Central Kitchen + Bar in Kelowna

Three of us girls came into Central for a glass of wine and a few snacks. We had a wonderful manager come to assist named Ishwin to help us with recommendations. He was very accommodating and our eat tress was too. Highly recommend this place. Great service and food!

Came here for lunch. I had the Big Poppa burger. Insanely good. Perfect blend of pork and beef. Wonderful charcoal flavor. Just the right amount of spice. Tyler is a very helpful server with just the right amount of table presence. But know that it is LOUD! This will be my go to place for burgers in Kelowna!

Central Kitchen + Bar in Kelowna is our go-to brunch spot, with an amazing atmosphere and friendly service. I tried The Vintage burger, and it was excellent packed with flavor and cooked just right. A top choice for a relaxed and satisfying meal!

Since opening date we have never had a bad experience. The atmosphere, quality of food are matched with top notch service. Recommended to many people and have some of the best burgers in town.

I went to Kelowna to visit my daughter and his friend in college. I ordered burgers, pizza, Thai noodles, and cheesecake. I was satisfied with everything and had great dining memories before I left Kelowna with regret.

Everything at this restaurant was absolutely amazing. From the dirty truffle fries to the pasta, every single dish was perfect and tasted out of this world. The flavors were spot on, and the quality of the food was beyond impressive. I honestly didn t expect it to be this good, I m so glad I gave it a try. One of the best meals of all time. Great spot to meet up with friends. Awesome menu!

I don t want to slam the place based on a policy, and they have great food, but my wife and I and my 5 month son and grandma were made to wait in the arena to finish our outside coffees. In the downtown area, coffee shops are common, and we would have still ordered drinks. Headed to Train Station and they were able to use discretion (and not even mention it) and seat us. Just want management to consider that when we have a child, we can t always wait. $200 service was on the cards. I ll return next time though.

Food and drinks are spectacular, you can literally order anything on the menu and I can assure you it will be 10/10. Service is always great too! Last night Daniel was our server and he took really good care of us. My favourite ceasar is the central ceasar, definitely give it a try!

This is a fantastic restaurant which has a good variety of delicious, unique dishes and cocktails. Some really cool ideas on the menu - theres something for everyone. Very rarely do I have a hard time deciding between 4 or 5 things on a menu... Ill have to come back!

Our food was pretty great overall. We had two salads, a chicken sandwich, Bao buns, and chicken strips as a group and no one had any complaints about anything there! That being said, service was a bit inattentive and slow.

Seemed like Kelowna locals go to spot. It was packed. The waitresses and hosts were lovely. Super cheerful and smiley. I had the pad Thai which you would think would have been alright, but it was surprisingly good. Good portion size as well and not ridiculously priced. Great time Food

Went for our anniversary as we had heard good things but was disappointed. The food took quite a long time to come out and when it did the order was wrong. Pizza was dry, fries very salty. Never got water though we asked numerous times.

Amazing service and good atmosphere. The food wasn t great though. We heard a lot about central kitchen & bar and were hoping for much more. But, I have to say that the kids burger was good and our son loved it. PS: not so flexible with the dietary preferences. As an example, if you want an all beef patty, you won t get it here.

Highly recommend Central Kitchen and Bar! My husband and I enjoyed our dinner so much we went back the next day for lunch!! The food is amazing the staff is super friendly. I wish I remembered our servers name to give her an extra shout out! However, huge thank you to Ishwin (assuming a manager) he was amazing he even brought our dog fresh water on yes their pet friendly patio!! Can t say enough about this place!! 5plus stars!!!!

Burger patty seemed like mostly bread crumbs..chicken wings were questionable...furniture is worn ..hockey game was loud through what seemed like cheap speakers...we couldnt get out of there fast enough

Cant beat it in Kelowna for food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. The Korean BBQ pizza is fantastic, and the same can be said about the poke stack. Always great beer on tap with an option for almost everyone. Great patio too. Parking: Limited number of free spots, and paid parking fills up quickly due to location.

