Food, service, menu knowledge of the staff all incredible!!!! We were absolutely blown away by the lovely staff, the food was soooo good and the atmosphere was perfect after a day of adventuring, mild lighting, booth seating!!! 10/10 recommend.

We were in last night, Lauren was our server and she was fantastic. I had the Kona pizza, which was amazing. My husband had a burger, also very good. A nice casual dinner, we ll be back.

Its my birthday and we made a reservation for 4 people. Everything is perfect as always. I paid almost $200 with a tip and as we were about to leave the server came to our table and made a big scene about not tipping anymore. Do you not pay your staff minimum wage or she is the only one do this thing always to get more tip. Really disappointed with her, at least try not to ruin someone s special day

Wonderful lunch today! Was my Daughters Gender reveal and the staff were amazing ! I phoned ahead and they suggested Hippie Juice with Flamingo straws (it s a Girl) I wish I could remember staff names but service was excellent and so was the food!

I visit a lot of venues and restaurants in my line of work and I have to say that King Taps Kelowna is truly one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure of visiting. Their staff are super friendly and outgoing making you feel welcome. The food is top notch and very delicious and the location can t be beat! 2 thumbs up for this location!

It was our first time, and we didnt know what to expect. We were seated upstairs, which had a great cozy vibe. Our waitress was so patient with us as we moved tables. She was prompt, friendly and down to earth. The food was so tasty. I had the steak with smashed potatoes, amazing!! The kale veggies were good too. My husband enjoyed a variety of appies, all very tasty he said. (the presentation looked tempting - Im gf so couldnt indulge) Oh which reminds me of the care the waitress took to make sure that what I ordered wouldnt have gluten, so kind of her. Our whole evening was absolutely lovely and just what we needed. Thanks for making it a great memory. We will see you again.

The facility and location is nice. We had a large team dinner there and took over the upstairs space. We had to preorder our food for the kids which was fine. But it still took 1.5 hours before kids got their food. So we planned made the reservation and pre ordered and it still took 1.5 hours sitting and waiting for our food.

What a great place to enjoy a happy hour. Right on the water. Half price bottles of wine, and great pizzas. The whole menu is really very good with great beer selection. Bumping atmosphere adds to the experience. and the service is top shelf. A must go when in Kelowna.

A gorgeous location and view. We ordered the Korean steak bites, 8 oz sirloin, and the peri peri chicken. Everything was delicious. A very special thanks to Jordyn for her great service. She did a great job ensuring that we had everything we needed. We will be back!

We really like King Taps. Service is always good, best to book ahead. Can be warm on the patio in the summer and windy as well,maybe even suddenly wet! All good though, folks who work there are very responsive. Happy hour prices are really great!

We had an amazing time at King Taps to celebrate our friends anniversary. Lauryn was so kind and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing surprise with complimentary juice shots and dessert. ABSOLEUTLY amazing! Kudos to the team !

Pizza was very good & so were the tacos . Fries have too much truffle but that s just me . Prices are pretty reasonable . Not sure if our server was having a rough day but she was horrible . Rushing me to order food and drinks & it was kinda annoying . Great views of the water especially when the sun is setting . I would probably go back if I don t have the same server lol .

The food was delicious. Highly recommend the kale salad, tuna poke bowl and the bee sting pizza! Everyone in our party loved what they ordered and were raving about it afterward.

Went to King Taps recently for my 30th birthday, and although it was busy our server Katie provided excellent service. Food & drinks came out very quick, and with incredible quality as per usual. Highly recommend dining here if you re in the area.

Horrible customer service, can consider the most rude people working here. Food quality is just pathetic be ready to wait for half an hour to get one item delivered to your table. Kitchen staff may need awakening on their head .

Decided to try something new while staying in Kelowna. Found King Taps walking distance from our hotel. Our waiter, Devon, was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, and the view over the water was great. Food

Great place for dinner. Love the atmosphere. A little pricey and can be difficult to find a parking spot but worth it especially for happy hour. Parking: Pay parking only and could be difficult to find a spot.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my grandmothers 83rd birthday at King Taps. Our large group was seated upstairs, and we truly felt like we received special treatment. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, making the occasion even more memorable. My grandmother was absolutely elated to have everyone together for her celebration. Thank you, King Taps, for making her day so special!

