Our server Jeremy was fantastic! His service went above and beyond. He was friendly and engaging, and made sure that all of our needs were met quickly, regardless of how busy he was. Jeremy was especially considerate of my young neice and made sure to check in with me and her mom before offering drink and desert options. He made her feel special, and made sure to let her honk the truck horn long and loudly! She was thrilled! Montanas has always been her favourite place but even more so now! We were so grateful for such exceptional service in a day and age where customer care is lacking in too many establishments. Thanks for an unforgettable experience Jeremy! My neice loves to draw, dragons especially, and the craft paper table cloth is one of her favourite aspects of Montanas. We all enjoyed drawing while we wait... I had a totally crap day. Lots of drama, lots of driving and was not the greatest. I needed food and a break. My server Tiffany was so gracious and attentive, laughed at my bad jokes and excelled at getting me the small things to make my meal amazing. Like a lake of butter for my baked potato. Jeremy truly loves his job - he is at the top of his game in this casual dining establishment which some people assume is just a noisy place to bring kids..we enjoyed the lobster spinach dip, the honkin beef rib and the bbq chicken fajitas which gave us leftovers for 2 days..and a couple of beers. Give this man a raise, he s very personable and attentive without hovering..we ll be back

Came in on Halloween 2024, so much fun to see the crew all dressed up in costumes! Jeremy was our AWESOME server again. Hes just a Rock Star! Always makes sure everything is PERFECT for us, even when Im just happy to be there & not worried about little mistakes. . Update: its been 3yrs since I originally posted a review...Montanas in Kelowna is STILL our top choice for a family dinner out. Jeremy, Jordan & recently Cam, CONSISTENTLY go well above & beyond for us. There is no other restaurant Ive visited that has always been so warm & understanding about my dietary restrictions. Plus the meals are always amazing! I only ever order the steak but its always tender, juicy & grilled to perfection. Our eldest is a super-fan (as she says) of the chicken tenders. My ex-husband & our youngest love trying out a variety of whats on the menu & Ive only heard satisfied sighs & glowing praises from them. If I had to find something negative to say, it would only be that I wish the steamed broccoli & cauliflower would come back on the menu LOL... Been coming regularly bi-weekly for the last 2.5yrs with my ex-husband as a family dinner night with the kids. The food is almost always perfect, they have been EXCEPTIONALLY accommodating with my food allergies, but what really stands out are the amazing people who work there. Jordan, Jeremy & Jeff, plus their supervisor Keely have gone truly above & beyond every single time we come in. It quickly got to the point where I feel like Im visiting family when we come to Montanas. Vegetarian options: Im sure they have them...but havent looked hard myself. Dietary restrictions: I have a severe allergy that makes eating food I havent prepared myself, very difficult. The front staff have been amazing in helping me modify my meals & the kitchen crew has always produced exceptionally flavored results! Parking: Parking has never been an issue; good sized lot with good lighting. Kid-friendliness: Montanas is very much a family-oriented establishment. Wow - greeted friendly at the door, met our waitress right away, drink order was placed and had drinks on the table and appies in a shorter time than we stood waiting at the door of the other restaurant! Customer service makes all the difference and you nailed it! I hope other local restaurants can learn from your example.

My favourite restaurant! I come here often and the food, the atmosphere is great! Today I had Jeremy and he couldve not been any more perfect. Excellent service and always made sure we were good. A place I would highly recommend for folks to come and enjoy because its such a great atmosphere.

Were a family of four that, at times, visits this establishment regularly. The staff are great performers and rarely miss a beat but if they do you can trust that the staff and leadership will handle the issues appropriately! Visited with family members during a late August vacation. The free parking and easy to find location influenced our decision. There were food and beverage options to satisfy all age groups. The adults favorite choice was the all-you-can ribs (not just the quantity but the opportunity to try different flavours). Our server was great (courteous, patient, and informative). If you have a meat craving, youll leave here happy.

Went to kelowna location last night for supper. We had 2 orders of wings, brisket sandwich, full order of ribs, and two orders of burgers. Service was good. Food was warm. But the brisket sandwich was extremely dry, the wings were a little over cooked as well. But the burgers and ribs were good.

We went to the Kelowna location tonight for dinner. One of our orders was nacho s. Asked the server if we could have more sour cream. Her response was sorry we re out I find it hard to believe Montana s would run out of sour cream. Our bill was north of $100. I would have gladly paid but was not given the option.

