10:58 PM. The store was about to close.. but the guy let me in and served me .. I guess his name was David.. amazing hospitality

At 7:30pm there was only one individual taking orders by themselves. 7 people ahead of me and I left. Stood there for 10 minutes and gave up. 4 people were still ahead of me. Might give another chance in the late future. Who only has one staff member on the line at 7:30pm?!

First server was lovely! The second server skimped out on every topping and got offended when I asked for more. Man who rung us through was very rude after messing up the total. We were nothing but kind to them and got treated very rudely. Won t be returning.
