Walked in, did not get a hello or any acknowledgment from the staff, she was working on an online order and didn’t look up once to say hi or that she will be a minute. Tried to be nice and wait but she was moving so slow and didn’t speak to us until we spoke up first. Ended up leaving disappointed.
I went to this exact location about 6 years ago and had an old man make me and my buddy the best burritos of our lives, and was looking forward to going again one day (went to the one in winnipeg and it was okay but not the same). So this weekend on the drive through Kenora on Saturday afternoon we tried it out. This time I went for three tacos and my friend waited to see how they were built before deciding what he was having as he was to be driving and eating (good thing he did). The older east Indian woman that was serving us had this careless attitude and super poor customer service skills, slapped the tacos together in such a rush that it was super uneven and more like a taco salad with three soft shells in it. She didn't listen to what we were saying at all and just kept rushing through it and putting up some very shitty customer service. As far as my friends burrito goes, she burnt it and still served it to us, we mentioned that it was burnt and she shrugged and still wrapped it up. Also we both agreed that the pork and the beef tasted like they had an east Indian flavor (curry) to them and not totally mexican as it should be. There was zero need to rush, it was like 3 pm ish and we were the only ones there. The service was terrible, the food was alright but tasted wrong for what I was going for. Tell this woman to straighten up her customer service skills please!
Please give training your new staff first before handling customer on front .so disappointed today
I recently visited this location and had a very disappointing experience with the customer service. When I asked for extra sauces, the employee was very unhelpful and seemed annoyed by my request. To make matters worse, they charged me extra for the sauces, which seems ridiculous. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be coming back. Poor customer service like this is unacceptable.
Poor customer service. The lady making our burrito was very rude. We got two burritos and she kept on asking if we really want sour cream only because she wasn’t able to squeeze it out of the bottle. When we asked her to put some extra sauces, she moved her head in disappointment, even when we agreed to pay extra $3 for regular sauces. The last time we ate, we were satisfied, which is why we came back but this was the last time we ate here. Replying to the owner's comment:- Now I see why people working at your store do not care about customers It's was not about paying extra, we had already agreed to it, but she did not have to shake her head in disappointment, it's our choice that we like extra sauces in our burrito. We did say that if it was not possible to add extra sauces, it was okay , but she did anyways and was being wierd about it. And we did not get any 5 lines of sauces mam/sir, your sauce bottles were not even working properly to be able to have 5 lines of sauces. Please take reviews as an opportunity to correct and not get offended.
This was the best burrito that I’ve had in such a long time!! The guac was exceptionally yummy too! I appreciate so many vegan options here and quick, polite service! The restaurant was very clean. The only thing is I wish I would’ve ordered more chips and guacamole! Will be returning!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS (-5 stars) Detailed review below. Address wrong online, service was slow even though we were the only people in the restaurant. TINY portion sizes for the price. Extra dollar for guacamole, but only got a tiny smear on a large Burrito. No wonder Mucho Burrito and the rest of the competition are dominating. My wife ate her cold Veggie Burrito, because she doesn't mind cold food. Update -- Requested a refund because the meat was cold. I requested a refund for the chips and guacamole as well, and the owner (Lindsay) said there was nothing wrong with it. I explained I was ain't dissapointed with my experience, to which she said she was sorry but it wasn't her problem. I asked for her name and employee number and said I would email head office. She said go ahead because emails go straight to her and she wouldn't do anything about it. I asked if she spelled it "Lindsey" or "Lindsay" and she said it didn't matter. As the owner of a Franchise, this was the worst service I ever received. I would suggest she try her luck at a business not requiring interaction with the public. She was rude, condescending, all in all a terrible experience. And if you read my other reviews, you will see that I am very easy to please. Oh and after all that, she refused to refund me for the chips & guacamole and the drink. Which I told her I didn't want because my experience had been ruined by the cold food. She once again said, that wasn't her problem. RESPONSE TO OWNER'S REPLY BELOW Lindsey --thank you for finally sharing the spelling of your name-- your response is simply too little too late. I understand I'm a "big guy" and my appearance can be a little intimidating. I will assume you felt "unsafe" because of your prejudices and not because of the way I look? Otherwise you're just digging yourself deeper. I clearly and politely explained I was disappointed with my experience and the food and because the burrito was terrible, I had no desire to eat the chips and guacamole. I never swore or raised my voice, because again, I am aware that my muscular appearance can be a bit intimidating. You were rude. Plain and simple. You are sorry now, because I made it your problem, even though you stated twice that my poor experience was not your problem. I'm a fair person. I didn't ask for a refund for my wife's burrito. You could have avoided all of this by simply refunding the food I did not eat. May I suggest some more training on customer interactions? Hopefully QUESADA can provide that for you. I took the liberty of correctiong your address, as it leads people to Main Street North, not South. You're welcome.
My first visit...probably my last! Had 1 spicy chicken hard shell taco. Was not flavorful at all. Taco from a box wouldve been better. Had a little bit of spice. I had the mild salsa since I thot it would be spicy but i couldve got spicier sauce. Mainly tasted the rice. The churro was yummy! So much sugar. Will not be consuming anymore sugar today. I got a large chips and guacamole to go so I hope that's better than my taco.

