I had the chickpea fries, the nachos & queso, and the pumpkin ramen - every dish was honestly outstanding, and greatly exceeded my expectations. Somehow the chickpea fries taste like KFC?! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I wish I could eat every meal here Update 2 years later: we came here two days in a row. I had the summer mushroom pasta and the chorizo & potatoes. Both were super delicious and I polished both plates. Others had the mushroom burger, avocado bowl, and cauliflower steak. We also ordered a kids marinara pasta both nights, and the kids loved it! The food was rich but veggie loaded and so moreish Kid-friendliness: Lots of high chairs available and a great kids menu

This is my favourite restaurant in Kelowna, and I am not even vegan or vegetarian. Whenever I have guests visiting from out of town, I take them here. The food never misses and the atmosphere is really nice. The staff are always kind and very knowledgable. I love coming for the lunch special so I can try two items plus one of the signature lemonades. I love Frankies!

One of our favourite meals we have ever had. Great tasting amazing food. My husand is vegan I am not. I did not miss meat in any of the dishes. We are both veggie lovers and the food was just fantastic. The soup was miso cabbage and we fought over who got to finish it. I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. We liked sitting next to the kitchen and watching all of the dishes come out:)

Our amazing waiter was Angus, my first time at Frankie s ..but it certainly won t be my last, I enjoyed every flavourful bite of my delicious cheesburger and mushroom pasta salad. Honestly, it was the best vegetarian food I have ever eaten.

Id eat here every week if I lived in this city :). Great meat free dishes. The menu has changed since I was last here! My group had the Frankies Cheeseburger, Bali Peanut Satay, Baja Root Tacos, and the Summer Mafaldine Pasta. The satay was good but the sauce was a bit mild. All the other dishes were exceptional. Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is flat and wheelchair accessible.

Chick pea fries were good but only 10pcs served for $15 $1.50 per piece!! Cheeseburger was delicious with great flavour of the mushroom however it was tiny. The chorizo ranchero bowl was also good, however we didn t find anything unique or outstanding about it. Again, portions were small. While the food is decent, we will not be coming back & likely can t recommend this place considering the price and portion sizes!

We had just arrived from Ontario. Google healthy restaurants and found Frankie s. It is absolutely the best vegetarian restaurant we have ever eaten at. The flavours in the food, the nutritious value was over the top and every bite was delicious. Staff is very friendly, efficient and by the number of people who were in the restaurant thus is a very well deserved popular place to eat.

Great food! I had the Benny Bowl with an egg. Vegan option would be the same but with avocado. I also had the Liquid Sunshine Juice which I very much loved. Everything is fairly pricey, which is understandable, but does mean this will be more of a treat rather than a regular occurrence. Recommend checking it out. Firstly, issue of pricing, which I found to be exorbitant given the quality and portion sizes of the dishes. Despite the high prices, the portions were disappointingly small, and the taste did not meet the standard one would expect. $46 for this! And NO refunds. Don t waste time and money.

I was there with six friends, and when we received the bill, they didn t tell us that the tip was already included. Some of my friends tipped over the tip. The food is great, but they should be more careful about that. Disappointed

Coming here every time I am in Kelowna. Great price and quality. The portions were huge! Was not able to fit in a dessert any more, even I laid eyes on the Tiramisu. See you next time

Stumbled upon this place for a short stop in kelowna. Didnt realize it was vegetarian which usually isnt my primary culinary destination. Wow all I can say is the food here is exceptional and the service was just as amazing. Kelsey and Jake were super nice would definitely recommend anytime Im back in Kelowna I will be coming here. Oh and the drinks were pretty tasty too LOL

Regardless of whether youre plant based or not, you will definitely be able to find something for youll love. They have some of the best, most flavorful, dishes and its always a treat when we go to Frankies. Highly recommend giving their sesame fries a try

After our party of 6 paid over $400 for our meal, we were kicked out for staying an extra 10 min conversing after paying out bill.

We absolutely love this restaurant. Can t go wrong with the chorizo bowl, broccoli, Caesar salad, or any of their daily soups! Oh and sesame fries.

