A locally owned space for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Check out our fresh, classy, casual menu.
Great new breakfast spot! We don’t do carbs and they were great accommodating this request. Highly recommended.
In memory of my father’s passing every year we go out for lunch and have beef dip. This year we chose Porters. This is a great place with a nice menu! Attached to Copper Brewing so the beer options are great also. Service was excellent and the beef dip was delicious. I had salad with mine and my mom had smashed potatoes. They also have a dog friendly patio! I’m looking forward to coming back to try something else!
This review is only for the classic breakfast as it was a bit over priced and wasn’t very filling or warm maybe it sat out too long. IHOP and Denny’s u would get sausage and pancakes in addition for same price and be full. Other items I am sure are good but the classic breakfast was basic, if I go again I will order something else. They also made me sit in the corner near the doorway to the patio so everytime door opens and closed bunch of cold air was blasting inside towards me and was cold in addition that chair was placed next to a sharp metal corner and I banged my elbow 3x into it when sitting and it hurt.. they should reconsider having seats there.
Really really tasty food. Lots of drink options as well. Quite busy so would recommend reserving ahead for safety. We walked in though and managed to find a spot.
We had a great family brunch at Porter's. The menu is extensive and I was a little spoilt for choice. I opted for the Texas brisket benny which is served on biscuits. Super flavourful but I did find the biscuits a little dry for my taste. My mother-in-law gave the chicken and waffles a 10/10! Everyone enjoyed their meals and coffee, plus we were treated to exceptional service. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
We enjoyed brunch here a few weeks ago. Their mimosas were really good, with guava being a personal favourite of mine. We enjoyed the pork belly bowl and maple miso breakfast ramen. The pork belly bowl was hearty enough so I’d recommend going for something sweet if you’re still feeling peckish after having one of their savoury dishes to start. Staff were very warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
We really enjoyed our brunch at Porters. The menu had a lot of great options for everyone, and the vibes inside were fun. The food was really good but nothing that blew us away - just pretty standard breakfast/brunch food. The coffee was awesome and the beer we got was great as well.
Came to Porter's for Father's Day brunch. Easy online reservation system with follow up notifications. Good menu options! We had the South Carolina Breakfast Bowl, Korean Pork Belly Bowl, and Maple Miso Breakfast Ramen. The ramen was rather salty (likely due to the miso). However, the bowls were great. The pork belly bowl in particular was filling and flavourful. We requested the egg to be a medium, and it was cooked right. The smashed potatoes and spinach were good accompaniments to the protein, and they did give a satisfying amount of pork. Would return! Service was prompt and friendly, and there is ample parking in a lot and on the street. Coffee was topped up without having to ask, which is always a good indication of attentive service, especially during brunch.
My fav breakfast spot! Its great! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free Food : 5/5 |
Lovely spot for brunch!
We had our staff Christmas party here and it did not disappoint! Food was delicious, drinks were amazing, staff was fabulous and the event was set up great. If anyone is looking for a venue to have a get together I would definitely recommend them. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
not worth your time. they have a a super slim menu with no good options, the waffles were overcooked and bland, and my friend got the eggs meal and the portion sizing is unbelievable. the bathroom stinks and is so dark. you d be better off going to any other breakfast place, plus it s overpriced anyways. the service was bad and it took way too long for our group size
Great Eggs Benny - Cosey place & moderatly priced. Will be back.
Had Ukrainian Breakfast Outstanding Definitely coming back to try more of the menu! Food : 5/5
Great brunch spot attached to a local brewery, best of both worlds.
We ate on the patio. So nice and sunny for an October morning We had trouble deciding because everything looks so amazing. What a terrific menu. My daughter had a hotdog that was over the top delicious and a really nice salad. I had the bacon eggs benny and the homemadenness came through in spades!!! I may order a double portion next visit!! Yum
I was super excited to eat here, but honestly, it was pretty disappointing. I ve been here twice now and both times I asked for soft eggs and they were definitely medium, not runny at all. The hollandaise sauce is just missing some thing and it just mostly taste like butter. The bread used for the eggs Benny also just didn t really work with it. It s mushy and weird. Why a biscuit? Also I just wanted avocado, don t know why they basically put guac on it. I also tried some of the pancakes and they were a bit dry. The smashed potatoes are OK but definitely not as good as the potatoes at oeb. The mushroom breakfast bowl was basically the same same issue as the Benny with the hollandaise
I recently visited this breakfast spot and was thoroughly impressed! The maple ramen miso was a unique twist on a classic dish, rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The souffle pancakes were light and fluffy, making for a perfect sweet treat. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly, adding to the overall great experience. If youre looking for a delicious breakfast, I highly recommend trying these dishes!