Great place to go, I come here all the time since Im a regular customer. But the last time I came here (June 3, 2023), customer service was lacking on one particular worker who would not serve me because I asked for extra ground beef. I thought customer service was a priority. Customer service is 3 out of 5, needs work. Ill come back again when that particular worker is not on.
I love this franchise its by far the best ever always good taste and great service I travel for a living Ive been to so many of these restaurants and never had a complaint great job to the staff for upholding a great reputation

I ordered a tofu burrito. instead i was given a chicken burrito. When I called to ask for a remake they were non-chalant. Did not give any remorse. Would not find a solution. Refused to make the correct burrito and when I asked if i could speak with the manager I was told he was busy then hung up on me. Do not recommend. Horrible customer service. Vegetarian options: if you order a vegetarian option they will give you meat and they wont offer to make the correct order for you.
The hot chicken is spicy.
Relative mid level product and service. Most of.the tables were dirty. Food was alright, but priced a bit too high for what you get. Tipping function on the payment machine started at 18% (after tax) which is egregious considering there is no service being provided. We served ourselves for beverages and carried aour food to our table. For this reason, primarily, I will not return (on principle).

Thank you very much for the terrific service given on Friday. I walked into Quesada for the first time, didnt know the menu or what to order and my glasses were so fogged up initially that I couldnt read the overhead menu signs. I had come in right after a food delivery driver whose order still required completion, and so I waited still trying to figure out what I might order. After a minute or two, other people started to come in including some patrons who correctly approached the section of window clearly marked Order Here and engaged in greetings with the sole employee behind the counter. Oops. My bad. As more people filtered in, my thoughts turned to leaving and walking out, expecting that receiving the food would certainly a while since I wasnt even positioned in the now-forming line (I had walked in and stopped just ahead of where the driver waited so I could browse the menu, yet then determined itd be handier for me to peruse the menu using my phone). In no time at all however, the employee used great customer service to survey the situation, and suddenly I was getting the most polite assistance Ive had in a long time. And it certainly isnt hard to appreciate that with each ordered item requiring custom preparation, it can be very time consuming. Especially with the pandemic, on-line orders, and the various other challenges that businesses currently face. I love Mexican food and Ill be returning to sample more from your place for sure
Start to finish was a fantastic experience! Quesada staff was courteous, helpful and very friendly on the phone when we placed our order for catering a staff lunch. Our order was ready on time and handed over with a smile, even when the restaurant was very busy when we picked up. Our staff all raved about how delicious the food was and were impressed with the variety. We will definitely think of Quesada again for our next staff lunch.

The food is dam good for a place thats considered fast food. Fresh ingredients and made while I watched. The staff were really friendly and prices are reasonable (for Kenora) and decent size portions. Id go here again. Vegetarian options: Could be vegan if you had a salad. Not sure if they have vegan options for wraps or tacos. Dietary restrictions: You can customize any dish to add or remove ingredients. Parking: 10 spots for sure. 1 accessible spot in front of the door. Kid-friendliness: The kid in line in front of me was happy with his tacos! Wheelchair accessibility: 1 parking spot. Front door has opener. Tables with chairs that can be moved. Washrooms accessible.
Soft shell tacos were good but the meat could have been heated.
There are many things in the menu I enjoy and the portions are quite good. Its a go-to lunch spot for me.
In person is great! Ordering online is absolutely horrible! I ordered one order for 5 people that took 1 hour to make. Like 15 people came in and ordered while they were making mine. So whats the point of ordering online then. Next time Ill just make all 5 orders. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!

First and last time. Guy serving the food was nice and helpful but the food was tasteless and I could probably chew through my shoe faster than the stuff called meat in my burrito. Just threw it out before I threw it up. Not the stores fault, they are given what they are told to serve.