Love this place! We visit every time we come to Kelowna. We were late for our reservation but the staff were still very welcoming and accommodating. As usual, the food was amazing. Our server, Jaelyn (hope I spelt right) was so sweet and attentive. Highly recommend this place

They re great at accommodating gluten-free dairy-free! I was able to get a burger with no cheese, butter, etc. and didn t get sick. However, that is the only thing on the menu that is gluten free (other than salad). My partner ordered fish tacos - they were drizzled with liquidy guacamole. The guacamole used at least a small amount of spoiled avocado and it ruined the whole dish. The burgers are pork and beef mixed. They were great at accommodating kids, the server was nice and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was as expected. Kid-friendliness: High chair, kids menu.

We quite enjoyed our first time there, my parents loved their beef dip. The Koren chicken burger and the chicken club were both really good also! Prices are up there but thats the new norm.

It was ok. We came here based off the reviews. I feel like there wasnt a huge selection of food. Everything was a little different. We both tried something that wed never go for and we werent fans. The windows have no coverings and half way through dinner I was completely blinded for the rest of our dinner by the sun.

First time visiting and I was very impressed. Our hostess was amazing, I think her name was Adeson? Her amazing customer service alone will be a reason to return. My friend and I sat at the bar and were greated promptly, and service continued throughout our night without a hitch. I highly recommend going to central Kitchen for both drinks and food. And if you can get lucky enough; get greeted by Adeson!! (sorry if I spelt it wrong). Great job everyone at Central, see you all again soon.

Went for dinner tonight and it was amazing. Staff were super accommodating and the food was delicious. Special shout out to the observant staff who saw my daughter eyeing up the peach slice on my drink. Without any prompting, came over with a second candy because he knew we would need it! Will definitely be back and will recommend this place to everyone we know. Oh and they also have the best kid booster seats of any restaurant we ve been to. Kid-friendliness: Amazing booster seats, coloring items, great kids menu, friendly to our kids.

This place has been a town favourite for many people for years. Between the quality of food and exceptional services from everyone that works there. Many regulars here and for the right reason. If you haven t been here before I highly suggest trying this place out. Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options available. Dietary restrictions: Many options to accommodate the customers. It was our first time at Central and it was awesome. The place was packed full of happy customers. The atmosphere was awesome. Upbeat, fun and exciting. There was a DJ playing music and the servers and staff were exceptional. Our food was extraordinary. Beyond delicious. We had the sweet chilli wings to start, they were crispy and perfectly seasoned. I had the cherry bomb chicken sandwich and my husband had the dill chicken sandwich. My cherry bomb was the best sandwich Ive ever had hands down! My husband said his was also amazing. And the truffle fries!!!! Definitely recommend them! All food was amazing! We will back for sure! Thanks Central!

How has this received an average 4.6 stars? The burger was so disappointing - the patty was absolutely awful, clearly frozen cheap meat. The toppings were good (mushrooms, cheese etc) but you want a burger for the patty and it was so dry and bland. Id expect better meat from a greasy burger van.

Everything about this lunch dining experience was extraordinary! From sitting on the deck to the impeccable service. Not only did the owner come by to bring a gluten-free menu to my friend but our server was extremely friendly and made us feel like we made the right choice in coming there. The food was outstanding. I had the chicken sandwich with cherry jam and goat cheese and it was delicious! I am always into new and interesting combinations and this one didn t disappoint. My brother had the pb&j burger and he said his was outstanding as well. The staff was friendly and even changed the channel for my husband on the TV when he asked. The food came quick and everything was very tasty. This is an excellent spot in Kelowna!

I ve been coming to Central for many years now. The service always goes above and beyond any where else in Kelowna. They really take care of you and make you feel welcome here. I had Kristen as my server this past week and she is hands down the best waitress I ve ever had. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed the calamari and the fried chicken. I had regular. A friend had korean also liked.

