I recently visited Taaz Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The ambience was cozy, and the food was excellent! We ordered the lamb biryani and chicken tikka masala, Garlic naan and lacha Paratha.. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Special shoutout to our server, Jyoti, who made the evening even better with her wonderful service. Jyoti, you were the highlight of the evening, maybe next time we can share more than just the menu recommendations . The only downside was the masala chai, which was a disappointment. But overall, Taaz is a great spot, and I ll definitely be back (hopefully, with better tea next time!).

I had a disappointing experience at Taz Hotel. I ordered fish pakora, which was bland and lacked seasoning, making it unappetizing. The chicken butter was similarly tasteless, and the naan was underwhelming. The shahi paneer also fell flat, missing the rich flavors I expected. Overall, the meal was a letdown, lacking the flavor and quality I had hoped for.

we came from surrey and ordered butter chicken, kadai chicken, shai paneer from this restorant . The taste is far away from original one. They need to change their chef sure.

We ordered dal makhni, malai kofta and some breads, the service was too bad, she forgot to bring pickled onions at first and we also ordered corona with food which was served almost when we were almost done with our food, no one came to ask for any questions about food. Worst experience!

Got to be the worst experience we ve had in Kelowna. Had to wait 20 minutes for someone to take our order despite saying we re ready to order. Got served basic water end of the meal. The server was either sleepy or was sad working weekends. And the music! It s LOUD for humans, maybe normal for animals. Food is basic. Do yourself a favour, DON T EXIST!

We had the non vegetarian thali at Taaz resturant . It was a really good portioned thali. The naans were soft, although we could use one more for the amount of food. The variety of meat and vegetarian dishes, salad , rice was a good blend. They also allowed us to make some substitutions to our liking like the lamb curry for a chicken curry and the dhal makhni for yellow daal. Our friends didn t substitute anything and really enjoyed everything including the lamb curry. The lamb curry had no smell and was tender. We ordered medium spicy level which had a good kick but not too much. The main reason we went here was because it was halal and had the most reviews/highest ratings on google. They told us over the phone and in person clarified that it was halal and that their supplier was two sisters meat and poultry that is based out of Surrey. Overall with our one week trip from Calgary to Seattle and then back to calgary via Abbotsford. We stopped in Kelowna for dinner on our way to Vernon. We all agreed this was the best meal we had during our whole trip. We missed the authentic food flavours and this did the trick without being too heavy. Thank you for ending our trip on a high note. I have been living in Canada for almost 3 years now. Have stayed and lived in almost 2 different provinces and have tried eating in more than 30 Indian restaurants all in all and this is the first time I tasted the perfect Indian food. The taste was exactly what I used to get back in Delhi. I ordered lamb biryani and butter chicken, with garlic naan. The spice level, the quantity, the serving style, everything was top notch. 10/10 Would love to be there soon. Thanks guys

Me and my husband were visiting the city and decided to give this place a try yesterday for dinner. We ordered the non-vegetarian thali dish and a garlic naan. The dish consists of small portions of a few dishes. food tasted amazing and the portion size was very good. All their menu meat is halal. Would definitely recommend trying them.

Very disappointing staff. Didn t let us dine in because we were 5 guys. Just after us group of 6-7 girls went in, they gave them a table right away.

We had a very disappointing experience at Taaz Indian Restaurant.When we arrived, we sent one of our friends inside to ask if they were open and if they had space for our group and the staff refused to accommodate us saying that the restaurant is closed. To our surprise, they allowed a party of ten to enter right after us without any issues and upon questioning gave a lame excuse that didnt make sense.This inconsistent treatment and lack of customer service were very disappointing. I hope the management addresses this behavior to ensure fair and respectful treatment for all guests in the future.

June 28, 2024 around 5.40pm. There was a new untrained waitress. Just now came out after she made me feel uncomfortable. I was dining in alone, she rushed me and wanted me to leave asap and told me she can give me a take out box. I NEVER ASKED FOR IT. And I reluctantly said yes for the takeout box as I felt unwelcomed and rushed. In a span of 15 minutes of me sitting in that empty restaurant, she came up to me thrice to ask if I want to add anything more. Asking once is fine but this was annoying. The 4th time she came up with the takeout box idea. I even told this to that girl while paying. The other waitress with way better customer service skills who recognizes me as a frequent visitor was not around.

We went to their restaurant We were enjoying the place and the vibe of harbour but it was very disrespectful...!!! When owner of the restaurant sat beside us on our table without our permission our privacy was breached, this wasnt nice he ruined our whole experience as our trip was about to come to a perfect ending but that was very disrespectful and I clearly say that hurt my ego....!!! I highly suggest everyone not to go there when that guy is around despite everything please protect your privacy And I also suggest the management to think about this what they did today. Please do clean your washrooms aswell even the barn of pigs smell better

In the parking lot our car got stuck in the mud. but the owner came and helped us immensly for 30 minutes until our car got out. he was truly helpful and determined. this restaurnt helped us inside the shop and outside, truly an excelent place!

Ordered fish and garlic naan from the restaurant(30 match 2024,09:30pm). No ketchup is given with fish and the naan was too dry and thick. Kadahi paneer was also not upto the level of eating. 0/5 recommendation.

Worst Restaurant experience ever, We had to wait sooo much time for our foood, And we came at 8:45 and while ordering , The lady server said Kitchen is about to close so please if you can order quickly and later we saw there were people who keep entering the restaurant and she was taking orders. Secondly, We got our naans served once and She never came back to take order again, when we end up asking, why the service is late? And we wanted to order more stuff and she end up saying ( Tusi v Dekhlo, Mai kalli kam kardi payi aa) is it our fault?? . Would Never like to go there again, Even after ordering more than 100$stuff, We end up eating Dairy Queen.
