Yesterday(Thursday), we had the pleasure of attending our Annual Elevated wine tasting event at Quails Gate charming vineyard & tasting room.The setting was picturesque, with rows of grapevines stretching out under the golden autumn sun, and the view of Okanagan Lake glistening was stellar! Our sommelier Katrin was such a gracious host - welcomed us with open arms and a lovely glass of QG Clone 220 Chenin Blanc- what a tasty way to start our event! The tasting was well-organized, with Katrin guiding us through each wine. Old Vine s Restaurant plated some absolutely delicious local cheeses and accoutrements that paired beautifully with the wines! Katrin shared insights into the vineyards history, winemaking processes, and pairing suggestions, enhancing the experience. Our guests who joined us for this event were delighted with the entire afternoon - Katrin s extensive knowledge and passion for the wine industry, especially the Okanagan wine industry was an absolute delight and we can t wait to return! Thank you Katrin for such a spectacular afternoon - another beautiful memory you created!

My all time favourite winery in the Okanagan. The most amazing views, friendly staff, consistently delicious meals and can t forget the amazing wine selection. The staff is very knowledgeable and will always recommend a wine to pair with each menu item. Food and drinks: I love that each time I go there is a new menu! I just wanted to say that our waiter, Curtis, and the rest of the staff at Quails Gate were outstanding! The service was excellent, the food exceptional and delicious, and the presentation superb. My family and I will definitely be back soon!

Where do I start! Everyone raves about this winery, so it was top on our list when I organised a wine tour for our family reunion. However, soon as we walked through the door, we were met with a very frosty reception. With wine enthusiasts in tow, having a tasting here was sub-par for even the novice. It was immediately apparent we had been cast aside because we were part of a tour bus . The second wine was poured with not even an inch of a smile and the very surly woman serving us just walked away - didn t even bother saying what the wine was let a alone talk about the location, region s history, vines, the building, tasting notes whatever. Nothing. We asked if we could continue the wine tasting on the balcony with gorgeous views and sunshine (it was a quiet Friday with few other patrons around) but being met with looks of inconvenience, our tour guide then requested it for us and, begrudgingly, the staff obliged. All in all, it was a very strange, unfriendly, and un-Canadian experience we have ever had at a premier winery. And with most of us coming all the way from Australia and New Zealand, it felt extremely disappointing. If only we had a more professional and friendly team sharing their beautiful place with us .

We had such a wonderful experience, the wine was delicious, the view was striking but possibly most impressive was the sommelier Aaron. He had a vast knowledge of wine, wine making and wine pairing. The lady at the wine tasting checkin was super rude and disrespectful .Overlooked she was already talking to us , left when we wanted to make a purchase and started chatting with another person when she came back.Not at all welcoming rather demeaning .The property is good and so is the wine but we have been to better winery experiences which are equally beautiful but a-lot more pleasant and welcoming.

Real happy hours

The vineyard is impressive for sure, wanted to grab dinner but there was a bit of a wait which was fine. Sat on the patio and bought bottle of wine to drink on their patio area while we waited. When it was time to go into the actual restaurant we were told we couldn t drink the bottle we already bought from them and opened on the patio. Basically a money grab to make you buy another bottle once inside. Overall service was great otherwise. Pizza outside was top tier.

Today 6 locals came to visit for a quick glass as wine club members. It was 4 o clock. There were four tables on the patio and two people inside. They were unable to seat us due to the upcoming dinner service that starts at 5 and they needed the large tables. They would not let our table be a table of two and four separately. The next excuse was they didn t have staff. At this time it would ve been appropriate to send the manager to discuss. Shame on you for the poor hospitality.

We went to Quail s Gate for a wine tasting on our first anniversary. Mini was a great server for our tasting, she was informative and fun! We really enjoyed our experience there!
