What a Gem this spot is! Went in with the wife 1 hr before our movie started, the owner was able to get us our appetizers, full meals, and out the door we were right on time for our movie. Will stay longer next time great friendly atmosphere!

To say the food and service are absolutely incredible would be an understatement! We will definitely be back!

It has been awhile since I have had a chance to enjoy Keswick gem of a restaurant and never disappointed. If you are looking for an elevated dining experience, be sure to make a reservation at the Corner House Bistro. With everything from base sauces to their amazing desserts, everything is made in house in-house. Add to the mix, a generous menu of staples as well as weekly specials, and a great wine list, you will love every bite and accompanying sip. The next time you want to get out of the house be sure to consider the exceptional food, great service, and the friendly greetings by owners Chef Alan and Vee. Parking: A private lot with more than enough parking to cover their tables and guests.

Visited this place for the first time! Exceeded expectations The servers were so lovely & knowledgable, the food was amazing and all tasted so fresh! The owner s are very friendly and welcoming! Ambiance was great! Beautiful date night spot, I will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely incredible dining experience. The food was some of the best my husband and I have ever had. Starting with oysters and caeser salads. For the main course, my steak was perfectly cooked and served with crisp, fresh and flavourful veggies and potatoes. My husbands Jagerschnitzel was absolutely amazing as well. It was the first time he has ever told me Dear, you need to try these mashed potatoes! After our mains, our desserts continued the trend of phenomenal food. The peach crisp was warm, fresh and delicious and the creme brulee was perfection. The food was met with amazing service from Vee and Melanie. Highly recommend!

We recently hosted a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at The Corner House and boy, are we ever glad that we did. Working with Vee was a pleasure as we planned a dinner for 26 people. With 3 choices for each course punctuated with a specially printed menu for our event was truly special. The food was absolutely fantastically delicious. We also had someone who is Gluten Free and a Vegetarian and they were accommodated with no problem. The servers were almost seamless yet very attentive. We basically had a private area and the run of the entire restaurant. It was a super evening and will be remembered for a very long time thanks to the food, atmosphere and for us as the hosts, a very easy go of it. While you might not be planning such an event, if in the area go there, try the food and you will not be disappointed.

This was our first time dining here. The owner seated us and asked about where we are from and gave us some details about her and her husbands history. The best family owned restaurant in Keswick, every dish we ordered was a hit. I highly recommend the oysters and the stuffed Yorkshire.

We dinned here the day after Valentines Day. This gem of a restaurant is truly one of a kind and exactly what a fine dining experience should be. The simple fact that they specifically have a smaller dining room means that they are able to give everyone that comes exquisite service, everyone is greeted by the owner and the staff arent rushing everyone trying to serve too many guest, everyone is made to feel like their enjoyment of the evening is their top priority. Now the food, as a French woman who makes pastries from scratch myself who was raised eating the vegetables that came from my grandparents garden let me tell you.... the food is simply sublime from the first bite of balsamic reduction to the crème brûlée you can 100% taste the difference made from scratch makes. I cannot wait for the summer and fall and see what this amazing place can do with local in season vegetables!!!! We will be back for sure. Will also be recommending to absolutely everyone.

Absolutely loved my New Years Eve dinner at The Corner House in Keswick! The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection, the Lamb Shank was incredibly flavorful, and the Brownie dessert was a sweet ending to an amazing meal. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff provided excellent service. A fantastic spot for a memorable celebration! Highly recommend.

A really nice cozy intimate atmosphere with incredible service as well as amazing fresh made upon order food. Just delicious. The menu options change which makes it a great restaurant to keep coming back to. Great place for a special occasion. You ll want to make sure you make a reservation to ensure your spot! My wife and I ate at The Corner House Bistro for first time night. Im disappointed that we didnt find it till now. The service was intimate and discreet and the food was exceptional. They specialize in seafood, but their steak options were excellent. The restaurant is small with well spaced tables and a quiet atmosphere. My wife enjoyed both her nightly special dishes of mussels and Arctic Char, while I had the escargot starter and lamb for the main. All the dishes were creatively conceived and brilliantly executed. My lamb was moist and cooked to perfection with al dente veg and silky mashed potatoes. My wifes char was tender and flavourful. The proprietor Vee and her chef husband are masters of culinary arts and hospitality. The Corner House Bistro became our instant favorite last night. Everything impressed. Parking: A dozen spots well located on the north side.

