Unbelievable experience. The drinks are amazing, but honestly the level of service is unparalleled. That s why you should go. This place is special in a way that defies review. Just go. Try a few cocktails. Take in a show if you can. But go. Take someone special. Life is too short to waste time eating take out at your hotel.

Honestly, been here twice and the service is abysmal. Here at the moment. Have waited 10 minutes and not a server in sight. Maybe its because Im 50? Told the manager and he didnt seem concerned. Follow-up - Ive gone a couple times since and things were much better. Thank you for taking my input into account :)

Came here for birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the food was great.

Top notch spot! My boyfriend and I frequent Bernie s because of their inclusive menu that accommodates my gluten + dairy allergy, but also, because of their friendly staff and overall ambiance. Tonight was an exception however, as we chose to order a dessert for takeout rather than dine-in. We were pleasantly surprised when we were given our dessert (within less than 10 minutes of ordering, I ll add) on the house - courtesy of one of the managers, Logan! My boyfriend and I both work in the industry and understand how tough the slow season can be for both the business owners and their service staff; so, a gesture as kind as this holds even more weight than usual. BIG thank you to your lovely manager, Logan! And we will be back soon!

What a gem in town!! We went to celebrate a special occasion. We had sushis and dim sum, delicious! The manager made a special attention for our anniversary, very kind. Our waiter, Gana, was a delight, so nice and had great recommendations. The movie theater is very clean and a perfect set up to be comfortable and keep ordering drinks and food! Will go back again!

Bernies is a great stop for those who want a unique experience in Kelowna. On our first visit to the downstairs restaurant portion, the waiter was very kind to recommend dishes for us and welcome us with open arms. The food was pretty good, very flavourful and nice portion sizes. Our waiter was even kind enough to hold the door for us on our way out. 5 stars for him:] Definitely worth a trip during happy hour. The pesto fries were delicious but along with the other appetizers, fairly pricey unless purchased during happy hour. For the second visit we tried the movie theater portion upstairs where you can watch a movie while you dine. The concept is good, but I believe the seating could be arranged a little bit better, and the food we received was a little cold, and the candies (m&ms, reeces, etc.), were overpriced. Overall I would definitely recommend for a new experience or date night

Bernies blew my expectations out of the waters with its atmosphere. Walking in feels like going through a boujie time machine. Our server was friendly, and deserved a 5 star rating himself. The espresso mocktail is phenomenal would recommend. Bernies is definitely a more expensive dinner out, if you can go for happy hour its worth your money (pretty sure its the same size as regular too). pesto fries and their burgers are really good. Id book in advance if wanting to go (just for a better seat). The cinema at Bernies is definitely overpriced. It can be fun, but you pay 10 bucks for an older movie which isnt bad, but the prices on any of the drinks and food is outrageous. the seating although comfy isnt particularly suitable for larger parties so definitely call before hand, as well its upstairs and not obtainable for peoples with disabilities! overall pretty good, but will cost you a pretty penny.

One of the best places in Kelowna to visit! The food is great. The movie is affordable and fun and bougie. I definitely recommend the burger on the menu but all of the food and drinks are great!

Had been to Bernies on a previous occasion and really enjoyed it, so went back again. This time however we experienced a less than stellar meal. Our server, while very polite and friendly, wasnt very attentive and we were without beverages for an extended period. Apps came out great but main course (which was delicious) was served lukewarm and took 45 minutes after eating our apps. Sent the main course back and then spoke with Mave the manager on duty at the time. I expressed our disappointment about our whole dining experience. She was very attentive, detailed, and pledged to make things right which she did. We were highly impressed by Mave and because of her exceptional customer service, we will return. Very few restaurants offer that kind of service to make things right and have a customer leave satisfied even with issues. I highly recommend Bernies as a dining establishment that really gives their best efforts.

