Server was friendly and quick. You can join the waitlist from the website. All the brunch options were really tasty.
I do my best to support local but this chain breakfast spot is always sooo consistently delicious. Huge shoutout to Joe (our incredible server) and the two ladies who appear to be managers of some kind. Your staff is always great, full of smiles, and generally lovely. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in downtown. The brown butter hollandaise really hits the spot every single time 🤩 I haven't been disappointed by this restaurant yet!
Fabulous, Fun, Filling, Food! OEB is THE.BEST.BRUNCH. spot in Kelowna, possibly BC? The staff (Joe and Natasha) were very friendly, polite and attentive. The kitchen staff look like they're enjoying themselves and put out dish after amazing dish from an open kitchen. OEB is THE.BEST.BRUNCH. spot in Kelowna.
My husband and I come here almost every month. It used to be one of our favorite spots for brunch or lunch, but lately the food quality seems to have gone down. Last time my husband ordered the lobster scramble and it turned out to be just shrimp and eggs, no lobster? Disappointed !!
As someone with an egg allergy, they are very accommodating to that. I know what you’re thinking, why go to an egg restaurant when you’re allergic? Because their food is next level, pretty much everything is cooked in duck fat so lots of flavour, their cold smoked salmon is to die for and they have mimosa flights! Sometimes the service is shotty but the food always makes it worth it. Prices are a little higher but you get what you pay for. We will be back 🥚
We never have to wait more than 5-10 minutes for a seat (if we have to wait at all) Definitely one of our favourite breakfast spots in Kelowna. They are always consistent and the hash browns are to die for. There is lots of seating and a decently big patio space with umbrellas as well. The servers are all very kind and efficient :)
Was recommended OEB by a friend and I was super excited to grab lunch! Unfortunately the experience was far from what I expected. The glasses were dirty (hard water spots can be expected but these were dirty), and we paid 70.09 for 3 meals. We had the BIT burger, the cluck Norris sandwich and the Moroccan waterfowl eggs Benedict. The BIT burger lacked flavour but the texture of the burger was good and the Moroccan waterfowl Benedict had good flavour. However, the cluck Norris sandwich had no cluck… there was little chicken and we had to put the side salad on the sandwich since there were no toppings (pictured below). Additionally, there was supposed to be cranberry sauce on the sandwich and we counted two cranberries total so we had to ask for a side of sauce. The service and the atmosphere was great! I’m not sure if there was new staff being trained, however I’m hoping that management can take this constructive criticism and ensure that they have better portion control standards.
Tried for the first time while in Kelowna. Really good food, I like bacon and it wasn't paper thin it was thicker with great flavor eggs done perfect my only draw back is there was only 1 type of potato. I like hash browns they have wedges but they were tasty and cooked right . My wife tried the Eggs Benny. Eggs were perfectly done.
Food is good. But what a joke this is what $28 gets you here . Worth maybe $10 Never again Food : 4/5
I visited OEB and ordered poached eggs with my breaky. Surprisingly, the eggs were refrigerator cold! I asked the server, she said they cook them in advance and keep them in the fridge. Gross. Why would a restaurant serve cold eggs? So, I thought I would try something different next time I visited, and got the crepe with berries. Again, refrigerator cold! The OEB in Langley is fantastic, and same with Calgary. I am not sure what is happening in Kelowna but it is not the same quality by a long shot. I will never return to this restaurant.
Great value, great service. Some really cool dishes, plus traditional breakfast.
went there December 2 around 10 AM. There was a young guy working behind the coffee bar. He was our waitress and we didn t even know it because it ended up being the pregnant girl that served us. Ordered an eggs Benedict and it had sweet jam on it. The menu said it had tomato jam, but I was not expecting it to be sweet so after the first bite, I kept trying to flag the waiter down for over 20 minutes and was being ignored. Finally, my husband fly him down and we explained that we were not expecting sweet jam on an eggs Benedict but we wanted to exchange it for something else but we were trying to fly him down for 20 minutes and he was standing right in front of us that we no longer had time to order another dish because we had an appointment to go to. Boy boy where we left with an attitude. He came back and threw the bill on the table and gave us attitude until we walked out the door. The air was so thick you could cut through it with like a knife. Won t be going back to get attitude like that. Do better it s Kelowna!
A bit pricey for what you get. Our server was slow. Food is tasty.
Cant afford it as often as I go there. But what it has that most restaurants lack is great taste and value for the money Oddly enough, my favorite dish is one called Dont even go there, Well, I do and will continue to order it,not exactly for calorie counters LOL.
A pretty great eggs benedict, duck fat hash browns how could you go wrong you might need to make a reservation.
Was in a few weeks ago and it was a mixed experience. Our server was great, really friendly and attentive. My husband enjoyed his sandwich, however I was very disappointed with the blue crab Benny. The crab meat was grey and tasted like canned tuna. The prices were also pretty high for the quality and quantity.
