The Table is New London’s award-winning culinary studio with a focus on experiential cuisine. The winner of the 2017 Taste Our Island Award, The Table is dedicated to using and promoting the local foods grown and harvested right here on Prince Edward Island. Cooking classes, hands-on experiences and evening restaurant dining at The Table have also resulted in international media recognition for bringing local history, food and culture together.

Update August 2024: After our fantastic experience last year, we just had to indulge in another dinner at The Table … fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic wines!!! The concept at The Table is so unique … all Canadian ingredients … and their preparation is over the top!! I can’t tell you which was my favourite course because all seven were incredible!!! 2023: What an incredible seven-course dinner and evening at The Table! Each course was prepared with perfection!! We particularly enjoyed hearing from Chef Hunter as to the process undertaken in preparation of each course. There is a totally new menu each week, and they never repeat a recipe!! The wine pairing was excellent and the wines totally complimented each course. Chefs Hunter, Derrick, Alex and Christine certainly delighted us. What a fantastic dinner, all prepared with Canadian ingredients! If you have the opportunity to go, do not hesitate!🩷
Unique experience in many ways -- would definitely recommend. Everything is sourced Canadian, and the menu items never repeat. Our dinner was quite heavy -- VERY butter & cream oriented. My partner and I don't eat a lot of dairy & dairy related products, so it was quite heavy for us as we got towards the end of the menu. We were full by dessert, but you can have things boxed up as the menu progresses.
You need to add this foodie experience to your visit to PEI - it’s absolutely nonnegotiable! Such an amazing experience in a beautiful, intimate setting. You can tell that everyone is passionate about what they do, especially Chef Hunter. Loved the ambiance and the whole team who made our night a memorable one. It was the highlight of our trip!
By far one of the most beautiful and tasty restaurants I've ever been to! The hosts were warm and inviting, the food was absolutely amazing I couldn't have asked for a better experience it's a must try if you're in PEI. This was the most unique food experiences that my wife and I have ever had. We are new to the island and enjoyed this moment with new friends from our neighbourhood. The friendly atmosphere and the personable staff and chef made the meal. The preparation and presentation was flawless. Well be recommending and returning with friends and family. An absolutely wonderful experience! This isn t going out for dinner this is a night out. We learned so much about our food and the thought and preparation that goes into creating every dish. It s a good thing we don t live closer!
This is our favourite restaurant on PEI. We try to go at least once a year. Hunters food is delicious, and his presentation of the courses is earnest and charming. Christine is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

To say it was a fantastic culinary experience is an understatement. Congrats to chef Hunter and his team. The old church provides a beautiful setting. The food is delicious, creative and the flavours came through in each ingredient of each course. Ingredients are locally sourced and cleverly substituted when not available. One of the top meals we have experienced in our international travels. This restaurant is not to be missed when visiting beautiful P.E.I. Cant wait to see what the future holds for chef Hunter.

Very unique Only pick the local material, and make the menu according to the material. The chef told the stories of every course. Not big, but warm Just like a family dinner.
The most amazing dinner experience Ive had, if you want a taste of PEI this is the spot, the chef personalizes the menu WEEKLY with hyper-local ingredients that are just a 15min drive from the studio, I would highly recommend

We have a fantastic experience at The Table Culinary Studio. If you consider yourself a foodie it is a definite must do. Wonderful food in a beautifully restored United Church. The staff creates an intimate atmosphere where you get to discover how the food is created and prepared.
We had dinner on July 2nd at The Table. It was by far the best and most memorable part of our weeks vacation on PEI. Chef Hunter is a magician with building many levels of flavor in his dishes. It was the most beautiful and delicious dinner weve ever had.....ever! Service was impeccable (thank you Christine!). In future rather than scheduling a dinner around a PEI beach vacation well be scheduling a trip to PEI based on a reservation at The Table.

Chef Hunters food was amazing. He crafts his menu based on the ingredients available to him. Hes made his mission to only use ingredients that are either local or native to Canada. For example he wont use lemons or vanilla but will challenge himself to find Canadian alternatives. The result is something so unique that I doubt youll eat anything like it anywhere.

Most incredible food and experience!! Attended a Ceilhid. 7 course meal beyond belief complete with live music! The executive chef came out from the open kitchen and explained each dish and any pairings chosen and why. Special experience!
My wife and I enjoyed an excellent meal at this wonderfully repurposed church. The service and food were spot on. The Chef is really creative and came to the table to present the meal. We plan on making more reservations in the future.

Went to The table for Dinner on my birthday. What a treat. The food was just fabulous, the service was attentive and the ambiance in the converted church was amazing. This probably my favourite eating establishment on PEI.
Charming setting in an old church. Very pleasant service. The food was good, but only a few dishes stood out as excellent. Definitely worth a visit.
Christine and Garrett and their staff served our group of 18 with a wonderful meal and impeccable service, while maintaining the Covid-19 safety protocol. Beautiful setting in the renovated former church building, on the well maintained grounds in New London. We will be back!
This is a fun night out with great food and a unique experience. Everyone sits at one large table and the food is served family-style. This setting encourages conversation with other guests and creates a quaint scene. The food is plentiful, fresh and local, and excellent. Weve been back several times.
The mushroom lobster toast was in the top 5 best things Ive ever eaten! The atmosphere and experience was amazing!

#1 in our favourite spot. Quality food, quality Setting in a former New London church. To a turn ,the tenderloin, the chicken and the Halibut all surpass all the other restaurants we have dined in. Best cusine at prices lower than Claddagh. Creative and artistic in many details. A must experience.
What an amazing experience. Derek and his staff were so delightful and trust me you will not leave hungry. The chef always came to the table to explain all dishes. Dont forget to shuck oysters with George!!! Thanks Chtristne and Derek for an awesome night!!!

My wife and I just loved the seafood cooking class we received from chef Michael! All morning we learned how to prepare and cook lobster, mussels, and scallops Plus we hand made our own pasta! At the end we had a spectacular lunch of the food we made. We recommend this to everyone... We had a group of only 4 which made for a very excellent learning environment plus the food was so good!
I went at the Hive To Table class and it was a great experience overall. Reception is friendly and relaxed. The place is very beautiful. The chef is good and explains really well. All products come from local farms around. The hives we visited are at a small private place not to far (you take the car to get there) where you can learn and see a lot about bees.