My husband and I and two friends went for dinner tonight at Bernie s great service from Jana or yanna not sure the correct spelling .. She was lovely. Food was fabulous highly recommend!! Great value for the $39.00 menu. Thank you

3 words: peanut butter pie. Its amazing! Pair it with an espresso martini & you have the perfect after dinner treat. Always have a wonderful time at Bernies & the best food.

Movie was great but dinner was inconsistent for the price. We were there on a Tuesday night. Cons: we were the only patrons when we arrived, yet were seated right next to the front door on a rainy evening with nothing much to see out the window. I wish Id spoken up to be moved to a seat with more ambience. I walked through the restaurant and it looked nice, but we couldnt see much of it. We were constantly disturbed by the stream of people arriving for the movie. Appetizer prawns were nicely flavored but so overcooked they were chewy and tough. Hamburger was very tasty, but they dont have gluten free buns and the lettuce wrap consisted of one piece of romaine lettuce on either side of the burger, making it impossible to eat without messy hands. Cauliflower steak was interesting, but under seasoned. Waited a very long time between appetizers and mains considering we had noted we had limited time when we arrived and the restaurant was super quiet (we had pre-purchased movie tickets and asked whether we should be reserving a seat upstairs and were told that seats were saved for us. By the time we got upstairs we had limited choice with an oblique view) Pros: the Caesar salad was very good. Interesting twist on a classic with roasted Brussels sprouts as crunch in lieu of croutons. The pesto fries were very good according to my date. The movie theatre area is comfortable and intimate and the table service is great. Will definitely be back for movies, but will likely skip the restaurant. Suggestion: If people reserve for dinner in the restaurant and purchase tickets for the movie, actually reserve them seats in the theatre area instead of leaving them whatever seats are left once they finish their meal and all the rest of the movie goers have arrived.

Visited Bernie s as an out of towner. Saw Cabin in the Woods by myself. Great experience, great seating and atmosphere. They made a substitution for me with ease. No complaints except maybe a digital way to order(?) as I dropped my pencil (just had to shuffle around to find it in the dark, not a big deal!) and the tray is a bit small and hard to maneuver for the menus, water, food, ordering sheet and the signal light. The pesto fries were fabulous!

Great stuff! Excited to return. Had the prefix menu, kitchen was gracious enough to give a salad for dessert instead of their (delicious I m sure) sweeter options. Griffin provides gold standard service, very happy he s leading part of the team.

The 3 course dinner was amazing. There is plenty of food with great taste. Cool decor and atmosphere.

Waited over an hour for our first drinks to arrive, despite checking on them after 30 minutes. Never had chance to order more drinks. They seemed short staffed and we were told there were just a lot of orders in all at once. Waited one hour and 45 minutes for our food. (Except for one person in our party who received hers after only an hour wait, which was awkward as she ate her entire meal by herself.) Waited additional 25 minutes for our check to arrive after show ended. Pasta was not cooked fully and food was not very fresh. Friendly service but just excruciatingly slow execution.

Bernie s is our go to date night fun experience from the retro cool casual atmosphere, attentive service, interesting cocktails and delicious food. We had the seafood tower which was two levels of very fresh and tasty raw oysters, jumbo stump cocktail, lobster sushi roll and ceviche. A very good value too as we were very satisfied. We matched our dinner with a road 13 pino Gris although Yenna was our server the other waitstaff made sure our glasses were full the table cleared and made sure we were taken care of. highly recommended!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bernies Supper Club & Cinema in Kelowna, BC, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere at Bernies is incredible fun, inviting, and filled with an undeniable charm. The staff were exceptional, with every single employee contributing to an environment where we felt truly valued and important. My boyfriend and I were so impressed by our first visit that we decided to go back for a second night, even though we were only in Kelowna for two nights. The cocktails we had were some of the best weve ever tasted; each drink was crafted with such skill and creativity that they became a highlight of our evenings. The Scallop Oshi was out of this world. We saw it being prepared, smelled its incredible aroma, and despite having already enjoyed dinner, we had to indulge. Although I remember the names of the wonderful people we met, I ll respect their privacy and not list them here. Suffice it to say, the entire Bernies crew made our visit exceptional. I highly recommend checking out Bernies it s a must-visit spot. The General Manager even gave us a tour of the cinema, which looks fantastic. We re already looking forward to returning for a comedy night or a movie. A huge thank you to the Bernies team you truly rock!

