Had a great experience at Sunny s. Food was great, atmosphere is awesome and service was top notch. Huge thanks to Robyn!

My girlfriend and I make it a priority to go to Sunnys at least once a month. The food is always consistently great. We feel very welcome and its our favorite breakfast spot.. not only in kelowna, but that weve ever been to. The atmosphere is very warming and would recommend everyone to come here. In the warmer months, they even have the option to sit outside! Our usual serves are Dayton and Alex and they always make sure we have everything we need and we look forward to seeing them everytime! Its incredibly special that we are always remembered by name by Robyn as well. Counting down the days until our next visit...

The best place in BC maybe Canada for breakfast.

It sounded good on the menu... I had high expectations... and it was above expectations. Really good location, atmosphere, service and food! They have it all.

They had a printer issue but took full ownership to the delay. It is absolutely wonderful to see a business that wants a fabulous experience for their customers!

This was actually the best chicken sandwich of my life messy, but literally didn t care. I love that it s a scratch kitchen and it s open so you can see what s going on (and also very clean). Caesars were also great. We went around 10:30 on a Sunday, so it was a 30 minute wait, but well worth it and we enjoyed our time at Okanagan Spirits a few doors down. Staff was busy, but understandably so and were attentive and efficient. Great spot and sad we live so far away!

Quaint little place, tables fill up fast. Service is fast and attentive. Free refill drip coffee. We had the All Greens and the Chick on a Raft. Eggs were poached wonderfully with both meals being excellent. We paid $45 for the two meals and a coffee.

Top of the line brekky place with very pleasant staff. Had eggs benny. One bbq pulled pork and one ham. It was to die for. Only negative was that the seats were a bit stiff.

Service was quick and friendly without the irritating chatter that some servers feel they have to make. Ingredients were of a better quality. Scrambled eggs nice and fluffy. I d definitely go back again.

We had breakfast here and would definitely go back. Excellent friendly service and the food was great. One son had the pancakes... big and fluffy and my other son had the Big Dog Hash.

A must experience dining and drinks. As the stars indicate everything is over the top. A regular stop now so we can experience the entire menu. Parking: All good so walk or roll on in.

Fantastic place! The staff are amazing from the host, server and kitchen. The menu is very creative making it difficult to choose an item. I ordered a dogs breakfast, enjoying 2 chicken wings, ham, bacon, sausage, poached eggs, bbq brisket, tater tots, cheese and more!! Crazy good! On the patio they accommodated our little dog with his own bowl of water and a bone! Our server is very knowledgeable and accommodating. We will be back!! All the staff were lovely, and the food was good! The hollandaise was a little strong on the acidity, so that took away some of the enjoyment, bet the rest was great. The bread for the Benny was foccacia I believe, which was really nice because I could it two bennys without feeling heavy. Eggs perfectly cooked and hashbrowns were well cooked.

I have to say, the fanciest breakfast patio I ever had. Just look at their presentation,a touch of violet flower on my pancake.!Gave a smile on my face. Foodwise,their pancake is soft and fluffy and that is the way I like it. Though their soft boiled/pouched egg could be a little less runny. I want it soft but not runny. I know it is hard to achieve but there is one breakfast restaurant (in kelowna,a few blocks down) that just got that. Reasonably priced. Right in the Okanagan lake area. So you can conveniently walk the lake front after your breakfast which is a serene thing to do at 8am with fewer foot traffic in the park. I had my me time/moment and it is an experience I will remember and treasure.

Ordered the BLTT. Amazing. Bacon was super crispy as well as tasty. Perfect amount of mayo to make an all in all very tasty breakfast sandwich. Vegetarian options: Most options were offered as being made vegetarian. Kid-friendliness: Servers were super friendly to some kids at the table next to me.

Our first visit to Sunnys was fantastic! Delicious food AND friendly & excellent service...right from the initial Greeter, our Server, Alec, and our interaction with Robyn! We will be back!

Even though they show a dog on their banner, and provide dog soup, you cant have your dog on the outside patio. We have eaten at numerous patios on this street, and our dog was welcome. We also waited half an hour before they said anything. Not impressed.

What a vibe Sunnys is for a full experience of eating out. Robyn is such an incredible Chef and Manager. She made us feel so welcomed. Dayton is such a fun server who made the experience incredible as well. Now to talk about the food! Omgosh the flavors light your mouth up like July 1st. The hollandaise nothing sauce is to die for. Left feeling so happy and looked after. A must visit spot for anyone!!! Thanks Robyn and Dayton!