We loved the view! Even though there wasnt a Kid Menu the server had great suggestions for sharables. The chicken tenders and fries were perfect for the kids. Our server was really friendly and very accommodating.

Just want to say thank you to Jess, the manager, and the staff at Kings Taps for their incredible service and professionalism. It was above and beyond, and I cant thank them enough!

We had a party of 8. Initially they had us spread out over two booths. When asked about a larger table, which was requested at time of reservation the hostess made a big deal about it. After 15 minutes they were able to accommodate us upstairs at two small tables. Asked for a third and she said the rest were reserved. After she got approval the third table was added. Now the wait. 15 min before waitress showed up to get drink order. 15 min for drinks to arrive. 10 more before she came back to order. 1hr 5 min before food showed up. All the orders were good except the one steak order was very over done. (Waitress did remove from bill). The replacement steak took 35 min to show up, but was cooked according to request. Waitress barely came back around to refill drinks and did not have a great attitude. For the price I expect better service. Interesting note to add is that the guy who ordered the steak was very sick for about an hour after he ate it. Draw your own conclusion to the professional nature of the cooking staff.

King taps is one of our Favourite s! We had a server change shortly after we ordered our meal ; my dinner bowl was not the one I ordered and they rectified it right away ; I was not in the least bit upset and look forward to my next visit;

Was a busy night in town got seated quickly with a very nice view sydney was our server and she was great Nashville hot chicken was banging but I ate it so theres no pics lol so enjoy the view.

We went to King Taps on a busy Saturday afternoon. The location was very nice and the restaurant was well staffed and organized. With a small wait we were seated. Note that groups above 6, they don t have tables that push together and you will be at separate tables. Not a deal breaker but wasn t ideal. Our server was very happy and engaged and made sure to double check our orders after typing them into her iPad. The wait wasn t too long and she was attentive at getting our drink refills without being disruptive. My wife ordered a custom salad and veggies with mustard due to a dietary issue and she didn t get what she ordered and the waitress didn t make it right. The other orders were really good and the desserts were amazing. Washrooms were top notch, clean, but had over flowing garbages because it was so busy. Prices were high, but expected at this location and Kelowna in general. I would come back for sure as there were more pluses than minuses. Parking is very limited, so drive down the street to the event Center and walk back. Dietary restrictions: They had trouble making a custom salad. I d be very cautious

Spent a sunny Saturday lunch on the Terrace with Madam Verve keeping us company. The vibe was fantastic predominantly created by a wonderful musician who had a vast repertoire. It felt like he just kept playing. He read the crowd perfectly and made for a very relaxed ambience. Good memory loading of Kelowna!

Beautiful, tasty food in a beautiful place!! Service was amazing!! I have had the turkey club sandwich with truffle fries and also had the tuna poke bowl ..all amazing!! My kids had beef dip, minimacs and chicken club all with truffle fries ....have also had pizza...which is the best in the city!!!

We went with a group of friends for drinks. Everything was good until it came time to pay. The server actually made a comment about the 15% tip and that she was unimpressed. Tipping should be based on pretax anyways, so the server is already getting more than the 15%. I probably would not go back to this location because of this experience.

Great food. If simplicity of atmosphere is what you want, this is your place. Waitress was top-notch on personality and service.

There are many good shops in the Kelowna downtown area, but this one is my top recommendation. This is a very popular restaurant, so we recommend making reservations, especially at night. Magic hour terrace seats were great. Food and service too!

What a killer location right on the water at the boat launch

Really disappointing experience here today. Ordered two beers and when my partner picked hers up, her glass completely split apart from the base to the shaft, spilling beer all over her and the table. Servers gave us napkins and one came by to mop under the table, knocking the table several times and spilling my beer a bit too. An apology was given about the broken glass but no comp or discount on the beer offered or anything. Food was great but just really let down by the lack of basic acknowledgement that my partners clothes were soaked in beer..

I hate to leave this place a bad review because their servers are great and just doing their job. However some stuff here at an upper management level is quite questionable. They have unnecessary charges, it costs 2.50 to lettuce wrap when all nearby restaurants charge $0. It s the small things. This is not the first time I ve been here and someone in my group left unhappy due to weird charges other restaurants dont have like cactus or joey.

My first time here tonight (Valentines Day) with wife and friends.Perhaps the best steak ive had since moving here. Our server seemed to pick the perfect moments to check in.