Went to the corner house for dinner last night it was a wonderful evening. The meals were delicious (great selection / food options), the staff were very friendly and accommodating. For sure will be going back again! Highly recommend going to the corner house V (the owner) and her staff are amazing!

This place is mediocre at best. The decor is old and tired and the hostess is an overbearing karen who doesnt know when to leave you alone. Ill give credit the prime rib was decent but thats pretty much impossible to screw up! The filet mignon was like chew on an old tire. Theyre charging Toronto prices and giving Mcdonalds quality, save yourself $250 and just go to Mcdonalds. Big shout out to the servers there having to put up with that hostess. The servers were wonderful, have to give credit where its due!

Edited to update: The Corner House has become our go-to for all special occasions. Over the last six years since this first review, we have celebrated so many milestone events with Vee, Chef Alan and staff. The food has always been phenomenal and the service, without exception, above par. We are so lucky to have this gem in our backyard! First let me say the the newly renovated interior is absolutely stunning! The ambiance is perfect with attention given to every little detail. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, which allowed for an easy flow of conversation at the table. We started with the house Shiraz which did not disappoint. The calamari was fresh and lightly seasoned to perfection and the stuffed shrimp was delicious. Every dish from appetizer to dessert was honestly flawless. The prices are consistent with fine dining and most definitely in line with the quantity and quality of the food. To say Im happy to skip the 45 minute drive to Toronto for this level of dining experience is an understatement. Wonderful experience all around.

Recently went for a girls night. Well worth the drive. The staff were patient and amazing for our large group. We ordered off the menu with a vegan meal and it was heavenly. The atmosphere was cozy and I highly recommend it. FYI call ahead to get the lentil stuff peppers. So good !!!

Its not quite the best value for your dollar, as the prices can be rather steep. I quite enjoyed my pepper ravioli soup and seafood pasta. My date found his veal parmesan a bit bland and his pasta undercooked. The presentation is good, and the service is very good. The location is most convenient for me, as I live in uptown Keswick. It is a tiny restaurant, very intimate, and not noisy, nice for delicious fine dining. I will go again but my date may hesitate to accompany me when I do.

I was offered an 8pm reservation, but asked for 830 to be safe. Turns out we were ready early and got there at 8. They seated us early which was nice. But then wouldn t give us menus at first, a bit weird but OK. And by 830 we still couldn t order due to their system of preparing food in order of reservations.. too hungry by then so we left. Very pretentious, and this is in Keswick!

Had a wonderful Mothers Day out with my husband. First time here as we are new in town. Food was exceptional. Hats off to the chef. Service was top notch, and the new server looks like she will do very well here. Looks like we have found a gem in this town. Now we dont have to drive to Newmarket. Thank you to the whole team.

My daughter and her Boyfriend wanted to take my Husband and myself out to a lovely place for Mothers Day but not on Mothers Day. He chose this place. I am not a fan of Fancy Restaurants due to the fact that there is really nothing on the menus that I would enjoy but I was SO wrong about this FABULOUS place. We came Saturday night for dinner for a 7:45 pm reservation and once seated, we were told how they go about with the ordering and such. We are not rushed at all and that is what is most important as neither my Husband or myself like to be rushed. We were amazed by the Fabulous service from Shelby and how knowledgeable she was knowing what was on offer and such and she even suggested what she recommended for dinner and appetizers. We decided on the Prime Rib and had a really spectacular salad as a started. Name of the salad escapes me now but mostly it was cheese and prosciutto. The main dishes were BEYOND Fantastic and the dessert we all decided on was good enough for the four of us. All in all, a Truly Fabulous evening and THANK YOU so much for the wonderful service and hospitality. We plan to come back for our 34th Wedding Anniversary on June 11, but at an earlier time :)

Celebrated a birthday with a large group at the corner house bistro and all I can say is wow! The food, atmosphere and friendly staff blew us away. Vee was an absolute joy to be around and made the reservation and planning process very easy for our large party. Safe to say we will be returning!