I recommend this restaurant. Wifey and I each had steaks, they were excellent. I had the shrimp appetizer, excellent. Two Ceasars, excellent. Their steak sauce isnt my favorite, but the steaks were so good that they didnt need it.

I hadnt been to Montanas for at least over a decade. It will probably be another while longer. The service was above and beyond from the moment we arrived. It wasnt very busy. The food has always disappointed me here for what the cost is. Ive been to many smokehouses where the meat is flavourful all the way through. The ribs and brisket here are sub par. Kind of dry and missing something. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu has lots of great options.

Never disappoints. It s a must for all our guests. Kid-friendliness: High chair provided. My child never really eat anything from the kids menu but it s also a colouring sheet to keep them entertained. Food : 5/5 |

First time at Montanas, and it was the advertised happy hour 2-5pm, but we were told that they didnt do HH at this Kelowna location by our server. She was still super friendly and good at recommending some menu items and keeping our glasses filled. We ordered ribs with a choice of sauce that I dont remember, and a sirloin steak medium rare (big mistake) as it had no flavour and tasted rubbery. Dont order steak at a rib house! Lesson learned. We tried to get a limited time offer free appetizer spinach dip by downloading and using the app for the first time. It seems the app coupon doesnt work right away, so the server tried to give us a family/friend coupon to make it free instead. But then it either didnt work because we were using a gift certificate to pay for part of our bill, or you have to wait a day or so to have the coupon appear in your email. It did. We can, however, apparently use the friend coupon she gave us next time. Spinach dip was the best! The space does have some Yellowstone feels, but its mostly a place for young families and older men who want to enjoy a rack of ribs in peace (not quiet). Not so great for a date, birthday, or special occasion. Itd be happier if they bring back happy hour to this location and fix your app!

Excellent restaurant! The food is great and the portions generous! Love that most of the menu is comfort style food too. The Mac & Cheese was so delicious! And all the meat dishes were amazing! Having a party or event there is the best! Book ahead, they are very popular! Definitely one of our favorites!!! Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible. I am blind and had no issues at all inside or outside the restaurant.

My husband had the fish and chips! The fish was so flaky and fresh tasting. I was bummed I didn t order fish too. But I had the big beef rib. It was delicious. Were not into spicy foods so I had the apple butter bbq sauce, it was excellent! We had great service. I was glad we walked here from our hotel.

Amazing experience with our family of 5 tonight. None of us had been before and everyone really enjoyed it. The ribs were phenomenal and we walked away with a bottle of the chipotle honey sauce (SO GOOD). Our 3 young children loved it, and everyone left with full bellies. We will definitely be back. Special kudos to our server, Lauryn, who went above and beyond to ensure we all had a great experience. She was attentive, intuitive, and knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some great dishes. I felt very bad & worst experience with the pickup food delivery at backdoor. The guy came in formal dress had very rude behaviour and looking not professional chef /waiter or any helping guy. The staff of Cactus club is so soft and welcoming but first time in my life I felt rude and unexpected behaviour of Montana s BBQ & Bar staff. So where that place not professionalism so I not recommend to order pickup order at backdoor.

Tiffany is the best server in the northern hemisphere. I have never been to the southern hemisphere so I wont speak to that. Vegetarian options: You can replace chicken with shrimp in some of the meals. And the shrimp is DOPE

I m rating this 5 stars because as far as chain restaurant in Kelowna it does not get better than this. I m aware it s not fine dining but their food is very good and their service is even better. Server Tiffany was an absolute gem and special personality. Everything was quick and food was as ordered and hot. We ve eaten wing night (wings are huge by today s standards) and appys in the bar numerous times as well and it s always great and fast service. Recommended for sure. And open til 11pm so much closes in town (not downtown) by 9 or 10pm. Also side note, upgrade your side to mac and cheese A+.

Jeremy was an excellent server - super attentive !!! We even noted he went out of his way to make the guy at the table next to us happy, with his cocktail selection !!!

Take out menu on Skip isn t as big as regular menu. One time my order was over cooked and dry (bbq chicken wrap)

Jordan was our server and he was wonderful. The food was amazing and came quick. The only problem we encounter was the manager ragging on Jordan while he was trying to take care of his tables. It was very unprofessional. This could use some improvement. The first part of being a leader is helping your staff, not yelling at them to work harder. Thanks for the great service Jordan.
