Kelly O'Bryan's Neighborhood Restaurant in Kelowna

Came by for a family members birthday during the week. The service was quite fast and friendly, the food was really good (I ordered the cali sandwich with upgraded pachos) it was fresh, hot, and fast. It was extra loud this time around but normally you could easily have a conversation. Overall really good and would reccomend if looking for a good restaurant downtown.

Been coming here for many years(downtown Kelowna location) absolutely amazing place great food and service! Jess was an awesome server very nice. Definitely coming again.

We go into Kelly O s several times a year and when we went this past Saturday I was disappointed to that the service was not what we are used to to. The server in our opinion made us feel as if we were interrupting her time. I always order the prime rib dinner when I go but this time the steak was definitely not what I would have expected. It was cold and the Oscar and sauce was warm so made for an unpleasant meal. I did not complain since it was very busy and we already felt as if we were taking up our servers time.

15 of us dropped at least $900-1000 tonight and the food was subpar for the exorbitant prices. My short ribs were roast beef tough and cold. Wife s fish was all batter and fish was off. Fella across from me had debris in his salad and $50 steak was like rubber will not recommend Parking: Do not use lot behind the place as it s very expensive ridiculous.

My husband and I dropped in at Kelly O Bryans for lunch today. We had an amazing waitress named Charlotte and met another employee named Angel that made our experience truly amazing! The food was so good (Irish stew and Irish onion soup), the service was top notch, more than expected. We will definitely be back, great food, and great service! Thank you, Charlotte and Angel.

A very good pick draft and pub food. No one here is Irish though. All in all a good eating establishment.

I celebrated my birthday eve here, and it was the best experience ever! The staff and other guests were incredibly friendly, making the atmosphere so warm and welcoming. The DJ, playing Punjabi songs just for us, was the cherry on top of an amazing night. Special thanks to James for his excellent service he truly made the evening unforgettable. Highly recommend this place for a fantastic celebration!

Just gotten so damn expensive! Honestly dont enjoy coming anymore and only show up when there is a family or friends birthday. Food items are expensive and never change. I dont want to explore other dishes because its costly to try things you may not like. Drinks are understandable in price, similar to most restaurants. But tonight we got charged 3.25 twice on a pochos for two for a little amount of jalapenos. Something needs to change.

Why over priced for food

I believe Charlotte served us(?) she was very kind and welcoming. Food was great! We always stop by when we pass through Kelowna.

What can I say about James, only that he was the best of the best, I ve never had better service EVER! He was juggling multiple tables and orders in a busy pub upstairs, all the while making sure I always had something to drink. I never ran out of my drink and as I was finishing it he was already there asking if I wanted another. After I said yes all those times, he made it and served it to me personally in less than 30 seconds. 100/100, absolutely amazing service from James, best believe we ll be back every weekend, go James!!!

Come here everytime Im in town from calgary bring abunch of friends. I love this place always great food and awesome drinks.

Food was cold Service was lacking 1.5 hours to eat , Very loud we had to raise our voices to speak to each other yelling to be heard, In their defense it is a new restaurant and training new members to their team , But we paid a lot of money for a 1 out of 5 experience

This is an outstanding establishment with excellent meals, drinks and entertainment.mthe staff are without doubt excellent. Mehaul took care of us on 3 out of 5 visits, his attention to detail was professional and faultless. An asset for sure.

This place has gone downhill and for the prices go somewhere else to eat. Food was so so, the atmosphere was grungy and didnt want to touch anything. If you just want somewhere to sit and have a drink on the rooftop deck, it might be okay.

Prices go up and experience goes down. Used to love this place but probably last time I visit.

After lunchtime, I came by chance at Happy Hour, and the meal menu and beer were very satisfying. Especially, the children enjoyed it. I would like to recommend it to my friends.

Ordered the 12.99 to go sandwich special and got a bill for 21 dollars. The server told me Panchos were included as a side and they were not. 21 dollars for fries and a sandwich on a stale bun is ridiculous. Atleast tell someone if something is an upcharge dont just say its included in the price and then give someone a bill theyre not expecting. There are so many other places where you can get way better food and bigger portions for 20 bucks at lunch.

