A lot of selection, food was fresh and good. The service was great, very kind and cleaned up quickly. Open designed, good for large groups but also had some more intimate booth seating. At lunch it is quiet and easy to get around. At dinner it can be loud and a little overwhelmed for those not liking that busy atmosphere or hard of hearing. But over all it is set up well to access the buffet and move around the restaurant.
Food used to by way better. They took the mussels off the menu. The shrimp are now gross. More than half the menu is stuff like frozen pizza and box mashed patatoes and fries. The price is outrageous quality is mediocre. It used to be affordable and good now it's expensive and disgusting. I can't wait till they close. #makechinesefoodchineseagain
Amazing food, loved it. Fresh sushi, lots of clean tables, friendly staff and excellent service. We got there late just before they where closing and they let us stay to eat.
Overall it was very good experience. In Kelowna there is not many good asian places but this buffet is pretty nice. All dishes are flavorful and hot. The staffs are so kind and efficient. If you are visiting Kelowna and don’t know what to get, highly recommend to visit here.
Beef with veggies were to die for. Really good flavour. Shanghai noodles had some good chew. Will come again.
This place was value for money for our large family. Tried sushi for the first time ever, let's just say a sushi fan was made!! Very warm and accommodating staff for our party of 6 adults and 7 kids. It was quite neat too
This place is a very good buffet. Our first one at Kelowna, and the atmosphere is very welcoming, especially for family and those with children. The food tastes so good, and they have lots of variety here, including crabs, shrimp, pork, and sauce. The service was also very great, and the children loved the dessert options available including the ice cream, cakes, puddings and others.
Really good buffet in Kelowna, modern atmosphere, nice and clean everywhere, many food choices , good taste. Price is reasonable. Location is convenient and easy to find. Strongly recommend this buffet to friends and clients. Worthy to try.
Best in the Okanogan
38$ for that come on now. Feel like every flames fan in 2004.
Always a great buffet
We did the dinner buffet around 5pm. It was absolutely terrible. I tried almost 1 of everything and couldnt find anything I could eat another of. Such a waste of money, me and my family left hungry. When my wife tried to complain she was givin attitude and was handed the bill. I will not ever eat at this place ever again.
Hands down the best buffet in BC!
I have seen a rat running trough the restaurant
GOT WAY OVERCHARGED FOR PICK UP ORDER AND HAVE FEE FOR UNEATEN FOODS AT BUFFET HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED
good place
The food was delicious. Hot and fresh. Parking: The best buffet in town! Food : 5/5 |
Lots of selections and price is just right. Our family enjoyed the dinner and the ambiance is very warm.
I can t believe how this place actually thinks these prices r something any idiot would pay. Food is good but I m floored how crazy that is. Ridiculous
First n last time going here, the decor is 1980s n I think the food is too, nothing like the pictures, no thanks $157 for 4 of us Later on that night, I got food poisoning n then my senior parents got food poisoning as well. All the food was old n the wonton meat taste sour, crab tasted really fishy, everything else was old n dried out. I phoned n let Asian Pear know n they said no one else got sick, n would get the manager to call, still waiting for the call. A big no thanks, if ever invited there!!
My family and I are happy to try the amazing food!
Large selection, quite good a bit expensive
$35 for one person is OUTRAGEOUS. I would never spend that in a million years.
I can t believe how bad it was. I remember the old Asian Pear from four -five years ago. I used to go there fairly often for the buffet and the food was decent. My friend and I had been looking forward to going. We always talked about it, but it never happened. Finally tonight was the night. Both of us agreed it was terrible. They used to have a really good Seasoned shrimp dish. Well, they had shrimp all right .This time vein still in. Not cleaned Up at all. Food was bland In general. It was basically $36 taxes in water to drink. The chow mein and lemon chicken were okay . It wasn t fantastic, but it was OK. Pretty hard to mess up chow mein. The potstickers were brutal. You can get better out of the box from Costco. How sad. We should ve refused to pay, but they would ve been crying . Never again will I go to the Asian Pear ? Save your money unless you don t care what you eat. If it s just about filling up the hole. Not even a fortune cookie at the end. Never been to a Chinese restaurant and not got a fortune cookie. Big rip off. I would say it was full of MSG by the way we reacted later on.