Attention was excellent, food is the best I have had in the area, cozy restaurant, they are very accommodating. I would like the chef can include more vegetarian options Vegetarian options: I got a fungi ravioli very good and an excellent salad, but no more vegetarian options. It would be nice to have more options. For meat eaters my husband was very happy with the food

If you go to Keswick this is the place for an elegant dinner night! Staff are very professional and friendly. The food is amazing. It is close by the lake like walking distance. Chef is very nice and caring to the customers.

My husband and I went to dinner for our 1st wedding anniversary and all we can say is wow! Beautiful little restaurant in the heart of Georgina. We attended this past weekend for an 80th birthday dinner and were thoroughly impressed!! We had 12 in our group and everything was perfect, right down to the last detail which included a personalized menu just for us! The food was amazing, loved the atmosphere, and a big shout out to Vee, the waitstaff and of course the special talents of the chef and crew. Can t wait to go back! Dietary restrictions: We had two members in our group that have a few dietary restrictions and the chef was able to come up with a perfect combination for them

Have been a residence forever.... But this was our first time having dinner here. We were seated to our table by Vencenza, who asked each of us our names...which was a nice touch. Its a little on the expensive $$$ side. The ambiance was very nice and cozy, music volume was perfect, not too loud we can still heard our own conversations, great service and the food was good. We definitely enjoyed our appetitizers the best and would definitely go back for that. If you havent tried our local restaurant here, its definitely a must to add to your places to eat list.

The main portions were very generous; you wont leave hungry. All dishes are homemade fresh and promptly served. The glassware and dinnerware are high quality and elegant, adding to the fine dining experience. Overall, we had an experience that I would highly recommend. Well certainly be coming back for our next special occasion.

This resturant is an absolute gem. From starter to dessert, every dish was absolute perfection. Hats off to the chef! The service was absolutely outstanding as well! Melanie was attentive, knowledgeable, and so charming; she truly made the experience special. Id like to give a shout out to the owner as well; she goes out of her way to make your time at her establishment enjoyable and to gather feedback to be able to provide the best dinning experience and it shows. Must tries: 1. Ceaser Salad, I dont know if it was the house made dressing of the perfectly crisp pancetta, best salad ever! 2. House made Gelato, do not leave this resturant without ordering this. Lastly, the corner house coffee, wonderful drink to end the night!

My boyfriend and I ate here last night to celebrate both our birthdays and once again we had a phenomenal time. I have visited the Corner House Bistro quite a few times as it is always the chosen place to eat by my mother on her birthday. The food was absolutely to die for, I ordered the halibut meal and my boyfriend ordered the prime rib. Everything was cooked to perfection, served in the right amount of time and the portion sizes were spot on. The whole experience was calm and relaxing. There was a party of approximately 15 people who were seated behind us and noise was not an issue! On top of everything, the servers were amazing, it was so nice to see how all servers helped each other, our server would bring out our food and then right away another server would come out offering pepper and horseradish. This place has timing down to a T. We will most definitely be visiting again.

I ve eaten here twice in 2023 and can honestly say everything I have tried has been absolutely delicious. The servers have all been very friendly and sincerely want your dining experience to be one to remember. The chef makes everything, including the dessert, so the food quality is excellent.

The filet mignon is to die for. I have only been twice but both times were just amazing. I went in on the second occasion to get take out so I could surprise my fiancee with a nice candlelight dinner. It was a very last second decision on my part and they were able to put together an amazing dinner for us even though they were way too busy. I would definitely recommend it. Your tastebuds will thank you.

I just have to thank you, the beautiful Christmas dinner was absolutly a highlight of our holiday. Being separated from our family due to covid meant we were also missing out on that great meal! I hate cooking and enjoying your delicious dinner with out any fuss or clean up was amazing. We even had left overs the next day! Thank you for offering this, and spending time away from your plans to cook for us! It was wonderful and we cant thank you enough. My 4 year old said it was the best soup hes ever had!

