From the get go, our server Cailin was excellent. The Manager Lindy stoppes by to make sure we were happy. Everything was so good, even to the point that Lindy brought us dessert on the house and then, my mom forgot her leftovers. The table had been cleared by the time she realized it. Lindy apologized(wasn t her fault at all) and made a fresh new bowl for my mom to take home! This is some of the best service I have received in quite some time! Keep up the awesome work!!!

The food is good we had appys and drinks. We were half way through our second drink and the waiter told us we had 10 minutes to finish our drinks cuz they needed our table. I likely wont return.

Drinks and main course were okay but the crispy cauliflower and sticky thai chicken bites were not good at all -- tasted like processed frozen products that were dunked in a lot of oil.

I never write reviews, but this place truly deserves one. I typically avoid ordering from SkipTheDishes because of their poor service. However, since Browns is not available on any other delivery app, and I refuse to order Alfredo from anywhere else because only Browns makes it this good, I reluctantly used SkipTheDishes. Browns prepared my order quickly, but I noticed that the driver assigned to pick it up drove past the restaurant to an unrelated location and sat there inactive. Then, they started driving to yet another location, even further away. I tried reaching customer service through the app chat, but they either canceled my chat request or didnt respond. After finally getting in touch with someone, we argued for 30 minutes about how it had been two hours and my driver still wasn t picking up my order. I requested a new driver, but it was a struggle. Eventually, I received a call from Browns, who informed me that SkipTheDishes had not picked up my order and apologized. It was so thoughtful of them to reach out and take responsibility for something beyond their control. I was able to cancel the order and reorder, letting them know they could just give me the meal they had already prepared from 2 hours ago. But instead, they made a fresh order and even added a free Oreo Jar dessert to make up for the inconvenience. This gesture was so kind, and it really lifted my mood after such a frustrating experience. If you re into delicious food and amazing service, I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely dine in or pick up if you can, as SkipTheDishes service is awful. I hope Browns will soon be available on more delivery apps because Skip is probably costing them customers who dont want to use their platform.

Last night we celebrated my brothers 60th birthday..From the moment we arrived and were seated by the host our experience continued to be awesome..Our server Danielle went above and beyond to tend to all 12 of us. Everyone was extremely happy with their food and drink choices.. The floor manager Lyndie was very attentive and personal, We received complimentary appies for the birthday celebration which Tyson and kitchen staff Rocked!!!! We are all locals and are looking forward to our next visit..A big Shout out to Browns Social House Team You are Fabulous See you again soon. Lynnette.

Ive been to this place 3 times, and have been impressed every time. Surprised I havent left a review yet. Today I ordered the southwest taco bowl (i think), and it was Phenomenal. I dont generally order bowls like that, but I have an obsession with blackened chicken. I would seriously say, one of the top 2 places in Kelowna Ive ever had a blackened chicken dish. Crisp and juicy with perfect spice. And their Cesars are excellent as well, nice and spicy. Server was excellent! Drinks and food came quick. Place just has a great vibe. Plus, its nice and quiet early afternoon. Must come back more often. Keep it up! **addition October 2024. My wife and I came in for Brunch the sunday before thanksgiving day. I had the Steak and eggs. I am not kidding, one of THE BEST steaks Ive ever had. It was seasoned perfectly, and I asked for medium well and thats exactly what I got. Ill have to come back for that again. Excellent food here (wish I took a picture lol) Vegetarian options: Lots of options to swap meat for vegetarian friendly versions.

Went out Saturday night as a party of 4 celebrating a birthday. The server came immediately to our table to get drinks etc, very friendly. Once we placed our food order we never saw her again until it was time to pay for the bill. We waited for our food for a very long time, which one of the food runners acknowledged and offered us free desert (which we declined because service was so bad we wanted to get out of there). 2 of our dishes were really good, but the other 2 were cold and mediocre. No one came by to ask how the food was. We were sitting there with empty plates and needing to go boxes for at least 20 mins as our server walked by helping the tables around us multiple times. Needless to say we wont be back.

First time trying here and the food was tasty but expensive for portion size.I was brought the wrong beer and service was a little cool not friendly or very welcoming which is unusual in Kelowna.Very slow service too considering extremely quiet. Maybe ten people in whole place. Asked about what kind of beer I had been given before before buying another and told I don t know I wasn t your server! Not sure I d go back when there s so much competition and nicer vibes. In fact I wouldn t. Maybe I was just unlucky.