Poor Service and one of the staff wearing a black shirt was kinda offensive his watching us and he makes sure we settle our bills. And yet we are still eating and they started charging our bills and not even one star he doesnt deserve it. (he looks like the owner/manager) Food
FRESH FOOD. GOOD VARIETY. A LITTLE BLAND , MORE SPICE,LIKE GINGER NEEDED. Food
Just called in ahead to ask if any of their meats are halal, simple question. The first lady didnt know what i was talking about so the second lady picked up asking what i need so i ask if any of the meats are HALAL and i spelt out the word for her H-A-L-A-L cuz she thought i was saying hello. She goes like what are u saying in the rudest tone over and then goodbye and hung up on me. Working in restaurant these days i think halal inquiries are quiet common. Even if she truly didnt know what i meant there was no need for her rudness and hanging up on my face. I was coming to dine regardless of the meats being halal or not but after that experience i redirected my party elsewhere last minute. Fix your attitude
Super expensive!! And food is meh
A little bit of everything
Mediocre Asian buffet. Sushi is a nice touch and somewhat unique, otherwise selection is so-so. Not great for the price, which is on the expensive side. Facilities are clean and well-maintained.
They didn t clean their shrimp The intestines of the shrimp still in
Beef dumplings were slimy, had the vegetable tempura but it was cold, alot of the food was Luke warm even though it was sitting under the heat lamp. Most of the other dishes I had tried were bland or had a strange taste.
Pretty consistent Asian buffet. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Nice buffet spot for family. Good selection of different foods. It s what you expect for a normal Asian buffet! Some highlights like dumplings and tempura. Fried chicken was solid. The prime rib roast was a little too salty. Enjoyed the fruit bar, jello and ice cream. The kids did for sure. Overall would recommend! If you want the buffet classic experience back in the 90 s lol
It was shockingly bad how terrible all the food was. It all had a similar fishy deep fried taste and everything was bad even the watermelon despite them being in season. Only good thing was the pineapple
This was by far the absolute worst buffet food Ive ever had. Fruits soggy. Crab legs were like rubber, dry and completely inedible. Almost everything was fried and greasy. Nothing tasted fresh. So disappointed that food like this knowingly gets served.
When I went to the restaurant, it was almost empty. There were about 3 tables that were seated close to the front. The host came to seat us and wants us to sit at the back where no one else was. I decided I was not going to the back of the restaurant. Then she came with waters with no straws, when I asked for straws she wait until we leave the table to put the straws on the table with no napkins or nothing. I felt like because I am a person of color I was treated differently in a bad way.
Meh but wouldnt buy again
Do not waste ur money coming to this place the food was very questionable 11.95$ mall Chinese food is 130% better after I was done my food I felt like I almost had to go to the bathroom and finger puke the food back out that s how gross I felt afterwards the only thing that was okay was the ice cream I still went for dinner afterwards someplace else because I didn t even get to enjoy the food
This used to be one of our favourite places to eat. We understand that prices in many restaurants had to increase, but the price for Seniors rates was shocking! And the food isnt as good as it used to be. There is basically no service as its a buffet, so Im not sure why their prices are so high. And the woman behind the counter when we went to pay was extremely rude, belligerent & sarcastic. Basically, her attitude was, Pay up. We dont care. We have plenty of other customers. Its not the way customers should be treated, and it was a very disappointing experience. They wont go broke without our business, but we wont be eating there again. Also, because weve eaten there many times over the years, we never thought of reading online reviews. Ive read them since and it seems that many others have had similar experiences. I can spend my money somewhere else, where Im treated as a valued customer and spoken to with respect!
Huge buffet
Found the baked fish very nice. Most food was hot but displays were not tidy. It was pricy for the quality of food.
Best onion rings and fries in town
good buffet in Kelowna, good selection and good price
They frie everything all the food is oily. I don t recommend this place at all special for healthy people, non-healthy people go for it you will enjoy it. A&W is way batter than this place .
According to SNS, the store opens at 11:30, It was open from 11am. Everything in the store was clean, and the employees were always polite and helpful. The food is freshly prepared and even more delicious when the restaurant opens. The seasoning isnt too strong, so its kid-friendly. The ice cream is not a scoop type, but a mechanical soft serve ice cream (chocolate and vanilla). I am satisfied because the location is good and the price is low. I will definitely repeat it again.
wonton soup was excellent. great broth. however. everything else? made my stomach turn. currently vomiting in the backseat of the car.