We had reservations for Saturday Feb 12th for 6:40pm we arrived on time and were seated after about a 15 min wait. My best friend ordered a beer and I ordered a ceaser which came quickly. My friend finished his beer and ordered another one We knew that we only had an hour and a half for dinner by then we still had not been served our dinner finally got our dinner which was great but it was almost 8 oclock asked the server what they had for dessert she left and when she came back she said the deserts were not very good and we were going to have to leave the other person came to give us the bill and get payment said she had explained that we only had an hour and a half. The point is they handled that very poorly especially when there were people there in seats behind us that were there when we arrive and still there when we were basically told we had to leave. We were very distressed at how we we6 treated

This review is long overdue. We moved to Keswick from Toronto last summer and instantly knew the Corner House Bistro was going to be our only new favorite spot, especially for all special occasions. Not only does it look the part of a home-like dining room, but the staff are all inviting and genuine. Vee, the owner and one of the best people Ive had the pleasure of meeting treats you no different than a friend youve known for 20 years.

Outstanding meal! Starter was Musrooms Neptune (mushroom caps stuffed with Crab and cream cheese), mains were Chicken fettuccini alfredo and Seafood linguini. The pasta was a perfect al dente, the chicken was moist and super tender and the seafood was cooked perfectly! (Not an easy feat.) Many thanks and so much appreciation to Chef Al, his lovely wife, V, and co-server Stephanie for a lovely evening meal with impeccable service!

Went there for a 1st Father s Day dinner last night and was not disappointed! Vincenza and the staff were absolutely phenomenal! I attended with my mother in law, husband and 3 month old son. They had no problems with me bringing a baby which is always a plus for me. The food was exquisite!! Nice to know we have such a beautiful fine dining experience that is local! We will Most definitely be back for another special occasion.

My now fiancée and I went to this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. It was also to celebrate our engagement as I proposed earlier that day. The owners were so kind and accommodating almost as if they were hosting us at their own house (which I mean it is called Corner House Bistro so it makes sense). This is probably the most amazing restaurant experience I have had and it definitely had the amazing ambiance that I wanted for our special day. The food was probably the best I have ever had and the portions were great. We were completely stuffed but still went on eating because there was no way we could stop. We were coming in from a trip from Huntsville and they usually have seating times for 6:30pm but I was worried we wouldnt make that. The owner made special accommodations for us to come in at 7pm instead for our special dinner. Throughout our dinner, our server Michelle and the owner would check-in and talk to us about our trip and engagement and it really felt like we were amongst friends. We will definitely be back to celebrate other milestones and anniversaries. I have also heavily recommended this place to my future in-laws because I know they will be blown away by the restaurant that they will probably pay for my whole wedding. I really cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and at this point you have to go and experience it yourself. If you have any doubts at all or require a sign to see if you should choose this place to visit for a nice dinner or to celebrate an event, take this review as your sign.

My wife and I had a great experience at this location for our anniversary dinner, and it was an unexpected fine dining experience in the town of Georgina. The menu was pretty diverse with some interesting specials. And the service was top notch, with both the hostess and waitress (her name was Michelle possibly?) making sure we had everything we needed. My wife and I each got an appetizer, entree, and desert. I really enjoyed the rack of lamb I ordered. Obviously our bill was high by the end of the night, but we both feel it was worth it. There were definitely options on the menu for those looking to spend less than we did.

Not only is the food out of this world but the atmosphere is also exquisite! We ve been to the Corner House a few times now and have decided it s our go to for every special occasion. If you re looking for a decadent meal and all around amazing dining experience, Corner house is a must!!!!

Started with the featured cocktail, then the bread was delicious, the featured salad was unbelievable, then our main courses (Yum!) and dessert (oooh cheesecake) and specialty coffee. After living in Keswick for a year and hearing a number of people comment on how good this restaurant is, my girlfriend and I had to give it a shot . I can honestly say, this will now be our new go-to for special occasions. The food was SPECTACULAR . Chef Alan and his team do a great job! We had a bottle of pinot grigio, the Neptune Mushrooms, a lobster and stuffed shrimp risotto, berry brownie, and espresso. The atmosphere is very warm and personal .it is truly a great dining experience. V and her staff were all extremely friendly, conversational, yet still professional. Hats off to all the staff and thank for the wonderful meal and service Already looking forward to our next visit!

