Used to be great years ago. But now the fact they will only deliver using skip, doordash, or uber is ridiculous. Wont even take orders over the phone anymore.

Very good food. Lots of Gluten-free and vegan dishes to choose from which are very tasty. Highly recommended.

We had the Roast Pork Belly and pork/shrimp dumplings, egg foo young and yang chow rice. The food was delicious. It was a busy Sunday but the servers made sure we were looked after..

Came for Dim Sum. We were not disappointed! Everything is made in house and it was delicious. Will definitely be coming back. My 5 year old loved the steamed buns and the garlic Gai-lan.

Raw chicken and absolutely horrible service

First time customer. The chicken was served raw (pink & gooey), food came out at random times. The server was not attentive, condescending, did not listen to customer requests properly, and argued with customers about how the chicken is prepared . Do not spend your money here. 0 stars

Table of 6 for dim sum. Service was patient informative, which was great for the newbies to dim sum. Most of the food was good, but the bbq pork buns were delicious! The only complaint I have, was the ignorant customer from another table, who thought it was necessary to yell and be verbally abusive to the server. That wasn t enough, so he came here to finish the job. Please try the bbq pork buns! My friends said the bean buns were also delicious.

My family had the pleasure of eating here twice while we were in Kelowna. It was so good the first night we needed to skip any other restaurants of interest and go back the next day The garlic gai lan was the best Ive ever had. The service was great The BBQ meat was great. I miss it already

Went for dim sum, been curd.was over cooked, sticky rice had no flavour just really sticky and not much besides rice. Dumplings were good.

Loved the chicken corn cream soup and chicken fried rice. Very good portion size for the price, friendly people and staff, and our food came out quickly. Lovely atmosphere for our toddler who also really enjoyed the food! Would definitely come again and try other menu items

There is not a lot of good places in Kelowna to get Chinese food, but we always enjoy it here. Do keep up the good work

My husband and I brought our youngest out for a quiet Tuesday night dinner. We were blown away with the new menu at Dragon King. The flavours and new menu options were incredible! Bathrooms are very modern and clean, music and atmosphere- comfortable and relaxing. It was like a taste of modern Vancouver with the casual comfort of Kelowna! Highly recommend!

Very slow. We arrived at 5pm and placed our order immediately. It s now 6pm and food has not come out yet. Waitress is always making excuses. Do not eat here!!!!

Had a wondeful experience at dragon king. I brought my family to get a taste of dim sum and it was a fantastic first time for them. The atmosphere is very nice andnthe service was equally as great. You need to go for the dim sum as its a great bang for your buck and everything was rich in flavour. It was unfortunate that they had ran out of gai lan but nevertheless the food was delicious. Must haves are the pork dumplings and the black bean squid!!!! All in all this place packs a wonderful experience without costing and arm and a leg. home life is bad, so i do take out a lot. this place has amazing food. not cheap, but worth every dollar. best shrimp chow mein and fried rice. so many shrimp and prawns. egg foo is awesome. the seating area is very nice, washrooms are awesome. curried prawns and veg is spectacular. very classy place. Vegetarian options: cant speak to vegan options but abundant for vegetarians. tasty, fresh and great portions.

Great cantonese-style cuisine with authentic tastes and selections

Just getting over a cold I was in serious need of Won Ton soup and chow mein and spring rolls. It arrived fast and super hot. I placed my order on the counter and began carefully pouring the soup stock into the main portion. I decided to try it. I ended up devouring it, while standing at the counter in 3 sessions, so I could breathe. When I was finished I looked up at the sky and thanked the gods (and Dragon King) for making a soup that should be illegal. That noodle Won Ton soup helped me regain health by putting me in a good mood. Thank you! The rest was tasty too!

The food is delicious and great customer service

Ordered Dragon King awhile back - about a 70$ order, food was absolutely terrible. Contacted them and told them what was wrong with the order and how the food was inedible as we had to throw it all awhile. No one would contact us back and just kept saying the manager would get back to us. Well weeks later and still haven t heard back. Would not recommend anyone waste their money here.

Legit dim sum.

I visited on Saturday lunch time It was not busy,yet. We order some of dimsum. We wait more than 1 hour. Also more food was delivered faster to those who came later in the restaurant. Noodles were too soft and not hot enough. I think this restaurant is not recommended for others.