Location is not great. Perched amongst a couple chain restaurants in the corner of a seedy busy parking lot. Woman in front is rude and hostile. Apparently she makes fun of customers during lectures. Customer service 0/10. You really feel if you say something you ll be mocked by said blonde woman. Bully vibes and childish. Not inclusive at all. Not worth it. Too bad because food was decent :/

I can not say enough wonderful things about our dining experience. My boyfriend and I are quite new to plant based eating and this restaurant blew our minds. Everything from the drinks right through until dessert was incredible. (We even bought 6 burger patties to take home with us because they were so amazing). We can t wait to come back and try more menu items! Our servers were very attentive, we never had an empty glass or dirty dish on our table for more than a moment and everyone was so friendly. We are SO happy with this restaurant:)

We were visiting Kelowna on business and decided to stop here for lunch. Oh my! Was it the best decision ever? The place was busy, so we took seating by the bar, but that only added to the experience. The staff was absolutely amazing!!! That added so much to the experience, that a year later, me and my friend still talk about this lunch we had here. Sadly, I dont recall our servers name and sadly I havent been back in Kelowna for a year. But whenever Ill be in town, you have me as a loyal customer for life. Thank you for amazing vegan options and thank you for training/hiring such an amazing staff. Very seldom you get an experience like that these days. I would give you 10 stars if I could. Such great food! I went for dinner with family who isn t vegetarian like me and even they absolutely loved it! The actual place itself is average at best and a little too noisy, but the food makes up for it. Staff was very friendly, menu small but reasonably priced. We ll be back!

This was our first time ordering from here. We ordered the Bulgogi mushrooms and the Grilled Avocado Bowl. We ordered take out and I went into the restaurant to pick up. I was greeted by a lovely individual with exceptional customer service skills. The restaurant was clean and aesthetically pleasing. The food was amazing! The Bulgogi mushrooms were delicious, will definitely order that again. The avocado bowl was nice, and light. We will definitely be returning and next time will go for the dine in experience.

The holiday benney bow was great. Beautifully balanced and seasoned. I really like the benny and crumble part of in it. The coffee with Bailey was also interesting to taste. Will come again.

The best plant based food in the Okanagan hands down! I always gravitate towards the lunch specials so I can try different things. I d definitely recommend making a reservation for dinner and on weekends as it can book up. Pictured is the carrot lox sandwich and feature soup (mushroom soup with dill). Have been coming to Frankie s since Chef Brian opening a few years back. As an out of towner who travels to the Okanagan frequently for work, it s always tough finding food that is healthy and nutritious. Without fail, I always come to Frankie s for multiple meals when I m in town. You can t go wrong with anything on the menu - broccoli Caesar, mushroom pate and cauli wings are my go to. Their new menu includes a well balanced pad Thai - if you ever go in the winter; their laksa is unreal! Highly recommend Frankies to anyone coming to Kelowna.

I need to stop being so lazy and cross that dang man bridge more. FWSY is literally a five minute walk away for me and everytime I go there I get sad about how much time I miss with that space. The atmosphere is crisp, bright & welcoming with a great ambience shift into evening. Manager Sarah was an ABSOLUTE delight, such a warm presence as soon as you walk in. Mike & Ava also made the experience outstanding. Felt like I was dinning with friends ( who desire to formally host in the best of ways ). Every dish is a banger, my very picky comfort food loving hubby went head first into each plate put infront of him. Would recommend even to my worst enemy (as long as they were still polite to the staff) . 10s across the board, Sarah & team - we salute you!

Amazing vegan food and great service! Very inventive in their interpretations of some classic dishes along with some very original dishes. They left us thinking about how they could have been created vegan! We went with 4 adults and 2 kids under 6 and the service was very kind and welcoming to our kids and everyone. Although having a kids menu and things for them, I wouldnt exactly call it kid friendly. The atmosphere of the place feels like a cafe, with plywood benches, and a boho chic aesthetic, but felt oddly juxtaposed with $20-$30 plates. Overall, it was a great dinner and amazing food and service. Id definitely recommend the experience.

