I m so happy we have a Taiwanese restaurant in the area I became obsessed after watching a YouTube show about Taiwanese chicken and every chance I get I order from here the plum seasoned popcorn chicken is a must have and the minced pork bowl .

Excellent beef noodle soup and very nice owners!

Ordered doordash from them and had a bit of issue, but the staffs were very kind to help out and quickly resolved the issue. Overall very nice. Dietary restrictions: Pretty much able to help with any dietary restrictions as long as reasonable.

I thought O-Machi s food and service was excellent. I am quite critical of food and the quality of it and I can say that the dishes I received were excellent and handled with care. The ingredients seemed high quality and the service was friendly and inviting. I highly recommend O-Machi for the food as well as the enjoyable atmosphere.

Its great to go dining there again and again! I asked other local guest who has never visited Taiwan, and enjoyed the Taiwaness food there as well! Some appetizer dishes having good amount as main dishes with ordering extra rice! The vegan vegetarian dry noodles dish sounds great as well! Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian friendly restaurant! You can ask no onions, no garlic vegetarian style of dishes!

This place is a hidden gem! Their popcorn chicken is extremely tasty as well! I was brought here by a friend, now this is a Go-to place for me to bring people! Their service excellent, they are very prompt in their service! The kitchen works fast and efficiently! And the ambience of the restaurant is perfect for having a conversation with a friend! I ordered Soup Noodles with Beef Briskets . There were 4 small pieces of briskets (see attached photo). This restaurant is best suited for people on a portion controlled diet.

The day before yesterday, I went to have dinner with my parents, friends, uncles and aunts. I felt that the service was very considerate and warm, and the food was delicious, such as fried king oyster mushrooms, fried chicken steak, sweet and spicy, all very good!

I ve been to O-machi many times and the food is always great! But not this time. I came with friends who are all first time eating at O-machi, and it was a terrible experience for all of us. We came hungry and left not satisfied with what we paid for. Most of the items I tried to order are out of stock. The chicken steak and chicken popcorn are too salty, the pork wanton has a terrible aftertaste, the satay seafood noodle is too salty, the beef noodle is so blunt, the beef soup is so sweet, the thaj spicy chicken tastes gross and the bubble tea was just milk with tapioca. It was such a disappointment and I told our server when I did our payment. Not sure what happened but you guys have to improve the food taste or at least check the cook s standard. I hope you can fix it!

Ok so, my partner and I are huge foodies and we went to this place and were blown away! Everything was delicious but the Taiwanese teriyaki oyster mushrooms were the THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER ATE!! My partner and I could not get over the array of flavours from this dish! Just the right amount of sweetness, salty, savoury, unami, and even smokyness. My mouth waters just thinking about it. It was so good that I asked to speak to the chef, Ryan. They also have a huge array of vegan food! I was very impressed! I will be coming back for sure! Seriously dont think just go try out this restaurant! PS the prices are also very reasonable. Thanks guys, Laura Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options. PS, they use the same fryer for meat and tofu but could probably pan fry if you requested.

Nice place and service the really Taiwanese food, I say really. The Taiwanese chicken steak is really not exaggeratedly big. It is freshly fried and delicious! I can do this chicken steak, very well, that s great! The store s homemade kimchi is also delicious, and the chili is even better! I enjoyed it so much that I didn t even have time to take pictures^_^ I will definitely come back for the chicken steak. I don t get tired of it once, twice or even three times.

Food is great. Quite authentic Taiwanese food. However the portion sizes for the appetizers were tiny. We ordered the fried squid ball and popcorn chicken and each costs 13-14 dollars. We finished them in just minutes. Not sure why the portion were so small for the price we paid. We would gladly give a five-star rating if the restaurant either lowered the price for the appetizer portions or provided a more appropriate serving size for the price.

Amazing food, good portions and everything we tried was delicious and approachable (if you re worried about that sort of thing). Our 3 year old loved the minced pork rice and popcorn chicken, and both of us enjoyed our Taiwanese noodle dishes. On top of all this the service was delightful and warm. Definitely will be back!