Dragon King was one of our go-tos for the freshness of their veggies, and for chicken balls that actually has a good portion of chicken. This changed last Friday, the chicken balls were mostly bread with very little chicken, and the Cashew Chicken was barely edible, we both had a small portion and couldnt force ourself to eat any more, it looked and tasted like it was several days old with the veggies looking pretty brownish and already spoiling. Heres a pic of our supposed fresh Cashew Chicken, and the chicken was so gristley and stringy, we never finished it and well never return.

If your visiting in Kelowna, stop by here. Awesome, excellent and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Worst place to get Chinese food, waited for an hour just get processed food, nothing is fresh. Tea is charged. Overpriced as well.

Pros: The ginger beef & chicken gyoza were very good. Definitely recommend these! Even my 2 year old ate it! Highly Not Recommended: We ordered the honey garlic chicken and it was so rubbery that you couldnt cut it with a knife, let alone eat it! Very dissappointed and a waste of money.

As I was concentrating on driving, my babys mama told me she saw a restaurant called Dragon King. Since Kelowna is not known for its Asian influence, I dismissed it because the name doesnt sound authentic Chinese (you all know what Im saying). However on my way back down the street in the other direction I noticed the detailed design of the building and was curious to find out more. Upon entering I was impressed by the interior decoration and had to give it a try with low expectations. I give this restaurant my 5 stars as Ive been here twice now and have brought some elders from my family who also approve. We had dimsum and also ordered the house special fried noodles (something we kind of use as a metric) and were satisfied. Im from Vancouver, a Chinese food capital of the world, and as a result, have been greatly aware of the difficulties in finding good Chinese restaurants by comparison throughout the rest of the world. Despite not being located near an ocean for fresh seafood, there wasnt anything that we found to be unacceptable. One member of my family noted that Dragon King is far better than the place they went to in Auckland New Zealand which has a significant Asian population and is also near the ocean. Personally I would say that I havent dared to eat at a Chinese restaurant in the USA (along the Pacific) for over a decade for the same reason. The staff here are very good on top of that and the prices are what I consider pre-pandemic Vancouver which is about 15% lower. I have looked at other Kelowna Asian/Chinese restaurants reviews and driven past to compare but am fairly confident there is no competition overall. Photos to follow.

Food was served really quickly but the quality was really disappointing. Not going to repeat this place again.

Good food reasonable rice and good ambiance

Delicious Chinese food, the Cantonese style noodles are very good, the environment is very good, hygienic and clean!

The food was ok. Paying 2.50 per spring roll you would think they would serve some sort of better quality sauce to dip but it was just the little packets. Nasty. The chili paste on the table went a little off. The vegetables in the kung bao was very fresh. Nice and crispy but the sauce needed a little bit of a better flavor was bit bland. The chicken was steamed and lacked classical Chinese velevting. The gyoza was nice too. The service was good as well. I would recommend it to all due to freshness, definitely a major attribute.

Order from Uber Eats the chicken Kung Bao, curry shrimp and a side bowl of rice. Full veggies, tons of chicken and shrimps, awesome taste, fast delivery, would recommend to everyone!

Ive only been here once and my experience was alright. Its not too expensive if you order the dinner for one and split it with someone, they are pretty large so there is enough for two people. The only thing that I didnt really like is with the dinner for one we were only allowed to change one of the items that it came with. We were told by our server that we couldnt substitute anymore of the items that it came with which I thought was kinda dumb. It gets really expensive once you get into the dinner for 2 +. The atmosphere was kinda plain Jane and think there was only one or two more tables in the restaurant besides us. I didnt find out server overly friendly. I wont be jumping to go back anytime soon but also wouldnt complain if I had to. Thats just my opinion and experience.

This restaurant is on Doordash for food delivery to your home or office. You can call in for take out and pick it up yourself. You can see their menu online. Wasnt too impressed. But thats my opinion.

First time dining here but not the last! Not too busy of a night. Service was very friendly and good. Food excellent. Didnt have to wait very long, food was hot and delicious. We took a dinner for two and the portions very generous. Highly recommend this to all. Decor is also very inviting and cosy, just a great evening.