We wanted to have dinner, at The Corner House Bistro, to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. They did NOT disappoint!! We started with various cocktails, then wine. Appetizers were grilled calamari, stuffed Yorkshire puddings and a salad special which was grilled Niagara peaches with Burrata cheese, spiced toasted pecans on a bed of arugula with a basalmic glaze. For our mains ... Chicken Marsala served with Boursin mashed potatoes, mushroom, jus, Marsala and perfectly cooked vegetables. Veal chop, jus, on a bed of mushroom risotto and perfectly cooked vegetables. And a New York striploin with drunken mushrooms, market vegetables and baby roasted potatoes. We finished up with dessert ... caramel pecan cheesecake, cafe latte, espresso and an affogato. We were absolutely stuffed with delicious food. The service was very attentive. The ambiance is lovely. Vee and Alan know how to make you feel welcome. If you have not tried The Corner House Bistro; please go. It is sooo delicious. If you have been but its been awhile ... go back and enjoy another wonderful meal. Cheers.

We recently visited Corner House Bistro for our anniversary dinner and it was nothing short of phenomenal. From wine to apps, entrees to dessert, the food was absolutely delicious, high quality with generous portions. Service was also amazing - quick, friendly and personable. Would recommend Corner House for intimate dinners as well as groups/special occasions. We will be back soon!

The food here is incredible! Servers are top notch also. It is expensive but youre getting quality. I also love how seriously they took their customers safety when covid was still a serious issue. They stopped making the chicken Parm with the tomato sauce which makes me very sad as alfredo sauce with chicken parm isnt quite the same/traditional. But I will continue to come here for the other menu items! Best food in Keswick.

Long overdue writing this review! We ve enjoyed many exceptional meals at Corner House with friends and family. Vee is the warmest and most lovely host and always takes such great care of us. Food is always outstanding, you can t go wrong with anything on the menu but the specials and any seafood dish are always favourites! Special shout-out to chef s cheesecake, made in house all from scratch. Can t wait for our next date night!

We decided last minute to try this restaurant out last Friday and they thankfully were able to squeeze us in. From the extraordinary efforts with their Covid precautions to the exquisite manners and knowledgeable presentation displayed by their staff, this was an incredible unexpected find. The food was spectacular, Ive never ended up ordering my full meal based on the specials, everything seemed lovingly prepared and was plated beautifully. We have decided that this place will be added to our special occasion restaurants and I cannot wait to go back and bring some friends.

Went to The Corner House Bistro on the weekend for date night. It was the first time wed been and man were we blown away. First off the atmosphere is perfect. Its quaint, quiet, great decore AND the delicious smell of all their mind blowing dishes hits you as soon as you walk in the doors. Our server Savannah was attentive, polite, friendly, funny and just over all amazing. We had pre-decided what we wanted but that quickly changed once we heard all of the daily specials. We ended up with the Coquille Saint Jaques, 12oz Veal Risotto and Lobster tails. Everything, and I mean everything, from the bread to the drinks to the apps to the mains (we didnt end up getting desert as we were too stuffed to move) was absolutely delicious. If you havent been I HIGHLY recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

We had a large family dinner and the whole experience was incredible. The food, service and atmosphere will all top notch. There were a number of children under 12 in our party as well, and they loved the Bistro Chicken & seafood that was served. Cannot recommend enough.

Ordered the New Years Take out dinner and it was AMAZING! It came highly recommended and they didnt disappoint. I will definitely order again. Thank you for a delicious meal. The cheesecake for desert was the grand finale.

We had the pleasure of ordering takeout from the Corner House Bistro for New Years Eve dinner. Our family of 5 had the prime rib feast and chicken fettuccini alfredo all complete with ceasar salads and cheesecake desserts (caramel pecan and chocolate peanutbutter). The prime rib was a generous cut, top notch beef and cooked to perfection! The boys truly enjoyed the fettuccini and there was nothing left on their plates (a miracle). From the salad to the main course to the dessert it was a heavenly treat to end the year. Thank you Corner House Bistro for the excellent food and service. We will definitely order again!

V and her team are EVERYTHING! This restaurant, my word, every item you order (and I ve gone through the menu) is true perfection. My husband and I are obsessed with the rack of lamb: 6 chops for such a great price. The people are beautiful, so welcoming and helpful. This is the place to eat in Georgina. Hell, within 100KM!