Great food, great service. Would recommend!
Nice place. I got the lobster scramble poutine. It was a bit fishy, lobster seemed overcooked and missing a poached egg. But atmosphere & staff were nice. Boujee menu - will try something else next time Food : 4/5
Service was great. I made a mistake with estimating my appointment and they corrected my mistake for me. Which was really appreciated. Staff was friendly, great location downtown and quick service
Coffee is now watered down when compared to prior visits. It s very much diner coffee. Food is great and consistent, but recent portion and presentation were kind of off (for my benny and my one twin s benny at least). My other twin had the Do Not Even Go There but found it primarily filled with banana so wanted a bit more berry. Atmosphere is great but I feel like the place is slipping a bit. And there are four tip options on the terminal, maybe start lower than 18%. Tip fatigue continues.
Very enjoyable and the food was great.
I have visited the place a couple of times for its delicious breakfasts
Management changed February of this year, the atmosphere definitely was a lot less vibrant. Our server was quite judgmental just by the way she interacted & looked at myself as well as my friends. Our time there started with a very cold and short welcoming, almost as if our server had somewhere else shed rather be. We started off with waters. My friend J & I shared the Florentine Eggs Benny dish, now my friend J is gluten free & for some odd reason our server told us No we cannot just substitute her croissant for an english muffin even though it is a health issue. The server was quite worried about wasting a half of the croissant, though Im sure another order wouldve came up not long after using the other half as it was brunch and busy. Due to my lack of patience as well as being a server myself, I did not appreciate the service we were receiving so I asked our server Afterwards (our meal) may I speak to the manager?. The server went & grabbed the manager right then in that moment.. while I was trying to enjoy my food. The manager turned out to be the actual managers twin sister & she was filling in for her ( I found this out right before leaving) as I asked where the usual manager was & thats when I found out that there was new management since february. On top of the cold service, before leaving I went to the bathroom & washed my hands. There was urine around the toilet that spanned a foot from the base of it, no idea how. I miss old management, the energy is not the same, nor is the servers or the food. Quite a let down, as this was one of my favourite restaurants.
Tasty breakfast - had the chicken bf poutine. Recommended
I had the pleasure of enjoying my birthday brunch at OEB yesterday. I absolutely love everything about this place, from the amazing food selection, to all the staff and the ambiance. I ve raved about OEB s food and service before but today I want to say a special thank you to Gillian and Taylor. Unfortunately, I wasn t feeling good and was visibly unwell and in pain and they went the extra mile to check in on me and make sure I was okay. I am extremely grateful for Gillian and Taylor and have had nothing but excellent service that goes above and beyond every single time I ve been there. Thank you for going above and beyond and making every experience there full of laughter, warmth and sweet memories!
Food was amazing. Service was great
English This weekend, I ran the Kelowna half marathon, and after 21k, I was on the hunt for a great breakfast spot. Thats when we remembered that every time we come downtown, theres always a long line to get into this breakfast place, so we decided to finally give it a try. Honestly, it was our first time at OEB Breakfasts, and we were pleasantly surprised! Ill definitely be back. I had the Farmer Johns Delight, and I added shaved Montreal smoked brisket, which was hands down the best decision. Highly recommend this place if youre looking for an amazing breakfast experience. Thats when we remembered that every time we come downtown there is a long line to get into this breakfast place, so we decided to try it for the first time. OEB Breakfast is a fantastic spot for breakfast. The menu has delicious and unique dishes, and the service is friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming and perfect for starting your day. Highly recommend!
Greasy spoon, their triple full breakfast provided less than the way it reads and I was still hungry.
I can t say enough good things about this location. I m a fan of OEB and will seek in out in any city I m travelling too. Kelowna OEB, Provide s a level of service that morning people deserve. Cheers to Dailene and her team.
Crepes with healthy taste. Everything is fine
Friendly staff and superb food. Great coffee!
Good menu, good service
One of the best two or three brunch options in Kelowna. A great menu, fabulous service, and excellent food.
Absolutely one of the best breakfast places in Kelowna. You must check it out Food
One of the best breakfasts I have ever had! The service was amazing, and the quality of the products was exceptional. I recommend getting the lobster scramble. If I lived in Canada, I would go every time. The prices were pretty fair, I would say.
That salmon eggs Benny is definitely among my favorites, the GF potatoes were excellent. Wonderful servers.
I ordered coffee with Splenda and cream. The server delivered the coffee with cream but without Splenda. Server asked if I would like Splenda or brown sugar. I said Splenda. The server took payment from another table took 2 orders and deliver their coffee with their condiments still no Splenda. We had to asked again. The hostess and the food delivery person was very friendly but the server not so much.
Great brunch place, always easy to recommend. Service is extremely fast, food is great quality, and they never make you feel rushed out the door. Just a tad bit noisy with the exposed ceiling concept. But oh well.
