We held our Christmas luncheon in the separate space with a capacity of 14. We had an amazing hostess who took great care of us. Pricing is reasonable with a strong selection for most. Highly recommend whether you’re staying at the hotel or a local looking for a restaurant. Stop in and the hotel has a beautiful Christmas tree display to wrap up your outing with a special photo!
Marina was absolutely amazing. My Partner and my Daughter had two meals at the Restaurant. The food was amazing, however Marina's service put our experience over the top!! Such a pleasure.
The food is great and decently priced. Their happy hour has an awesome selection. Marina is FANTASTIC!! She made our visit really great. We were there during Mother’s Day week/weekend and went to the grill multiple times during our stay. Marina was consistent and very personable! We can’t wait to come back!
I ate dinner at Vintner’s on a Tuesday night. The place was dead; maybe half a dozen patrons. I ordered the Mediterranean pasta dish ($16) I requested to add Cajun chicken breast ($6) I also requested to add some prawns ($8) The dish came out fairly quickly. A dish of pasta with tomato sauce, mushrooms, asparagus, the added prawns buried within, dry as all hell, topped with a baked, cooled, then reheated, UNSEASONED chicken breast. I called the waitress over as soon as I had identified that the dish had been, from what I could tell, prepared incorrectly. I inquired about the prawns, and noted that the chicken was not “Cajun” by any definition that was familiar to me. The waitress explained that this was the chicken that they had and that it was not technically “Cajun” per se. I accepted her explanation and began digging into my food; it was just alright. The service I received was decent. The food was a big let down. “Vintners” is a mediocre sports bar masquerading as a nice hotel lounge. Would not recommend eating here. With tip, a pasta dish that I could have screwed up on my own at home, $38.
Looking at some other reviews it did make sense to see that their rating sits at a 3.9 only. We will be there in October again and now I worry. (I have had other nice experiences here in the past though, before Covid times). I called in to make a reservation a bit ago and whoever handled the call should just be let GO! Non friendly, non engaging, not a delight, does not like her job you can tell! I hope to dear G we do not get her to serve us is all I am saying here and hope to be able to change my review afterwards or add to it. In Kelowna there are only a select handful of restaurants who are engaging and friendly like Erica Jane and Central and Old Spag Factory who we frequent when at all possible. Not too many good ones here though and I have resided here since 2008 to know the ups and downs. That call was a real DOWNER! Just was asking on if any music and all she said was NO and then I said I was not meaning live music and just some light music and she said NO again. Just a rude brush off don't you think?? Plus when I asked on price to verify before booking I got more on the (plus gratuities) than anything else. People like this do not ever deserve any extra! I am almost cancelled it all right then and there but the price was right for their feature to still try and hope for the best. (Today's date is Sept 23). Time will tell.
Horrible resteraunt pool front experience, servers don't care about customers with disabilities They come across like they are too busy to cater to their guest needs Resteraunt employee very rude and un accommodating to personal guest needs And when I stood my ground, I was treated like I was wrong . Will never stay or eat here again due to cult mentality , small town clicks, unexpectable for progressing service industry 15.oo beverage three hour pool service run like a concentration camp and pool was dirty and slimy , not nice for hotel paying 4 star hotel fees . The pool was unkept and i have given it a 2-star rating at capri Coast Hotel . My sister stays at country club resorts and found this hotel to be a tad trailer trashy . With all the outside traffic three hour refresher and pool scum . I ordered breakfast and was rushed out and wasn't allowed to order a cool down beverage at pool 40-degree Celsius day. I wasn't allowed a refreshment and was ordered to leave . I was dehydrated and felt very sick. And had to drive after . I almost fainted from the ghastly heat and horrible experience. The offering water jug @ this resteraunt was not filtered . Drinking kelowna water is not recommended. The hotel didn't care either . My family was bullied as well . By the resteraunt employee. Hotel management only supported resteraunt , claimes . I demanded a refund because this was not a relaxing vacation away from home . Stay clear , close that resteraunt down needs staff overhaul.with better additudes about service industry and caring for community values . Just My experience , i am a Mystery shopper since 2009 Westkelowna & surrounding areas . Giving Google Reviews is my job .