Its a beautiful peoples club. Food is expensive and not a lot of it. Drinks are very overpriced. Didnt take any pictures. Steak and lobster were mediocre. Not a whole or half tail. Maybe canned. Dietary restrictions: GF

The food here was not good. We ordered from the three course summer menu and everything was very subpar. We had to sit outside because inside wreaked of spoiling seafood. Our server was very friendly and attentive, but it s hard to make up for bad food and an uncomfortable atmosphere. Wouldn t recommend.

Want a fun date spot, dinner out, family movie, cool vibe and stellar food? Bernie s is the spot. Must try the seafood tower and walnut shrimp! The chef does a wonderful job with a creative menu that hits your palette just right!

11/10 we were so conflicted on where to eat for our visit to Kelowna. And ohh when I tell you this place did their thing. The food was so delicious. So flavourful, the staff were amazingg. Even their menu for kids was so good. Their Caesar salad was next level. Loved the walnut shrimp and the ebi oshi too. Great place with a great menu

Recently got married at Bernies at the end of May and it was outstanding! Leading up to the wedding, Kerry was so accommodating with every request we had and made the coordination of things very easy. The vibe of Bernies is so fun and we got tons of compliments from our guests on the venue, food and over all vibe. We had one slight miscommunication on timing of the food but otherwise it was 10/10!

I would leave a 5 star review. The service has always been superior here. I m however devastated they took off the peanut butter vegan mouse. That was the best dessert in Kelowna and the panna cotta was not worth it. (Poor Hayden a good sport had to take the brunt of this, great guy.)

Good service and delicious food.

I ve had good experiences at Bernie s in the past, so I bought 6 tickets to take my family to a movie there. The movie was cancelled due to issues on Bernie s side and I was notified that I would receive a refund for the tickets. We still came in a supported Bernie s and got dinner that night. The refund was never received, a manager had reached out a few times mentioning that it was being processed , but it s been a couple weeks now and they no longer respond to emails or calls. I would love to come back to Bernie s, but after this bad experience I can t say I will.

Found a great place for Caviar and Champagne they even have a small theater

Went to silly sally s Thursday comedy show, it was excellent, wait staff and kitchen was overwhelmed but food was excellent, and the entertainment was incredible! Adult humour had us grinning from ear to ear the entire show we will definitely be back! Parking: Street always busy downtown Kelowna, evening shows after 9pm parking becomes free thou! Enjoy a nice stroll with ur date with the inevitable trek from the car to the venue just come early.

Food was good not great. Loved the atmosphere good vibe. Long time waiting for food and bill too. Short staffed so thats the issue. We will try it again see how it its next time. Cheers

Great place, went here with a couple friends who are local that wanted to bring me to their favourite place while I was in town. It did not disappoint, the food was fantastic, the cocktails are artisan and the prices are fair considering the inflated climate of food prices we live in. Great meal, good portions, very flavourful food. Thank you! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Were good with many restrictions. Parking: Street parking, could be an issue depending on when you come. Wheelchair accessibility: Should be able to wheel straight in, tables seem like they could accommodate a wheelchair.

This place is so beautiful! The staff are lovely and the food and drinks were awesome. Love that their happy hour goes until 6. We enjoyed the oysters and the Nashville chicken was so yummy!