One of the best restaurants in Kelowna. Would highly recommend stopping by. All the staff, including managers are extremely friendly and the overall atmosphere really ties everything together. A friend and I just had the most amazing meal at Browns! The food and drinks were top-notch, seriously delicious. But the cherry on top was our server, Maral. She was an absolute gem, making sure we had everything we needed and more. 5 stars all around! Thank you Maral!

Had a great experience here last night. Always have in the past but yesterday was beyond nice. The food is always good and the Social IPA is always solid but when you have a server and manager that provide a personal touch it makes you appreciate the restaurant, staff, and the culture of customer service. A simple note of a dietary issue for my wife and they went beyond what you would expect to help us out. Thank you Hailey and to your manager for giving us a great night out.

Came in on a quieter evening, and asked for water to start and got water with no ice or lemon/lime...had to look for our Server socializing with other staff and other patrons. Otherwise night at Browns was lukewarm & not positively memorable?

Went for date night here on Sunday, May 12th, I ordered the steak frites, my other half ordered the blackened chicken ceaser. Her food was great, my medium rare steak was rare, close to blue, and way over seasoned. I like salt, and I couldnt do it. Also the fries were soggy, so they remade my meal. This time, the steak was good, but the new fries were soggy/not cooked. The hostess and server were fantasic, but for the price, the steak meal isnt worth it.

They have a bunch of items marked gluten friendly on the menu but most are fried in a shared fryer. I am silent celiac as far as I know (at least as of now being GF 5 months) so I cant say whether or not the burger and salad I had was 100% safe. But I was super disappointed that I couldnt order what I wanted and that their menu is deceptively labeled. Also for the price it was okay but definitely not worth it.

Five adults and one small human ( 1 1/2 yrs old) went for dinner on March 30th. Our server Kaylyn was AMAZING! A quiet mention that a recent engagement was being celebrated and she had a lovely bottle of bubbly opened & served for us! She brought some extras for our youngest guest to keep her happy during dinner as well. Our food was delicious and the service impeccable!

This is a prime example of why I prefer to have friends over for dinner than go out!! Blackened Chicken Ceasar Salad. Maybe half a very skinny chicken breast (it was done well) 4 small silver pieces on a small bed of romaine. If I served this to my dinner guests they would think I was food rationing. I would be embarrassed to serve that to a guest, never mind pay for it at a restaurant. Once again disappointed. A $100. Bill for 2 ppl and I went home to eat.

I am celiac and I felt heard when ordering and dining here! Our server Bailey was very diligent in checking labels of products in the kitchen (icecream, bellini mix) and let me know if it said that it was processed in the same facility as gluten. They were very knowledgeable about dietary requirements and I felt well looked after and safe. Happy to say, I did not get glutened!!!! Food was great. Group of 10 went there as it was one of the few places open to get food. The server barely talked to us and was not helpful when we asked questions. The atmosphere felt like we were completely isolated in purpose. Food : 5/5

We asked the waitress to do a gender reveal for us by putting a colourful flame candle on their oreo cheesecake dessert. She was very helpful and we couldnt of asked for a better place to reveal and celebrate the gender of our soon to be child. Thank you Browns Socialhouse. Great food too!

My experience was excellent overall and the Southwest Rice Bowl was absolutely delicious! I would definitely order it again.

Food is really delicious, service is great, nice atmosphere, we go here quite often for family get togethers. We all love it. I dont really go for the dessert options, as they are few, but Im usually too full for dessert anyway. Vegetarian options: I love their nachos, I get the quesadilla without the chicken. There are more options and you could always modify yourself by asking them not to put the meat or fish in. Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free options available.

I recently went on my birthday. Something got messed up with our reservation, but the team fit us in anyway. All 12 of us! Our server was amazing & food was great!

I was part of a lunch party with 5 other family & close friends. Wed never met at Browns together before and found it difficult to be able to hear someone speak from the other end of the table. Otherwise, the atmosphere was nice and staff were friendly, patient and helpful. I order the tune poke bowl which was yummy and fresh, especially after all the heavy Christmas dinner food of the holidays. Two others had the chicken curry and said they enjoyed it. The dragon bowl was also yummy as were the burgers. All in all, I would definitely go back, though would ask to be seated off to the side with a larger group.

The food is better than you might think. Definitely recommend.

Ecerytime I come here, I feel welcome. No matter if I go there for a glass of water, or a full meal, alone or with company, their staff is amazing. The setting is nicely done. You can choose open (business, party meetings) or intimate (date), I love the fire pit, the lightning, the classy furniture, the atmosphere... Service is awesome. Food is great. Stop by, and enjoy. Youll love it.