The star rating reflects the great level of service and the convenience factor (if you're staying at the hotel). The restaurant is in the lobby level of the Coast Capri Hotel (which is next door to a liquor store and urgent care). Accordingly, my husband and I (who were unfortunately staying at the Coast Capri during the independence holiday, as there were no other hotels available) had zero expectations and were just looking for a few calories at breakfast before hitting the road. The service was very prompt and courteous. The food was as we expected. Altho, pleasantly surprised that the over easy eggs were made properly, the English muffin was so smothered in butter that it literally came oozing out of the muffins and a pile of butter laid on my husband's plate. We requested a new English muffin and they happily provided a new one with no complaints. I recommend the breakfast sandwich as a safe bet (I got the aioli on the side). It is tough to mess up - and luckily, they don't butter the English muffins on the sandwich so it was as can be expected. The cost was very reasonable for a full breakfast. I can't imagine paying any less, unless we were to have gone to a fast food chain for breakfast.

We stayed at the hotel and we had our dinner here. The food was okay but the service is not it. Servers are very rude.
We were seated right away, but the server kept cleaning tables rather than to take our order (younger asian girl with long hair). She didnt bring us any menus either. A few tables after us were seated and given menus right away. And had their drinks brought to them. We waited 15 mins and ended up leaving to another place with better service. Wont be back here!
I wanted to compliment the waiters Jenn at hotel restaurant Coast capri hotel. They provided excellent service during my visit and made the dining experience truly enjoyable. She was attentive, friendly, and efficient in attending to our needs. They took the time to explain the menu and provide recommendations, and they made sure that we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Please pass along my appreciation to the waiters for their outstanding service.

We had the same staff over multiple days. She was very nice and attentive. The food tasted as expected it could have had a slightly larger portion. I m overall great experience and if we stayed here again we would return.

Great service, awesome staff. The food was well worth the cost, which was very reasonable..best Chicken wings ever. The Butternut squash and apple soup was amazing.
We went for breakfast and waited over 35 minutes for eggs Benedict. When it arrived it was cold and almost raw runny (I d asked for them to not be runny).Both of us took one bite and didn t eat it. When we informed the waitress, her response was That s weird. I just watched them do it. I don t see how that can be. Felt like we were called liars. Then her follow up was to charge us for a cup of coffee. Not very good service sadly. We had to leave for our appointment so couldn t wait for another breakfast not that it was offered.

A decent restaurant, no real menu difference between lunch and dinner. Food is rather high priced and very few items are decent, the high priced steak stuff is tiny and awful, ate here 4ish times during an event, wont try again.
Excellent friendly service, all the service staff are excellent. They make you feel at home , if you are a regular or not. I have found my place.

Ive had breakfast here a handful of times during patio dining only. The food is prepared with great care. Nice job chef!!! The micro greens garnish on my avocado benny made me so happy... and then I tasted it. This is by far the BEST breakfast in town. The service is wonderful. And the coffee is great! Cant wait until dine-in is back on. Well done!
Had dinner at Vintners Grill Kelowna on July 13th with my family. We waited 15 minutes for the server to come to our table to get our drink orders then another 20 minutes for him to bring our drinks. We had three children on our party, all of whom were getting hungry and restless. The server didnt take their orders first or make sure to bring their food out first. He disappeared several times for long periods and never checked on us or apologize for the delays. Four of our relatives left before the food was served, which didnt arrive until over an hour after we were seated. The manager took over the service, but my sisters meal took another 25 minutes to arrive at the table. At the end of the meal, 2 hours after we arrived, the bartender told us we had to leave because the restaurant had closed at 8pm and it was now 8:30pm. There were still patrons at other tables who were not asked to leave. Then I overheard the bartender telling another hotel employee that she was off at 9pm and we were holding her up because we didnt leave at 8. After the excessive delays in getting our food and drinks, the two times we had to go to the bar to try to get service, the gross indifference of our waitstaff, and not neing offeted any meal comps, to be treated as if we were an imposition was insulting! Will never eat at Vintners again!

Thanksgiving dinner was a huge disappointment. Meal was overpriced. Soup was lukewarm. Turkey appeared to be pressed meat. No cranberry sauce. Too few vegetables. Will never go back.

Im glad to stay here but the evacues dont have enough to afford other meals on the menu..tired of eat the same thing over and over for 2weeks..I hope they can change that..sorry for complaining..
Good food quiet atmosphere
Really good service and all 6 of us were impressed by the presentation of the meals. Live entertainer was high quality.
Enjoyed the Robbie Burns dinner immensely. Best haggis of my life so far. Would have enjoyed a little more theatre (such as piping in the haggis) but great experience nonetheless. Looking forward to trying the regular menu which also liked great, and will return for Valentines Day specials next month

Live music on Friday and Saturday, usually a very mellow relaxed feel to the lounge makes this one of my favorite spots to stop at the end of the week! Becoming more popular, and in the hotel with limited seating however sometimes makes for a crowded space.

