Gulfstream in Kelowna

I recommend the Burger and asking for the veggies. Very quick service, didnt have to pay for parking. The food came quick and tasted really good. My server made a great recommendation for beer. Its a good place to eat alone, and good tasting food with good portions. For hotel food, it was fantastic and gave a keg or a milestones vibe. Parking: Paid parking, but they give you a free 2 hours if you are just dining Kid-friendliness: More for Young Adults to Adults. Wheelchair accessibility: You can get into the building. If you want to eat Barside all the tables are high tables or high booths; so you will have to sit in the dining area.

Food was good but they charged us more for the turkey drumstick confit than what is listed on the menu. Menu says $26 but bill was $28 each, and we ordered multiple. Sort of annoying.

I wasnt very impressed with my recent visit. The burger was not seasoned and the side of fries was a very small handful. The Chicken on the flatbread tasted like it was microwaved and was dry. For the high prices, I expected more. I leave disappointed.

I am late in reviewing the Thanksgiving takeout dinner for 10 but just have to give my accolades for such a brilliant dinner! The food was amazing and my guests were impressed. The best thing: no prep and everything was hot and delicious. I would so recommend this option to others. Two bottles of wine were included which were just amazing and delicious. Thank you Gulfstream! You have taken the anxiety out of entertaining at home for me.

Drinks 5, staff 5, food 5 music -18472. Wow is it horrible. Grown men are crying at the bar it s so sad. Do everyone in the world a favour and change the music. The fact the amazing staff have to listen to this is my life over music is so bad. Just change it!

Golf Stream is a gem conveniently located close to the Kelowna airport, making it a perfect stop for travellers. I enjoyed the best burger I ve ever had the Prime Rib Burger even though it was technically still breakfast hours. Our server, Chad, made it happen by asking the chef to make an exception and it was worth it! The flavors were outstanding and Chad s attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile made our experience memorable. Highly recommend Golf Stream for top-notch service and unforgettable food! Next time I m in Kelowna, I ll definitely be visiting Golf Stream again!

Nice place to hangout in while waiting for a plane departure. Right across the road from the airport. Our server was so friendly and fun. Good menu, and a nice deck to kick back on.

First time in beautiful Kelowna, we visited Gulfstream restaurant at the Sheraton hotel for dinner. Very tasty souvlaki, with grilled vegetables and fresh crispy microgreens. Food, atmosphere and service I highly recommend.

Absolutely the best Ceasar salad Ive ever had! Added shrimp to it. Huge flakes of Parm cheese, real bacon, perfect dressing. Ill go back just for that! Friend had a burger and said it was delicious as well. Good job everyone Food

We wondered if maybe we had Covid because the food was so bland. Wish we were kidding but the pizza toppings tasted like nothing. Never knew pepperoni could be bland. Salt and pepper wings had zero salt or pepper. Even the waitress said good call on the extra ranch upon pick up. Little foreshadowing of the blandness that was to come. No NOT recommend.

Stopped in for a drink and a snack after traveling on a Monday evening... sat at the bar... made eye contact with no less than 4 employees, 1 of which was the bartender... 15 minutes later, no one had spoken to us/greeted us/offered menus, nothing. It was clear they didnt want our business. Since we are staying at the hotel this restaurant is in, tried again the next morning for breakfast. The food was pretty ok, service was good. Tried again for supper that night, slow service after being seated. Had to ask for a drink menu. Food menu didnt look that appealing, so we just eased on out. I cant recommend this restaurant, especially at a premium price with slow service and a lackluster menu.

We were just passing through and stopped for dinner. The food was absolutely EXQUISITE (Jambalaya, local wine). The service is very friendly, professional and attentive. Not what you would expect from a convenience location by the airport. Will return without a doubt!