Visited the new Dragon King location today. I used to rate the food at the old location as good as Vancouver Chinese cuisine, but my recent visit to the new location was very dissaponiting. Food was not what I remembered. Gone really downhill. Probably wont come back again... thats too bad!!

I anit never been to China but this was not your typical Chinese food. I live in Revy, all we have is westernised Chinese restaurant that cant even seem to do that right. The food at Dragon King is proper good. I over ate as i usually do at Chinese restaurants and felt fine afterwards. Usually after gorging at a MSG special all night i feel regret for my life choice but this was not the case at the Dragon King. Spot on guys!

Popped in for a last minute dinner out and was more than pleasantly satisfied with our dishes. Food was served hot, beautifully plated, and incredibly delicious. We ordered three different dishes than we would normally order and really happy we did. The salt and pepper squid, sizzling hot plate and Shanghai noodles were amazing! We will be back!

We got take out from this restaurant. It was really good food. My wife and I were super impressed. The food we had was really good quality. The only complaint would be that they were slow. We ordered our food about two hours before pickup and they were still late. Would highly recommend this place you anyone!

Great food and great service! A fantastic mix of North American Chinese food and authentic Chinese food. I dont eat seafood, but my wife and daughter cant wait to have their prawns again, they said it was the best theyve had!

Solid place for some authentic chinese food in the okanagan. Good size portions and I would average pricing. My only thing was the fried rice was sticky. It might of just been a one off. I definitely will eat here again. Nice ambience and decor.

An excellent choice if you like/love Chinese food. Inside is tastefully decorated. There is a patio which will hopefully open soon. The menu is huge. Great combos for 1; 2; 3 and more. Reasonably priced-service is excellent. We have loved their food when the restaurant was downtown and love it as much today. There is ample parking; not as visible from the highway but well worth it.

Really good ping pong. Little more pricey but worth it. Dry ribs and the 2 part won ton soup , sooooo good!

Ordered chicken fried rice, chicken chow main, and two orders of sweet and sour chicken calls, all of the chicken was soggy, chewy, and full of fat. Never ordering here again. Steer clear.

Great food with reasonable prices

I usually don t write a review for food even if it s not really good or what I expected, but my experience with Dragon king today was just terrible, complete waste of money. I ordered Chicken fried rice and a spring roll for lunch. The food was ready with in 15 mins but most of the chicken pieces in chicken fried rice were uncooked and tasted really bad I couldn t eat it after couple of bites. Same with the spring roll it was just terrible, I had to throw it in trash after just a bite. It made me feel like I am going to get sick. I am very disappointed and will never go here again.

They have fabulous food, an extensive menu, prompt service. Their daily dim sum dishes are delicious and prices are very reasonable. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant!

We enjoyed a very nice meal - ultra clean and well appointed restaurant. My hotpot was cooked to perfection and my husbands beef with vegetables in pepper sauce was beautifully prepared with lots of peppercorns. Service was professional!

I LOVE THEIR LAVER SOUP AND FRIED RICE! their soup is always amazing, altho I would prefer more seaweed but it was such a good combo with their shrimp fried rice.

The Best Dim Sum!!!!

Not good. Im sure they have something they do well on the menu but the chicken dishes I enjoy when done well were not worth eating. When I enjoy greasy fatty foods like this they need to be done well. Im not going to regret the food I ate when I have my heart attack. Almond chicken, lemon chicken, chicken chow mein and rice. All chicken was strangly chewy and not of quality.

The only thing good here was the server. The dim sum was such a disappointment. The shrimp dumplings were a glob of goo with a very nasty clump of shrimp inside...the pork dumplings and meatballs had the consistency of canned dogwood.. the sticky rice wrap had a surprise inside that was a 2 inch hard mystery meat that looked like a wax finger...the pork ribs were bones with mainly chunks of fat...paid $68 for 2...not worth it

Pretty horrid case of food poisoning after eating dinner here last night. My husband, son and myself had a long night reliving this disgusting repast in the bathroom. Just adore it when I get to eat bland, overpriced, revolting food and then spend the next 10 hours in gut wrenching pain as my body tries to rid itself of it.