Wow, I cant believe how amazing our meal was!! Every single dish was so flavourful and authentic! We were here once before during covid, but with the recent menu change/upgrade, we will be back often! The decor is not overly inviting, but that doesnt matter when your food is that great! We came to O-Machi expecting to taste the great food that most reviewers shared. We were on our road trip rushing to go to next stop and got there 10 minutes prior to its afternoon closing - planning to order food to go. We were refused service and told the kitchen was closed already. Too bad - we hoped they put the right closing time online.

The host was extremely friendly. Food was delicious too. We loved the shrimp fried rice, fried squid and tofu pudding.

We went for a late lunch and had a very good meal there. The Bento sets were good with generous portion. There were also fruits with the set which I considered bonus. Another surprise is the Taiwanese style pickle cabbage (Kimchi) which I dont see often even in Vancouver. The fried squid and chicken nuggets were also very tasty and not oily at all. Overall a nice meal before heading back to Vancouver.

Came here for a quick lunch with my family, I ordered the Taiwanese sausage bento box, squid, and oolong milk tea and pearls. It was delicious! Tasted like being back in Taiwan. Will definitely come back again when in Kelowna, strongly recommend.

My Taiwanese parents approve of this place soooo... you could say its LEGIT! What a pleasant surprise to find AUTHENTIC Taiwanese food in Kelowna on my family trip this summer. O-Machi had child-friendly dishware for my 4 year old and the best part was that he tried the salt and pepper squid and LOVED IT (photo included :)). The squid was the perfect consistency (not tough and it was perfectly seasoned like they do in Taiwan). We ordered Bento boxes (minced pork, popcorn chicken, and pork chop) and two bubble teas (authentic Taiwanese winter melon tea - if youre Taiwanese, youll know what Im talking about) and oolong milk tea with pearls) - the whole meal was so delicious that we ordered an extra bento box to take with us on the plane back home. Winnie and her team at O-Machi were attentive and so kind to us. We will definitely visit again when we are in Kelowna next!

I didnt expect to find such delicious Taiwanese food in Kelowna. The service was very good. It recommended surrounding attractions and purchasing information. The salted crispy chicken is delicious and I will visit again.

The chicken cutlet is as big as two palms and must be delicious. The milk must be delicious. The wonton noodles are refreshing and the soup is sweet and delicious. The fried rice and fried noodles are great value for money and are in line with Asian tastes. If you come to Canada and pass by, you must eat here. Very authentic Taiwanese flavor, the waiters are friendly and enthusiastic. Remember, the portions are huge, so don t shop too many at once. They are double the usual portions, and the prices are reasonable and not expensive.

Enjoyed a wonderful takeout dinner, our first here but definitely not our last... The Pork Satay Fried Noodles were excellent with or without the sauce, the Prawn Fried Rice was perfectly cooked, the fried rice was some of the tastiest we have had in recent memory, and the Fried Oyster Mushrooms were fabulous... We will be back again soon, most Highly Recommended...!

We had not been here for a few years. We have only ever dined in. Atmosphere: The set up right now is a bit different, with barriers between the tables but they are displaying photos of places in Taiwan which our kids loved seeing. I would not go here on a date night but a dinner with the kids is perfect. The service: Hands down the friendliest service I have experienced in a long time. We told our server we were plant based and she made sure to let us know about all the ingredients, how they were prepped and what was vegan-friendly. She pointed out what was in the photos hanging in our booth, said that was near her home town in Taiwan. Food: delicious and fresh, great value for money! Good sized portions, especially the appetizers. We had the oyster mushrooms, tofu appetizer, dry noodles (they arent dry but they arent soupy), spicy dry noodles (our fave) and kids had fried rice and fried noodles w tofu. We will be back for bubble tea!