FWSY is on another level in every way possible, the best food in Kelowna hands down Kid-friendliness: Costs less to take my kids here for real food than it would to take them to a chain restaurant or fast food, and it s the only place they finish everything they order

Love the vibe and idea of this place. Food and service took a while but was great when it arrived until I found a huge fly mixed into the salad :( Was offered a cookie but can t eat chocolate so declined. I ll probably give it another shot in the future because it was great before the fly was uncovered but quickly lost my appetite after that. Meal was $40 after tax and tip so not the cheapest but would have been worth it if not for the bugs.

I had the lentil soup with a slice of sourdough and the vegan chipotle bowl and it was Alla amazing! Definitely will be back to try more of the tempting meals. A delightful place to eat, even if you are not vegetarian. Some of my vegetarian friends introduced me to Franks We Salute You, and I have been back several times, and I am not a vegetarian. The food and atmosphere are both top notch. Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and there are plenty of gluten free options, as well as dairy free as well. Parking: Plenty of free parking even in peak dining hours.

SO GOOD!! Stopped in on the way through town and was amazed. I had the burger with awesome sauce and it really was awesome sauce!!! We also had the chickpea fries which defies logic how it was so good. The service was great. We ended up needing to leave minutes after eating which our server accommodated without issues. A lovely spot serving a classic veg menu with creative twists. Delicious food and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend the mushroom appi. The tacos were tasty and the portion was a good sized, but they were a little challenging to eat because they were so full. May have been better with three tortillas. Overall, highly recommend.

I ordered the grilled avocado bowl for take out. The food was tasty and the service was great. But was it worth nearly $30 after tax and tip? I m afraid not. I would not have minded so much had the portion size not been so small! The dish was a brown rice base. I don t think a little more brown rice and sesame sauce would eat too much into your margins! But it would go a long way into making me feel as though I got full, satisfying meal. Anyway from the rave reviews I can see my opinion is in the minority. No, this aint your plain vanilla vegetarian joint. This is a real destination for foodies, carnivores and vegetarians alike. The rumors are true about the cheeseburger. Mine tasted like charbroiled meat, with the same texture and flavor, and a hint of mushroom. The skinny sesame fries were so flavorful and it matched perfectly with the house made catch-up. The service was great and the atmosphere intimate. Great date spot. Would definitely come again when Im in Kelowna.

We were there last week, made a reservation for 11:30 as we were working around my granddaughters nap. We were seated immediately and given water. We did not seem to have a waitress. Finally after 20 min one of the girls was walking by and did a turn back to us and took our order. Then at 12 noon we all of the sudden had a waitress. It took 45 min after we were seated before we received food. My mushroom burger and the queso appy were good but my husbands cauliflower tacos were undercooked and lacked flavour and my daughters Moroccan wrap was just a few chickpeas and mostly greens. Over not a good experience. However when we finally did get a waitress she was lovely.

Food was great but front of house was arrogant, condescending and privileged. From other negative reviews, you can see the responses from the restaurant - self righteous and zero efforts to improve the horrendous customer service. You NEED to eat here! The food here is fantastic! Recommend the chickpea fries, the mushroom burger, the apple waffle pancakes. One of our party had the farmers market tacos and said they were missing that fresh Lime sauce taste, but everything else was amazing. A couple at the table had an issue with their food and the managers were quick to correct the issue. I was expecting this place to be a more fast food style place, but was surprised by the nice bright atmosphere in a sit down restaurant. Absolutely will eat here again. Vegetarian options: This is a vegan restaurant. But absolutely anyone should eat here.

What a find!...plant based food (cruelty free), creative menu, reasonably priced, plate licking good! A bit crowded and noisy, benches are hard (pillows helped) for my aging derriere. Nice uptempo atmosphere tho. Vegetarian options: Nice variety. Wow, could the lunch hour special be extended to about 4:30?

Is this normal??? I phoned FWSY to make a dinner reservation on a Tuesday. I was asked for my credit card number. When I said not until I pay for our dinner he said we take your credit card number in case you dont show up, we charge a no-show fee. No way! FWSY this is unacceptable, so I wont be bringing my business to your restaurant.