We were running late for our reservation, and Logan on the phone was so excellent and accommodating. It was very busy, but all of the staff worked together so well to keep it running smoothly. Our food was incredible, with pretty big portions! We ended up taking our dessert to go because we were so full! The braised short rib gnocchi was incredible! Highly recommend! Amazingly opulent bar, supper club. Top floor has a beautiful theatre/comedy stage. Food amazing and reasonable for the quality. Staff top notch professional. Try the Nashville chicken, caesar salad with brusselspout chips or the Reuben sando... Best ever for those dishes!!

One of the coolest movie experiences I have *ever* had. Dinner, drinks, movie snacks, and The Last Waltz made for an epic date night with my partner. I will definitely be back, and hope to catch a comedy night here soon

Bernie s was recommended to us by a friend and it was one million percent perfect for us. Super fun and trendy aesthetic and the cinema was a great date topper! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The wagyu dumplings are a MUST try to anyone who goes. We will be coming by when we re back in town!

Came in for the Spring four course dinner. It was delicious. Some flavour misses but overall really good. We loved the tuna tostada and walnut shrimp. Beautiful decor and perfect location. We wanted to watch the movie but it was available with the set menu which was disappointing, hope to return for the screening next time.

I recently hosted an event at Bernie s for my debut stand up special premiere. It was an extremely important event to me personally and I wanted everything to go smoothly. Booking was simple and a straightforward process thanks to Kerry. The venue is beautiful setting everything up the day of was carefree and allowed myself to mingle with family and friends without any excess stressors. Logan, the restaurant manager went above and beyond to make sure the smaller details such as a merch table was set up and the servers Ava and Ashlee created an amazing atmosphere for everyone to enjoy the food and drinks while my special premiered. I truly recommend reaching out to Bernie s for your next special event. The atmosphere and space is exceptional and the team goes above and beyond expectations to create a phenomenal experience!

I want to say I am a huge fan of what Bernie s has done and I WOULD give it 5 stars across the board however the recent change to their menu and getting rid of the Bernie Mac Burger honestly left a bad taste in my mouth. Their food options have changed a bit and the replacement burger doesn t measure up and the new seafood option are not that enticing .even to a seafood lover like myself. Their alcoholic drinks are also nothing to write home about. I love coming to this place because of the atmosphere and I have to admit the server staff is always kind but the food prices are definitely a little bit up from the old menu and I feel the more upscale menu for at least the theatre group is a miss. I will be back again and will update my review if needed.

Saw a movie, was a really fun experience with yummy food! Tho they forgot to bring us the dessert we ordered but thats ok. My main complaint is that its SO expensive. $17 to see a very old movie that everyones seen already, then food on top of that?? I can see a brand new movie in a much better theater for WAY cheaper. If the movie was $5 or even $10 itd be a lot easier to recommend

This is a very honest review.. I picked this place when searching for best food and cocktails. Upon entering the ambiance was nice but my husband disappeared upstairs as it said cinemas, he is a movie freak!! I was seated promptly and Stephanie asked where I wanted to sit. I liked that.. Waiting for my husband I noticed the menu had a few cocktail choices, and meals. My immediate response was I wanted to go elsewhere. Boy glad we didnt. I was wrong. The bartender Griff, helped me choose an amazing cocktail, not too sweet as Im diabetic. It was great. Next the food reccomended by Griff, and Logan was wonderful. Walnut shrimp for an appetizer, and Bernie Mac burger, like a big Mac but way better substitute ceasar salad, it was to die for!! I cant say enough about this place except, dont go by first impressions, try it,oh and found out they have 2 other locations with one has a bowling alley, yay!!!! Try that next. Thank you all for an amazing night.......

We tried this tonight and very impressed. Had a rueben sandwich and husband had a burger. Its been a very long time since Ive had a rueben that good. Service at the restaurant was excellent. Husband said it was a very nice place and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely recommend and will be back.

I rarely do 5 stars for everything! They even managed to level up a caesar salad! And the cinema experience was amazing! Cozy and intimate. I wish the couches were more comfy, but that isnt enough to dim my love of this place after just one visit!