A late review but I gotta say that the chicken waffle is the best Ive ever had. Every component is perfectly seasoned and cooked, a must try.
Chicken and waffles. Just get it and youll be here leaving a review Just like me. A little more crisp on the chicken thighs. But other than that it was truly great food.
We entered and noticed they were set up for an event so we were willing to leave np. Hostess said we could sit on the patio there were a couple others out there. Then our server came , husband ordered a beer she brought it and and apparently we took too long to decide so she clapped her hands together and said we close in 4 minutes! We didnt need 4 minutes we left immediately! ( yes hard to believe but this actually happened)
We love the food and atmosphere but the number of times I have tried to go there and it s closed is ridiculous. Closed Tuesdays? Not sure if it s just the economy or what but it s getting annoying.
Another great choice on our visit to Kelowna. The menu has some unique fusion selections that will appeal to alot of people.
WOW! Im so happy I found this place. The food is incredible and the service was excellent. I have eaten almost everywhere in Kelowna and area and the food and service here is among the best! If you are looking for a flavour explosion of epic proportion then their Korean pork belly bowl Is a must have. Its got a bit of heat but even if you dont like much spiciness it is so worth it because of the outstanding flavour. When I first saw the menu I noticed some of the dishes were priced above some of the other places I have eaten, however, the quality and creativity of the food that this chef has created is without question worth the prices which I believe are completely reasonable especially considering how outstanding the food is! I will be sending many people your way because I want to make sure this restaurant is around for years to come so I can continue to eat here. Well done.
Great food (kids had souffle pancakes, dad and mum had eggs Benny- Cali style and with smoked salmon). Everything was perfect, well presented. Nice patio and strong coffee with free refills. Thanks for the perfect morning
Great Fathers Day
First time here and was blown away. Food was delicious, will be back!
Surprisingly warm inside, glass walls. It was nice to go during the farmers market as it gave a view. Inside seating is a little bit shoulder to shoulder Smaller portion sizes to cost. I liked the biscuits with eggs Benedict, eggs were small for farm fresh Waitress was nice, the hostess seemed agitated but I suppose I would be too if I worked with a broken foot
Pup friendly. Food is great. The service is out of this world. We sat on the outside patio.
Amazing food and amazing service!
Made a reservation for 3, we got seated at a table for 2, we were all bumping knees. Mentioned it to the waitress and was told thats just where they seat 3 people. Really was made to feel that our comfort was not a concern. Placed our order and it took a substantial amount of time just to receive the latte, our food was another 45 minute wait. The food was correct, but it was not worth the price. $19 for 2 small soufflé pancakes is a lot. The portions were not very big for what you pay, we left not feeling satisfied. It appeared there was enough staff, there were quite a few servers and what I assume were hostesses, but nobody was really very attentive or seemed happy to be there. There are most certainly better breakfast places in Kelowna that taste just as good but have better portions and cost less.
Great place for Brunch, Delicious Beers straight from the brewery and the food was delicious. Beautiful fresh flowers on every table, great service and a dog friendly patio! Right across from the farmers market! A great place to end a good morning! Check it out! Kid-friendliness: Its kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: One level Wheelchair Accessible Bathrooms wide wheelchair accessible doors
Had Ukrainian breakfast there, was super bland. No salt in any of the food on the plate. Waiting time is long, even for the drinks to come out took a while. Burger was ok, had better. Also very pricey. For 2 people having brunch, we spent over $70
First time there won t go back asked for medium poached 1 good other not cooked told waitress it was like I tell chef potatoes whole are not considered smashed toast cold with layers of cold butter . Save your money
Three of us were seated at the bar and it took over 20 minutes to get our menus, another 10 to get silverware and beverages. On either side of us were a young man and his child and a single guy. The waitress moved one of our cutlery over to the child so we had to ask again for another set of cutlery. Food took forever to come out, although food came out for the people on either side of us and they came later than we did. After several apologies, one of the waitresses said that there were 10 toppers ahead of us, which I guess meant a large table as I am not in the service industry. Food was very good and. I have no complaints about that. They weren t understaffed, however, I don t think they were used to serving such a large table? I would ve loved to given them a better review because the reason we went, there was due to being able to park and the other reviews. I came from out of town so maybe one day if I come back, I ll give them a second chance. I m not sure yet. Kid-friendliness: There was a young child next to us, and there were quite attentive to the child.