Always a great experience at Frankies. The food is always fresh with seasonally inspired options. The lunch specials are a go to. Soups are also a staple as well as the house made lemonades. Service is authentic, just generally a beautiful place to enjoy some plant based magic. Highly recommend booking ahead for lunch and dinner.

I come every time I have something to celebrate. Yesterday it was for my birthday and it was fabulous. Its not just a vegan restaurant where they reproduce omni meals, there is a real research and passion for food that you can taste with every bite. The service is always perfect, full of attention. They change their menu on a regular basis which is nice. We can reserve on line, very useful for me not being from BC, so we I flight to Kelowna, I always make sure to book in advance a table to this fantastic restaurant. I am not vegan but you dont need to, to love this place.

After moving to Kelowna from Vancouver, I found it hard to go out to eat at local restaurants as there isn t a very big veg/vegan scene here. I m THRILLED that we discovered FWSY because it can truly compete with some of my favourite Vancouver restaurants!. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, and every single staff member we interacted with was lovely. We tried a few of their hand crafted beverages and they were all delicious (I personally recommend the raspberry lemonade!). We tried the bao buns for an appetizer and we each had a different main and there wasn t one dish that wasn t absolutely divine. Our friend who was visiting from Vancouver (who is a meat eater) was with us and he was also blown away by the food and the overall experience. This is a great addition to Kelowna and we can t wait to come back and try some more delicious items on the menu.

Serious tasty food here. The veggie burger was full of flavour on a soft delicious bun. Side Caesar with broccoli and crispy chickpeas will be on repeat at home if I can figure out the dressing. Very nice people greet, seat and serve you. I want to go back and eat my way through the menu. Lemonades are great and the selection of very local wine, beer and cider noteworthy. Im not vegan and the food was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised that plant based food could be so tasty. We had the cheeseburger, ramen, chorizo and bolognese with chickpea fries and chips with queso appetizers. Recommend all of it!! The service and staff were lovely and friendly.

Been coming since they opened. Over 30x plus brought clients and team members. Ordered a new dish. Was a clump of sticky rice, tiny caggabe. Then when I said it was bad. They came back and Shamed the customer by saying we have a 11.000 salad we could give you. That

The waiters were very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing I ordered the chickpea fries for Appetizer and they were to so crunchy and yummy I could eat 10of them. For lunch I had the Carrot sandwich with side salad an strawberry mint lemonade and Oh My God I could eat this sandwich every day and still love it. So healthy, fresh and light and yet it was so filling. My experience was so good that I m actually going there tomorrow again for brunch. I really recommend trying this restaurant you will be impressed

Excellent food ..everything we order was yummy and the Chocolate Truffels Went back in Nov22 and the food was even better. We had the Avocado bowl and the roasted veg bowl. Best meal EVER

Our favorite restaurant in Kelowna. The staff has never given us anything other than exceptional service. Their menu is ever-changing, home-made, and exceptional. This restaurant is hands down, the best restaurant Ive ever visited. The food is phenomenal. The menu is super original and creative, with items changing seasonally and specials that are always a wonderful surprise. The quality of the food, consistency of the serving size and presentation, and absolutely mouthwatering ingenuity never go unnoticed. The appetizers are exciting, the mains are satiating and the desserts are irresistible. Frankies never leaves you unsatisfied. The prices arent cheap but they are totally reasonable and justified. The drinks are also unreal, with new cocktail menus and specials often to keep you always trying something new and delicious. I literally cannot praise this restaurant enough, it is perfection. The atmosphere and decor make you feel as if youre in a friends dining room, but a friend who really likes luxuries and cleanliness without feeling posh and entitled. The service is always amazing. The servers make you feel super welcome and at ease, with food and drinks coming out very efficiently considering how busy the restaurant is all the time. As someone whos worked in food service for many years, including managing kitchens, Frankies is impressive in every aspect of their operations. They are professional, welcoming, incredibly addictive and genuinely happy to give you a great experience. Keep doing everything youre doing, this is an exceptional restaurant.