Such an amazing breakfast! Got the Salmon Benny with spinach in it and it was amazing! Maya gave us great service as well so friendly and attentative!
Awesome service by Maya. Food was fantastic. Had the not so borrowing French toast. Cinnamon and orange. With maple Syrup . Check it out ..
I have been here twice and the place does not disappoint. Excellent service and the breakfast is always flavourful and hot and did not take forever to arrive at the table .
Really disappointed with the food we were served today not sure what s happening with this restaurant but I asked for a salad instead of potatoes and I got some weird lettuce with nothing in it, not even a cucumber not a tomato no dressing on my plate, but two easy eggs and one piece of sourdough bread 20 bucks. I don t know who s taking over this place or if it s the same owners, but it wasn t like it was when I first went there a year or so ago.
Amazing Food.
So delicious and friendly staff.
SOUL IN A BOWL
The service is pretty good, they are pretty fast at all even being a busy place.
Presley was our server and she did a great job. Such a delightful girl, would highly recommend this spot and will be back again for breakfast!
I love soft boiled eggs. And they got it right the way I like it. I have been to Victoria to Banff but not the way they do. Soft and wet but not runny egg yolk. Serving to price is just right. Appetising presentation. It could get packed as early as 8am so come down early. Hosts are nice and welcoming.
Sat on patio. Went to counter to order. Food very good. Coffee good. Parking: About 5/10 parking stalls, easy access. Wheelchair accessibility: On level so easy access
Service is disfunctional. Thankfuly food and coffee waere really good.
Hearty breakfast options! Great and friendly staff and service was quite fast as well!
Food: I ordered the Korean bulgogi eggs benedict. It was okay but underwhelming, which I did not think was worth the $22+tax. The beef did not even taste like bulgogi. So I really recommend that they cook it in a more flavourful bulgogi sauce, and adding the sauce to the dish when it is served. Thatd make the dish a lot better also perhaps serving it with kimchi. Service: Our server was very unsmiling and seemed to avoid me whenever I wanted something. It was hard to get her attention even just to ask for more water. Thus, I did not feel like my table was accommodated well.
I wanted to give my review once I got got back home here in Toronto and loved your place, so fresh and my waffles were great, the Hotel I was staying recommended your establishment for breakfast. See you guys again once I am back in town.
Best Breakfast ever!!!
Pretty big menu, consistent delivery and lots of serving staff. Food was pretty ok. A little boring. Busy spot, it was really loud inside.
We will definitely be going back!
Great restaurant with exceptional service. This was the go-to brunch spot for my wife and I during our ENTIRE stay in Kelowna it is so good we went 4 days in a row
Great food and amazing service! We were in town for the weekend, and ended up coming here every day for brunch! Such friendly servers and chia seed pudding is
Amazing breakfast poutine with a good number of gluten free options.
Delicious food. decent service
Did not dine in, but I don t recommend takeout. Food was poorly made and far too overpriced.
Tara was our server (sorry if I spelt it wrong) she was amazing! Literally everything was perfect! Food was outstanding. And Tara was so kind and attentive. All around an amazing experience
10/10 food + service
Great food. Very tasty. Portion sizes and price a great.
Had breakfast there this morning. Food was good. But the service was AWFUL. It wasn t insanely busy and there was a lot of Staff working. So they re really shouldn t be an excuse for the level up on the attentive waitresses.
Had a great time, the blueberry chicken bangers are to die for! Will definitely be coming back, one of my favourite gluten free breakfast spots in Kelowna.
Very impressed by their standards, food cooked in beef tallow and their eggs were so orange. Amazing. Ive been here 3 times now, greeted and serviced with care and always leave with a happy belly!
Gillian and her team are so fabulous. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with big smiles, great service and fantastic recommendations. The portions were all big, the quality of the food was wonderful (thick crispy bacon for the win), and there were loads of options for everyone with dietary concerns. We will for sure be back! Thank you Gillian! Vegetarian options: We also had a vegan friend and they have an incredible avocado toast with hummus! Dietary restrictions: We had a gluten conscious person with us and there was no issue finding options!
Just another amazing OEB experience! Bright and friendly atmosphere, delicious foods and customizable menu!
My husband and I ate here with our 4 month old and had a bubbly, enthusiastic server named Olive, who started our day off wonderfully. She was so suited for her job, and made our experience that much better!
One of our favourite
Ive never been less satisfied eating a Belgian waffle. It was dry, tasteless, and the syrup was watered down. Prefer real Canadian maple syrup. Coffee and service was just okay. I will not go back.
The food is really good. Tasty, they have organic ingredients I belive. 2nd time visiting OEB I wasnt disappointed. The service was great at this location. Early morning not busy and the girls were really welcoming. Parking is paid on the street from 9am to 5pm. Place was clean and I saw the chef working in the back. Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose Parking: 9to5 paid parking Kid-friendliness: Good for kids.