Always a great experience with my family and food is always fresh! They have awesome variety and great waiters/waitresses. My family will always make sure to make a visit! Kid-friendliness: Kids never complain when we eat at this location, they have a great assortment of dishes to choose from, so its easy for picky eaters to find what they want to enjoy!
It was very good.
We had dinner buffet .All food is good. Nice restaurant . Food
food was very mid not alot of choices though, i saw the server once! Overall very mid do not recomend
It s a decent Asian buffet in its category. Given the price of Kelowna, a $34/person dinner buffet isn t too much off than going to a local restaurant for dinner. Food selection is decent with many choices.
The food was good, but over priced.
We visit my mother in Kelowna often and once in awhile order Chinese food and have always had a bad experience. We discovered the Asian Pear this trip and I must say the food was very very good. Everything was fresh and so tasty. The chow mein did not have traces of chicken or shrimp pieces but instead huge shrimp, large pieces of meat that was very flavorful. I give this place a full 5 star rating. Very impressed.
Food was not the quality it used to be changed the food in the buffet no big prawns, snow crab was so soggy you couldn t even get into it and was very small not the quality it used to be .cost way to much for the food in the buffet.
The worst buffet All the food was cold and hard, so I couldnt eat it Dont ever go!!!! Food : 1/5
Very good Asian/Chineese Buffet. Commendable quality on everything they have out. Even side dishes like hot and sour soup are very good. Favourite for me is their pork ribs. Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant great for kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking in-front of main door and ramp.
waiter didn t mentioned gratuity was included and food was unpleasant.
Ended up dining in with my kids and we all got bad food poisoning, have been throwing up since last night
It was very sad. Lots of options with NO flavors though food looked fresh it didn t taste that way. And it was expensive for the offerings. 2 adults and 2 children payed $120 including tips but did not enjoy it. Too bad
Good, rich in general categories
Sooooo good!
Great food as always
Good experience if you go earlier evening when the food is fresh! Service was good and quality of food was good as well
Food was good and friendly staff.
Fresh and delicious food, quick service and pleasant atmoshere
A lot of choices,prices OK
Food so Yummy , Roast beef , Crab legs and various dishes at Dinner buffet, stay in Kelowna for few days, order 5 take out from there and two Buffet dinner , the best experience in Okanagan area , will definitely back next time !!
The value of the food is not there any more. The prices are to high for the quality of food you are getting now.
Great place to bring your family! A bit pricey but worth it
Eat all you can is awesome at only 25bucks
Reasonable buffet for a good price.
Everything so good
Food is decent for buffet Chinese food. Thats really all I can say other than there is lots of things to choose from.
The meals are rich in variety and taste very good. There is also ice cream to choose from. The service staff are also very friendly.
Worst buffet I ve been to in my life. All the food tasted like old grease. Even the desserts were dry and flavourless. The staff is rude as hell. The place should be shut down. Would give 0 stars if it was an option
Nice variety.
Very disappointed the last three times we went . For some reason it has gone down hill. It used to be so good but the food has lost its great taste. Won t try again three times I m out!
The price for 2 ppl to have dinner here at the buffet...$72!! And thats with water to drink. I get it, inflation is a thing but $72 for two dinners is ridiculous . The food is decent but the prices, not even close.
Great food and service.
Quite expensive for what you get, if drink, tea, coffee and soft drinks came with high buffet price, maybe a little closer in value. Nice looking prime rib roast , no knife to cut, impossible to find someone to help.
mothers day. avocado in the sushi is brown. i show stuff she ignores me. then i have a dumping and its half raw..i point it out she then drops pop on me. and didnt even offer to help clean it up. food is bland but the treatment of manager or server who has our table ruined my mothers day.
Good selection of food Food was good as always Food
Good food, a little expensive tho
Juicy beef prime rib in pink, good snow crab leg(not salty like others resturant)and fresh shrimp can beat any restaurant in this price in this city, will come back for sure. ohh,,,Chinese chaomen was highly recommended
I was excited to try this buffet. The food looked delicious. I made myself a big plate because my mouth was watering, but after a few mouthfuls, I quickly became disenchanted. It s way too salty, fried, greasy and tasteless. Never again.