Went on a lunch date with hubby. He was really happy about the butchers burger and I had the fish tacos which were really great. The fish had a nice light flavour with a light crispy batter with fresh made guacamole and Pico de galo. The sauce had a nice taste with a small hint of spice (I am a baby with spicy food so this was perfect). Substituted side for Caesar salad which had the perfect amount of sauce. Hubbys burger was juicy and flavourful (hes a meat guy so he would have preferred a thicker patty). He substituted his side for yam fries which he said were probably the best hes had in town and the sauce was so good he had to ask for more. Parking: Narrow parking spots which is a bit harder to manage with a van and a truck.

By far some of the best customer service I have ever experienced, I ordered dinner for my wife and I as I was trying to surprise her on valentines day and skip the dishes would not assign a driver. I called into the restaurant to inquire and the manager offered to drive the food to my house as he was almost done his shift. He called me back 2 minutes later and got a skip driver to take the delivery and remade the food so it was fresh. I cant say enough good things about that experience, its the same level of service that every store should strive for. Thank you guys!

The size of the meal (Dragon Bowl) was shocking for $26.00 before tax and delivery fees.

I found the food to be average at best, the size portion for the bowls is depressing. I dont really factir price as much because costs have gone up everywhere, but unlike other places you try to compensate elsewhere. Here the servers were more interested in back of the house conversations than actually doing their job. When youre charging more and your portions are small make up in taste, or service. Two days later I was at a different restaurant, similar price point, slightly higher, but the chef came out after the meal and asked how everything was. This was a great touch, they got 5 stars despite being more expensive.

Great lunch - terrible service. No salt/pepper even though I asked. Had to walk around and get my own coffee. Had a refill, no additional sugar or cream brought to the table even though I asked for some. No tip for her. Horrendous service...and it wasnt that busy - so no excuse for it.

Went to Browns last week for the first time in a few yrs. The food was excellent. We had the loaded nachos with chicken. So good! So good in fact, we went back again this week. Browns always exceeds my expectations. Ive been here countless times over the years and have never had a bad experience. The staff are always cheerful and friendly, the service is well paced and effortless. Drinks are always tasty and the quality of the food is great too!

My dining experience tonight was extremely disappointing. We specifically ordered chips and guacamole as an appetizer as it is something that should be quick to get to the table, we emphasized multiple times that we wanted it to arrive before our main courses. We were hungry and hoping to have something to munch on while waiting. Unfortunately, despite waiting for quite a while, it became evident that our appetizer was not coming or they would try to serve it at the same time as our main courses. When the waitress brought out our main courses, the appetizer was still nowhere to be found. We had to request its cancellation and removal from our bill. To our surprise, after paying the bill when we examined it, the chips and guacamole were still listed. This led to an uncomfortable situation where we had to approach our waitress and request a cash refund, then wait for her to get her manager and wait to receive the refund. On top of all this, even the quality and flavor of my beef dip was underwhelming. The overall food, service, and professionalism at this restaurant were highly unsatisfactory. Edited to add it is now the next morning and my stomach is in knots... if you get my meaning, the beef dip didnt taste great and tasted a little off BUT I was super hungry so tried to ignore it still I only had half since I didnt like the flavor regretting that now.

We have been coming to Browns for just over a year, we try 2-3 times a month and I can honestly say that we have never had bad food or service. We were in yesterday and Daniela was looking after us, she was amazing. I normally order the same thing each time, Daniela told me about a few of her favourite dishes, so I m going to try them on my next visits.

July 30th/23... Prices for breakfast have gone up and with just one piece of toast now! That makes just zero sense. The female server in the patio area can be nice too to not just her direct customers. She seems to be playing nice to her direct customers for tips as I am no dummy. Just a solid opinion on observation. Be nice to all who are there as geez I only had the odd question. The bartender guy was nice though! I had no idea he was taking our order though as it was not told to us and she brought us the coffee and tea, geez. 3 stars now darn based on yesterday. Below was 4 yrs ago... Much better! 4 stars now after I felt ripped off by a server two times ago. Was addressed nicely back to me by the manager who valued my opinion and that sat well. Went in yesterday and much better service so thanks. 5 stars IF you can have more of a variety of sports on and seating mostly does not point at the tvs so you get a neck strain trying to watch certain sports.

Its a typical browns. I went twice in two weeks. Both times the lager had flakes in it cause the draft lines were dirty. They didnt rectify the problem after a week knowing about it. Ive also had poor service a couple times.