Excellent food, superior quality compared to other places in town. Really worth the visit on my birthday today. Will go again for sure. Thank you for the nice hospitality and to make us feel welcome.
Great food. Service was very friendly and good. Great location. Trying to find parking is the only bummer. Parking: Street parking is usually full. Paid parking is your best bet to avoiding driving around in circles.
Reviews for local brunch were true. Great place to eat. Small and easy to get to. Breakfast was delicious. Ill be going again next time Im in town. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options. The other reviews Ive read hold true, very tasty and GF.
Best breakfast in Kelowna
My husband and I eat here to celebrate special occasions! Mostly because the food is on the pricey side but OMG is it worth it every time. There s never a time where we are left feeling unsatisfied. We have eaten in a handful of times (rare for us since we enjoy eating at home) and always order through DoorDash. Thanks for supplying the best breakfast in Kelowna! Classic Eggs Benny is to die for
My favorite place to get breakfast if the wife isnt cooking :)!!!
I had a great breakfast with my daughter. Yummy and very fresh! Great service by everyone. Music was a little loud for me. Found it difficult to have a good conversation but other then that, an excellent experience.
OEB is a nice place, very comfortable and well suited to breakfast or brunch needs- and youll generally find the service agreeable here as well. However, its popularity means that you will likely have to wait, or in some cases struggle to get a table. The pricepoint is also not cheap. Expect to spend more than your regular breakfast fare. However, since the food is of a higher quality, you might find this is okay.
I have eaten here before and it has always been a fabulous experience. Today, it was disappointing. We were nicely greeted. We met with friends we haven t seen in a long time and needed to catch up. Even though we talked for a long time before ordering, we remained aware that there were other empty tables. The four meals arrived at the same time, but two meals were cold. I requested a hot meal, which was provided, graciously. The bagel was difficult to cut through with a steak knife. I finally took my meal home. I m not sure if I will return
Stopped by OEB for some brunch during our Kelowna vacation, we both ordered the Farmer Johns Three Egg Scramblets which were pretty good. It was a nice amount of food for the price, however we didnt find the omelette to be super flavourful. Thats the only criticism though, as we left with full, happy bellies. Prices are competitive with other cafes in the area. The staff were really friendly and helpful, our experience overall was a good one.
Overcooked eggs and sad looking breakfast bowl today sadly stick to the traditional breakfast. Didn t get refills on water, service was poor!
Amazing breakfast!
This is a great restaurant for families, they were super accommodating and I lived there menu and decisions on what to cook the food in ( they used tallow instead of seeds oils)
If you are looking for a not ordinary breakfast - you just found it. Great vibe, interesting menu, tasty food, good coffee, light spirits - this place has it all! I wish we had a piace like that in Seattle. Paid street parking. Located in downtown Kelowna. Vegetarian options available.
Always love eating at OEB, its our go to breakfast spot in Kelowna. The Croque Madame is absolutely superb. The restaurant is super clean, the staff engaging and the manager Dalene really cares about the user experience. Highly recommend!
Fun, funky place with a stellar menu. Personally I loved the French toast option with lemon curd.
It was an interesting experience to say the least. We came to this OEB location at around 11am on Feb 20, 2024. Food was good. However the waitress that served us was not - she practically slammed the coffee mug on the table with her back turned. It was so loud that the couple at the other table basically turned around to look at us and gave us a look that said what was that?!?! Didn t even get creamer or sugar or any cutleries till we asked a few minutes later. She was not friendly or helpful pretty much during our entire visit. Perhaps we were expecting too much but the couple next to us got everything together with their coffee meanwhile we had to ask more than once. Maybe because we were an Asian family and the waitress didn t like it. Maybe not but it certainly felt that way. Given Kelowna s known reputation on racism the waitress certainly helped reinforce it. The other waitress (the one wearing glasses, tattoos on the right arm) was very sweet and helpful. She basically picked up the slack for her coworker.
Great service and some of the best hollandaise sauce in kelowna. Menu has amazing variety, and the breakfast poutine bowls are worth the price of every for sure! Check out the Gold Digga
Fabulous food - the lobster scramble was AMAZING and my partner had the Duck breakfast... both were beyond yummy Parking: Great spot - definitely eat here!
Always get the eggs Benny. So good. Service has always been great every time
Eggs benny were delicious!!! The hollandaise sauce was perfect!!!
Best traditional benny ever
Basically shoved out the door because they didnt let us know they were closing in 20 minutes and we would only have 10 minutes to wolf down my highly overpriced, disgusting veggie burger.
Food is pretty good! Not worth the price in my opinion but not bad if you just have an occasional brunch date here. The thing here is the service is ALWAYS so off putting, there is no one trained properly on how to actually serve here. Service is always disorganized, uncomfortable, and awkward; it makes you not want to stay. The manager greeting in the front is kind though.