Cute restaurant. Chicken popcorn was pretty tasty. Stir-fried veggies were nice. Spicy dry noodles were almost inedible due to the saltiness. Beef fried satay noodles were also pretty salty. There wasnt much flavour behind the salt for the noodle dishes. The noodles werent my favourite, as they were pretty starchy and gummy. Ive never had Taiwanese food before though, so perhaps thats how its supposed to be. Great, quick service. Id come back to try the rice dishes and desserts but wont order the noodle dishes again.

Great restaurant in Kelowna serving up nostalgic Taiwanese food and dining experience. Food was great; staff and service were wonderful, totally remind me of home. My absolute favourite was the vegetable fried rice (not pictured as I was too busy eating). The flavour was so authentic, I couldn t stop eating. Will definitely make this our regular pit stop when we are in town.

I used to really like O-Machi and then I went recently... AND IT WAS EVEN BETTER. Spicy dry noodle, the breaded chicken breast, Taiwanese fried rice - all so very good. The mung bean smoothy is a favourite. Seriously. The staff is great, too.

On the way to Banff, I found an authentic Taiwanese restaurant on Google that was surprisingly delicious. The service partners throughout the store are all from Taiwan. The beautiful woman who took our order today is from Kaohsiung. She is kind and considerate, and the restaurant has an authentic Taiwanese flavor. If you come to Canada and want to go on vacation to Banff National Park, you might as well stop in the small town of Kelowna and have a meal at Moji Restaurant. It is highly recommended and will relieve your homesickness. Also, and >> If you dont want to have a meal, have a cup of pearl milk tea or Taiwanese tofu pudding is also ridiculous!

Soooooo delicious!! I was very happy that we decided to eat here after driving past it a number of times and being curious. Everything was so amazing, we got the Minced Pork, Pineapple Prawns, and they Seafood Satay Fried Noodles. Each item was delightful in its own unique way. Only small problem was that one of the takeout containers leaked on the way home, but that didnt hurt the experience. I am looking forward to eating here again and would highly recommend!

Ok so my review is kinda mixed because I ordered 3 same items, twice from this place. The first time I ordered, ofcourse I liked all the 3 so ordered again but not happy for the 2nd time. Their food varies, not sure depending on what, cook, mood, takeout/pickup etc.? My order includes Spicy dry noodles, loved it for the first time, it was nice and saucy and tasted amazing but second time, it lacked all the flavors and the noodles were soggy, what a disappointment! Another thing I ordered was House Special Spicy Wontons, which lacked veggies and the third item was spring rolls which you can see were burnt in my second order. So this is my overall review, pics attached for your reference. I also added kimchi on the side which was okayish, not like the spicy ones you get in the store, it was more sweet with no chilies. Update: Dined in for the first time and ordered the same as my previous orders. We like spicy so repeated the order Spring rolls were pretty crunchy and tasted better than take-out. Spicy dry noodles were good portioned but were served warm and not hot. Wontons lack veggies (Pics attached). They should add more veggies/ peppers to the wontons for some crunch but yam fries were the show stealer. Didnt expect them to be this good but surprisingly they were. Do try if you visit. Highly recommended! And lastly, service was good hence adding a star. Rating updated from 3 to 4.

Chicken satay noodles are amazing!! Good bubble tea as well! The thing I didn t like about this place is it is like a maze with plastic up everywhere. it looks terrible and was uncomfortable. Food was overall good. Please change the atmosphere here!

We absolutely love O-Machi! Kelowna needed a Taiwanese place and this place hits right. Reminds me of home cooking but done well every time. We ve tried and liked so many things but I love the spicy dry noodles, chicken popcorn, pineapple prawns, bento boxes, and of course the bubble teas! The prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

O-Machi... sounds Japanese? Its Taiwanese. Do they have sushi? No, they dont. Its Taiwanese. But they have bento... Taiwanese! Dont be fooled, this is the real deal when it comes to Taiwanese food in Kelowna. Tired of over-sweet American Chinese food? Come here for something real. The san bei ji (three cup chicken) is not to be missed, unless theyre already sold out. The popcorn chicken is also killer, and the noodles will kindle nostalgia of your trip through Asia. Really, really good. This is my Chinese wifes current go-to in Kelowna and one of the only places that satisfies my sons ridiculously high noodle standards.