Great time at Bernies and had amazing service. We were downstairs and asked about going upstairs to see a movie. The show was sold out but our server checked in with her manager and they were able to arrange some extra seating for us to go upstairs. Food was amazing, venue is very charming. Will absolutely go back.

We celebrated our friends birthday and we had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. The service was wonderful, Jana took care of us well and made our celebration extra special. Great value, we took advantage of the 4 course meal option. Every dish was perfect. The cocktails were very good as well. Hats off to chefs. Highly recommend and we cant wait to come back again. Next time we are going for dinner and movie option. We celebrated my parents 33rd wedding anniversary at Bernies last night and WOW. The host brought up the anniversary celebration right away and brought us a tasty bottle of rosé bubbly! He also didnt hesitate to recommend the best cocktail Ive had in a while (the Free Bird, so good!). The great service didnt stop there- our waitress (didnt catch her name, sorry!) was so sweet, knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. The bartender came to our table to show us some of their new wines available. He was so nice and was knowledgable about the wines. His recommendation surprised us and was delicious (2021 Le Volte). Desserts were as delicious as the food-I especially recommend the Cinnamon/Apple Coffee Cake. All around, not a single disappointment and we cant wait to come back and experience a show next time!

Buns were great, as was the short rib gnocchi, and happy hour appies. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the funky clean atmosphere.

Overall, a great experience. My only complaint is that it was quite busy (not a problem), it was very loud with a lot of sound reflecting surfaces! We will go back because the food and service was far beyond expected!

Super cool atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great food. Fun movies. A unique experience! My only complaint is that it took our food an hour to arrive. I think we were the last to order before the movie started but the wait was a bit intense and we were starving by the time we got it (plus the appie dish was cold and soggy and another dish was straight up forgotten about). That said, everything else was on point. Will be back and would recommend it just be aware you might have to wait for food! Note: We did go back and the food, service & movie were great :)

We were so excited to try this place but it wasn t that great. To start we had a reservation, host said it would be a couple minutes to clear the table and we stood there for 25 minutes and no one ever came back over to us and we didn t get our table. We went straight to the cinema at this point. Server was good and mentioned she d take care of our appetizer for the issue. I like flavour but unfortunately the food was super salty and disappointing!! Even popcorn was too salty and cold/soggy to eat. Would return for the movie and vibe, but not sure about the service and food

Made it up to Kelowna for a little getaway and was so excited to find this gem of a restaurant. Our friends recommended it and did not disappoint. Our server Ashley was one of the best servers ever, Kind knowledgeable and was always right there when a new round was needed. And the walnut shrimp may be the best shrimp dish ever

This place is awesome. Had their cake with butterscotch, apples and vanilla ice cream. So good!!!. Great decor and vibe. Highly recommend

Had a fantastic time. The theatre is great with great service. I love the fact they are playing older movies! I will definitely be returning. Parking: Parking is the usual for a business on Bernard Ave. Use the parkades or be prepared to circle the block to find a spot.

Awesome spot for the dine around Kelowna. Appetizers were great at our table mains and dessert less so but still quite good.

If I were a NASCAR driver who could advertise upon my vehicle the logo of a business, company or brand I believe in, Bernies would be my first pick. Every time I have gone for a movie night, the staff have been so kind to me, my friends, and my family. There have even been times where we purchased tickets for the wrong night, because were idiots, and the staff have graciously accommodated us wherever possible. An example Id like to highlight here, publicly, was the weekend preceding Valentines Day. There I was, just some shmuck, completely out of my element in the realm of dating. However, there was a lovely lady I promised to take out for a night on the town, so I ventured to acquire two tickets for Crazy Stupid Love at 9:05 PM on Saturday February 10th, without success. I reached out to the team; Logan, a beautiful specimen of a man who EASILY could have stolen my lovely lady from me, went above and beyond to help us out. The night was a smashing success: we got our seats; my lovely lady enjoyed her night on the town; and Logan didnt steal her away from me (again, I want to emphasize how EASILY he could have done this - thankfully, his beauty was matched only by his magnanimity). Unfortunately, my lovely lady and I are no longer together, but I will always cherish that night we shared at Bernies Supper Club. Thank you to Logan and the team for making dreams come true.