Food was amazing today. They improved. Service was nice. Delicious. 26 for lunch to let everyone know.
Went in today, the host for me was a lady and she was really friendly and had a sense of humour, loved that. There are a lot of different types of food you can choose as well, and most of them are just great! Their fried chicken drums slap, didnt try the egg rolls and sushi today, however. I will probably come by and try it out again and write some review about it. It was very unfortunate i had to leave for other matters but i was definitely full and satified with the food today. All in all I think it was a fair price, good food and genuinely red wine merlot was not bad as well! Will definitely come again in a few weeks soon.
Food quality was not as good as the last time we were there.
Awful food all tastes the same !!! Will not be back
The food was cold the fried items were oil saturated and tasted as though the oil was very old. The calamari was extremely fishy tasting and smelling. The soft serve ice cream was granular and the grapes and pineapple were well past their prime. An incredibly disappointing meal. I expected Canadian Chinese food I just didn t expect such horrible quality!
2 big issues: 1. The selection is not very good and there is a degree of false advertising. In the photos on their website for example you can see large selections sushi and in restaurant they did not serve anything besides California rolls the entire hour we were there. No salmon, no tuna, no shrimp. Super disappointing. 2. I understand buffet food isn t top tier food but this food was not good at all. The crab legs you could tie into a pretzel, the ribs were wildly tough, fried rice was flavorless. We left and just had to laugh at the fact we spent $32 each for what we got.
Buffets are getting pricey. I know food prices have gotten more expensive. Its the trickle down effect I guess.
This restaurant is about the variety in their buffet. Everything from sushi to prime rib, chicken to shrimp. I have been here a few times and while the food is tasty, unfortunately, this time many of the dishes were lukewarm. Clean, friendly staff, a bit pricey IMO
Food was Luke warm, and I got ill when we got home. Very greasy and way to expensive for the terrible food. Roast beef was tough.
Lots to choose from! Fresh, hot, great selection from traditional american Chinese dishes to Western selections, and seafood - something for everyone. Excellent selection of desserts to finish off your meal. Friendly servers!
Great buffet place, you cant beat that
Your steam tables need attention as your food is cold. That can be a health issue. The fruit on the plate at the ice cream counter was going rotten. The dessert counter was just odd looking. Food
pretty dang good buddy
We were told we would get the free dry ribs, but never recived them, also the time before this we ordered sweet and sour chicken balls but we got no sweet and sour sauce for them.
Huge variety, great atmosphere
We booked a table for 14 people for my 12 year old nieces birthday. I understand that large tables are usually charged a gratuity. I worked in the industry most of my career. I have absolutely no problem with paying a service charge, what I do have an issue with is not being informed as the bills were dropped at our table. When I mentioned it as I was paying my bill, the response I received was unbelievable, it s on our website, you could of looked there Had I been informed, there would of been additional gratuity added, even with the disappointment with the food, the service was pretty good. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning. Check your bills!
The Onion Rings and Fries Did not Taste like Rings and Fries. The Yams where also not Very Good, Veg Rice and noodles Tasted Bland. I love French Fries but those were not Fries! The mens Bathroom was gross, And I believe I seen Blood on the Sinks!
We discovered this place about 8 months ago and have been happily eating lunch there about once a month when we visit Kelowna. I am most happy about the veggie dishes (green beans in black bean sauce especially delicious) and that they also have sushi. The prawns are so good especially since they aren t breaded and the sesame chicken is my fave. Vegetarian options: Many veggie dishes to choose from, including vegetable tempura and the amazing green bean dish. And veggie sushi options too.
The rice and noodles were good but the prawns and meat products were tough as nails, Won Ton was very good.
Went with a group of 9, we had a great time, food was great, and refilled quick, seasme chicken is awesome, oh and the salt and pepper squid. Dessert options were pretty good! Thanks guys! Service was amazing, they left us alone, and were there when we needed them, perfect combo! Lol
WAY too expensive. They had a very small variety of food for how much it costs to eat there, most of it ranging from ok to not good. You can get infinitly better chinese food for way less money elsewhere around town.