Hard to give an acurate rating as we only tried the breakfast buffet for 2 days. Buffet was fresh but basic. Gave 4 stars as the manager was quite friendly.
Excellent food
Have been there many times. Food is always mediocre at best, todays was particularly bad. The service is usually neutral but far from inviting or friendly. It also seems to take forever to get seated, drinks, or have the order taken. The prices are too high for the quality and their buffet is absurdly lacking (they only ever have eggs, some fruit, toast and then daily they rotate between either sausage, bacon, or ham and they also rotate between pancakes and French toast). If youre looking for something tasty, quick, with friendly service, this is probably not the place for you.
I gotta say for a hotel restaurant, I am impressed. Not only do they have gluten free options, but also dairy free ones too. 10 times better than any restaurant around it. Food also tastes fresh, no gross same-grill for everything- kinda taste.
Breakfast included with room was good. Eggs, ham, pancakes and lots of pastries. Had lunch there today. Asian rice bowl was very food, but spicy at all. Steak sandwich was cooked perfectly & just the right amount. Service was excellent.
Usually pretty good, but Fathers Day breakfast and timeliness was pretty lousy. Wasnt even busy, not even half full but took an hour to get our table of 6 people our food which was either undercooked or wrong.
Terrible service. Wait staff untrained and indifferent. Waited 20 mins in a nearly empty restaurant waiting to be served, finally walked up to bar to ask if I could please order some food and the bartender said she would be right over...she never came. Two tables were sat AFTER us who received prompt attention and drink orders and STILL we had no one come over. We finally just left and on our way out I told the meek little man of a manager why we were going somewhere else to eat dinner he shrugged and said uh, oh, sorry and that s basically it. Wow, excellent management skills. Never coming back.

My experience was pretty mediocre all around - from staff to food. I had the chicken burger with brie. It doesnt mention on the menu that there are capers on it so I didnt know to ask to hold them. I feel like you should really mention such a polarizing ingredient.
I totally enjoyed the soup and sandwich special! It was more than i could eat and for only $12.95! And, my waitress was awesome!

I m often here for work. And I usually get a complimentary breakfast.. I noticed every frickin time I put the coupon on the table just to let them know, they never serve me. It s been 20 min and I still don t have a glass of water or anything... But hey, the buffet is great.
Fabulous food service entertainment
Food was fantastic. Great menu that hits all the favorites. Staff were very pleasant and everything looked clean and tidy. Bonus: There is a beautiful pool patio to sit out on. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed eating here. Will be back again!

An Oasis of calm with delicious food and wonderful wines.
FOOD: ordered calamari which was typical, nothing outstanding but not bad. Also got chicken nachos and prawn quesadilla. The waitress was really nice and offered us the half order of nachos which was perfect (and not on the menu). Both were AMAZING - but thats because Im a cheese lover and they were loaded with cheese. They didnt cheap out on chicken or cheese. Definitely would order there again. SERVICE: super nice, didnt take too long to get our food. Waitress also brought the drinks to us by the hot tub. We ordered vodka sodas and felt they had a funny taste to them. She explained how they were trying a new local house vodka (and gin). She was super accommodating and swapped them for a premium vodka.

Tyler the bartender makes a great whiskey sour with Knob Creek. Also the wait staff is extremely personable and they obviously like their workplace. This means if you eat and drink here you will be pleasantly surprised by the level of service at a hotel of this calibre. Its much higher than you would expect for the price point of how much a room costs and the location.

We stayed at the Capri hotel and this restaurant is on the first floor . We had great meals and delicious drinks. The only thing giving this place four stars and not five is they need more staff attendants. Good job a Canada!

The place is cozy, and clean. The food is excellent. The staff is hit or miss. Though they are friendly, it may take a while to get another drink or fix an order. But the food was worth the wait.
Perfectly done and very tasty steak sandwich with an incredible side Ceasar salad.
I used it 4 times for breakfast and once for dinner. Breakfast is buffet style. For dinner, I ordered a Reuben, a type of sandwich. The vinegar was strong, but it had a taste that you wouldnt get in Japan.