I won t name drop but our waitress was super rude and possibly biased. She wasn t present for us even though she was our waitress and a nice gentleman filled in for her. I found this strange since she was tending to all her other tables surrounding us, including making conversation with others. My friend had warned me that she wasn t very nice when i joined her, and I only saw her at the end when she wordlessly dropped our bill on the table (we weren t ready to leave but felt as if we were being kicked out). She was extremely curt and her energy was the most unwelcoming i ve felt in a long time. Nasty feeling that left a sour taste in my mouth. Behind us we heard her telling the older white couple behind us not to rush. Very bad vibes. Too bad since the food is amazing, but I won t be back since I felt like my friend and I were treated worse than anyone else in the restaurant and we just wanted to get out quick because of her. Our city has a long way to go in terms of unconscious racial bias. Hopefully the next generation does better.

Food was overhyped, just okay. The hash browns were too salty and the pancakes were dry and flavourless if you don t put honey in it The mimosas and the juices are good.

Yummy modern diner! More of a fancy take on a diner! It was a lovely vibe and atmosphere and the food was really yummy. You could tell if it was a weekend it would be really busy!

Service sucked

Our starts off with saying we look rough, then tells us to ask for refills on mango ice cubes but doesnt talk to us once the whole time were eating and then takes the cash and doesnt give us change until we asked for it 20 minutes later.

It s always Sunny in Kelowna. A terrific, casual, but high end quality diner that is a must for breakfast lovers. More importantly, it s not a chain but a local establishment connected to another great restaurant RauDZ. The service was attentive and very helpful. The head chef was kind enough to stop by and ask how the breakfast was which is always a good sign about confidence in their product. Their house sausages have a nice Cumberland like flavour and the golden egg yolks, speak quality. Best of all, it is so great to see the kitchen in the front as you can sit around it like a bar and watch your breakfast be made. Great concept. Chefs are like bartenders but with a better skill set. Go get some sunshine at Sunny s!

I go to plenty of the places in the downtown area but this one takes the cake as the best breakfast place downtown. A SOLID 11/10. I always try the eggs benedict whenever I go to a breakfast place abd let me tell you theirs is my favorite from any other restaurant ive ever been too. My wife and I stopped in yesterday for the first time and we enjoyed our dining experience thoroughly. We both got the Chicken meets Waffle and it was absolutely delicious, as was the lavender lemonade. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. This is arguably one of the best breakfast brunch places I ve ever been too and I think the first of its kind that I can recall writing a review for so it s not like I m a food blogger/critic or something. The place does have limited seating but it s well worth the wait or you can always sit at the bar. The food is so fresh and is just wow!!! They also made modifications to us as we are vegetarian and they accommodated which is pretty impressive. The flavours and ingredients are amazing and everything is as done perfect. Has a great breakfast here. A lively, fun spot near the lake shore. Only reason it doesn t get 5-stars from me is the coffee. Ugh. There are so many good roasters around, seems like better coffee is available?

A friend took me there for breakfast was awesome food and service.. busy but very pleasant staff (Christine s the best) :)) BUT for a first visit I m sure the others are just as smiley and efficient.. VERY accommodating

Went at 11am on a Saturday and it was busy as expected (15 minute wait outside) but the service was fairly quick once we were in. We ordered, ate, and left within an hour. Appreciated the variety of options, good quality free run eggs, and gluten free options. Also appreciated having the option of choosing the number of eggs Benedict to order, which makes it nice for sharing at the table. Our server was super friendly- they forgot something I ordered, but ensured the issue was solved right away.

This place was HOPPING! I have a feeling its always busy, so expect a wait list. It is a long weekend, so we expected a wait. Allan was incredible with follow and and follow through onnthe wait list and staying in communication. I ordered the Everything green on gf bread, and my friends got the salmon Benny and the BLLT. The eggs were poached to perfection, and the meals were delicious. Food took quite a while, but again, the kitchen was going non-stop and turning out beautiful plates. Food was fantastic. Price point is bang on. Service was really good, especially considering how busy they were. We are really glad we waited for seating! Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options. I had never been to Sunnys before. Im in Kelowna visiting family. My husband and I love going out for brunch, so when we saw Sunnys, we had to give them a try. The food was so good, and the thing I loved was being served our food by one of chefs perks of sitting at the chef rail. The staff were friendly, and the service was great. Will definitely recommend to friends visiting Kelowna.

