Dingy establishment with poor service and overpriced below average food that asks for a TIP! I won’t be back here.
This review comes from an Uber eats order I made. Heres what i ordered: Pad Thai, shrimp; "very" spicy and "extra sauce". And, it's what I got. I'd say the spice level on their most spicy option is like a medium spice, just FYI. For me, it's perfect as it doesn't take away from the eating experience, it's spicy but, you get the full flavor of the sauce and it's delicious. Loved what I got. Thank you to the team!
The guy working inside is in his own call not taking care of customer. On call laughing and romaing without acknowledging the order. Rude and customer service is horrible. Behaved like he is supreme
Got half bowl of soup for full price. Worst service. Waste of money!
The food was excellent and the ambience is fancy. The service couldn't be more on top of the table. Spiciness on my meal was the exact spice I want. Thank you thai express team. You guys rock!
I am restaurant owner myself and feel The owner should know ,The staff here seem miserable and don’t want to be there especially the Indian guy , I order a beef thai soup , he actually gave me a chicken instead , when I let him know just gave me a bag with beef in it to add to the soup , I was the only customer and I ask to dine in gave me the soup like in the picture all the garnish and chicken is on bottle ,, the asian dude was on break so not sure if he the one that was sopose to make it normally or not, this prob turned me off from all thai expresses in the future good luck to them but if this is how there franchises run I would short there stock.
New location. Friendly staff. Food was similar to other location but they seem to hold back on dips, No chopsticks etc.
Ordered Pad Thai using ubereats. The food containers were very cute. The food was good but a little too greasy.

We orders two basil beef fried rice this afternoon because we working nearby, after 10minutes finishing the food, both of us had serious stomachaches and diarrhea. Never back again
We were charged a $2.99 convenience fee for an online order which is ridiculous. We will no longer order from this establishment!

Best thai express in kanata. Theyve got friendly staff. Eventhough at busy time they manage to prepare food as fast as possible. Will visit again sooner
Always a wait, even when you order online ahead of time. Only one cook was working the few times I went there, so several people were waiting. The location on Terry Fox is way more efficient and quick (more staff, with always 2 cooks during lunch time).
This location in particular sucks .. they somehow mess up the taste and are inconsistent in flavour as well. Service is good but that doesn t make up for the aweful quality

Brutal. It wasn t that bad that they messed up the order, but .we ordered two chicken pad Thai s Noodles are mushy, vegetables are undercooked, the chicken is rubbery and they really shorted us on the amount of food compared to other locations. Just brutal

Evident that the chain is relatively new. Staff seems severely inexperience, food quality was very sub-par compared to other locations, and multiple errors were made with my order. The gentleman behind me was also rather taken aback about being given his noodles in a plastic bag, separate from his soup/broth, and told to mix the two. Maybe time will help.

Super good looking place. Unfortunately, food has yet to catch up to the quality of the Terry fox location. The quantity was good but the flavor was not up to expectation. I ordered a shrimp fried rice basil spicy. Usually the color of the rice is a rich dark one but it was light, the spice was medium at best and the flavour was not what I am used to but not bad either. Chop it up to a new location and new staff. Hopefully, with practice and experience, the quality will jump up. Really happy that a north Kanata location opened up.

Good, but I paid $15 for noodles and a small amount of diced chicken no drink. The markup is not necessary. Half the price I paid would make sense, and youd attract much more business.

Excellent customer service
I have been ordering from them very often for past few months using Ubereats and I always love their buy 1 get 1 offer. Every time they provides me with fresh cooked food. I am a bit foody and would mention them to be generous with the portion and guess what, these lovely people always makes sure I dont feel hungry after having one meal. The food tastes great and I can say they cook them fresh always. Even when I ordered food right before their closing time, they made sure they are serving me fresh food. A big Thanks to all those Heroes who are working hard to make these amazing food. You deserve the best when you do the best. Love Thai Express!!!