My food was delicious We had two groups, however when I got there I asked to sit with our other group and I think it was the owner, she was happy to move over a table and accommodate The atmosphere is great! Everyone is happy, the service was great! Also the food came quick and the entire experience was efficient and stress free!!! Omg my food!!! I d go again for sure! I had the Belgian waffle with whipped cream and strawberries, with a side of maple sausage !! Parking: Parking was good cause it was Sunday and downtown wasn t busy.
Terrible terrible terrible! Didnt even get food. Our server was reviewed by the manager on duty at the table right beside us. Seriously.... we ordered juice and coffee, wrong juice came and no spoon to stir coffee. Not a big deal its ok. Ordered at 1120am server never came back. 1205 still nothing hostess says hummm you been here awhile. We will get your food right away. 1232 still no food, 3 other tables had turned over and the second set of people received food AFTER we were told our food was coming. And to top it all off our server stormed out of restaurant and never came back! No appoligy, no new server when we finally said we are leaving was told NO WORRIES. I know this place is busy and Im sure they dont give a rats behind about us or our experience. Because there is always someone waiting.after being excited for my son and I to have our weekly brunch and try somewhere new this place we will NEVER be back and will NEVER recommend. I feel waiting over an hour and us not making a stink we should have got better than no worries!
I love the menu options at OEB. The coffee is great and the staff are always in motion wearing welcoming smiles. Kudos to Presley, our young server who made us feel so welcome today. I make it my go to in Kelowna.
I am a regular to OEB. The staff are always super friendly. The portions are always great. The menu is huge and I have a difficult time deciding each time I go. They have a lot of vegetarian and gluten free options. And the quality of their eggs Is something I have not found anywhere else. This is a must try when in Kelowna.
Wonderful staff and excellent food. We frequent this location for team meetings and the staff are always accommodating. Definitely one of the best spots in Kelowna to enjoy breakfast.
Lots of really good options on the menu, service and food were both excellent, thanks also to the hostess Dailene for looking after us.
Wonderful place . Would have stayed longer as we were visiting but very busy and noisy.
Great breakfast spot! I recommend the eggs Benedict
Best breakfast in Kelowna! Friendly staff, fast, tasty and reasonably priced. If you havent tried this place you are missing out.
Had the Classic breakfast. It was excellent and would recommend to anyone looking for a great option on breakfast. :)
Yesterday I decided to visit this place for the second time, as my first visit was great. Unfortunately this time I had the most horrible experience of discrimination and racism. There was a big line to enter. The manager/owner was welcoming everyone with lots of enthusiasm. When it was my turn, she completely changed her attitude and gave me a bad look. She asked me if I had a reservation which I responded no . She immediately told me that everything was booked and that there is no way for me to get a table. I asked her if I can be placed on a waitlists and asked how much longer the wait was. She never responded. Instead, she ignored me and started to let in the next person in line and so forth. While this was happening, my WHITE Canadian friend joined me and when it was our turn again she completely changed her attitude. She smiled and welcomed us in a very friendly and polite way and gave as a table. My friend did not see what happened to me before he arrived and since I did not wanted him to have a bad moment I did not make a big deal of this. But I want to publicly say that what this person did to me was racists. I am not from Canada and I am not white, but that doesn t mean I don t have the right to eat at a restaurant like everyone else does. I don t want anyone to apologize or anything. I hope the person who did this to me reflects and changes her attitude and mindset because no one deserves to be hurt like this.
Trendy, well put together food with some creative dishes. That said, the ambience is in juxposition with the food. The setting is very primary school cafeteria complete with plastic everywhere, concrete floors and echoing noises. Suggest this would be better choice for take out.
Changed my mind after going another time. Normal breakfast is very good and well prided. Meghan is an excellent waitress and joyful.
My wife and I love this place. The team is very friendly and the food always delicious. Highly recommend. Merry Christmas
Great place for a nice breakfast.
Excellent breakfast and brunch selections.
The best service cute service
Absolutely fantastic, the Eggs Benny and Breakfast poutines were delicious, one of the best hollandaise sauces ever. Highly recommend!
So good and the service was amazing!
Brutal service out is in the back and had 2 different servers they keep forgetting about us & the food had no flavor at all , all this hype wouldn t go back !
Unfortunately we didn t have a good experience dining here for brunch. In fairness it was very busy as it is a popular spot. Service was very slow (but pleasant) The food took ages to arrive and when it did get to us both our eggs were cold (not warm. Actually cold) along with the hollandaise sauce. When I alerted another server, she took the plates away and then just microwaved them to give back to us. No offer of a price reduction or anyone checking up on us. The poached eggs I ordered were the worst I have had, sounds harsh, but it s true. Sorry lads, being honest, it was not a pleasant experience
OEB is my only spot for breakfast...and Kelowna has some beauties. I sit at the bar with Natalie, or Caitlyn...Zoey or Larkin. Connor has a deadly sense of humour. The energy is amazing. Great music, the staff clearly love being there. And...like most great cultures, this one has Dailene. Youll see her quietly sitting at the bar in a beautiful red blazer on her laptop. Food is unreal (recommend the chicken sandwich or the chia bowl). Great vibe. Just go there. Trust me.