Worst part was trying to pick what to eat!! The menu is incredible, so was the service and the vibe. Potatoes to die for, everything was amazing. My favourite part of this experience was that there are beautiful fresh flowers on each table- even on the lovely patio. Servers and kitchen staff were working so hard in the rush- I would recommend Porters breakfast to anyone and I am already trying to plan my next menu selection- I have a lot more to try and look forward to visiting Porters after many market visits this summer!
The Korean Breakfast bowl is to die for!!!
We had a fabulous brunch at Porters. The staff were attentive and the food looked as good as it tasted. 10/10 thanks Jenny!
We loved our first experience and Porters! The food was amazing but the portions were small so none of us felt they had enough tho we all agreed that it was very delicious! Serves were not that welcoming but they didn t do anything to make us uncomfortable either. We are going to be back! Parking: Less parking on Saturdays as of the Farmers Market close by! Kid-friendliness: They have high chair and a big washroom with chang table and
Good place for some breakfast!
Porters restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its fantastic breakfast and lunch options. The availability of outdoor seating adds to its charm, allowing patrons to enjoy their meals in a pleasant ambiance. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes, from classic breakfast favorites to satisfying lunch options. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant visit for every customer. Whether youre looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, Porters is a must-visit spot for anyone craving delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.
I was taken for brunch here one day and I had such a lovely time on the sunny patio and the food was amazing! Im a pretty picky eater and was surprised to love everything I ate! Will definitely be coming back
We held our wedding reception at Porters Kelowna and could not be any happier. The space is so beautiful and Jenny and the staff were amazing to work with. Jenny was easy to communicate with during the planning process and went above and beyond on the special evening. Thank you for your beautiful space and dedication to our event. I recommend Porters to anyone looking to host an event!
After seeing the reviews, we were looking forward to trying this place. It took over 45 minutes to get our food. While we waited, we got no coffee or drink refills. No one came to let us know when we could expect our food or explain what was going on. When we did get the food, the potatoes were completely cold, the eggs were barely luke warm and undercooked. When we were finally asked if everything was OK, it was too late to wait for the new food they offered. Other tables around us were experiencing the same thing. When we tried to talk to someone about it, we just got excuses that made no sense. I was contemplating a cash tip but after paying with a card and not leaving a tip, the attitude got so bad that I didn t even leave the cash. This was a combo of both kitchen and serving failures.
Been here twice now. Once with my fiance and once solo. Fiance has also been with her gf separate from me. All four dishes we had were excellent. Excellent service and a cool venue / decor.
Just stunning! Carnivore Breakfast Bowl - eggs poached perfectly soft, potatoes were very flavorful and soft yet crisp. Among the best breakfast potatoes I ve had anywhere. Hollandaise was rich and flavorful but not heavy. Biscuit was fresh and soft. Chicken and Waffles - best southern fried chicken anywhere, even better than the gold standard we ve had in Nashville. The definition of perfection. Ultra crisp yet still incredibly juicy. The salted maple syrup was another lovely touch. Waffles were also textbook perfection. Ambience - they ve nailed the modern industrial look. Would be just as at home as a chique restaurant in Yaletown as it is in an industrial park in Kelowna. Looking forward to returning to Kelowna just to come back here. Forget about visiting family, this restaurant alone is worth the trip!
Pleasant brunch out visiting from Vancouver. Food was average but not great: good potatoes, well cooked eggs and delicious biscuits. Guys liked their meat Benny s though the Pork Benny had an overwhelming mustard flavour. The hollandaise was laking some flavour, and the California Benny was a bit mushy. $3.50 is too much for a single Lipton teabag and hot water. Coffee rotates through local roasters, but current is not good. We did not ask for refills. Beans under roasted with an aftertaste. Service was attentive and friendly.
Each dish made to perfection! We came to visit kelowna for my best friend s bachelorette and everyone really enjoyed the food. Chicken and Waffles - best southern fried chicken with a lovely touch of maple syrup. Almost didn t want to touch it because of how perfect and appealing it looks. When we came in Sunday, it was pretty busy so I would recommend making a reservation on weekends. The portions are huge, luckily each one of us didn t order an individual desert. We ordered one soufflé to share for a group of 9 people. Will definitely be coming back when I/we visit kelowna again.
Breakfast sandwich was a not overly tastey ànd the last couple bites I tasted moldy bread. Service was friendly but slo
Food was good. Staff are quite unfriendly and inattentive.
Korean Pork belly bowl and the Carnivore bowl were amazing. Great atmosphere and staff. Classic breakfast and chicken and waffles. So Great!! Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible and free parking
My wife and I had the chicken and waffles and we re blown away!!! The waffles were fluffy and light, the chicken was fried to a perfect golden brown and it was well balanced with different homemade syrups they offer. We are going back in two weeks for round two!