Ive been going to kelly os for over 20 years. I love that its locally owned! (Owners mom is a doll and so proud of her son its darn cute) The birthday tradition of giving money off birthday meal is golden who does that nowadays? Cannot even count how many birthdays ive attened here... So thank you! Also that drink menu is huge something for anyone. 3 different types of atmospheres.. pub, patio and downstairs restaurant. Sheehan has served our family a few times lately and he definitely deserves a raise what a gent he is

Food was delicious, our server was an absolute delight, and for a pub, it actually wasnt painfully loud. The music was at a normal human volume and we didnt have to shout to hear each other. Extremely refreshing. 100% worth it.

Waste of time! Despite seeing several servers walking by our table, we received no service, not even so much as being acknowledge nor offered any water. I guess it was more important for them to clean up other tables than serve new patrons. After 20 mins of waiting, we got up and left. One of them said have a nice day while sitting at the bar. There are many other restaurants and pubs downtown you can go to. I would stay clear of Kelly Os until they have new management.

Always a good time, food is excellent 8 out of 10 times Id say, its never terrible. Very friendly stuff and fun atmosphere. Even if you go on a slow afternoon its nice and accommodating

I m visiting from out of town and I was looking for karaoke. Just a random fun time. I ended up at Kelly o bryans. Didn t get karaoke which was fine but I got bingo and it was awesome. Lots of people playing to win. And the radio voice of James was hilarious and let me even call a number. 10/10 recommend.

Definitely wont be coming back here! The food was basic and overpriced. We waited over an hour for our food, while people who came after us were already served and finishing their meals. How do you have the audacity to charge over $50 for a bottle of white wine? $20.95 for the Kelly salad which was the size of a starter and beyond basic! Do not recommend! Dont waste your time or money here!

Place is a classic. Always has been a stop on trips through Kelowna. Recently becoming too pricey, unfortunately.

Rodney is hands down the best waiter at the bar! From the moment we arrived, his friendly and welcoming demeanor set the perfect tone for the evening. Not only does he know the menu inside and out, but his fantastic recommendations come with a side of hilarious banter that kept us laughing all night. Rodney s attentiveness was remarkable; he anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and our glasses were never empty. His professionalism, combined with his fun and witty personality, made our visit truly memorable. If youre looking for exceptional service and an enjoyable night out, Rodney is your guy. He s a true gem, and his infectious energy is the reason we ll be coming back!

** update ** I had a good talk with the owner, Jeff. He understood my concerns with regards to future customers, and he voiced some of his issues with people who pretended to have a service dog, and I totally understand. I was asked for my service dog papers, and I was told i couldnt enter. My dog was well behaved and clearly marked with a vest. This has now caused problems for me. https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/justice/human-rights/guide-and-service-dog/public-rights A person with a disability who uses a guide dog or service dog should not be stopped or questioned unless there is a concern. The best way to recognize a guide or service dog is by observing the behavior of the dog and handler.

Great place, quick and friendly service. Very good fresh food, we had lots of kids with us and they were all very happy and satisfied. Tons of options, even for vegetarians! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options I was impressed! Kid-friendliness: Many good options for kids, very patient and accommodating.

Took my grandma there for lunch. The portions were huge, while the food was ok. Why Im rating 4 stars is due to our amazing server. Danielle, who even though she was busy serving many other tables, all our food and drinks were delivered with a smile and cheer and super fast! Also she made one of the best Caesars! Being served by her made the experience enjoyable & memorable, even though there were crack heads freaking out in the park below! It was as if we were being served by a best friend. Recommend!

Can t beat Prime Rib Mondays! Not the first place you d think of for Prime Rib, but ours was done just right and the horse radish sauce was the real deal!!! However they ve also got great pub food and beer with the Irish twist you d expect.

Ive been going to this place for over 6 years, and the quality and portion size of the food has degraded significantly. Shrinkflation, unfortunately, has affected this spot, too; pachos for two used to be a huuuuge serving, and now its much smaller yet more expensive! Pachos for one is insultingly small---forget about ordering it to-go, by the way, because itll be an even smaller serving somehow (and also stupid expensive for what you get). The emerald isle sauce has changed in some way and it does not taste as amazing as it used to. It seems like theyre kinda phoning it in these days. The staff are always nice, though!