I am Taiwanese. The food is excellent, authentic, and probably wont be fully appreciated unless you know Taiwanese cuisine. I dont bother going elsewhere unless theres something specific Im hankering for.

Everything has their own flavours! I m definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu and their bubble tea as well!

Easily the best Taiwanese food I ve found outside of Taiwan!! The oyster mushrooms are delicious - they were a favourite of mine at night markets in Taipei and these did not disappoint. Additional favourites include the popcorn chicken and minced pork bowl. Even the take-out boxes are authentic!! I ll definitely return to try more of my old favourites... and for more mushrooms!! YUM!

I love this place. The plum yam fries are absolutely delicious - like mini donuts with a slightly sour plum spice on them. The o-machi dry spicy noodles are also amazing. If youve slept on this place, youre missing out.

The roasted grass jelly is the best I have ever tasted. It is not the hard roasted grass jelly like ordinary fresh yam, but soft and glutinous, slippery and sticky. You will know it after you eat it. From Bento, soup, appetizers and desserts all bring my memories back. Staff are super friendly! We loved our meal tonight! We ordered the minced pork bento, chicken leg bento, spring rolls and fish cake. The spring rolls and fish cake were both made in house and exceptional quality. The bento boxs were the perfect amount of food for us and each consisted of rice, protein, vegetables (broccoli and cabbage), kimchi, tea egg, and orange slices. There wasnt a single item we wouldnt order again. Highly recommend!

Ordered the popcorn chicken, beef noodle soup, o Machi dry noodles and 2 bubbleteas. The popcorn chicken is well seasoned and crispy yet juicy. The beef noodle soup has a delicious broth with ribbon pulled noodles and tendon. We tried the spicy dry noodles that had a good kick and a nice balance of meat to vegetables. Lastly, their selection of bubble tea is something straight out of Taiwan. Delicious recipe for their Green Tea Creamy Latte and Roasted Oolomg Creamy Latte 5/5 for authentic and delicious tasting food, we will be back to try more!

Awesome Taiwanese food. Had the Beef Noodle Soup and the Special Spicy Dry Noodles. Broth in the soup was great, noodles had good heat and lots of veggies and meat. Excellent value for the portions. Would make a good post-drinks or apres-ski!

Friendly family-owned restaurant. Wide variety of food! I ordered the bento box and it had a bit of everything. For the price, the portion was really big! Bubble tea was superb too. Will be coming back here whenever Im in Kelowna.

Good Resturant. Many good choices, but satay fried noodle is too salty. Others are fine. Overall a bit pricy, but you get good service.

I love this place. Food are tasty and Taiwanese authentic. One of the awesome things I ordered was the chicken cutlet and the portion size was most definitely impressive. HIGHLY recommended.

Have to say my wife and I were pleasantly surprised. We had chicken fried rice and the spicy dry noodle dishes along with a spring roll appetizer. The fried rice was done perfectly, not sticky and without frozen vegetables added, great umami flavor! The spicy noodle was incredibly flavorful without being too hot and nice sesame oil added. Couple that with excellent bubble tea and we are going back!

My bf and I are on a road trip from Vancouver and I was telling him how I missed having good Taiwanese food. We stopped here at O-Machi and the food really reminds me of Taiwan. Super authentic and the staff are kind and welcoming. We had the deep fried fish cake, Pork chop bento and fried chicken leg bento. The entire meal including the sides are absolutely delicious. We are hard to impress with food and I got to say this place exceeded expectations. We will be back!