Amazing food. We all had rave reviews of our lunch. I m sad I don t live in Kelowna so I could eat here more often.
Now it may be the economy and how nobody wants to work but over several visits here, the food is awesome but the service is terrible. We used to live by porters and walked there often when it first opened and things were good. But as the place became busier, service slowly became worse. After a few poor experiences here on weekends and weekdays, including my birthday, I think I have to stop calling this place the best brunch spot in Kelowna. Great food, solid menu but damn, not worth the wait.
Great restaurant. Only open 10-3. Fast service. Very unique menu items. My ramen soup was delicious. My friend loved the fluffy pancakes!
Great souffle pancakes and chicken and waffles. We will be back!
Absolutely the best brunch spot in Kelowna! My boyfriend and I come here at least twice a month and its always amazing!!!
Breakfast and or brunch... so delicious. Love it.
We stopped in for food after a doctors appointment and it was amazing. The service was fast and the food didnt take long to get either. We would definitely go back again!
Amazing breakfast!
Our server was friendly and efficient and got all our orders correct. It has a typical brewery in a plaza feel with high ceilings and no nonsense decor. The options are heavy on the meat with a few veggie friendly options and zero seafood. The fries are good and their side salad is excellent. The Southern fried chicken Sando was just okay and overfried to the point of having to pull off the over crispy parts (then again if you love deep-fried food, it may be delicious). The pickles and coleslaw are just mediocre. Other guests liked the sausage option. Vegetarian options: Not a great place for vegetarians. They have a veggie burger and a salad but the options are extremely limited. This is more a place for meat lovers. Parking: Seemed to be adequate parking but was I was there off time.
I ordered the Mushroom breakfast bowl and the flavours and textures were divine. Great ambience. The service was friendly and it appeared things were running smoothly despite being busy. I would come back here in a heartbeat!
Always good
Was in Kelowna just after NYE and went for brunch with my son. His roommate had suggested a few places and we opted for Porter s. A very unique atmosphere with exposed brick walls, ducting and ventilation right above you with 30ft ceilings and lots of windows. Being winter we sat inside but I can only imagine how amazing their patio must be in the warm Kelowna sun! The menu offers a variety of unique items, all of which sounded delicious and tempting but we finally settled on the Korean Pork Belly breakfast bowl with kimchi and gochujang. With all the flavours of the ingredients I thought it best to get the Hollandaise on the side so I could add it as I saw fit. The bowls arrived and was instantly making our mouths salivate just at the sight and smell! I ll definitely be returning to Porter s my next visit to Kelowna to try some of the other creative menu items!
Just had the most amazing brunch with our friends for a birthday celebration. Everything was spectacular including the server. Guava Mimosa is the best!! Coffee was also exceptional (we had the flat white) Everyone ordered something different and everyone was very happy with their meal. We tried the bacon benny, Japanese Pancakes, Chicken and Waffles and Breakfast Bowl. We will be going back but we highly suggest reservations because it is BUSY and not that big!!
Would not recommend. Food was nothing to write home about. Overall service and environment was good. But the food was just a total miss.
Just ok, average experience Food good though Nice music playing Nice ambiance But...service: our server not engaging and not attentive much. Not one ask on a coffee refill and it was hard to get sugar and milk and even a menu off the start. Not sure why Kelowna lacks way more in service than in Kamloops or Van! Just does! Will try the Cooper Brewing next and hope for better.
Absolutely amazing breakfast! Attention to detail and made from scratch ingredients. VERY impressive. Fresh flowers on the table!
I ve brought my husband and two young children to Porters a few times now for breakfast/brunch and we ve enjoyed to food and atmosphere every time! Parking: Lots of parking available.
The Best. This place always delivers! Brunch, lunch, breakfast, whatever. Great prices and friendly staff.
Different from other places but enjoyful
Food is good, but its inconsistent, we order to Korean bowl and they came very different, one spicy and other not much, one loaded with meat other not. Food takes long to arrive, thats ok, the inconsistency not. Ambience is nice, music retd,Cesar is good. Price is on the high side.
Great breakfast spot, try the Ukrainian breakfast!
Great food, great service, overall awesome experience. Will definitely return!
This place rocks! Sylvia was super friendly and did a fantastic job serving us. I had the chicken and waffles. HANDS DOWN THE BEST IN TOWN!
Wonderful 1st visiting Porters. A1 service and excellent food!! Love it here!!