Ordered the Heirloom Salad because it was supposed to have HEIRLOOM tomatoes in it. There were a few measely cherry tomatoes in it. We brought it up to a server and she just said oh yeah, there aren t heirloom tomatoes in it. Whaaat?!? Then a normal business would have comped the salad or offered a coupon for another meal. But .. crickets. Strange.

Usually go here for happy hour, the price is right! My personal favourite is the chili chicken and truffle fries. Theres only four happy hour beers to choose from but for $5 you cant complain. I enjoy the black ipa Went tonight (July 12 2024) Our server Faith was amazing! She went above and beyond making sure my mom and I had a good evening. We had pizza and fish and chips. For dessert Faith recommended the okanagan peach belma (peaches with lemon/lavender ice cream and raspberry sauce) what a treat. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Had the Omelet A La Greco and added the Sourdough toast to it. The Omelettes do not come with toast on the side and you have to get it separately. Asked for fresh coffee at 8:30am and it took quite a while as they had to brew it. Service could be a bit quicker, otherwise great place. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available for breakfast.

The breakfast here is phenomenal, I have no concerns. However the dinner menu is extremely heavy.. I had something off the new menu, the short rib pasta, and it was sitting in a lake of oil. This really made eating and enjoying this dish difficult as this is not my first experience eating something like this from here. My partner had the beef dip, which looked fine. The flavor is there, but the dish could do without all the oil.

First time to have lunch here with family and Dhins Millama and staff made us feel very welcomed. The food was warm and delicious. The servers were very accomodating and friendly. Ambiance was good. Definitely recommend

Was interested in the prime rib dinner as advertised on the website. Took for ever for anyone to come and help us while we, and about 3-4 other groups waited in line at the door patiently waiting to be seated. Staff was oblivious that we were there. Finally, some dude comes up and tells us we can sit wherever we want so we proceeded to the dining area where we were forced to wait again for a lengthy period of time. Seemed understaffed and disorganized. The waitress told us that the website was wrong and informed us that we were only getting a portion of the dinner and no dessert. The waiter brought our food out, in no time at all - which was curious, but he delivered it to the wrong table. Then the bill came and we were charged $10 extra for an item that wasn t on the menu. Overall, disappointed at what ought to have been our last dinner here, and an Easter dinner, before we all headed home.

First time to be there. Modern and classy place to spent time with family and friends while enjoying a delicious meal. A lot of different choices of food. Definitely recommend the English Style Fish & Chips and carrot cake for dessert. Parking: Free parking in front of the restaurant. Had no problem finding a spot Saturday evening.

I arrived at 5:46pm, waited to be seated. I was seated at 5:52pm. The waitress came By at 6:02pm to take my order and I was told sorry happy hour ended at 6pm no exceptions I understand that I was cutting it close but to wait for 15 minutes to order and then being told I m 2 minutes late to order for happy hour seems like poor service. I gave the food 1 star because I didn t even get to try it. As I m writing this. It is 6:15 and the server hasn t been back since . . .

Service was a bit slow and it wasnt busy. Not sure why that was. Food and atmosphere were excellent as always.

Bartender Carly **Awesome**

The food was awesome. The atmosphere was great. The service was lacklustre, to say the least. We recently dined at this restaurant for the our fourth time in a year. We have always been impressed by the food and service. Tonight was different. We were a table of five adults, all ordering drinks and dinner. The food was good. The service was disappointing. Our server took a crazy amount of time to get our drink orders. She did not engage with us at all. Our drinks came and there was no question if any one needed anything. She just looked at our empty water glasses and walked away. I had to ask another server for more water. Our food came, served by someone else. It was well presented and tasty. My husband finished his burger as our server came to ask how everything was. Very bad timing. My daughter did not get dressing with her salad and we had to ask another server for that. She never asked if we needed more drinks or if we needed anything. She was dismissive. The restaurant was not particularly busy and they were well staffed. We felt ignored and unserved. We are patient people, with many of us working in the service industry. We all felt dismissed and poorly treated. Too bad, as we have normally enjoyed this spot and have often recommended it to many others. I am not convinced we will return.