Food selection wasnt vast but that also made it easy, and they accommodated altering dishes (they made the burrito GF by making it a bowl) I would eat there again. Drinks were great, also a great selection of mocktails that were delicious. Theatre room looked great, restaurant is clean, sitting near windows was cool, needed jackets.

I can t speak highly enough about this business and their amazing staff. I purchased tickets before Christmas but couldn t go to sickness. I emailed to see if I could get the tickets for another day. The emails I received were helpful friendly and made me feel truly appreciated. We finally were able to go and wow, the minute you walk in you re greeted with a friendly smile. The restaurant is super beautiful and the cinema is just as amazing. Cute little booths and seats to watch a huge screen with great sound. The cinema attendants were friendly and above anything you could tell they actually enjoy their job. Pesto fries are the bomb and my son loved the huge bowl of fresh popcorn. I d rate this place a 10/10 for sure! Only downfall was one of my guest seats was at the end in front of the speaker which didn t made it great for her. This would be a great place for romantic date or a family gathering.

Had a fantastic dinner, amazing experience! We were celebrating a birthday, group of 8. They were very busy to be expected on a Friday evening. Stephanie was our server and she was very attentive. I have celiacs and I love short ribs, they have it on the menu with Gnocchi . I mentioned this to her and she went in the back and got a solution for me with the kitchen crew! They went above and beyond for us. We were playing a game to guess the names of the employees and the whole team was super cool about it and played along. Thanks for the great night Bernies crew!

Cozy/fun bar and grill and they sat us by the fire on a snowy night. Didn t have a chance to go upstairs for a comfort food movie but the actual comfort food pesto fries went nicely with the excellent cocktails.

Bernies Supper Club & Cinema is the coolest place in Kelowna! The cinema is my partner and Is new favourite date spot. They have a good variety of old and new films that play, along with vast genres. Their menu in the cinema has a great selection of snacks, meals, and desserts. The popcorn portion is large, which is excellent. The Triple Coconut Cream Pie is insanely delicious. The theatre itself has such cool seats. I personally love sitting in the back row, where the seats are gold and luxe. I could not recommend another place more than Bernies for a date night or girls night out!

The food was great. The pesto fries are tasty and refreshing. The key lime pie is killer. The ambiance is very cool, retro... I was feeling it. Drinks were delish - I had a very good dirty martini here. Perhaps one too many. Our server, Meg, is amazing. Im completing this review on my cell phone right now thanks to her. I left it at our table and she successfully found me in the building and returned it to me. Overall, it was a fun night and we will be back!

Amazing! Movie tickets were a reasonable price, free popcorn with the order of a drink before the movie, amazing service, and the atmosphere was so unique and fun! Food was delicious.

We had a large group and made an unplanned stop at Bernie s. They accommodated us on the spot and had a table set up in minutes. The menu had unique choices for all tastes. We enjoyed appetizers to start and all were a hit! Can t go wrong with the Whipped Ricotta Dip, Fried Brussel Sprouts, Chorizo Nachos, Wagyu Beef Dumplings. The Pretty Bird and Old Fashioned cocktails were the top choices for our table. The entree s satisfied all and I recommend the Wild Mushroom Cavatelli. Our server Stephanie was awesome with our high-energy group. We had a great experience at Bernie s. Check them out!

We recently had dinner here with friends: all first timers. From the minute we entered the restaurant, we felt a welcoming vibe from the hostess and the rest of the evening did not disappoint! The art deco decor is very pleasant and the servcie was good too. Everyone enjoyed their meals especially the tasty steak sandwiches! Our server let us go up to the cinema to take a peek before the show started. What a cool setup. We will be back to do dinner and a movie next time! Keep up the good work Bernies!