Lovely staff and great food. Hallelujah praise the Lird
The food is good, but its just so overpriced. Ive been to similar buffets for $25 a head and this was $31. Dinner for 5 was $200 after tip. Not worth that amount. You may as well go to a restaurant and order some dishes and share, and then you can take home leftovers. Only go here if you have a massive stomach and can make it worth it.
It was a favorite for a long time until we had to eat rewarmed food from two days ago (Friday food in Monday food trays). The food inspectors are not doing their jobs. The only fresh food were sliced fruits and soup. Not recommending it right now.
Excellent - well be back !! Parking: Always close to the door, strategic thought went into the planning. Food : 5/5 |
Its possible we caught the host on an off day. She was not the most happiest person we have been greated by. The food was less then luke warm (the food inspectors) would have a feild day in there. The icecream in the dispenser was extremely gritty EEWW. it terms of service, McDonalds would have been better. Good luck getting to the bathroom, stock all over the place but more importantly I felt like I was in a pre school class. The toilet were extremely low to the ground. 0/10 for us :(
Rude server. My son and I were I ll from the food will never go there again
Everything was amazing
The food is very good with lots of variety. Crab legs could use a sauce. Best sweet and sour pork and seseme chicken. Decent spring rolls and rice/noodles. For a buffet there is a massive selection! Do not eat the pizza. Condensation makes it super wet and throws the texture and flavor off. Cake could use a touch up as its very dry and pretty solid. The staff is very friendly and it is a buffet so they dont need to try super hard but still very friendly and good service. The atmosphere is very welcoming for family or date nights and they do their best to get you a seat away from others to give you as much privacy as possible. Parking: Too many to count. Lots of parking to match the many seats available inside Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly location. Small curb ramp to enable entry.
Went here this evening with a large group of seniors. We all ordered the buffet. Food was good, and the fried chicken was really meaty. The ribs were really good too. However, the entire experience was ruined by MANDATORY TIPPING. Needless to say, no one on our party will be returning. Why not just raise the price of the food? BTW, it is illegal in BC to force customers to tip!
Always speedy service and delicious food
Super dated. Food is okay. Worth it for the crab legs. But meh not the best
Way way way too expensive for people who eat a normal amount of food especially seniors. $200 for a family of six, with two seniors that hardly eat anything. If we had gotten take out from Yum Yum Tree it would have been under $60 and fresher.
I have never ever been so disappointed in the owner amanda. I have ordered from here at least three times a year the service has been great until today christmas eve 2023. You should not be a owner of a restaurant you were so f-nn rude you dont talk to costomers the way you did to me. You Lost My BUSSNESS!!!! I WILL LET ALL MY SD FRIENDS KNOW ABOUT YOU.
Good food but limited selection.
Due you unforeseen circumstances our Christmas dinner was in a Kelowna hotel.. didnt have high expectations for a decent delivery meal but Asian Pear definitely surprised us!!! Every dish was fantastic.. Thanks guys!
We went on Christmas for their buffet. My mom wanted Turkey and mashed potatoes. Which they had, along with stuffing and gravy. Unfortunately, it was not good. The gravy tasted awful, the stuffing tasted nothing like stuffing and my mom did not like the Turkey as it didnt have good flavour. It was quite disappointing. The prime rib on the other hand had good flavour and if you could find a nice pink piece, it was enjoyable. I was surprised they didnt have more options for food. They did have seafood like crab, but we dont eat seafood so I am sure others were happy with that. It just limited more of what we could have. I found their noodles okay, enjoyed their beef and veggies. There was enough that was okay. But most things didnt have enough flavour. I can only compare it to the Grand 88 buffet and the Asian Pear lacked in comparison. I do hope they bring it back. The service is fine and the restaurant is nice, with enough space between tables to be comfortable. My family and I wont be back. Mainly because of lack of flavour and lack of items we enjoyed. But I am sure it may be different for other people. It is worth a try and then you can decide. It cost us $65 (plus tip) for 2 adults at lunch time.
Delicious food, must go place
Good selection done well
Place is a decent place to eat and go out, found it pretty pricey for not fresh or hot food.