Friendly service

Went for Christmas dinner for 7 people last minute reservation as there was not many restaurants open in Kelowna on Christmas Day. They had a three course turkey dinner menu for $55 but we opted to choose meals from the limited Christmas menu. Everything we ordered from the kids pasta to the kids chicken nuggets to the salmon to the wagu steak were amazing. Crab cakes appetizer were beautifully presented and so tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient and the restaurant has beautiful and beyond decorated so nicely for Christmas.

Always delicious with a great selection! Super friendly and helpful staff, all around great service! Dietary restrictions: Cauliflower Pizza Crust with a low carb count... Yummy!

Great place to wind down after a busy day on the road. Lots of beer, local wine and cocktail options. The menue offers many wonderful options. Across the road from the Kwlowna Airport, this hotel restaurant has been a favorite place to stay b4 flying out or driving onward through the Okanagan for several years. They are currently expanding the hotel, so be sure to arrive early to get the best service. Cheers! See you next time

Stopped in for a quick breakfast after an airport drop off. Tried the classic eggs benny, it was ok eggs done medium were good, nice serving of ham, muffin could have used a little more toast for me , decent spuds over all not to bad. Nice atmosphere in the bar area and i would like to come back for happy hour which looks like its might be pretty good. All in all a decent breakfast pick.

Took my mom there for breakfast. She has the classic eggs Benedict, very good. Big coffee mugs and string coffee. I recommend this place. Very close to the Kelowna airport.

Update...I returned, winter.. had the funghi pizza and the winter salad. The salad was good. Pizza was ok. Thin crust I like but will go elsewhere for pizza. This was in the summer..Had to wait for a table so sat outside on the couch and sipped in a glass of wine. Didnt wait long. Had the lamb burger. It was good but a bit to much sauce that overpowered the lamb, also had the prime rib burger that was very good. We ordered the heirloom salad as the side. Large side and very tasty. Filling..Service was great! Will return

Wow!! We decided to try the Easter brunch today and it was amazing - everything I hoped for! A huge buffet of delicious food - including an omelet bar, mimosa and Caesar bar, charcuterie, deviled eggs, pancakes, chocolate crepes, bacon/sausage, eggs benedict, lobster mac & cheese, carved ham, salads, fruit, deserts galore! Everything was so good. They even had an Easter bunny, egg hunt and activities for the kids. Service was friendly and attentive. I can t wait to go back!

You are not an artiste mr chef you are a cook and thats it, why are are putting 3 pounds of butter on 4 slices of toast? Seems like you are intentionally tampering with my food to spite me because of that one time (months ago) you gave me raw food and i asked for a properly cooked patty. Nice look mr chef, reflects very well on you and your restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gulfstream restaurant, and I must say that my experience was truly exceptional. Our server Tony went above and beyond to ensure that we had an unforgettable meal. From the moment we were seated, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel at home. Tony was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations for both food and drinks. He was attentive throughout the entire meal, checking in on us regularly to make sure that everything was to our liking. Not only was he attentive, but he was also friendly and engaging, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. The food at Gulfstream was simply amazing, and Tonys service only added to the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal and exceptional service. And if youre lucky enough to have Tony as your server, youre in for a treat!

What s with the menu? Why not offer some simple dishes? All are either fishy, or spicy or simply unusual was going to pop in as I am staying at the Hampton next door. Was given a coupon and thought it would be great until I looked at menu. Too bad, now off to Cactus Club.. grr

I checked in early at the Hilton in Kelowna BC with no issues. After checking in a gentleman from the front desk brought a birthday cake and card signed by all the staff to my room. It was totally unexpected but greatly appreciated and I wish to thank all the staff, management and the hotel for this kind gesture. I will be sure to stay here again during my travels. Lauren is the best! Very kind and funny. She served my colleagues and I all week. Thanks Lauren! The food itself is also very good here. Its a sort of upscale restaurant, but inside the hotel, which makes it super convenient. Great vibes for colleagues and family! I brought my 2 month old baby and no issues at all.