Chili lime fish taco salad was pretty fresh. I definitely recommend the habenero mayo or the cilantro mayo. Quick and good lunch meal when youre in a rush.

They burnt the rice(it was crunchy), if you cant make rice im not sure what else to say. Could use some work on the flavors and the order that the toppings go in the bowl.

The burrito I had was very filling, but over all it was very messy to eat. A good place for lunch or dinner. This place doesnt have ground beef to put in the burritos though.

Probably not even half the portion of any Chipotle, don t know where these high reviews are coming from. Ordered a large burrito bowl, and the lady barely put any ingredients past the lip of the bowl. The extra $1 for guac looked like a teaspoon at best. A 5 year old would have still been hungry after that joke of a bowl.

Very good food, loved the grilled chicken. The add-in ingredients were fresh. My husbands burrito was huge bab lived up to its name lol. I would put 4.5 star, half a star away just because I thought all burrito places have ground beef so both my husband and I were a bit surprised there was no ground beef here. The tortilla chips were a bit over cooked kind of had a burnt smell. The server was very friendly and nice. Would return here again if ever in Kenora.

First time at Quesada Burritos and Tacos tonight (Sunday). The restaurant was not just very clean but immaculate. Never been in a cleaner fast food restaurant before. Next...the young man behind the counter was excellent. He took time to describe everything noting which meats and sauces were spicy and which were better than others. We had regular sized burrito bowls and he packed them full of great food. I was a piggy and should have had more lettuce to break up my very dense but tasty burrito bowl. A very nice experience. And we drove down to the waterfront next door and parked to eat and watch the sun set.
when we ordered they did not have much stuff prepared and what was prepared was uncovered and had flies crawling on it . my wife and I walked out. we will never go back there again if we are in Kenora.

I stopped in on my way to Winnipeg! The service was fast and great. The food was really good.
We were super excited to try this place, but left wanting more. I ordered the flame grilled chicken burrito combo for just under $15.00 (guac is extra and there s an upcharge for the churro s). It was under seasoned and overpriced. The churro s left a lot to be desired. Cold and hard. I also noticed non-patrons using the back entrance for the washrooms. The owner may want to consider installing the barrier free door opener at the main entrance instead, and a panic bar at the back, so people can get out, but can t get in. It s also a safety issue for staff coming out of the kitchen.

As a new restaurant in Kenora I had to give this place a shot. This is a fast food Mexican restaurant. But think more like subway then mcdonolds. You pick what kind of meal your want and then add veggies sauces and other fixings. Try a burrito or a quesadilla or tocos anda couple other options. I was given a chance to sample anything, and every different kind of neat is delicious. They include spicy chicken, pork, steak, grilled chicken and even chili lime fish. Each has way more flavor then you will ever find in a taco bell. Because of the fact that it is build your own style you can make something that is very spicy and intense or fairly Mild depending on your preferences. They have a lot of choices and options. I have to say this is a new favorite hope more open in the area.
BAD! Went to Kenora location (2nd week open) and got something that I am sure I took off my auto.. some rubber thing. They called it a burrito. Like you open up, and you have two trainees on the line that can barely rub there $@%. One starts the burrito.. steaming it .. putting rice on it.. then it sits there.. and sits there on the counter for 8 to 10 minutes while the chicken is cooking. And apparently ONLY the person doing the cashiering could take the chicken out of the oven... so then ahh chicken! lettace and toms.. then the second dude can not fold it.. why is that? No Training! It was cold and yucky... by the time got it home. But the Dog liked it I think.

Pretty disappointed been there twice in 24 hours. First time waited for 13 minutes. Nobody served us, that was last night. Then when in today and was told no Spicy chicken. Pretty sad for a new restaurant...again was told no spicy chicken, thanks but certainly was no confusion

Ive eaten there twice now. The food was very good. I am a picky eater, so I like that you can pick your own fillings. The hot sauce is hot, and the spicy chicken is spicy. Mmmm

Have never been to a Quesada before. The selection of items to add to a burrito or quesadilla is extensive. Everything was fresh and the burrito was a a good size.
A tasty fresh quesadilla that just hit the spot with some green salsa and sour cream. Lots of veg/vegan options (can make anything bean/roasted veg). Had iced coffee and churros, both reasonable for cost and type of restaurant. Lives in the space between fast food and the uber-healthy-buddha-bowl-type places. Also $5 kids meals that incl juice and ice cream. Staff were very friendly too!
Had a Pork quesadilla. Hot and generous served with salsa and sour cream. I enjoyed it. Clean and bright, a fast food restaurant setting.