Sunnys is a lively little restaurant in such a prime location on Bernard. There is usually a 15-30 minute wait for breakfast/brunch, but its an easy wait with so much to see/do in the area. The restaurant itself looks super rad and captivating. Whether you eat inside or on their patio, its beautiful! Ive eaten here about a dozen times, and the food is always excellent. However, 4 out of those 12 times, there has been hair in my food that has been fried into it, so it is not easy to just pull it off of my plate. Id love to give this cute little spot 5 stars, but the multiple visits where hair was present, has dropped it down one star. Still a great place, nonetheless!

We waited for 1 hour for a table and 45 min for average food

Our server was Kaelin, she was absolutley amazing made our experience just that much better. We got the eggs benidict 3 ways and all were absolutely amazing! Dare I say best I have ever had, but truly was! The bevies were also delicous. We also got the chicken meets waffle which did not disappoint at all! they know what they are doing here! Definitely will come back here. The wait was a little long but if you go and put your name down you can do shopping which is a bonus in my opinion, so many awesome stores around there. Oh and the hasbrowns, AMAZING!

The eggs beni were absolutely fantastic, the hash browns seemed a bit off, still good but couldve been better. Service was good and friendly and the patio outside was very nice. Prices a bit higher then usual but similar to other establishments with similar atmosphere. It was clean and neat, I would recommend and return.

The restaurant is wonderful. The food is exceptional. The waitress was wonderful. The only complaint is the person who seats you. He is extremely unorganized. We waited for about an hour to be seated. We observed at least four empty tables, that stated empty. Long story short, we were seated at a table that was empty our entire wait. Simply wrong!

Nice breakfast spot, smaller shop with nice vibes. Ordered the 2 signature dishes featured in tv show. First dish it s surprising how well the peanut butter toast, bacon and eggs put together. A must try. Chicken and waffle appears to be a bit greasy for my liking. Home made jam is amazing.

The food was good, but they werent super friendly with my service dog. I was kind of surprised with all of the dog branding and and their association with the SPCA. Service was really slow and a 15 min wait just for water in very hot heat.

Was really nice you had fresh air constantly and the atmosphere of the place felt like you were just having a nice meal in a movie scene if that makes sense. Lemonade is top tier flavor wise. Yummy fruit bowl.

Had the big dog hash and it was a very hearty meal with some flair. The hollandaise was absolutely on point. I m a bit of a hollandaise snob and hard to please. Trust me when I say it s legit here. Sunny s is now a go to for me when visiting Kelowna.

You usually have to wait for half an hour on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The restaurant is a bit stuffy and noisy with a lot of people. The food is OK. The decoration is relatively retro and has many dog patterns. You can take photos when there are not many people. The average per person is less than 40. Parking: On weekends it can be hard to find a space in street parking

Shared breakfast with the folks at Sunnys, Robyn convinced me I needed todays special dessert, pumpkin white chocolate cheesecake, it was a divine ending for my birthday celebration!

I came here today with my son who wasn t in the best mood and the staff at Sunny s caught onto my struggles and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I ve never witnessed such thoughtful and caring staff before. On top of that, the food was exceptional as always. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Been there twice this year: first time in September and second time in October. I found that the first time the food was better: we both ordered the same things (chicken on waffles and eggs Benny) but the second time my chicken was a bit too crunchy, almost burned, and the hollandaise sauce on the eggs wasnt as excellent as the first time (according to my husband it was the best he ever had). But, other than that, the place is really nice and all the servers are welcoming and friendly.

First time having brunch and the food was excellent. We both had sandwiches and hash browns which were some of the best weve had for sure! Good vibe. We were seated between 2 people at the bar after about a 5-10 min wait which was a bit squishy considering there was lots of room elsewhere at the bar but would definitely go back.