Old building with Irish pub atmosphere. Staff wear kilts. 2 levels w open air dining upstairs. Birthday deal gives $30 discount. $46 for 8 oz prime rib dinner w salad, potatoes, vegies and yorkshire. Guinness on tap. Disappointed that the server didnt offer gravy or horseradish. Parking: Pay parking lots around. Located across from busy city park and waterfront makes a very busy area.

Waited over an hour for 2 meals when It wasnt too busy. 6 tables between downstairs and patio. Once we got our meals both the burgers and fries were cold, been sitting for quite awhile. They remake the burgers which took another 35 mins. Didnt even compliment one of our drinks. Would always come here but would definitely go across the street to craft or down to cactus club unless you want to wait 2 hours for a burger.

The meal is good, and for me, everything about this place is good, thus it is highly recommended.

Booked months in advance for a bachelorette party. When the girls in my group walked in they immediately told us reservations on the patio werent allowed even though we didnt mention anything about a patio. All they said was just that we had a reservation. We arent too crazy or loud and they didnt seem very happy to serve us. We have been Kelly Os lovers for years and every birthday have come here so thought it would be perfect for a wedding and the bride was disappointed. Drinks and food tastes good but we feel disappointed compared to what were used to getting. We wouldve stayed longer and think wed be the perfect crowd to spend money on drinks but we left to go somewhere else as we feel like an inconvenience.

I love kellyos, but dont go to this branch for dinner. Its always way too busy, even when we had a reservation it apparently meant nothing to them. We still had to wait outside for 2 hours, and it was over 3 hours before we got any food.

I used to love this place...for 19 years we have been coming to Kelly Os for my daughters birthday(exceptCovid)..it was now her 19th birthday and I made prior reservations, called back and confirmed those reservations and my special request for a pink bubbly bar drink(as it was her champagne birthday)) which they assured twice would happen, some cake, and birthday hoopla... Nadda, nothing, didnt even give us a reserved table near the window( it was a Tuesday)..No specialty drink(at a HUGE financial loss to them) so we had a drink or 2 even though we brought a DD for th partying and drinking that was supposed to occur, No Happy birthday song(apparently they dont do that anymore!!!)...food was okay(mine and an another was cold), the waitress was tired from St. Patricks day, and it showed it. Im sad, mad, let down, angry and will let everyone know that Kelly Os is no good anymore to celebrate birthdays and their food not worth the price...The whole experience I planned and we drove 2 hours for sucked!!!!! The next day at Red Robbins was awesome and they treated us like birthday royalty a day late... they got the alcohol money and the amazing tip that was earmarked for a Fabulous Kelly Os party that was not!!!! Dont waste the reservation time...they clearly twice didnt listen

Can not believe the insane prices of the food, the tiny potions you get are not worth the price, $31 for a tiny serving of extreme ponchos, I couldnt believe the amount of potatoes they served us. We added bacon on, serving was not big enough for two

Great pub with a great selection of local brews as well as the classics. Servers were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The prices were fair. The food was fantastic. I was there on a Thursday pasta night and had the beef stronanoff. I also tried the pork schnitzel, prime rib, chicken cheese burger and the ravioli off my family members plates. The only downside is i live 12 hours away from this place so i wont be able to eat here as often as I like. But i will be back. Best restaurant in kelowna so far. I recommend anyone looking for a good restaurant give Kelly OBryans a try.

Took over 45 minutes for my friend and I to get one plate of pachos to share. There were only two other tables, and one of them came in after us and got full entrees + appies before we got our food (which was only lukewarm). Disappointed :(

First i was disappointed with the meal i was given but the service is incredible and the second version of the dish was as well! Went there after a busy day of being out with my family. We loved the pub atmosphere and the booths are great. They allow you some privacy, comfort and separation. Kid-friendliness: Allow minors up to 10pm it was a fun change for them

Food has almost always disappointed. Always okay, never good or beyond that. Same with thw service which is hit or miss.

Food was not bad but it wasnt extra really. The flavors not great but it taste good when you have a couple drinks. The drink menu is way too big and not a single bartender can make a good flavor cocktail. The place is nice and very trendy and located downtown which is nice and getting better I think the new manager or way it is running is healthier.