Ordered the Salmon Rose Papperdelle. Tasted good but overpriced for what you get. I don t think I even got 1/2 ounce of salmon in the meal.

Our server was amazing the host we think was the owner or manager very professional and humble. Wings and burger was amazing it was our anniversary the host brought us a lemon strawberry cheesecake in house made super amazing. Really recommend hitting this place up. I know every time we are in town this will be our go to spot.

Jalen is amazing!!!!! We came into central as a large party and not only was she the sweetest server we ve ever had (and we re industry and seasoned) she was very attentive and took her time connecting with all of us while still getting us our drinks and food in a timely manner. My lettuce wrapped blue burger was tasty but the fries are surprisingly bad. Undercooked frozen fries with weird seasoning salt that I m pretty sure contains sugar. Common guys, really awesome fries with sea salt aren t that hard to make. If people are paying your prices it means they re treating themselves, make it worth our while! Dietary restrictions: Low carb options are passable but could be better. Many people are looking for low carb for autoimmune health, stop putting sugar in things that don t need it leave it for deserts

Central Kitchen in Kelowna is an absolute hidden gem! The Wagyu Sushi Press is a masterpiece - the flavors are a delightful dance on the palate. And dont even get me started on the Korean Crispy Chicken Sandwich - its a flavor explosion that left me wanting more. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere inviting, and the entire experience was nothing short of extraordinary. A definite must-visit for anyone in Kelowna!

The Ahi Tuna was great! Big rave for the beef dip!! Fantastic service! This is a very small place so on weekends be prepared to wait to get in. Its all worth it.

Though it was busy they managed to squeeze us in rather quickly. Despite our table being reserved we were out before the time as the service was quick. We also didnt feel rushed despite knowing the table was reserved for after us. Parking: Parking can be somewhat difficult to find as there is not much, but thats par for the course downtown.

Had a fantastic return to Central last night. It s been a few years and it s still fabulous. We were welcomed, greeted and seated and had a great experience from start to finish. It was hard to resist the burgers as they were flying out of the kitchen and they were as good as they looked. We will definitely make it a more regular downtown stop.

Parking: Free because it was evening. Hard to find a spot and had to walk in -27

The done around menu is fantastic. Best beef ribs and desert I ve had anywhere. Great value, service and experience. Love this place.

Took 20 minutes to get our drinks after ordering , food is ok but menu kind of small .

I have no idea why this place has high ratings. Great and friendly service but bad food and its way too loud The burgers are a combination of beef and pork which taste weird and has a strange texture. The ketchup is their own recipe and not good at all. The music is loud which causes everyone to talk very loudly which means you cant hear people at your own table. They did allow us to make a reservation with a large group which is nice.

I recently ordered food from Central for a networking event and it was a major hit! Their menu is hands down the best in town for regular, gluten free & vegan options. It was nice having such a large assortment of appetizers for our attendees and everything was delicious. The general manager, Rob, helped put together a menu for 30 people and got everything ready to go for the day of our event. All we had to do was swing by to pick everything up. Without a doubt, well be turning to Central again for our next event. Its a true gem in our local community! #SupportLocal Vegetarian options: Lots of regular, vegan & gluten free options.

Super cool place. The atmosphere was great and food equaled it. We had a larger party. The staff was very accommodating to some food and diet needs and the kitchen did a great job with it as well. Cant wait to go back.

Bro you know this place SLAPS. Renos make for a great atmosphere, too. Couple delicious vegan options for ya boy gets an immediate 5 stars. Cant wait for them to add another. Portobello burger got that good ahh sauce, boss, but wish it had some protein added (ya boy hungry yk). So good I had to take a couple bites before snapping them shots Housemade ketchup is actually GOATed ( I need the recipe)

The chicken sandwich special was great. The everything nice burger was good, and the Cajun chicken on our friends salad was very salty, but was fine other than that. Interesting atmosphere, the restaurant is in a volleyball court gym. Kid-friendliness: I brought my 4 month old and we got seated, we were able to wedge her car seat between the table and bench back.