Both meals came out cold after long wait. No one offered to refill coffee. Had to flag down a staff member to ask her to warm up food. She took it back and microwaved it. Poached eggs were so runny the whites weren t even cooked. Many staff walking around and not one person asked us how our meal was. Wasn t worth the price, won t be back.
We stopped here for brunch and truly enjoyed every bit of it. It s always a little packed so book a reservation before you go.
I was confused after realizing the server had entered an automatic 20% tip on our $85 brunch without warning or asking. We were a group of 2. Didnt realize until after I paid.
OEB in British Columbia is a bit like In N Out Burger in California: you really want it when you can t get it. OEB is considerably more delicious and the best poutine breakfast specials you can reliably find. It s often quite busy, so reservations are a good idea. This trip we re visiting Kelowna for just long enough for two breakfasts and both have been at OEB.
Very nice place. Great service. Busy always. Always see a line up out the door. Had to try. Tastyier than it looked. Perfect medium eggs. Nom.
They didnt serve us and we were waiting for 30 minutes while others went in before us we were 3 people and they didnt care.
Food looks and tastes great. Perfect size portion, good service and very reasonable prices. Will definitely be coming back.
10/10 breakfast, I got the truffle butternut eggs Benny and it was sooo good. Higher end brunch food but so many unique options and I m obsessed

Great selection of meals, great atmosphere, good service.
Visiting from out of town, had a terrible experience with Josh. Poor attitude and customer service. Tried telling us we didn t reserve our table then gave us attitude after. Not coming back
Extremely poor service from our server, Josh. His attitude was extremely poor, making no effort to treat his clients with respect. Being my first time here in Kelowna, I was hoping for a much better welcoming experience. I will never be revisiting this place. I will ensure my friends & family keep their distance as well.
Came here to Kelwona on a quick weekend trip, we decided to try out the famouse OEB location here. Big mistake, employee Josh the worst of the worst service! Beyond rude and literally treated like garbage, at this point wondering if he is racist .we were very polite and well mannered. I don t understand how this individual Josh still works here? Employees like this can bring a whole restaurant reputation down. Fair warning everyone don t ruin your special days at this place while Mr Josh is working! Cheers
All I need to say is it was great.
Id heard this was the place for breakfast/brunch in Kelowna. 1 hour wait. Very noisy inside, no one calmed down the customers who were shouting, so hard to hear the conversation at our table. Really poor selection for vegetarians, no healthy options, no salad choices. My avocado artisanal bagel came with maybe 1/4 of an avocado, no flavoring added. Added a coffee, 24$ without tax and tip. Nothing exceptional, it was fair at best.
OEB coming to Kelowna was the best decision ever! They are my favourite go-to breakfast place, as their menu is extensive with endless different and unique options. Their crab eggs benny, and lobster scramble are my personal favourites. The service is immaculate every time, and the wait time is more than worth it to get in on a weekend! Highly recommended for anyone who loves breakfast foods with a fun twist!
Really good food. Portions are large. Highly recommend. Food
Great, as always, this is probably the 5th different OEB I have visited, and the quality is consistently top-notch. Quite frequently, the restaurants dont try as hard in tourist destinations, but this was definitely not the case. Keep it up!
Very good and delicious
Yum Great breakfast
They couldnt figure out how to poach an egg properly. Then after going to the chef, they came back to ask how I wanted my egg when I asked for poached medium. They serve undercooked eggs, half of the whites were not cooked. Kids trying to pull off chef quality food. Our kids scrambled eggs had enough liquid on the plate to make the cold butter your own toast wet.
Super friendly & the food was great. Our server was great
Third time visiting. Have tried the short rib poutine, huevos and the croque madame so far. All three were very good but the croque madame was the best of all three. Kid-friendliness: We visited with a foldable wagon and they found space for it without issue even though they were super busy.
Great Breakfast!
Had a really good breakfast here!
Staff were excellent. The food was good but we left still hungry. I had the waffle with berries (1 strawberry cut in 4 and about 6 blueberries) there was a tiny jug of syrup ( half empty) and when I requested more was told that would be at extra cost. - ($22 for a single waffle plus 2 sausages and a sniff of berries and you charge fir extra syrup!! - not impressed). Then if you cant eat eggs then your choices are minimal , admittedly I didnt ask if anything could be substituted on some dishes but took so long to find something that I could eat I was disheartened.
A little better than your average chain, tight seating arrangement but only there for breakfast not to dance.