My waitress Christy was such a delight. Helpful and educational on the cuisine. Not to mention so personable is sharing interesting tidbits of the culture. The popcorn chicken was the best of any I have ever had. The satay sea food fried noodles were an explosion of flavor in my mouth. I wanted to try the icy grass jelly for dessert. Yet the portions were so generous, I still ended up taking 1/2 home. I will be recommending to all. As well will be a repeat customer too! Thank you O-Machi for such an experience :)

The take out boxes are so cute! The boxes look shallow, but the portion sizes are good (boxes are packed!). Our party of 3 couldnt finish 3 entrees and an appetizer. Ordered the Chicken Popcorn, Spicy Dry Noodle, Lamb Fried Noodles, and Taiwanese Sausage Fried Rice. The plum flavour for the chicken popcorn was good. The spicy noodles definitely lived up to their name with a kick! We liked that the noodle and rice dishes had an abundance of vegetables, and they werent just thin slivers at some establishments. Felt safe with the tall plastic/plexiglass barriers between tables dining in.

The food in this little shop is super delicious. This is pretty much the best snack bar Ive ever had. I randomly ordered a bento set. After opening it, the decoration inside was very exquisite. There are egg main dishes and side dishes, and the portions are large. After taking the first bite, I was hooked. The waiters and waitresses are also very warm and considerate. I took the chopsticks and helped with the spoon. The lunch box is also decorated with great care, with a rubber band tied like a gift box. Highly recommend, go book a dinner, you wont regret it.

Food is very good and the vegan dishes are excellent

This restaurant is such a gem, right in the middle of Glenmore. The service is excellent and the food is so fresh. My 10 year old had the beef fried noodles and it was healing with fresh vegetables, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the sauce was so tasty. I had the dry spicey noodles, which have such a great flavour I want to eat them every day. The milk tea is perfect. This is a once-a-week type of restaurant.

So grateful to find a Taiwanese place in Kelowna that is as flavourful and filling as the one from home in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada (Bubble Republic) Will definitely come again!

A hidden gem in Glenmore! I love coming here with my family. Food tastes authentic. Very tasty bubble tea as well. Servers are friendly and attentive. And very kid friendly as well. They always provide my littles with plastic plates, cups, and bowls. Will come back soon!

Excellent customer service and food

This place has changed. It is no longer a sushi restaurant. This place is now Taiwanese inspired cuisine with many great vegan options. Try the deep fried salt and pepper mushrooms! Also a great place to hang out and have a unique lemonade or butterfly tea. They are open for lunch and dinner.

The waiter is super friendly, the food is delicious and the price is affordable, the beef noodles are really delicious! The bento is also very cheap and can be very filling for one person. The milk tea is also delicious! I highly recommend the flower balls and tofu, they are very crispy and delicious.

Finally, there is a place that offers terrific Taiwanese comfort food here in the Okanagan that is reasonably priced, friendly and provides quality service. We highly recommend O-Machi for lunch, dinner or a group get-together. We will be visiting O-Machi often!

One of the best Taiwanese food I had outside of Taiwan. The pop corn chicken is to die for. The fried chicken leg comes in a close second. The meats were so juicy. You can taste how this was all freshly made on location even the pickle vegetables (so refreshing). I will always come here when Im in town. Highly recommended.

For a small business, O-Machi has one of the best websites I ve used for placing orders online. Menu provides nice a variety of bento, fried rice and fried noodle dishes without overwhelming you with choices. Food was ready for pickup on time, and I would recommend trying the chicken fried noodles.

Chicken Steak, did NOT expect it to taste so good. Food works great for me, definitely non vegan, and my wife, who is vegan! Almost everything that weve tried has been delicious! If it not delicious, then it only tastes good. Not had anything that was bad so far!

It was ok. Not the best, not the worst. One bad thing is that they dont give alot of meat. There was 3 shrimps in my seafood noodles. Wouldnt go again though.

This is my new favourite local restaurant to go to! The Omachi popcorn chicken is amazing and so flavourful and the Fried Noodle dishes are never overcooked. I tried the new Oolong Milk Tea which is so refreshing. The staff have always been friendly and the food hot.