This is a great restaurant don t get me wrong. But you people ARE IN NEED of new workers. This is literally 6th TIME IVE ORDERED PACHO DIP SEPARATELY JUST TO GET NO PACHO DIP. Now usually I would just write a complaint at tell them I didn t get it but it was my birthday dinner and yet I didn t receive it. Are you people genuinely dumb. I don t get it. You literally read my order and you still don t see PACHO DIP labeled at the bottom of my order. I m just confused as to how you can t read, do you guys need glasses? Is this the problem? Because I will literally buy all of you a pair just to get my damn PACHO dip. This isn t a joke. When you read this don t laugh. It really isn t funny. Fire whoever isn t giving me the PACHO dip. Busy, but either understaffed or they don t care about the customers. As a business traveller staying next door at a hotel, this looks like a premium establishment. Not so. I tried this place a few times in the past couple of months. Yesterday s visit, the prices, $27 for stew and bread, $12 for a pint, were high end, the food was not. I paid the bill and tipped 20%. I wish i hadn t. Today s visit, I chose self-seating in the pub side. It took ages to get acknowledged. Finally the manager came over and took a drink order, telling me the waitress would be along shortly to take my food order. My drink came, I had time to drink half of it as the waitress passed me multiple times, even looking right at me and quickly turning away. I paid for my unfinished drink at the bar and left. I don t think this was unusual lack of service at this place. The Mgr was quick to apologize and knew there was a real problem. . I feel sorry for him, he at least was trying hard. Save money, get better food and service elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Food was not the best fries were little soggy, waiting was very kind but we didnt see her much. Atmosphere was wild dont know if we went on a weird night but everyone was yelling definitely a cunage from the vernon location I do not plan on going back to this location due to the difficult parking and the loud atmosphere. Person I was with got food poisoning from the stuff mushrooms.

There are alot of good options for food to be honest. I loved the vibes and the service but the food was just not it.

Pachos and Stuffed Mushrooms at Kelly Os are always a delight! We had an awesome time with our server, Charesa! They had Caesars on special and Guiness on tap - how could anyone resist? Overall, it was a fantastic meal at Kelly Os.

I went to Kelly O Bryan s Neighborhood restaurant and they gave me the worst service because especially that fat woman with long hair and the manager were so unfair that they spoke rudely and made me feel bad about going in and I wont go longer.

The food was great, the rookie waitress did very well, and atmosphere was excellent. But, we are going out less and less. Cost of going out has almost doubled in 3-4 years. If we want to blame someone, lets look at the carbon tax on diesel fuel. Diesel trucks deliver all of the restaurant supplies. Trudumb was wanting to fine the grocery store owners for the high prices when he should be looking in a mirror!!

Kids Mac n Cheese is Kraft Dinner @ $8.50 Ramsay would have a stroke. Although the Jerk Chicken Penne was great. Asking a customer to settle up during the meal because you have to leave is unprofessional. Pass it to another server. Felt very rushed although it wasnt busy. Likely wont be back. Many other places here.

A favorite for me for over 20 years. They recently hosted my 50th birthday and did a great job. Service and food was perfect. And didnt upcharge a huge surcharge on the bill. Thanks so much!

Denied requested seating because our party was only 3, but 10 minutes later a party of 2 sat there. Another table for 4 was not offered either! Rambled on about menu, not listening to customer. Ate appetizer then left for another restaurant.

Great lively bar with cheap drink prices and great food options

Came to Kelly Os to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. Was told there would be a half hour wait, which was fine until it took 60 minutes to get 1 cold burger with non melted cheese and 1 order of stuffed mushroom caps with the smallest mushrooms known to man, and on a Monday night. I honestly left here hungier than when I came. I could have gone to the grocery store, bought all the ingredients for less than this crummy meal cost, and made it myself at home in half the time. Service was meh. Food was meh. Not worth the free birthday meal. Go elsewhere, save yourself the time and money.

Kelly Lagers are excellent and hit soft like Asahi. Also tried their pachos, they were good. Didnt order much as was full but will visit again. Only found 2 cons, first the place is pretty dark and the second, they should expand or add more food options to their happy hour menu. Rest all good including service by Liberty.