Original: I usually never write a bad review but felt like I needed to post this. It may be one off situation but it doesnt change how we felt after the night ended. We were a big group traveling through the town and decided to make a last minute discussion to visit one of the highly rated restaurants in the town to try out the meal. To our surprise the host was able to accommodate our large group and everything was going well (even the food tasted amazing). Unfortunately the night was ruined and left a sour taste when the server insisted from the very moment we sat down that it was a high end restaurant in a condescending tone implying we were out of place. Yes we were wearing shorts and Birkenstock as it was an impromptu visit but those repeated comments made many people in the group felt uncomfortable and judged by the server. The server did come back to apologize but it was one of those sorry but not sorry sorta conversation. We had our meal as quickly as possible, packed a few deserts to go and left the place. I would recommend the restaurant for those who want to spend $30-$60 on a meal as long as they dressed for it. I sincerely hope it is a one of situation but it did ruin our night.

Visited Corner House yesterday evening: - The food was overall ok - nice focaccia, ok (but way too salty) soup, ok scallops, mediocre risotto which was way overpriced - A drink (sangria) was good - Unacceptable requirement to pay extra $7 for sharing main dish with my husband - If the condition of the place is to order at least one main dish per person - post it so everyone knows and we wouldnt waisted our time visiting - Had to fight with the server to get an empty plate so we could split the main dish - Tried to charge us for the extra order of focaccia we never ordered - Overall the servers made us feel they are doing us a favor serving us - Definitely not recommending to any of our friends

Where do I begin... this place is INCREDIBLE. Such quality service and to top it off, outstanding food. After getting take out twice (due to covid) we finally got the chance now that restrictions have loosened, to go in and enjoy the meal and it was as good as we could have imagined. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We have some favourite dishes from The Keg such as mushrooms neptune, steak and lobster, and all of them were better and more flavorful at Corner House Bistro! We were so impressed with how fresh everything tasted! The service was wonderful, our order was ready on time, and it tasted so delicious! We will definitely be eating here again!

I wanted to take a moment to shout out this great restaurant and in particular its owners, Vee and Chef Allen. They have made COVID bearable through an unending amount of takeout pasta and steak. They are hardworking and community-minded, they give back to charity and make ridiculously delicious shortrib. If you are in the area, Corner House is a must.

The seafood takeout on Mothers Day was superb. People vote with their feet. I was early and counted three cars ahead of me in 15 minutes. The Bistro is far and away the best restaurant in Georgina.

We ordered take outand they were very accommodating and the service at pick up was great but after a 5 minute drive home everything was cold.

Had take out twice in 2 weeks. Was still steaming hot when I got home. The veal marsala has the most incredible beef flavor, the blend of fresh herbs and veg are such a refreshing side. The NY cheesecake is to die for!

This is most likely going to be our new favorite place in Keswick. It has a high end feel to it. The Host/owner was super personable. We were checked for double vaccine and our id. I love that she was diligent with this. The food was amazing. We had escargot, calamari, greens, ravioli served with rapini, and the special ravioli that came with lobster, shrimp. We also had a glass of Shiraz each served in a clean large wine glass embellished with the company logo. We ended up having dessert as well since we couldn t pass it up. Creme brûlée and brownie with vanilla gelato. Everything was excellent.

Best restaurant in Keswick

After hearing so much about this place, my wife and I finally got the opportunity (and a baby sitter) to come. We were pleasantly greeted and seated by the hostess, Vee, who I believe is also the owner with her husband the Chef. Just when I thought I was having a hard time deciding between the many offerings on the menu, our waiter stopped by to tell us about their daily features. WOW! I wanted them all! After much deliberation, we went with the Caprese Salad, Lobster Newburg, Catch of the day(Chilean Sea Bass) and Prime Rib. The taste and the presentation is truly a work of art. I am still savouring the flavours from last night. The service was perfect, attentive but not intrusive. Had an absolutely wonderful, and long overdue, date nite with my wife. Food, Service and Ambiance is some of the best I have ever experienced. Looking forward to having the opportunity to come back to the Corner House. Simply Amazing!

The food is AMAZING. The restaurant is very small, I always feel as if I am having a meal with the person next to me, and it can get loud. All in all the dining experience is a 6 out of 10 for this reason. On less busy nights I imagine this isnt a problem.