Awesome
Food was amazing, good coffee, service was quick and friendly. Can t wait to go back
Visit 2: Unfortunately a night and day experience compared to our last visit. I ordered the beef dip again, but this time they forgot the onions. My partner looked and I specifically lifted the meat to check if it was on the bottom. Our server took the sandwich back to the kitchen and returned with the plate covered in crispy onions and the sandwich full of them, claiming that the onions had been on the bottom I just didnt see them. Before I had time to say anything except for oh.. she briskly walked away. No tomato in my garden salad this time and the service was lacking and abrupt. I dont like that the kitchen didnt take accountability for their mistake and then brought back a really sloppy plate/sandwich covered in onions. Felt a little like they took revenge on my sandwich because I asked for what I had ordered to be correct. I wont be going back. :/ Disappointing. ------- Visit 1: We had the chicken and waffles as well as the beef dip. The house made jus for the beef dip was great but the sandwich was good on its own even without it. I forced myself to get a salad and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Great service as well! it was a full house but we had at least 4 visits from our server from sit down til getting our bill. 5/5 definitely coming back.
Breakfast with style and soul
Sorry Central, we have a new best brunch place in Kelowna ..
I had the Korean pork belly breakfast bowl. It was absolutely fantastic! Soo good and such fun unique options.
Staff is great. Went above and beyond. Food is amazing.
Best food Ive ever had!
Great food and staff! Will be back soon
Wonderful breakfast place. The food was yummy, service was great and the fresh flowers added a spring vibe to the place which I really enjoyed. It was just a little expensive. With coffee you are looking around 28$ per person. But I would definitely go back and recommend this place.
Visit 1 - The eggs Benny was incredible! There are stars in the sky! Look up to the ceiling!!! Well be back for sure. Visit 2 - had the prettiest flowers on our table for two. Eggs Benny again , and my sister had the California Benny with smashed avocado. There wasnt a morsel left on either of our plates.
Great bang for your buck. Potato s are the best!!
Wanted to try because of all the hubbub. There is nothing I would go back for. It was just ok
Delicious eggs Benedict! I wasn t sure about the biscuit in place of an English muffin but it was soft, buttery and rich. The hollandaise was just how I like it and the salad was really good! Cute place and love the fresh flowers on the table. I ll be back!
This is a very quaint place for breakfast. Really enjoyed it.
Went for a birthday brunch recently. It was really good. Awesome local business. Thanks
Welcoming environment, great staff, delicious food. Highly recommend.
Diverse food options including Brisket, Pork Belly and even Breakfast Ramen. Gorgeous plating and presentation. Modern Industrial Atmosphere, floral arrangements and LED starlight ceiling, gorgeous outdoor patio seating option, quick and attentive service. *Available to be booked as a private venue for wedding receptions, corporate functions, Christmas or birthday parties etc.
Excellent service, tasty food. Miso Ramen was delicious. Great open, bright space. And really just top notch chef and staff.
Excellent chicken and waffles probably the best I have ever had and the hazy pale ale is awesome. You seriously have to try this place!
The Mushroom Breakfast bowl is SO AMAZING, service was amazing! Im so very impressed! Would come here again and again and again! 10/10 recommend going here, you wont regret it! The Carnivor Ceasar is also amazing!! Food : 5/5
First REAL hollandaise in ages, it was fluffy and absolutely scrumptious!! Each of our plates and food was next level delicious. The biscuits were light with a subtle crunch top notch! The side potatoes were plentiful and also crispy and not greasy. The patio space and fresh flowers on the tables created a cafe in Paris feel. Service and lattes were excellent attentive and professional. Great job you guys!! My new fave brunch spot!
Fantastic dining experience. Would definitely come here again.
I ordered the Ukrainian breakfast. Absolutely fantastic. The breakfast potatoes are the best I ve ever had.
Loved our breakfast. Met up with my husband and his golfing entourage. The service was superb. The food amazing. Would highly recommend to be your new breakfast spot.
What a great breakfast! The menu is imaginative and well executed. The service is friendly and fast. We are regulars now.
Great menu options, unfortunately the coffee was too acidic for my taste.
So I work in the Landmark 6 Tower... and Ive been to Porters a couple times now. It hasnt disappointed me once! Amazing breakfast food especially the Kimchi Breakfast Bowl. So good :) Every time I go its a treat. Cant recommend this spot enough.
The eggs Benny, omg! Highly recommend the food here. Great place and amazing chicken and waffles too! Absolutely ZERO complaint other than the experience had to end.
Cute spot for brunch, I really liked the salmon Benny.
Decent brunch spot. I quite liked the perogies that were part of the Ukrainian breakfast. The salmon lox benny was also pretty good. The service was great.