I did visit again, the staff friendly and took great care of me and my guest. I did only have wings. I was happy to say the service was very good. A change from the last visit. I think I will try the experience again. My first experience was not a pleasant one. Second was better.

We ate here after checking into the Hampton Inn and will never eat here again. To start - the Hostess was neither unfriendly nor friendly but she definitely was not welcoming. Our server - was slow and seemed to lack knowledge of the drinks we requested and the menu we ordered from. We asked for a whiskey and we re brought a bourbon ( completely different tastes) The food: Slow service and a deceiving menu - the Prime Rib burger was just an overpriced hamburger - tasteless and way overcooked. Weve been a few times and mainly go for their carrot cake. It seems the cake size has gotten smaller and theyve changed the recipe a little bit. We also got other things but overall, it was okay.

I have to write this review as a long term customer of this restaurant. We are from England originally and crave that feeling of belonging and the welcome you feel when. You enter bars and restaurants. The staff at Gulfstream have got this right. The staff including Carly, Lauren, Jackie, Shelby and Melissa, always greet us with such warmth and we love going there regularly. I think this has to be praised as it is one of the most important attributes a restaurant/bar can have, apart from food quality. Thank you girls for making us feel we have a second home at the Gulfstream :) Dietary restrictions: I was Vegan for a while and the staff would always help me with different options. One day they even made a special pizza for me totally off menu!!

Update: Recently had dinner at the Gulf Stream(Sep 2023) Ordered 2 pizzas (Canadiana and California) and an order of Chili Garlic Sesame Wings. Lots of toppings on the pizzas with a really nice thin crispy crust. Wings were very juicy with lots of meat! It was very busy this Friday evening but service was exceptional! Will return to try more things on the menu. Stopped by for a quick breakfast on a Sunday. Ordered the Original eggs Benedict and Four Points Breakfast. Both meals were very tasty and at a fair price point. Service was friendly and good but could have been a little more attentive with coffee refills.

Everything was excellent! 1 star off for not following instructions for a food allergy.

Great little hotel bar and lounge. I ordered the poke bowl and aside from the mango (soft and not good), the bowl was delicious. My husband enjoyed his steak frites as well. I would caution against the Heirloom White House wine - it was terrible! I struggled to drink it. But otherwise a nice night out!

Disappointed. Salt and Pepper wings were good. Lobster Bolognaise POOR made with imitation crab and imitation lobster-staff insisted it was real lobster, they stated that they use three kinds of lobster. Bacon wrapped pork tenderloin was dry. They did not charge us for the Lobster Bolognaise thankfully as we did not eat either meal.

We payed for the convenience of eating at the hotel, and wouldn t do it again. The lobster pasta was wonderful, but our other three meals were not. The deep fried pickles were stale and inedible. The steaks were cooked correctly, but were cold. My friends did not want to send them back because they did not want to wait for new food. Everyone tried their salads, but did not find them palatable. The waitress came and refilled two water glasses, but did not ask the others at our table and did not refill them until we asked. The chef (?) was yelling at wait staff for not clearing tables. It was a special occasion, so we decided to order desserts. I paid $9 for a one-inch (at its thickest) wedge of carrot cake, and the other couple ordered the $9 creme brûlée. There were large chunks of something in it turning the custard grey, and hardly any of the actual dessert. When asked, the waitress didn t know what they were. She came back and said they were cherries, but that was not in the description of the dessert. We were not offered for it to be taken off the bill when we complained that it was not what was ordered.

Great service and atmosphere. Ordered the Highlander Benedict. Despite the hollandaise being in-house, it was rather underwhelming. Standard coffee. Perfectly poached eggs and excellent hash. Give it a shot.