I do not often write reviews but I have to unfortunately write this one. Went for brunch with my family of 6 people at OEB. We are from Kelowna and frequented OEB since it opened. Unfortunately, both the food and the service have definitely been going downhill, but today capped it off. We arrived and ordered food. After waiting for 45 minutes, we asked why we had not received our food, as the table next to us, who were seated after we had ordered had just received their food. We were told that the food for tables for 6 takes longer than for tables of 3....even though we had ordered first. (what???) Apparently we were by told by the manager that if you are a table for 3 it takes 20 minutes for food and if you are a table for 6 it takes 45 minutes...I guess it doesnt matter when you get to the restaurant..... The server then went away, and came back to say that the printer in the kitchen had gone down and our order did not even get processed.....(how did all the other orders get entered and served but not ours??). After complaining to the manager about this, we were told that our food would be ready in 15 minutes.... When the food came, the eggs for the two egg benedicts ordered were just barely warm and one order was not cooked properly, but we ate it anyway....we also ordered an additional order of the fried potatoes....which never appeared... When the server brought us the bill it was for the entire amount and I objected, saying that we should get at least 50% off for the hassle, and the prolonged wait...not to mention the ridiculous excuses.... and to send the manager over... The manager came over and offered 40% off with two $10 gift cards for future use. I told her that I had to say that we were longtime customers and the service and food quality had been deteriorating.....after which she informed me that accidents happen.....plus new staff....plus recovery from a flood....plus the fact that we had only been waiting 42 minutes before complaining, and they got our food out in 12 minutes after that.....and ....well we ate the food right!! Well that just rubbed me the wrong way entirely! What manager corrects a customer on a 3 minute difference in wait time, or tries to make a patron try to feel empathy for the problems of a business when we are paying $20+ for what amounts to 2 eggs and some toast!?! Or says...look how good we did...we got your food out 12 minutes after the 42 minute initial wait and asking after our food twice??? I will not return to OEB and told the manager as much.....very disappointed, as this went from being a family brunch experience to a negative run in with a non-customer focussed restaurant manager.....Such a shame.
an amazing spot to have a delicious breakfast. been here a handful of times and the food NEVER disappoints. a must try if your in kelowna
The service and food was amazing.
Too good!!!
Good food, nice wait staff, and very tentative. Would definately go back.
Its not bad, but not great.
The best breakfast place I have been too! The chia seed pudding and the scrambled crepe were amazing, would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
Good but expensive!
Delicious food and lovely service. We were evacuated from the wildfire and the food and energy of this place recharged our strenght. Thank you for being open during such a challenging time :]
Worst omelette I ve ever had in my life. There was no cheese on it and it was ice cold. Tasteless and disgusting, could not even eat it.
Didnt enjoy the mediocre expensive food. Hollandaise was awful. Couple of mimosas and breakfast for 4 was $170. Never again
Not sure how they dont have 5 stars , service is amazing , drinks amazing and food is the best breakfast Ive ever had . Im from Vancouver and go out of my way to stop here for a bite
Came in on a holiday this place welcomed us but they have a weird policy. There s 11of us, In befalf of the other 10 I came in so that they can prepare a table for us and the lady told me that everyone has to be there in order for them to sit us, So I called everybody in and turns out they can t sit us!! The lady explained that people makes reservations weeks ahead and that s understandable but how can we make reservations to a place we don t that exists in the first place since we re not from the city and we re passing by from Penticton going back to Alberta. We ended up having 3 people can only eat from this place having the others to go to a different restaurant and what s the funny part is they could ve sit us all since they did have a lot of empty seat from no shows. the management should do something about this since Kelowna gets a lot of tourists and make room for walk ins.
Best breakfast ever. Love the gluten free waffle with extra whipped cream. Other favourite is the Tuna Crudo. Manager - Dailene - is always super friendly :) Dietary restrictions: Always accommodate my gluten free requests
Fun breakfast place busy, good food
We had great food. Our servers were wonderful. It s a very bright place. The food is fast and you won t wait long. Smiles all around!
The food was sinfully delicious!
100% Recommend!
**edit in reply to OEB** The bill was actually not adjusted as stated in the reply to the review. We have gone to OEB in Vancouver a number of times and were excited to go in Kelowna. My husband and I ordered the Avocado toast and a traditional Benny and they were really great. My son had the waffle with Berries, which cost an extra $3 - it came with only 2 small Sliced strawberries and 2 sliced Blackberries! Pretty skimpy portions for $3 add on.. my daughters crepe was similar, it had a whole banana which was very very mushy and bruised and only a few Berries. We brought it to the attention of the server and showed her the bananas, she acted like she didnt see anything wrong with the bananas. I showed her more clearly and she said she would find out whats going on in the kitchen. Nobody did anything to resolve the problem, nor did they offer to adjust the bill. Our server also did not offer to refill our coffees or waters. It was only 8am and not busy at all. - We will not be going here again.
Amazing food! Service was just a little slower than expected.