I was at the patio last Thursday evening with a gf. The patio is beautiful and the server was amazing. I wish I got his name, a young gentleman with long hair. The beers were ice cold, loved it! We also ordered salt and pepper chicken wings, I was very disappointed with the portion. It has to be the smallest portion I have ever seen for 18$. Maybe thats a Kelowna thing, I dont know...but where I live (Calgary), the chicken wings portions usually serve two people. There were exact 7 wings, not even an even number. I had 3 wings and my gf had 4. Price comes out to approximately $2.60 per wing, a little excessive. Other than that the place was very nice, amazing location and beautiful view from the patio. Id go back.

This was our first experience at this pub. Good selection of food and asked the server for some choices. She helped me pick the Jamaican Jerk Pasta with chicken and I must say this was the best Jamaican jerk pasta I have ever had. It had the jerk sauce flavour to it and I think the sauce was a little modified to make it little less spicy. I have tried many types of jerk sauces and this was one really different. The pasta wasn t dry at all and each penne was enriched with the save. Chicken had a good blackened flavour to it. They could have added extra peppers to being that flavour to it but the sauce did the job. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get pasta - this place is a must go to.

Went there with my kids and we all had a great time! The service was friendly and quick and they had a great appetizer menu and a kids meal menu. We are looking forward to going to going back again soon!

I was not expecting much but YUM. Patio had a fabulous atmosphere. The waitress was beyond amazing. Steak Sandwich and Tuna Stack WOW. Will be back. oh, and the cocktails were delicious.

Loved the Prime Rib!

We have gone here for years but in the last few things have really deteriorated. On the last order we made for pick up they left out a significant portion of the food. We called and the night manager said he would mail a $25 gift card to make up for it. When we end t to use it it actually had $10 written on it. When we went to use it at the restaurant it had $0 on it. Staff challenged us where we got it . Food is ok, pachos the best part, but the service ha gotten so bad we don t be going back any more.

So the only reason I rate it only a 3 star, is the fact that if you see the bill...they do not inform you that they charge you atleast 4.50$ per cheese and bacon.....its outrageous... the food is great but man...they should inform you about the price of bacon and cheese specially since the bacon you get are only a few strips cut into bacon bits...

I work around the corner and there are many options for a lunch break. But I hands down choose Kelly O Brian s! The staff is so kind fast and efficient. They are always smiling and having fun, even at their busiest moments! Just good vibes good food and good staff!

Fun place for group dinners and drinks, but the quality of the food/portions can make the price difficult to swallow. Service is quite good, waiters/waitresses attentive and pleasant. Pachos are obviously the stand out item on the menu

I service was absolutely terrible. We eat there all the time it took 20 minutes to get a coke and the problem with that is it wasnt even busy.

Great pub/restaurant combo with eclectic staff and menu

Average food at a high price. Order was incorrect after waiting an hour for it. Hmm...

Food was good, atmosphere was eh. Gave waitress 60$ to cover a 41$ tab told her to give me 10 back, and she gave me 4$ in assorted coins and walked off. Seemed pretty lazy.

Food was great! Service was okay. It wasnt very busy but four different people waited on us. The upstairs DJ was too loud for a small space. Food : 5/5

Great Irish pub, great Pachos!

A lovely Irish restaurant with fun food choices and unique drinks. My favorite dish there is Pachos - Potatoes with nice seasoning and best honey mustard sauce. The setting is pub-like and fits the name Irish Pub well. The dress code is Scottish with a kilt and all. Cool

Stopped in for lunch and was lucky enough to find a time when it wasnt packed. :) Atmosphere is exactly what youre looking for if youre interested in that Irish Pub feel. The menu is fairly extensive with plenty to choose from. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty! They also have a wide selection of drinks to choose from for your wobbly pop needs. :)

We went for my brothers 40th birthday, table of 8 and every single persons food was served lukewarm at best, my mothers lamb burger was refrigerator cold. Very disappointed.

Our server was amazing but thats the only thing that was good. The beet salad was very sad There were shreds of Beets (a handful of them) on top of lettuce that was soaked in dressing. Very pitiful beet salad. Food : 1/5