From the moment I walked in, it was packed, but it was Nov 11 , and not much was open. Came back half an hour later and was worth it. When I sat down, I was presented with a menu full of unique and mouthwatering options. Everything sounded delicious, from the savory egg preparations to the artisanal breads and jams. The breakfast poutine. This inventive dish featured crispy hashbrowns and cheese curds topped with a fried egg and rich gravy. The combination of flavors and textures was incredible! The hashbrowns were perfectly crisp on the outside while still fluffy inside. The salty, gooey cheese curds and rich gravy complemented the egg beautifully. I devoured every last bite. In addition to the poutine, I also sampled some of their one-of-a-kind egg preparations. The fresh eggs were cooked expertly, with just the right amount of creaminess while still being fluffy. The side of hashbrowns was a nice accompaniment. To complete my breakfast, I enjoyed some sourdough bread with boutique jam from Salt Spring Island. The bread had a wonderfully chewy texture and tangy, sour flavor that paired nicely with the sweet, fruity jam. It was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. From the unique food to the cozy atmosphere, everything about my breakfast experience here was fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an extraordinary morning meal. The creative menu and skillful execution exceeded my expectations. Ill definitely be back again soon to try more of their breakfast!

They are my favourite breakfast spot in town there I said it. I went there after my housemate raved about it and surely she was right. I ordered Bobs breakfast Whammy with hash browns and my friend ordered the Chicken meets Waffle. When I tell you there was silence as we were eating that s how good the food was. We did leave smelling a little greasy so I wouldn t sit right at the bar next time. It is a tiny restaurant but very cute and like I said new favourite breakfast spot. Servers and chef are also very friendly, it also gets super busy and attention is divided but honestly fair enough. The prices are quite comparable to most restaurants downtown. Thanks Sunny s

Really excellent brunch in Sunnys today, catered for me, the Coeliac in the group, brilliantly, cooking all my items in separate pans and they were well informed about cross-contamination issues, great food, with great service, and sitting at the bar, I could see the cooks in action and they were excellent, highly recommended for Coeliac sufferers and everyone else too.

*Gluten Free Options* Incredible service and knowledge with my Celiac needs! Felt confident that the food here would likely not have cross contamination. The day I first went, a beef dip was on specail and they made a gluten free one for me. Its was incredible! The hash browns are mindblowingly tasty! I had to go back again the next weekend. New fav breakfast place!

We came for brunch on Sunday! The place is packed and rightfully so. The food is absolutely delicious! The Servers and Kitchen are amazing to watch as they make this establishment run very smoothly for being so busy. Highly recommend!

Delicious food on a nice patio. Only improvement would be letting dogs on the patio, given the restaurant is named after a dog!

We were greeted by a very friendly server and the food was delicious. We went in on a Thursday morning and it wasnt too busy. The decor and feel of the place was very trendy. My 3 year old loved her pancake and bacon she got (we had to order sides for her as they dont have a kids menu). For the only breakfast place we could find in the area open at 7:30am (other than Timmies), and considering the bright yellow colours and images of dogs everywhere, it was really not kid friendly. My husband had to run back to the hotel to get a portable high chair for our 9 month old so he could eat (he loves the hashbrowns and scrambled eggs) and there was no change station in the bathroom so I had to run back to the hotel to change him which ended my meal abruptly.

Absolutely yummy food, quick service, chicken raft, chicken sandwich, Benny are very good. We will come back for sure.

We had coffee and orange juice to drink. Chicken and waffles as well as one of their breakfast sandwiches. Everything was fresh and super delicious. Great design, super friendly staff, quick service and absolutely delicious food. The place to be but expect a bit of a wait on the weekends. Kid-friendliness: Saw two families with kids and the kids really seem to enjoy it.

As seen Big Food Bucket List, I tried the chicks on a raft and it did not disappoint. Unlike anything Ive tried before, the bacon, eggs, and peanut butter were delicious. We sat at the bar and watched the chefs do their thing which was fascinating in itself. Big kudos to them on that alone. The only thing I will say is that we left feeling/smelling greasy. It didnt bother us all that much but it was definitely due in part to the open kitchen concept :)

We knew this was going to be a great breakfast place the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is very cozy and unique with really neat accents, like the old records (Abba, CCR etc), wood and brick finishing, unique light fixtures etc. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and offered coffee - very friendly and quick service. The menu has a great variety of items with everything youd want for breakfast - including some unique combinations that create some amazing taste sensations! I had the special which was a chorizo, bacon, tomato waffle breakfast sandwich - which I would definitely order again. Totally recommend Sunnys for a cozy, unique, and tasty breakfast place you wont forget - and at a very reasonable price.

Absolutely best eggs Benedict in town! I always order just one egg and I m full! Too bad closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays or I d be there then too!
