Césars place is excellent. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant and calm and the prices are fair. Whenever I can I escape to have some delicious eggs rancheros for breakfast with that incredible sauce. RECOMMENDED by me

Lovely customized cappuccino, wonderful owner and assistant to customize your order. I wore white pants for golf, so they made sure the already clean outside chairs were extra clean. A real food asset to the community. Breakfast was very good.

I HIGHLY recommend the shredded beef eggs Benedict. The FLAVOR in their food here (especially this dish) is immaculate. I went for the first time a couple days ago and I was definitely not disappointed. Staff was very friendly as well. Id be an idiot not to come back. Outstanding work guys. Job well done. Service was excellent. We each had a sandwich. Flavors were good but the meat portion was so little, one thin slice of cold cut. Did not feel this was a good value for the price of the sandwich.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Amazing customer service (Friendly staff where literally every front of house staff member greeted us individual). Super accommodating and patient, really taking their time to explain menu items to my children and help the children pick something they would like. You can really tell that the owners and their employees put their heart and soul into their service and their passion for their culture shines bright in the food that is served. I really appreciate how this restaurant has not tried to keep up with North American trends and have stayed true to their cultural recipes. Definitely a gem of an experience in downtown. The new expansion is also amazingly done with floor to ceiling windows of natural light giving an truly unique open concept experience which is incredibly hard to find in a busy downtown restaurant!

Hidden Gem!!! I came just to check it out and there was authentic music. Cool decor. I wasn t hungry but I was super interested in the food so they kind enough to give me a little sampler and it was authentic as the rest of the place. The reason I wasn t hungry is I m Gluten Free and guess what they have Gluten Free options even for breakfast. It s worth at least a try! Cheers, A Foodie

Ordered breakfast twice, ate in the first time and did take out the second. Both times we ordered the Eggs Benedict with grilled tomatoe and hash browns. Im ill qualified to opine on whats authentic and whats not when it comes to Cuban food. But, I know I love a Cubano Sandwich and this is the best Ive found here in Kelowna. Great service clean looking place too.

The attitude of the server is extremely bad and makes me feel uncomfortable. She keeps urging us to order even we are not all arrived and skipped our table when giving her service. Food is good but the server made the wrong order, also took away my food in front of me and gave it to another table. Not recommended if you are starting your day.

Came here for lunch. Shared a full Classic Cuban Sandwich and fries with my dad. First time trying a Cuban sandwich, and it did not disappoint. It was truly delicious. The sandwich and fries came out so fresh and hot. I also had a iced latte and it was so good! The service was really great and fast. From my experience, I would recommend this restaurant.

I arrived at Place to eat and they treated me very poorly. The lady barely let us talk. She told us that they didnt have a place. If I didnt have a reservation, I couldnt go in and we were going to ask her if we could eat outside since the tables were empty and she told another girl to tell us. They closed at 9 and it was 7:50. In short, the experience was terrible, what a shame because I travel here very frequently.

This was our first time at Soul de Cuba Café. We reserved a table for 6 in advance of the band Major Mambo s show at the café. The place was packed with patrons, and all of the buzz and vibrancy of a bustling, upscale downtown Latin eatery filled the air. We were greeted by Caesar and his team of friendly, welcoming hosts as we settled in. The evening just got better and better. Flavourful, beautifully presented fare and beverages arrived at the table, in the hands of friendly servers, in 5-star fashion which defied the reasonable prices and casual, vibrant atmosphere. The band Major Mambo put on a performance more-than-worthy of the modest cover charge, and entertained us with superior showmanship and musicianship. Passers-by outside were peering in the windows as if to say, What s going on in there? I wish I was in there!! We would highly recommend Soul de Cuba Café!! Buen Provecho!!

We had breakfast here and everyone in my party loved their meals. I devoured the roasted chicken breast sandwich, the mango sauce on it was to die for; just the balance between the initial sweetness and then a little heat behind, wow!!! Id buy a jar of that. Definitely will return here to eat.

This is a wonderful place serving up amazing Cuban food. The beef here is soft, tender and packed with flavour. The people working here are nice kind and easy going. The lighting and atmosphere is bright and inviting. The Cubano Sando is huge and the restaurant helped me even recreate a dish I had many years ago. This kind of level to making the guest feel welcome and satisfied was on a level not normally seen in Kelowna. I will say the dishes were on the higher side of price, but the flavours were huge and tasty. I imagine the cost reflects the rent of this prime location. Live music on the weekends and dancing under the disco ball. Go here for breakfast and enjoy one the the best cups of coffee you are gonna find in the area. This is a must try and return spot

One of my favourite places,the garlic shrimp,sandwiches the classic and ropa vieja is pretty good,delicious but the sangria is good too,omg don t forget try the flan,is one of the best desserts,definitely everything is really good,I m a picky person for everything but this place is one of the best that we have in kelowna area. Go and try! And the service is very nice, clean and relax environment,you never could be wrong going at this place.

That was one of the best sandwiches I ve ever had - my wife. And I agree, the Cubano was definitely up there on the list of the best Cubanos I ve had. My only gripe is that it s kinda pricey - $18 for the full sandwich, $9 for a mojito, $4.25 for a side of fries. Everything was yummy though, and we d definitely go back.

While seated and watching all those that came in and ordered after us get their food, seems somehow they lost our order (even though we had received our coffees). We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, you couldnt miss us. I can honestly say we wont be back. We are locals

Great food. Eggs benny was delicious. Sandwiches are HUGE. Be prepared. Half order is plenty of food. A little pricey, especially the side dishes and cocktails.