Very bad customer service .

First time I visited Browns social house on Harvey Kelowna and will not be going back there ever again even if the food was free. I had a better and cheaper meal at one of the restaurants on the harbour by the lake with lake view. I and my wife spent $82 at Browns Social house and spent $69 at a different restaurant by the lake ordering the-same meal. The later tasted fresher, nicely cooked by a pro chef and cost way less. On top of that I had a lake view seat and the atmosphere had a great vibe, nice music, lots of things to see.

Love this place. Even in near 40 degree heat and a broken air con they are still friendly! Food is yummy and happy hour drinks are good! Love the dynamite roll, will keep coming back for that!

We finished a day of shopping in Kelowna and before we hit the road home to Penticton we stopped for food and bevy s, our server Daniella was AMAZING she made our visit memorable and we will make the drive back because of the service and spot on recommendation of menu items!! Everything was delish and the cocktails were spot on! 12/10 reccomend! And I hope you get her as a server Kid-friendliness: Our kiddo had a blast watching her self in the mirror and hanging out :)

Always great food great service

Have been there three or four times. Each time the food has been sub-par but this last visit was worse - everything was super spicy, even the nachos had been peppered to the extreme with cumin or paprika. The kitchen is slow, you wait a lot after ordering. The table service is sporadic and inattentive. No kids menu. Expensive wine. I do not recommend.

The menu was fabulous! So many different selections and fun foodies! Service was beyond amazing! I have found my new go to restaurant Will definitely be refering friends and family here. Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options. Parking: Im sure if it was the weekend the lot would be full.

My wife tried to redeem her $50 Browns gift card and was told it could not be activated because she did not have the packaging for the card. These gift cards are challenging. After originally posting this. The Manager of the location reached out and looked after the problem for us. Thanks to Ryan for thos. This seems to be a common problem so be careful to read the fine print on these cards!

Having visited various Browns venues we were left feeling very dissapointed tonight. 1. One meal, chicken on a gluten free bun, NO Chipotle or mayo, came with some sort of dressing. When enquired what it was we were told it had been changed only to have the same plate returned. Despite trying to attract a server, we were left to scrape the dressing off. 2 fish and chips were the most dried out portion of fish i have ever tried to eat. Again no one checked how the meal was. When the plates were cleared away clearly with a substantial amount of the meal left, no comment as to if everything was sayisfactory. The venue was not over busy and so i feel the lack of customer service was non existent. Such a dissapointing meal.

Great experience at Browns tonight! Food was great! Gotta try the Baked Carrot cake if you are a fan. It comes with a really good butterscotch sauce that makes it feel like sticky toffee carrot cake with ice cream!

Had a tip to try out their Alaska Highway gravy with some fries, and having grown up in the North I was curious enough to do so ... and it is good, good, good (worth the extra charge)! Im a pretty good gravy-maker myself, and this definitely ranks high ... and my burger was great, too.

Left to sit for more than 10 minutes without being acknowledged by the server. Table filthy. Water served in glassware was filthy. Server was more than useless and not welcoming in any way. Walked out. Stark difference from the Coquitlam Browns where the restaurant is clean and the team more than happy to create a positive experience. Do better Kelowna Browns!

Browns Social House virgin - excellent. Had the butter tofu - perfect and some of the best naan Ive ever eaten. Server ( sorry doll I didnt catch your name) went the extra mile, 2 actually. Cannot wait to go again!

Good food and service! I would have given a 5 but felt the seating was very close to the next table.

We ordered 5 meals on skip the dishes and the driver left 1 of the bags with one of our meals in it. One of the employees called us to let us know and drove it out to us on his own. The roads were snow covered and still snowing pretty heavily but he still delivered. Im beyond impressed with service like that. Thank you Browns social.

Great service, good food.

I enjoyed our visit for the most part... The food was delicious. We ordered hot wings for an appy, and the tacos and a chicken burger. It was slightly annoying that the tables were so crowded together that staff and other customers were bumping into our chairs to walk past our table. Just seemed odd to have tables squished in like that.

We have been ordering from and eating at Browns Socialhouse for so long, and it has consistently blew our minds everytime. The food is so amazing my fave is the cauliflower bites and spicy ranch. The service is amazing, the time our order ran a bit late on Skip the Dishes they called to let us know and offered us a coupon for next time. 12/10 guys!!

Vegetarian options: A lot of my family are vegetarians and there are a great range of dishes for vegetarians.