We had dinner before a Silly Sally comedy show. The service in the restaurant was amazing. We all enjoyed the food, kind of a different menu. They have a happy hour that goes until 7 pm which had drinks and food! The cinema was really cool. I had ordered popcorn which never came so when we piped up the server brought us some on the house, it was to die for and we really appreciated the gesture! We liked the cocktails as well and felt they were reasonably priced. We will be back!

The service was excellent. I enjoyed the cheeseburger. The fries that came with it were excellent as well.

We went for a dinner and a movie. Unfortunately there was a technical issue which made us start fifteen minutes late. The staff were very apologetic and offered everyone a refund or a free menu choice. We ordered a free tea and pie... Unfortunately the tea we ended up having to pay for, and the pie never actually came. It was a really cool place, the food was delicious, and their staff followed up with us afterwards about the missing items to apologize and offer us a discount next time we come in. Altogether the staff handled the situation very well. Dietary restrictions: They have two selections that are gluten and dairy free, and then a few other selections for vegetarians and such

I had the best service by Mark, Min and Sam sitting at the bar! The food was amazing. Beautiful people and atmosphere makes this place worthwhile. Thank you for such wonderful service and delicious food! I hope to stop by again soon.

Came for appys and dessert. Incredible gyoza wraps and a key lime pie that was out of this world. Staff pays attention to the little service details that matter. Will be back!

Weve been to Bernies multiple times in the past, but our experience on Saturday, August 26th, was unique. We had booked seats upstairs to watch Ghost Busters, but unfortunately, the film had some technical issues. At 7:40p.m they decided to stop trying to fix the issue and sincerely apologized to us. They even allowed us to choose a different movie, and Ferris Bueller was popular. Although it wasnt what we originally planned, it was a fun and nostalgic journey. But what really amazed us was what Bernies did at the end of the evening. In a time where gestures like this are rare, they went above and beyond. Instead of just comping the movie, drinks, or dinner, they comped the entire evening. This left everyone shocked and even wondering how to tip their server properly. It was truly unexpected and greatly appreciated. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Bernies for turning a challenging night into a memorable one for all the right reasons. Your kindness and generosity will not be forgotten. We look forward to visiting Bernies again in the future.

Great atmosphere

Highly recommend the movie theatre experience. Limited seating and seating styles make for a cozy and intimate setting The staff provide amazing service. The menu was delicious and there is an extensive drink selection, with some differences from the bar menu below. We had an amazing evening. Finished with dessert and a nightcap at the bar downstairs. Great concept and perfectly executed. The perfect idea for a date night.

My husband and I both agreed that this may have been the best dinner we have had in a year. We started with the wagyu beef dumplings. They were so flavourful with a hint of wasabi perfect. Then we shared 2 entrees the Peppercorn Striploin and the Caribbean Red Snapper. We ordered the steak medium rare. Although we did find it a little tough, the flavour was delicious, especially with the Gorgonzola cheese topping, and the horseradish potatoes complimented it so nicely. The Red snapper was amazing as well the sauce, mango relish, plantain chips and cilantro was a vibrant taste explosion in every bite. So good! . For dessert we ordered both the Peanut Butter Mousse Pie and the Key Lime Pie. They were both to die for! but our favourite was the Key Lime Pie! It was light and fluffy! not too sweet and not too tart . It was juuuust right! I m from the South, and I ve had many key lime pies in my life. But this one may have been the best ever. On top of all that, we happened to be there during happy hour, so the $7 Sauvignon blanc was a bonus, and our server, Amy was friendly and fun. The atmosphere was also fabulous very chic and cool, but still casual. We will definitely be back!

We came to watch Pee Wees Big Adventure and had dinner with our movie. We had the entire second row to ourselves so we could all sit together and mingle! The food was great so were the servers and the service. Food was very good, huge portions. I cant wait to come back. Thank you for making my birthday so special and nostalgic.