Sat at the lounge and the atmosphere was awesome. Server was professional and very polite. Happy hours are a great deal, beers are ice cold! Perfect on a hot sunny day!

I generally have enjoyed good food and good service at the Gulfstream, however I recently ordered their 12 oz prime rib and was somewhat disappointed. It tasted fine but was quite sure it was not 12 oz. I was told by the manager they weigh each piece. The size seemed about right but It was barely 1/4 inch thick. Should have been at least 1/2 inch thick. Either they need a new scale or they were not being honest about the weight. Will not order prime rib there again.

Food has never been exceptional. Service is usually ok, but lunch time they are very understaffed. It used to be the only place to eat, but now there are more options around and I find myself not visiting as much anymore.

Good food (we had appetizers during half hour) and drinks, though the amber beer was not to my taste, but the peach ale was delicious. The wait staff day as at the wrong table away from our group, but thats a pretty easy mistake to make. Staff was attentive and available, the patio was clean and suitably quiet, in spite of having two wedding parties, a girls softball team, and the snowbirds all using the space at the same time. 9.5/10, would go again. Great food and our server Carly was phenomenal. She was professional, so attentive to our table and fun. We had a big group at the hotel for a baseball tournament and a lot of us ate here all 3 nights. Everything was so so good. We missed you on our last night! Honestly, amazing and truly refreshing experience where staff shortages and lower service standard is becoming our new normal, you are the real deal. Also Get the Cod Tacos!!! So good! Thanks Carly

Our experience was lovely and enjoyable. Our server Sierra was kind and quick with our meal. We had the spring rolls and the lemon lavender cake for dessert. Which were both 10/10.

Surprisingly good. Great food, excellent service. Not cheap but there are few options in the area. Recommend if youre at one of the airport hotels.

We were served by Melissa and Trevor, and they were AWESOME. So helpful, so attentive, so nice! The food is also delicious, and the bar does a great job of mixing cocktails. Love it here. Best hotel bar/restaurant!

We got delayed on our honeymoon and are staying at the hotel. Decided to check this place out. The food is top notch. As locals, we will come here to eat more often now knowing the quality of the food and service. Trevor took very good care of us and was knowledgeable with the food and wine. We will be back for sure! Thanks to the whole team!

We stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly greeted and introduced to our wait staff. She was great! Attentive (not intrusive during conversations, cleared plates/glasses quickly), knowledgeable and offered great suggestions from the menu. The pizza and the local beer is a killer combo. The carrot cake for dessert was good...not as dense as Im used to. Overall it was a great experience.

Always come at least once when visiting Kelowna. A must try! Best beef dip, also love the carrot cake, chili chicken and prime rib dinner. Service is always on point as well.

Stayed at the hotel for a conference recently and had wonderful service at the Gulstream on two separate nights. On the first evening our server Niki was lovely and went above and beyond giving us great recommendations for wineries in the area. On the second evening we were served by Kathy and Carly, both of whom were friendly, attentive and thoughtful. Thank you! Will most defiantly come back anytime we are in Kelowna!

Only came in for a late night Sunday beverage but they were very attentive until 10pm when they close but didnt kick us out immediately. Very nice place.

We ordered room service (a cheesecake and a carrot cake) when we spent the night at Four Points and it never came was going to call but it was close to closing time so we didn t bother. Maybe better luck next time.

Our lunch here was an memorable experience! This place is a hidden gem. Our hostess Joy was a delight. The food was absolutely delicious. Chef Slavo brought us out some amazing appetizers after which we enjoyed a very tender beef dip and a fabulous pizza. This was our first time here! We definitely will be back.

The food is soooo good!

We live in the area and have ordered pickup and delivery here for our family many times. The food is fairly good. However, their attention to detail is atrocious! You have a 50% chance of getting the wrong meal or receiving your order with missing items... We have experienced this inconvenience at least a dozen times. The only reason we order here is because we live near by. After another poor experience tonight ill think twice before ordering here again. Very poor service.