Our family used to go once a week..however the menu hasnt changed but the price is getting outrageous, the msg or sodium content now is so high my blood pressure pounded almost all night. After years of eating there we will no longer go there.
Lovely food, nice ambiance, courteous staff, and so many varieties in their buffet menu. Nice place to pamper your taste buds if you find yourself in Kelowna.
Nice Staffs
Good variety!
Cheap low quality food. Not even close to what are in the pictures. Not worth it!
Over priced food for a buffet. Not worth it
We enjoyed our first Kelowna Buffet, many options, well run. Will come again
Decent place to have eat all you can at Kelowna
Fast and efficient service. Very tasty food. Loved it and highly recommend it. Vegetarian options: Many vegetables and pastas. Food : 5/5 |
The food is getting progressively worse each time we visit. No more quality control. Everything tastes the same and flavorless. So disappointed in this place. Rubys use to be the best in town until the owners retired. This food is just as bad as food court Chinese.
Great food and variety.
I actually feel like we ve been scammed. $67 for me and my boyfriend. This is the worst place you could ever go, don t be fooled by the reviews. All food was dry, chewy and bland, hoping the desserts would taste better, but the one we ate tasted like soap. We both feel sick from eating here.
Decided to go here as the reveiws didnt seem too terrible, well this was not only the worst chinese food Ive ever had, but the worst restraunt Ive ever been too. Over 60$ for all you can eat rubber flavorless mush. Dinner was a sham, maybe the dessert was better. No. It was in fact worse than dinner. I couldnt leave this place fast enough.
You got to get in when the food is fresh , couple hours max after its brought out
Do not eat here The prime rib tasted like soap and was damp. The chow mein was raw and crunchy. I got a headache as soon as i started eating. It was also 100$ for the worst food I have ever tasted. There was no option for no tip so I had to tip. Once again, do not eat here
Very clean, friendly environment. Ample parking Wheelchair accessible Wide variety of foods for lunch Very tastey smorgasbord Reasonably priced for never ending food Several selections. Salads, vegetables, desserts, large variety of Asian tastes, has sushi, different sides. meats- pork, chicken and many desserts. Wonderful
My visit to Asian Pear Buffet was a good time. The staff there were really friendly, which made the whole experience nice and welcoming. The food was tasty and you could tell they put effort into making it. The desserts, in particular, were a big hit. They had an ice cream machine, which was a fun twist compared to the usual scooping method. But, heres the thing - there werent many choices for the main dishes. I thought a buffet would have more variety, so that was a bit disappointing. In short, Asian Pear Buffet is a friendly place with good food and awesome desserts. Its just that they could add more options for the dishes to make it even better.
Buffet was okay! Missing a few key dishes we usually see here :(
Great place for family to eat and visit.
Varied selection and great tasting food
The service was great, the food selection was really good, something for everyone, even ice-cream and lots desserts!
My pickup order was wrong so the next time I was in the neighbourhood I asked to have it replaced and showed a picture (I had specified vegetarian and received seafood and meat). I was treated as though lying, grilled on why I hadnt reported it the same day, asked to show the details of the picture and my banking. All for a $15 noodle dish.
Too expensive
The food was awful, especially for the price.
We liked the buffet here and we will be back.
Im honestly not one to leave poor reviews, but this place honestly felt like a waste of $67.50. Myself and my partner decided to treat ourselves to a buffet and, reading the 5 star reviews first, picked Asian Pear Buffet. Walking in, the front of house employee complimented our outfits and greeted us with a smile. We were quickly seated in a clean booth. Thats where the positives stopped. All of the food was lukewarm at best. Almost everything was room temperature by the time we made the short walk to our table. Most of the Veggie dishes were over seasoned with either lemon juice or lemon seasoning. The crab legs were actually cold, and not served with any butter or seasoning. The one saving grace was the desserts, but even the ice cream was grainy. Generally I would talk to the staff at first opening, but not one of them asked when picking up empty plates or while we paid for our meal how anything was, service or food. I feel like this restaurant has potential, a clean environment and a large variety of food, if only it was served hot, and the staff checked in with patrons.