Glad we walked in. Fried plantains with mango salsa is A+. Make sure you dip your plantains in the mango salsa and then the hot sauce. You won t regret that.

Perfect eggs Benedict and coffee!

Our Cuban friends told us about this restaurant and we thought we would give it a try for the first time Cuban food. If Cuban people told that that it s good. It must be good. After trying for the first time. We really like the food. Pulled pork, black beans rice, and other stuff. They were all very delicious and yummy. I wasn t sure what to get at first. But very similar to South American Spanish food style.

A couple of years ago, I visited this restaurant, and both my partner and I was shocked about how all the flavour blended so well together in one single sandwich. At that time, both of us were not hungry, so we ordered and shared a full size sandwich, but then we regretted immediately as soon as having a bite. Yesterday, we visited this place again for lunch during our trip to Kelowna, and we were so disappointed.. They changed not only the atmosphere of the restaurant(they moved into newly built building), but also the quality of the food. Sandwich doesnt taste same at all. The server was friendly and their service was amazing, but I as long as the taste is not same, I wont go back

I am moving into the building just above the restaurant so I have been trying many of the nearby eateries. I have been here a couple of times now for lunch, mojitos and today for breakfast. Every time I have been impressed. The service is quick and very friendly. The food is tasty and fresh. I have a soft spot for locally owned family restaurants. Some people complain about the prices, but I found the prices a bit high, but fair for the quality. Corporate restaurants have many advantages over the small family restaurants. So, if I need to pay a couple extra dollars, I am fine with that. Bottom line with Soul de Cuba that they deliver a consistent and quality product with a smile!

Went to Soul de Cuba looking for soul and all I got was a $18 sandwich and a $4 can of coke. The service at this place was never much to write home about even at the old location but its surprisingly worse, the atmosphere is worse, the quality and size of the sandwiches are worse and as if the prices werent already high enough those have gotten worse as well. $23 for a sandwich and a can of pop is not even remotely acceptable no matter how you slice it. This is not an expensive type of food to produce and as much as I loved this place despite the prices I just cant justify the egregious cost for what you get.

Went here for brunch before our boys golf trip and it was exactly what we needed to kick off our round. I got the footlong El Cubanito and it was very filling. I found the ingredients freshly prepared and the flavors really went well together. I recommend adding pickles. My buddy got the Cuban Style Benedict and the shredded beef added a nice Cuban touch. I would make this place a regular!

Went here on a date night to enjoy the live cuban music, and we were pleasantly surprised! The space is kind of small and fits maybe about 12 tables, but it was cozy and full of people. The whole place is very clean, and they have a refreshingly simple menu. It was easy to choose and the food was authentic and delicious! I ordered the Yuca Frita and it was perfectly crispy on the outside and flavourful and soft on the inside. The salsa dip it came with was delicius too! The prices did not reflect the quality of the food, they should be charging more for the food and the drinks. I noticed the space is used as a coffee shop during the day, so Ill make sure to come back! I would recommend this place!

Its hard to find a decent eggs benny and a good cup of coffee... that is to say, both were to my personal liking. The eggs benny was delicious. The mocha was just how I like it. Obviously subjective to your tastes but this spot is well worth a try. The staff were lovely.

If you guys want to have great food. Go visit Soul de Cuba Café. The food is delicious and their staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. They have a kids menu, however our kids loved everything they tried. Our favourites from their lunch menu: are yucca frita and ropa vieja. They also have great live music on most Saturdays.

Yummy food! They have a great breakfast! However, I think their ambiance could be better. Its very bright in their restaurant. I dont feel the vibe to go there in the evening for drinks and dancing. Their lights are like my work florescent lights. I want to feel like Im out for the evening. Not a work. Just my opinion.

I was a big big fan of my time at Soul de Cuba. The service was fantastic, the food was PHENOMENAL (especially the Yuca Frita), and the room is very lovely. I could not recommend more for Breakfast, brunch, and lunch!

First time ordered Cuban food. I ordered 2 sandwiches, 1 was chicken breast as we prefer chicken over pork but decided to order 1 with pork as well and we made a good decision as the pork 1 was outstanding. We didnt like the chicken sandwich as much but roast pork sandwich was good. It also comes with mustard sauce. Staff is friendly. Will definitely order more.

We stumbled on Soul de Cuba Cafe while staying in the neighbourhood. What a gem! We stopped in for breakfast and had the eggs benny. Delicious! We went again the next day for breakfast and had the Cuban eggs benny. BEST EGGS BENNY EVER! The flavours are amazing, and the chef makes the Hollandaise sauce from scratch. I wish I could eat there every morning. The staff are warm, friendly, and so welcoming. What a lovely spot. I highly recommend it. The food is worth a drive if youre not in the immediate neighbourhood. Dont miss out! Dietary restrictions: I am lactose intolerant and avoid gluten. I had no problem ordering my meal to fit my needs.

Amazing food, amazing service, great pricing and friendly staff. Cant go wrong

We have been eating dinners once a month at Soul de Cuba Cafe for over a decade. The food is amazing! We especially like the cheese balls with vegetables and rice. The desserts are excellent as well. Join us the last Saturday of the month starting in 2022 to hear our group Major Mambo play some Sizzling Salsa music and experience the wonderful Latino culture.