I had the eggs Benny. Pretty friggin good. I didnt much like the coffee cause it was fairly acidic. Our server was super nice though and its just an interesting venue. If youve got a hangover, but somehow have money left over after Saturday night, this is a pretty chill place to fuel up for that inevitable Sunday afternoon power nap. Parking: Large common parking area for all the businesses. Since a lot of the businesses in the area are 9-5 sorta joints, when this place is really cracking, theres lots available
Foods always good, service is always good. Dog friendly patio as well Food
We had brunch here , the Benedict s were tasty, clean restaurant & friendly staffs.
Great atmosphere, terrific staff, amazing food. Had the classic breakfast and a hot mocha, highly recommend!!
The only place I go for breakfast when I come to Kelowna. Always great food & even better service!
This was probably the best Eggs Benedict Ive had in about 15 years.
Came here for brunch on the BC day long weekend. Best eggs benny Ive had in a long time and the grapefruit mimosa was also really good. It took a long time to get our food but thats to be expected on a busy holiday weekend. Would definitely go back.
Sorry but I wouldnt come here again. The food wasnt that great and I feel like there was too many sauces on my food, it doesnt taste good at all. If you want a good breakfast/lunch I recommend going to places like smittys or dennys. I think this place is more of a preppy place instead.
Visited Porters for the first time this weekend. Staff were awesome, super friendly. The atmosphere was good, nothing really stood out about the venue itself. Lots of missed potential. Unfortunately both our meals came out wrong. My husbands was corrected within 60 seconds however mine was not. (Must have forgot?) Staff apologized and took a percentage off the final bill. Food was bland but the side of smashed potatoes were great. Ordered an ice coffee to-go and at the bottom found what looked like string from tea bags perhaps? Ill spare posting the picture (but if the owner would like to see, I can forward). If it werent for the great customer service, easy 2 stars. Probably wont be back but wouldnt avoid either. Meh!
Great menu options, great food! Definitely coming back. Had the carnivore bowl and wife had the souffle pancakes, both awesome. Good coffee too.
Great little gem for brunch. Stay are so nice and good was good too.
Great service and atmosphere! We went in for breakfast. Our table, for some reason this day, had ordered the only 2 asian inspired dishes on the menu and a couple sides for the toddler. Would not order the Asian dishes again. The ramen was lacking flavour. The other dish was more of a kimchee bowl (too much) rather than a Korean Pork belly bowl. The pork belly in both dishes were cut up in very small pieces. Definitely not what you would expect to see when you read Pork Belly...but my nephews potatoes?!? These were amazing. We want to go back to try the Western breakfast options.
So good!
Breakfast was delicious. The crispy potatoes were amazing! Definitely would recommend.
Real food made with real ingredients! Best breakfast in Kelowna with an inviting environment. Real chefs just not line cooks. Definitely worth experiencing.
nice place, upbeat and good food
Great Place for Brunch in Kelowna. Reservations recommended on Sunday morning! Popular place. Bright open and cheery space. Outdoor patio. Food service was fast and tasty. Husband loves the . Smash potatoes to die for. Head waitress DOM is the glue that holds the place together. Amazing waitress, super friendly and attentive. Regards the place like it s her own. Hard to find employees like that . We will be back again and again. Kid-friendliness: Have a kids menu. My 11 year old enjoyed it.
Create a breakfast menu ideas and great food.
Charming atmosphere, wonderful service, and the food was amazing. We will be back!
Decided to check out Porters for the first time today. The service was super friendly, the pumpkin spice lattes were excellent and the food was the best Ive had in a long time. Fluffy melt in your mouth biscuit, rich and cream hollandaise and bacon cooked to perfection. Also was nice to sit at the bar and watch the efficiency of the kitchen. From when we placed our order to when we had our food was less than 25 minutes. Will definitely be back
Chicken and waffles were absolute BOMB!!!
Great service great food
The new fav breakfast spot in town! So many unique and delicious things on the menu. Will be back to check out more! Also great to have a brunch option that s not downtown.
Best smoked salmon bagel in kelowna.
Where else in Kelowna can you get ramen for breakfast? Super fun spot with delicious food :)
Food was disappointing but decent, service was okay
This is a fantastic place to have brunch! My team and I are making it a regular stop for morning workshops.
Strong vibe and amazing food!!
The breakfast ramen was delicious and there are many other great options. I Can not wait to go back, great new spot!