Not a good variety of Chinese food, chop suey, beef broccoli, chow mein...and others..snow crab horrible..2 meals, 2 beers, $100...not ever going back
terrible greasy food, dirty old prsud, the place is more like a simple street corner than a restaurant
I love Chinese food but. this is way over priced for what it is. This is not good food food. It is mediocre at best. Too much salt but not really any other flavor. Everything is greasy. and flavorless. I think the positive reviews must be fake because this place is awful. $70. for two Seniors plus a coffee and a tea and a small tip. Not worth the price.Oh, and their ladies room smelled bad and it was a mess. Gross. I so miss Buffet 88. I wish they would come back.
Excellent food.
My friend took one bite and that was it
DO NOT EAT HERE!! The absolute most disgusting food in Kelowna, I m convinced eating at 7/11 food would be better. Spent 167$ and we all barely ate, the ice cream is disgusting powder and I asked the waitress when the machine got cleaned and she said two days ago with an insane amount of attitude witch is absolutely disgusting. Poor customer service and absolutely disgusting food. This place needs to be shut down, the meat was raw, and all the other food was warm not hot, this place is a joke to the food industry learn how to run a business. Disgusting behaviour. As someone who works in the food industry for 3 years now, I don t think this place follows any kind of food safe AT ALL! my whole family feels sick, I didn t eat much bc as soon as I walked it I was bombarded by the disgusting smell of the food and immediately chose to only eat the food I know wouldn t get me sick. I fear for peoples health after eating here. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!
Best Asian buffet in Kelowna. For $32 a person, you wont be able to find anything better in Kelowna.
Went for dinner tonight to the buffet and I almost felt sick leaving. Some items are too chewy and tough, some are way too saucy and sweet, some too dry, some too oily, some too cold. Just overall it did not taste fresh at all and like it was sitting under a heat lamp for 2 days. Had take-out once from here and it was quite good - I would give that a 4 star which brings this up to a 2 star. I would likely order take-out again, knowing it s freshly made (or I hope so), but I would definitely not go back for the buffet. You can get so much better food spending $30+ almost anywhere else. My girlfriend s opinion is essentially the same as well.
Unfortunately an incredibly poor dining experience. Staff are really nice and we got seated right away and the server that came by to take our drink order was super nice. The pleasant experience ended there tho. We visited on a Tuesday evening around 7:30. Not a great selection to begin with and what little there was had clearly not been refreshed in a while. Looked like scraps that had been sitting under the heat lamps for hours. Ribs were chewy and tough, prawns were not cleaned or deveined, most sauces had a skin formed on them, desserts were super stale, and the fruit was mushy and not fresh. Noodles and sesame chicken were the only edible options. Overall it was $69 down the drain. Ouch. Not one person asked us how things were while we were eating or when we were paying. I see similar comments in other reviews. Unfortunate to see that the feedback is not taken seriously and implemented. Super disappointing experience :( we will not be back.
Food looked & tasted stale like its been on there for hours! Limited options with literally only 2-3 meat options & all of them cooked way too long ago (unchewable)! Wished i read the most recent reviews! Definitely NOT worth $35!
Everything tastes the same
All time great
Nice for a quick dinner with a busy toddler and the staff are always friendly.
The food all tasted the same, ribs were dried up, rice was kind of burnt. It was $73 for the two of us & we both ended up on the toilet right after leaving. Will never come back to this place. Most of the reviews say this but we figured we would give it a shot .. the reviews are right. Stay away, not worth .73 let alone $73.
The food here was absolutely fresh and delicious! The staff was so friendly and the cleanliness of this place was outstanding! I saw the staff cleaning tables, seats and high touch areas repeatedly in the short time I was here. Very impressed! We will be back! Thank you staff for such a clean and delicious place to eat!
For the price, the food wasnt the greatest. Was greasy. Not very eager to go back.
Waited 10 mins for our drinks to arrive. The waiter didn t even ask us how our meal were, just took our dirty plate. My 3 years old ordered a glass of milk, but only drank 1/4 of glass, I asked for a to go cup for the milk which we paid for it (not free refill) the waiter said no, because it s Buffett I couldn t take the drink with me. I talked to the manager, she said they didn t have to go cup, only for the customer order the take out. What is the different that I ordered a glass of milk and paid in the restaurant than I walked in and ordered a take out milk? Never go back again!
Price keeps going up and food quality down . Service was so so.