From the minute we walked in everything was fantastic. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. The drinks were yummy. And Ill say it again, the service was impeccable.

I had a very good time here on the weekend. Got in at 5 for happy hour and got to enjoy some great cocktails and nibbles. Food was well done and very tasty. Did not leave hungry. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Knowledgeable about what they were serving. Gluten free options available. Also vegan options as well. Looking forward to when they open the theatre for dinning and movies. If you can get in worth a stop. I was not disappointed in prices for what we received. I am sure it will be a hot spot for dates and events.

Myself and 3 other girlfriends came for a Birthday. We are all local, but had never been before. We will be back again and again. Maci our server was outstanding and the food was incredible! I go to Bernie s often for a drink or two as their cocktail list is amazing. The staff is so lovely, when I come in they always greet me by name and make me feel at home. I took my mother here for dinner and we were completely wow d! Wait staff was lovely and very accommodating to making some alterations to the food so it wasn t spicy for my mother. We ordered their Wagu Beef Dumpling as an appetizer, Short Rib Gnocchi and Noodle Bowl with Walnut Shrimp. I d give this place 10 start if I could. Thanks Bernie s, see you next time!

The food was good. Weird pairings of cabbage with the lobster ravioli. The water served at table in both the restaurant and the cinema was rank. No option of bottled flat water available. Dessert peanut butter mousse tasted like sawdust. Stale base no flavour. The cinema part was freezing arctic cold. Overall a decent experience but not in a hurry to return.

Went for a late night drink and snack. The cocktail was a bit too sweet, but we LOVED the hot dogs. Im usually not a fan of hot dogs, but the buns were excellent, same as their homemade sauce and toppings. I love the vintage/retro decor.

This is a great spot if you re seeking somewhere with a great atmosphere!! There were three of us total and all our food exceeded expectations except one aspect of the Caesar salad with chicken add on. I would love to see them amp up how the chicken is prepared but overall, the Caesar salad itself was quite delicious! We started with: Waygu dumplings Walnut shrimp Mushroom tacos All of these were incredible and I d recommend! Our mains: Caesar salad with chicken Lobster raviolo Spicy noodle bowl Dessert: Peanut butter mousse Apple coffee cake Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Server had a deep cut top off, and my boyfriend made a comment that he would not be comfortable bringing children or teenagers here.

Top class experience the whole way. In Kelowna we live in a pretty nice place with a lot to offer so good dining experiences arent really a surprise. But when you have the this is different in a good way type experience, its worth applauding. 6 different menu items crossed the table for the four of us last night - each was really, really good.

Probably our #1 spot to go when were in Kelowna from now on. The ambiance is unmatched, our server was amazing, and the food and cocktails are beautiful! (The slushie, phew). Cant wait to go back next time!

My group and I visited Bernies for a couple of bevies and a movie and were so blown away by the service provided. The service downstairs was amazing and very friendly. As we moved upstairs for the show the staff continued to be extremely accommodating, answered all of our questions, and ran us through the movie process. They even provided a blanket for our group when we asked if they had any. Food and drinks were great and we will be back!

Super cool spot, the art work and decor is put together so well. Good little late night date spot. We stopped in for martinis (first time ever trying martinis!) and they were tasty. Got a classic dirty martini and the Apple A Day. Both very good, but I recommend the apple one. Super fresh tasting and perfectly sweet, and tastes like real apples! The other person in my party got the wagyu beef gyoza and said they were nothing too crazy, especially considering the price for only 5 pieces. Regular pork ones are better, but the toppings were tasty on these ones. They re a nice treat if you re curious to try them like he was. We wish we timed our night right to stay to see the cinema part of Bernie s, but didn t get the chance. Super cool idea!

Every dish I ve tried here has been amazing my favourite has been their original Wagyu burger, then their non-wagyu version. Their Caesar salad paired with any dish is an awesome accompaniment.