We were celebrating our anniversary and had reserved a patio table with a note included at King Taps. When we arrived, a server led us to a table, but we asked to be seated at one with a water view. Although there were two tables available, we were asked to wait while one was cleaned. During our 15-minute wait, two other servers approached us to see if we had been helped, and we explained that we were waiting for the initial server to clean the table, which appeared to be already clean. Feeling a bit frustrated, we moved to the table ourselves and asked passing servers for assistance. Finally, a server came by, introduced herself as our server, and brought us water. She took our order but soon had to attend to another table, saying her colleague would assist us. When her colleague arrived, we requested to speak with the manager about the service issues. The manager came over and without listening to us first explained that there had been a communication lapse among the team. This experience with the service and management led us to leave the restaurant, deciding not to return to King Taps forever.

We enjoyed their happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Easy to get a patio table, not only the were the drinks fantastic but the Korean chicken was delicious as well.

Best sangria with slush so tasty . Enjoyed the rigatoni with sausage and vodka sauce and my date had the tuna bowl. The food was delicious. Will go back here any time I am in town

Great, friendly people there to serve and make you feel welcomed. The location couldn t be better right along the waterfront with all the walls wide open to let the sunshine and breeze in. However when it comes to the $49 ribeye I was very much disappointed. My 12 oz steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare but it was barely 1/4 inch thick and not very juicy and missing some seasoning. Certainly was not worth the high cost. I m sure if you ordered something else to eat you will enjoy your visit more.

The food was great and the portion size was sufficient. Service top! We sat on the upper terrace, where unfortunately a musician was playing with a loud harmonica. This meant that no conversations were possible because the loudspeakers were simply too loud. We would have liked to sit downstairs with music, where you can also have conversations.

The ambience is great, the food is bland and mediocre. The Toronto location is far better! Their pizza doesnt come out hard as a rock. Service was also subpar, had to ask for our server to come by a few times. A beer took 20 min to get to the table, it wasnt even busy (it was 2pm) and we had reminded our server that we were still waiting for our drink.

Came for a late night happy hour. The tacos and Crispy Sushi were delicious, and our server Devon was very personable and attentive, he even gave us some great recommendations for things to do in Kelowna. 100% would come back.

Not gonna lie yall, this is my FAV place to eat and have some drinks. We don t have king taps in our home town, so coming to kelowna, it s a go to every day we are here! Not to mention, Devin was an OUTSTANDING server! He made our stay not only a meal, but an experience. He always made sure we were doing well and made us feel welcome. Not to mention how friendly he is and how much he cares about his job and making his guest feel comfortable and happy. 10/10 recommend for brunch, dinner, lunch, drinks etc. All of it ! Good spot by the water. Great service. It s a similar experience to Cactus Club, Tap & Barrell etc. so there s nothing super unique or interesting but good for a lowkey drink or bite to eat.

**Disappointed with Dog Policy** I recently visited King Tap and was disappointed with their pet policy. While they allow service dogs on the side patio, they dont permit other dogs, which feels quite exclusionary. Many of us consider our pets part of the family, and it would be nice if they could join us for a meal outside. I understand the need for certain rules, but an outdoor patio seems like an ideal place to welcome all well-behaved dogs. Unfortunately, this policy has left me feeling less enthusiastic about returning. I hope they reconsider and become more pet-friendly in the future.

It was our first time dining at King Taps this evening, as we are from Edmonton! We had a pleasant experience and our meal was VERY good! I highly recommend the truffle fries with the dip as well as the frozen sangria! We will most definitely come back again

We sat up on the rooftop patio/terrace which was beautiful! Quieter than downstairs and the view was amazing, plus they have shade cloths, umbrellas and water misters to keep you cool in the summer heat! I have celiac disease and our server Slade was extremely helpful and transparent in ensuring I could choose a safe meal. I had the peri peri chicken with mashed potatoes and brocollini which was absolutely delicious! I also had the hippie juice and I am very happy to say I did not get sick or any cross contamination. Id like to sincerely thank Slade and the chefs for taking the time to accommodate me and allow me to have a delicious and safe meal. I would definitely come back again Dietary restrictions: The staff have access to a cheat sheet that helps them to see what common allergens are in the meals, and allows them to make reccomendations on what to leave out of dishes to accommodate your dietetry restrictions.