Gf and I were excited for brunch after a wedding and found this place in Google maps. I had a difficult time finding it a second time for some reason but eventually found it. Worth the dedication We were immediately met and seated. I really wanted to try the fluffy souffle pancake and got one with my crispelle breakfast as a side. It might have just been a fluffier than normal pancake, but it was hella good. The flavors were really noticeable in my crispelle pork belly and even the salad! Not normally a salad in the morning guy, but this stood out. The gfs Bennys were also excellent. She doesnt tend to finish her meals, and while bennies arent the best meal to take leftovers of (we were driving home) it was worth it. That second hit of hollandaise really hit the spot for a quick lunch near Cache Creek. The coffee admittedly tasted a bit more sour than I expected. I chalked it up to just a brand/flavor that wasnt my style, though I was offered a new cup that I politely declined. Do not let that deter you. Considering the place is pretty new, I was surprised it wasnt busier or their prices higher. Very affordable for the quality of food we got. If you think you have to find the food gems in the downtown, youre wrong. I hope Porters is still around next time I come through so I can try the maple miso ramen.
The menu, while small, is very good. If you sit on the patio, watch the position of the sun or youll roast like anywhere in the Okanagan.
So pleasantly surprised by this fresh, thoughtful brunch spot. I got the mushroom egg bowl and it was such a delicious way to refuel after a long run along the lakefront. Service was a little overwhelmed but all in all, wed definitely go back to try more of their healthy, interesting brunch combos!
We stopped in for breakfast and were surprised at how many things we wanted to try on the menu. Decided to go with the carnivor bowl and the chicken and waffles. The chicken was some of the best fried chicken Ive ever had and their hollandaise sauce was creamy and unique. Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend this spot to anyone passing thru kelowna!
You want breakfast? This place makes Coras look like a truck stop and Dennys look the slop-line in prison. The coffee tastes like Starbucks filing for bankruptcy. Youd need a week of Sundays just to try all the things youll want to order as soon as you crack the menu. I finally decided on the chicken & waffles. The waffles are crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth - the fried chicken thighs are just the same. Prefectly tender and juicy inside of a crispy, light and just-right coating. It comes with hot honey on it, but the salted maple syrup is in a cute little cup on the side. The owners must have a sense of humor if they think anyone is going to want any less than all of it. There are some pickles and radishes laid out on top, and theyre not just to make your instagram photo look like youre eating on a yacht... the flavors all marry perfectly. If I lived in Kelowna, id be standing outside Porters 3 days a week waiting for them to unlock the door. This is foodie food.
Who puts eggs Benny on a biscuit? At least if they toasted it up a little it might have been better. It was all just too mushy. When it said avocado I didn t realize it was going to be guacamole. Asked for poached soft because I like my egg runny but it was poached medium. My friend got a iced coffee for 8 dollars, that s pretty self explanatory lol. The bacon tasted like it was cooked, sat there for a bit then they just reheated it. Hollandaise was a strange white colour and had barley any taste. The smash browns were pretty good with the ketchup but I was very disappointed in the Benny. All in all wouldn t go again.
Went for breakfast with a friend. The vibe was relaxed and attentive, the fresh flowers at every table were a gorgeous touch. Great beverage selection, I had the iced mocha. The food was incredible, like Im still dreaming of that melt in your mouth brisket!! 10/10 will be back soon!
The food is fabulous and my puppy approves, loves this place.
My first time eating at Porters. Good ambiance but way too long of a wait. I understand establishments are under staffed etc. But when your bringing me my order after 1 hour and 10 minutes (not to mention people who arrived after us got served first) my food better be hot. Food was cold which was disappointing. I did asked the waitress who stated they were making the hollandaise sauce fresh which if fine but let us know that, something like sorry your foods over an hour late but we are making the sauce.
The worst service. The first time I came here I had the chicken and waffles and thought it was gross. I decided to give it another try as my friend wanted to try it. We came in for brunch around noon and we both got the eggs benedict. It literally took 1 hour for it to arrive. People that came in well after us were receiving their orders first. Our server kept telling us the food would be here shortly. We were just about to cancel our order after waiting a hour when the food finally came. We were more than understanding and assumed that maybe they were short staffed. The server claimed that they were making more hollandaise and that s why the food was taking so long, which they could have communicated instead of saying it will be here shortly . Also the others that got their food before us got dishes with hollandaise in it, so her excuse made no sense. The food was barely warm when we got it, but we did not bother sending it back since we were starving and already waited a hour. Food was definitely not worth the wait. Biscuit was barely toasted, so the dish was soggy. Would definitely not recommend this place.
Havent been yet. But you need to put your address on your website!! Then we can find Porters!
We had brunch at Porters. A good experience, attentive staff, nice decor, great food!
Fantastic brunch today!! Both staff and food wee top notch!!
Cool vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Excellent menu with diverse choices. Easily a top 5 in Kelowna in brunch category.
