Went in for late lunch and they are “take out only”, just like the other Chinese restaurant nearby. Is there a time they actually open? Strike two for Chinese while in this town.

We got takeout and we're pretty grossed out. The chicken fried rice was pretty bland and the chicken looked pretty purple. The beef and greens tasted smoky and not much else. We also got the lemon chicken which tasted and appeared to have been frozen. Fried wontons were chewy and suspicious, with something small and pink in each one. I'm confused, as we were told this was going to be good. We unfortunately wasted much of our meal, it was unappetizing.
The food was ok; nothing special. Really large portions which was very nice. Definitely not the worst Chinese food in Kenora, but definitely not the best either in my opinion. People who love Ho Ho really love it, but I wasn't particularly overwhelmed by the food and service.
food wasn't the greatest as it has been previously. portions on the smaller side..but price still up. no buffet. huge restaurant .no dine in. limited hours for take out only. I assume staffing would be difficult , but the lady who served us was very friendly and deserving of a five star.
HO HO has been our favourite Chinese buffet for years when we visited Kenora every weekend in the summer. We’ve tried returning a few times Katey but unfortunately there was no buffet as previous when the Mother was still living. We were told on may 14/22 that they have no plans of returning to the buffet. 😩 it has become take out only. So sad. We will not be returning.
Very bland, watery, and flat out not good. It was wasted money. Upside, the staff was friendly. I would never consider ordering from here again.

Always order the Bobbys Special! HoHo fried rice! Add any extras then you desire. Always satisfied... dine in has not yet returned yet! Sad to say.

OMG! Great Customer Service! Excellent Food! ( Chopped onions, Chowder, Chow Mien, Chicken Balls, Bock Choi, and Wontons!), also with Dry Noodles, Fwied Rice, and Sauces!, Very Tasty Delicious, will stop thare again when out that way!!!

Very disappointed. I was driving through town and stopped here for food. 1. One of the dishes I ordered had the fried noodles on top which I specifically told her I wanted none of 2. I ordered chicken teriyaki and the serving was 95% onions and peppers and 5% chicken 3. I ordered chow Mein, instead we got a container full of steamed cabbage. Chow mein is not a cabbage dish it is noodles. On top of all that, the food was terrible and very poorly seasoned. False advertising on the menu and even more disappointing food and flavour

Expensive and volume are extremely small. Taste even bad than my dog s food!! Cause even my dog doesn t want this for lunch!When I step into their restaurant, their chef facing to the dishes and coughing! How this restaurant can survive?! Never ever come to this restaurant pls! Both of my wife and myself have loose bowels after eat their food. I will give it a negative star if I could!! Such a joke.

Loved Ho-Ho since my family discovered it sometime after moving to Kenora in 1979. Ive since moved away, and all these years later, its still great!

Meals are great especially the Bobbys Special. The buffet lacks variety and there are not enough items to choose from.

Amazing food! Service is great, staff treat you like family. Food comes out quickly and hot. Food allergies are taken care of, as well as dietary restrictions are accommodated for. The HoHo is a must stop when you stay in Kenora.
Food was delicious but packaging was horrific made a mess all over my room. They should put more effort into presentation cause that is half the review.

So perfect when u go when its not busy. If u go when its busy then they run outta food like the wings. I also love to order the buffet to go. You get a little bit of everything...or I should say ALOT of everything!!

Ho hos is pretty good ! We have eaten there a number of times. Food is always served hot and fresh. The servers are great. Although the outside of the restaurant we noticed a meth pipe or crack pipe, the city of kenora or the owners need to help on cleaning that up. Very sad to see. Take out is good also. One thing i suggest the pop drinks should be bottomless as they charge per refill.

VERY POOR Food, service and cleanliness. Lemon chicken was disgusting. Buffet was empty and took forever for them to come out with fresh food in only about 2 cups portions to feed our family of 6. When they slowly brought out fresh buffet items it was done only 1 item at a time and they not refill all the items, just rice and veggies and chicken balls. That left at least 6 empty trays.

The food is typical Chineese.The atmosphere is average along with the service.Yesterday was a little different where the service was terribly slow due to being a very bisy friday evening.I had a new young male server that was doing his best to remedy the hour long wait...this young man was trying his best.When we got our soup.I would have to say it was better than normal.Due to being a one man show in Kenora and most staff knowing me I will continue to go to this restaurant with my family....always a pleasant time. Last time we went there the soup had strong tasting pork and very few wontons.The dried breaded shrimp jad pieces that were just dry breaded nothings...they admitted that they ran out of food but the three items still cost me close to 50.00 dollars.
One of my favorite restaurants in town. Very tasty Asian fare with staff that make you feel like family. They have a buffet at lunch but take a look at the menu as well.

Phoned and asked for prices...was told 14.95 for supper buffet and less for age 12 and under..Not too busy but no fried rice or noodles for buffet..Waited for 6 mins at buffet for burnt tasting fried rice and vegetables..go to pay and its 15.95 per adult and its 9 and under for kids...its too bad..heard good things about it..aw well....live and learn