Food was great. The staff however took forever to bring our food and we nearly had to wait 15 minutes in the end to just get our bill and pay. We then got up to go to the front and pay and thats when they brought out the bill.

Very nice experience at King Taps. For starters the service was great. I wish I could remember our servers name (Mikay maybe?) but she was phenomenal! We ordered a GF pizza and some apps and everything tasted great. It was hands down the best GF crust Ive had on a pizza ever - better than anywhere in Toronto. The atmosphere is very pleasant by the water and its a chill environment in the restaurant. Would definitely go back next time we are in Kelowna!

Overall very accommodating, food is ok, not as good as Cactus or Joey s. Outdoor seating on top floor was ok, no real airflow. Second floor seating is not nice. Looks like a cafeteria. First floor is nice & vibe is great. Staff were generally nice. My main issue: Didn t have the wine we wanted so we switched to margaritas. Upstairs bar was backed up and margaritas came quite late. Watched others get their drinks, but ours came 20-25 minutes after we ordered & only after I called it out. The bill was another huge issue. Server brought us a wine to taste as they didn t have the one we wanted. We didn t like it. However, the bottle was included on the bill. Normally I would say this was an honest mistake. However, before giving us the bill, our server looked over it stating she wants to make sure everything is correct. We had asked for the margaritas to be taken off & they were. But when we looked at bill, bottle of wine that we didn t end up getting was still on it. When I pointed this out to our server, her response was oh sorry, didn t get a chance to look over the bill . But she did get a chance! She did look. In fact I think she was upset with our table for calling her out on the late margaritas & decided to leave the bottle of wine on our bill hoping we didn t notice

We visiting Kelowna after being absent for 1and 1/2 years and King Taps was the highlight of our nights out. We have never been disappointed. The service was amazing and the Brussels Sprouts were to die for! Follow that up with my favorite pizza in the valley with the Notorious and you have a memorable evening! This was my first time going and I have to say our waitress was absolutely lovely. The Notorious pizza was fantastic as well. But my big complaint and why I gave two stars (which I changed to four after seeing the response and commitment from management to curb the noise levels) was the obnoxiously loud music. It was impossible to hold a conversation. I could maybe sympathize late in the evening but not over lunch. I asked three times for the music to be turned down before finally asking to switch tables.

Pros: - Food and drinks were delicious. - If you book on the patio, some of the seats have a great view. - Waiting area if you have a reservation. - Drinks arrive quickly. Cons; - Hostessing is awful. We had a 6:45pm reservation on the patio. We arrived at 6:35pm. TWO walk-in/no reservation parties were seated on the patio before us, as we waited... they called us at 6:45pm to sit at the last remaining patio seat. As in, its outside, but adjacent to the main door, tucked into the corner of the patio, where 1 person gets no view, and the other can only see the boat launch and sidewalk. The table is 3 from a loud patio speaker. We asked the waitress to see if the hostess could move us to the next available patio table, and she apparently checked- then both refused.

Our waitress Regina was personable and helpful. Our food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. My chicken sandwich was very moist and juicy with crunchy pickles. It came with a more than adequate amount of fries. My husbands seafood pizza though a bit oily was excellent. The poke bowl looked very good. I had a white sangria that was extremely tasty. My only minor complaint was that it was quite noisy but to be fair it was a packed house. We would definitely return.

Great view of the lake, place was busy so the service was slow but spot on.

Came here on a nice date with my boyfriend. Service wasn t very fast, but they were extremely busy to be fair. Food was delicious and the drinks were yummy as well! Definitely would come back here!

5+ stars. Live music was amazing, service was amazing. I won t even look around next time I m in town, I will 100% be coming back. Only downside was our table was in a place the misting didn t hit us. Highly recommend.

Great spot in Kelowna!

Big shoutout to matt!!! The best server ever. First it was hard for us to stay because nobody attended us for 20 min but matt came over and did the best service ever. Super sweet person and kept checking on us very professional and kind. Next time we are coming always asking for matt! Best services by matt!!!

The aperol spritz is one of the best I ve had in town. Service was great and food tasted wonderful!

great restaurant for lunch! we sat on the covered patio thats equipped with misters, fans and umbrellas for the summer heat. the wait time was less than 5 minutes, service was quick and the food was good! there is even live music which added to the immaculate summer vibes
