Cactus Club Cafe Banks Road in Kelowna

Loud environments, mind-numbing music on repeat. Its hard to have conversations without raising your voice. Expect mediocre food, nothing special even though youre paying 25-30 for a meal. Portions are okay for some meals, while tiny for others.

Great experience at this location. Its not comparable with the DT location s view, but the interior is modern and cozy! It was a packed afternoon so it took a while for our order to arrive but we were well taken care of by an experienced server. My husband got the steak which was super yummy and I got the burger which was good, pretty much similar to any other burgers in restaurants that lvl! Vegetarian options: I heard the table next to us ordered vegan food! Also lots of vegetarian salad options. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs but I wouldnt bring my toddler here since it was pretty packed with %80 elderly people!

Had an amazing meal. Krystina M was incredibly attentive,one of our dishes was not as expected and on overhearing this she went above and beyond to ensure that my fellow diner was taken care of. It is so nice to visit a restaurant where servers are attentive and observant to the point of drinks being refilled without one noticing. And it is equally appreciated when your conversation is never interrupted and yet the service remains exceptional. I will come back to restaurant again on my next trip through town. Krystina thank you for making lunch greater than expected, if Cactus club maintains the same quality of service from all of its staff then the chain has cracked the recipe for success in the restaurant industry.

A beautiful fall evening and my son and I walked Mission Creek and then decided to go to Cactus for dinner. Omg from the lovely fellow Libran who seated us to our waitress Tessa M topped off with the yummy quesadillas that Tessa suggested, it was top tier service. We totally enjoyed our evening and we will definitely be back. It was a wonderful experience.

Sat at the bar watched the Bengals/Ravens game and had outstanding service. 1 Young woman and 3 guys working were right on top of things and super friendly. I had the Tuna Stack minus avocado and the Teriyaki Bowl, both were excellent. Would definitely recommend and come back.

I really like the Banks Road location. More intimate in the dinning area and it s not too noisy like the one on the waterfront. Tasty menu with friendly staff and excellent service.

My partner & I went here for a celebration and it was amazing! We had a reservation so we only had to wait maybe a minute before being seated, and our host was very tentative & personable! We got the Avocado dip as an appetizer and it was delicious! For our mains, I got the truffle parmesan chicken, 10/10! My partner got the Rigatoni Bolognese and she also rated it 10/10! Would definitely recommend for some amazing food & the perfect place for a date night! Dietary restrictions: My partner is allergic to mangos & our host was very knowledgeable about what did and didnt have mangos in certain items, as well if the mangos could be removed or not (the sushi items).

We were part of a party for a 19th birthday on Sunday October 6th 2024. I want to give a shout out to our server employee #1754 Maxwell T. . He was fabulous! Kidded with the birthday boy which made us all laugh. He was very attentive to our drink and food orders and our food arrived all at one time so we were able to all together. Food was great and we all had a very enjoyable evening.

Such a great meal! Brought our cousin from Scotland for dinner and he was more than impressed! Thank you Chloe for the best experience. She was so attentive and quick! Vegetarian options: I got the Sichuan tofu lettuce wraps!

I usually like going to Cactus Club. But I have the worst experience going at this Kelowna location. I ordered my food and wine and nobody offered me water for 15-20 minutes. In last I have to ask someone for the water. Whereas I saw water was being served immediately to other guests. I am not sure I got this treatment because of my brown skin color. Overall food is always good but highly disappointed with the service. I Will never visit again at this location.

Burnt Chicken Sandwich. It wasnt very good at all. And the prices were crazy.

Had a wonderful Happy-Hour lunch today. The staff was so friendly, service was spot on, food delicious. We ordered the Cheddar Burger and the 8oz CAB Sirloin. Both cooked beautifully. We talked to the hostess for a moment about her trip to Italy. We mentioned we would be going and had a very nice conversation with her. When we received our bill the Sugar-free Margarita and tea were taken off the bill. What a nice surprise. Quite amazing actually. Always a nice time and great experience at the Banks Road Cactus Club. Will see you again very soon. I especially love the SZECHUAN Chicken Lettuce wraps but I have that every time I go so thought I change it up this time.

My family had dinner here, we were crammed in a table on the patio, the backs of our chairs touching the guests backs of chairs behind us. I was sat on the end of the table (as we were a party of 7) every drink, and plate are passed right over me left my experience quite disruptive and not enjoyable. Every patron walking to their table hit my chair as they left little room for anyone to manuever whether seated or walking to their table. The food is usually good, i found it also bland and lacking the usual flavour. The service was however great, and much appreciated. However we wont be choosing this as family dinner spot any longer.

Came for Dinner with my family food was great! We all got the lettuce wraps but one of them seemed to be a very noticeable smaller portion. We explained our issues to Nicole and she handled it amazingly, the manager Maddie came over and was very dismissive of the issue and didn t even mention it the first visit to the table, Nicole had to send her back. Nicole s service was outstanding!!

I Had a lovely night for my girlfriend s birthday the atmosphere was great, and the hostesses were very kind on our way in sparing no time to get us to our seats. We were greeted by our server max, who was wonderful, and attentive such as keeping our water topped up and table clear and spacious all evening not to mention our food can out very quickly; over all great experience 5 stars!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely night, we went for my birthday and our server for the night was Max. He had a sense of humour, was kind and attentive, checking in frequently, and always there the moment we needed something. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the Truffle Fries. The Key Lime Pie is a great dessert for when you want something sweet, but not heavy after dinner. Overall atmosphere was fun, easy-going, and enjoyable. Definitely coming back soon.

We always have great food and service at Banks Rd. Cactus Club Kelowna. Yesterday was no exception. We are thrilled to see ceviche back on the menu and thoroughly enjoyed it as our appetizer. Our server, Brandon was friendly and attentive without hovering. This restaurant remains my favourite casual dining restaurant in Kelowna!

I had my birthday here a few weeks ago with about 14 people and it was ALL so delicious and my server was so lovely. I do wish we could have has the same server for both table to we good mingle more among the group as we had to split up. We also got takeout last Saturday and it was still so good. I love their standards when it come to service and quality of the food.

Had a lovely meal last night at the Cactus Club on Banks Road in Kelowna last night. The food was great but our server Nicole was much better than the food! She was not only completely professional but so kind and friendly. We were a bunch of over 60s and I can honestly say she was one of the nicest young ladies who has crossed my path in awhile!! My biggest complaint about last night was the outdoor seating is rather noisy! Not from the traffic but the acoustics are horrible and the music was too loud! I do understand it is more a young persons place but some of us old folk do still think we are young and love places like this but the music sould be turned down a bit! Again want to let the management know that you have a treasure in Nicole. Treat her well and make sure you are as kind to her as she is to her customers! Thanks Nicole!!

Love that we can make a reservation online and avoid the line up on a Friday night There was a vibe but not so loud we couldn t have a conversation. The food was great because of your dedicated GF fryer and Laia was friendly, fun and professional. Highly recommend for a dinner or evening out, even during the playoffs