Came in this morning for a drink and breakfast after waiting over 1hour wife and I left without breakfast apparently the waitress had a technical problem with our order. Spoke to the manager who comped our drinks but very disappointed in the service as this was our first time trying your restaurant. As you know there are plenty of choices in Kelowna for breakfast and your place will not be chosen again and I will tell people I know of the poor service this morning
This place is great! The soufflé pancakes are amazing.
Very impressive menu, delicious food, and great service!! Huge shoutout to Darla and Shawn for their amazing hospitality and going above and beyond!
Great food and awesome staff! I had the breakfast sandwich and it s 2 meals in one! 10/10 recommend
Went for brunch for lunch, and it was great! My husband had the Chicken & Waffles and loved it I had the Maple Miso Breakfast Ramin...lots of pork & the noodles were delicious. We both had a beer, gotta love Copper Brewery! Cant wait to go again and have one of the Bennys!!
Selected Porter s due to its convenient location. Food was tepid in temperature, potatoes crunchy but too much Old Bay seasoning. Buttermilk biscuit was tiny, hard on the bottom and bland. Americano coffee had to be sent back. To put this into context, I m a retired Foods teacher and a coffee connoisseur.
Great service, food was exceptional!
Food was so delicious! Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely reccomend! Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available Parking: Ample parking
Good good and solid menu. The atmosphere is cozy and chill. I would definitely come here again especially with having great service.
Huge rave to Porters! Amazing chef designed menu, Texas brisket FREE RANGE eggs Benny on house made buttermilk buiscits with smashed potatoes. Should have taken a picture as the presentation on all plates were beautiful. Very reasonable prices, comparable to breakfast chains which is crazy for the fact that everything is home made with quality ingredients. Favorite breakfast spot in Kelowna now hands down and with fantastic service!
Great service, even better food highly recommend Parking: Very easy parking
I had an excellent breakfast here. A perfect eggs Benny. They offer Barbecue Brisket as a Benny or a bowl. I have never seen that before. Excellent espresso and service. I am taking my family there this weekend. This is my new top place for breakfast.
Amazing breakfast!! Most definitely my favourite spot!
The place was cute, the staff were friendly and the menu items all sounded good but our potatoes that came with the bennies were raw and the biscuits were rock solid. They also forgot parts of our order and never came over to check on us despite trying to get our server s attention several times so we were not able to get everything we had ordered.
Great food and atmosphere.
Booked brunch via Open Table. Arrived - restaurant was half empty, grabbed a nice table. Ordered a Caesar (was ok), and food. Avocado Smashed toast, soup of the day and wings. Waited 40 minutes - no food. Asked for water, and ordered a pint of beer. Was advised the beer (pint) was out - no suggestions for another ale (yet Copper Brew is right beside them). Still waiting for food - noticed several tables that sat after us had their food already. Our server was now at the counter eating food.....so we flagged down someone else. Advised then it had been almost an hour, to which they went and asked the kitchen.......looked like at that point they started to make our food (how hard is toast, wings, and soup of the day?). Received food after just over an hour. ZERO sorry, zero apologies for the wait. Food was ok - bill came and no discount, no offer, no apology. There are plenty of amazing independent restaurants in Kelowna that care enough to make it right - save your money and support those!
Popular spot with an awesome brunch menu. Often very busy, but have never had to wait long for a table. My favorite is the Ukrainian Breakfast. Souffle Pancakes are a runner up,
Worst eggs benny I have ever had. Hard boiled eggs and cold Hollandaise. They charged me 17.60 for the potatoes I ate. To hard to make money now and waste it on an experience like this.
Have to say this is the best breakfast place in town! Food is amazing, from the breakfast ramen to the amazing eggs Benedict!
First visit to Porters but wont be our last.
Over priced , cold and mediocre service. Lots of better choices in Kelowna
Great food, great staff will be coming back again!
The food was excellent! Service amazing! This place has an amazing vibe and would be perfect to host any event!
Wonderful place for breakfast/brunch. Friendly and attentive staff make for a great dining experience. Food and menu is the best of its kind in Kelowna. I can never decide what to get I had the Ukrainian breakfast and couldn t be more satisfied. Can t wait to come back to try more of the menu.
Absolutely loved the Bennie! I think biscuits with Eggs Benedict is better than an English muffin and I loved that they had this. Warm atmosphere and really friendly staff
Went here a couple of times whilst visiting from Australia. Had brunch and the food was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to take my sons dog Zara with us whom I was looking after Thanks and look forward to coming again next time when I am there. PS they know what a true flat white is for the Aussies Dietary restrictions: They had great options on the menu Parking: So easy to get a park right out the front with lots of parking available