Sure have taken pictures. The food was delicious and served with style! Whipped cream and fresh fruit in a wrapped crepe. The waffles were fluffy and piled higher with whipped cream. Fabulous. The breakfast classic delicious too!
Good food and fast, a little loud
Long waiting time
Very friendly welcome and attentive service with excellent, reasonably priced food in good portion sizes! It took 40 minutes to wait for an empty table. but its definitely worth it.
OEB is always a hit for breakfast/brunch. Great food, made with quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the service wasnt great this time. I had to ask for coffee refills on multiple occasions, along with things like extra napkins. The attention to detail was lacking.
Everything was delicious and the staff were all so welcoming, we felt very comfortable eating here. The hostess remembered me from a previous visit several months ago and it lent a real persoal touch, creating an honestly memorable experience! Thank you kindly!! Food
It was best choice for our breakfast in Kelowna friendly staffs and fresh also delicious foods as well highly recommended Food
Ordered eggs Benedict Florentine, with the eggs poached medium. When my meal came out I went to cut into my eggs they were both so undercooked that clear liquid poured out, the whites were also liquid like underdone jello. Inedible. Not to mention my meal was completely cold. Eggs, hollandaise, potatoes- all cold. Like cold cold too not just like had been sitting for a couple minutes. The tomato sauce on the eggs Benny was sweet like the sweetest jam youd ever tasted- not something you typically want when you order a savory breakfast. I do appreciate that they brought us a coupon for money off for next time- but why not take money off of our bill this time? It was bad THIS time. Needless to say the coupon is useless because we wont be back. We are now in the Tims drive thru to get something to eat because we are both still starving!
The food came out relatively quick and the service was ok, but thats about all that was good. I had the poutine with 2 medium poached eggs. One egg was basically hard boiled, and the other needed about 2 more minutes of cooking to even be considered soft poached The potatoes were crunchy and everything was only slightly warm. The other order was worse. Whole plate was cold and the eggs were so undercooked Im amazed they were able to get them on the plate without them breaking apart. Judging by the table beside us, this experience isnt uncommon here.
Good place to have eggs for breakfast. The dishes are good and a good size. Very friendly staff
Long line but worth the wait. Got the crepes at they were soooo good.
Vibrant atmosphere! Lots of selection. Great service.
We stopped in for brunch on a whim, and I am super glad we did. The coffee was really good and just the right temperature. On the suggestion of our server, I got the Bulgogi Eggs Benny, my husband got the Double Trouble, and we shared a slice of French Toast. The French Toast was really good, it had a really nice hint of citrus flavour along with the cinnamon. My Benny was awesome, the hollandaise sauce is made with brown butter and it was so flavourful. The potatoes were amazing, theyre cooked in beef tallow and theyre so crispy. I will definitely be back the next time we are in Kelowna!
Always enjoy oeb and the meatless to say bowl. Having said that we all enjoyed our breakfast. The staff are super helpful and even accomdsted a request that wasnt on the menu!
Great staff and food! Went here with my mum while waiting for my partner to get his haircut. Really great experience! All the food and drinks were wonderful and very tasty. And even though my partner was late from his haircut they weren t pushy for our table and let us wait for him and when he came he ordered food again. Really wonderful experience! Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options available. Dietary restrictions: Notes on the menu for dietaries! Parking: Plenty of parking in the surrounding neighbourhood area. Kid-friendliness: Kids section on the menu :) Wheelchair accessibility: On the street entrance, without steps and plenty of space around the tables.
Unbelievable blueberry sausages
This place is incredible. Cant believe we live here and didnt know it was right down town. Weve been missing out. Staff were very friendly and the food delicious. We even had a chat with the manager and she was super passionate and went above and beyond! The energy in this place is infectious; everyone was smiling. Definitely will be spreading the word and we will be back over and over again.
Very overpriced and not worth the wait time ! didn t get 2 ingredients with my dish but wasn t told they were out before getting my meal. No refills on coffee as the servers were just too busy talking. Very unfortunate and overpriced experience. Absolutely no wheelchair room also
Food is great, but just don t order delivery. I ve tried multiple times and it takes an hour or never gets done and cancelled.
Very disappointing. The coffee was weak, the food was over priced with no quality or flavour. Honestly the ham looked like it was bought at a Safeway deli. Finally our server was not helpful with the menu or trying to find a solution to a simple request. Not impressed at all.
Such a good breakfast here. Different than your usual breakfast place. It is a bit pricey but tasty.
Had a delicious breakfast, and Id probably be a repeat customer if I lived in the area. Food was really nice, at a good price. Latte and chai latte were less good but it didnt take away from the overall experience.
Late to the party here as we live closer to another breakfast spot. Had brunch here today. Cool vibe, creative and varied menu, something for everyone. Service was a bit slow and the coffee is too watery for my taste or I totally would have given them 5 stars. I had the smoked meat Benny - a generous portion. Friends had a veggie dish, Belgian waffle and pierogis dish. Would go again for sure.