Lucked out getting same day reservations this evening for our annual girls weekend in Jacksons point...outstanding service accompanied by outstanding food!!! Espresso martinis are a must try. Highly recommend!!!

Food is excellent and high end. Looks beautiful and tastes better. Server was knowledgeable. Owner Vee was present and engaged which made the meal even better. The best Arctic char Ive ever had and by far the best dessert. Chef made favorite blueberry and limonchello cheesecake. If you havent been you should go especially for a celebration because its decadent. Good price for fine dining too.

Wonderful food, atmosphere, and service. Their crab stuffed shrimp is one of my favourite dishes however they have a wonderful menu that caters to different tastes and very knowledgeable staff.

The service was bordering on arrogant and pretentious. Most of the food was below mediocre, chicken parmesan and veggies were both cold. The short ribs with gnocchi tasted off, the meat did not taste fresh and the gnocchi was over salted. The cappuccino was burnt, worst coffee I have ever had. The decor is nice. This is not a fine dining restaurant with ridiculously overpriced food. Edit: As for the response from the owner. Allow me to inform you - we are not the type to make a scene as the restaurant. We thanked you and payed you very well for the meal. However, this is why google reviews exist, exactly for this reason. For us to share our experience without having to hash it out with you, the owner in the restaurant. As patrons we have the right to choose to express our opinions on your establishment. And I love how youre lying about the coffee and the portions that were eaten but that is ok, you do as you see fit. This is part of the reason we wont be returning.

My husband and I have dined at the Corner House Bistro many times. It is definitely the best fine dining establishment in Keswick and could easily compete with some of the fine dining establishments in Toronto! The owners Vee and Alan are great people and even donate money from their charity bread to local charities. They are also very accommodating and make everyone feel at home and definitely welcome! The food has never been anything but superb and I have dined in many fine dining establishments in the city. Presentation is also excellent! Pasta is served eldente and vegetables are always cooked perfectly with a beautiful crunch. Definitely my favorite place to dine with a lovely ambiance featuring an inviting fireplace and candles on the tables. Staff are extremely knowledgeable about the menu, very friendly and professional. Bonus: if you forgot your reading glasses, not to worry Vee has a whole bowl full of glasses for patrons to use! Just the type of extra touch that shows the genuine thoughtfulness of the owners!

Pre-ordered take-out last week for this past weekend (Victoria Day weekend) for by husbands birthday and could not have been more pleased! We ordered the filet mignon, lamb and 2 cheesecakes and everything turned out exactly as we ordered. Very delicious! I was in contact with the owner (Vee) a few times prior to ordering and to confirm the order and she was very helpful and kind. I am so happy that this business is adapting to the current state of affairs of the country. My husband and I love to spend special occasions here and we really want to support local businesses during this time. Thank you for making my husbands birthday super delicious!

What an experience! - went this evening to visit my grandfather with my household family, I hadnt seen him in almost an entire year. And the corner house was so gracious! From booking our reservation (which they didnt even put a time limit on our table!) To the food and 5 star service! I can honestly say this restaurant creates the most exceptional and delectable atmosphere and experience! They deliver and do NOT disappoint. thank you for making my familys experience a wonderful one! (Sorry we took so long to leave after you closed) lol

I cannot believe it took me this long to find this gem. The service was exceptional. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was wonderful. There is not a thing I would have changed about this experience. The food is super fresh and everything was done with love. We ordered the mussels & escargot for appetizers, ordered a seafood pasta with a surf and turf for two. To end the night we ordered the coffee creme brûlée, we ordered for 3 and even though it was enough food for 4 really hungry eater, we couldn t stop. The pictures won t do it justice. I highly recommend going here. Most definitely the best dine in in York, Durham and possibly Toronto.

We go every year for our wedding anniversary dinner and they have never disappointed. They have excellent accommodations for social distancing rules and dining in safely. The staff is terrific and the food gets better every time as everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend

Great food and atmosphere

I highly recommend this restaurant! Came here on Valentines Day without a reservation and we got a table no problem. My parents have both owned multiple restaurants growing up and this is the first restaurant that served me a meal comparable to the ones my parents make! Their focaccia tastes just like my Nonna s! Also love how extra bread purchased goes towards local charities (my boyfriend ordered 4 extra baskets). We were so pleased to hear about their community involvement that we donated an additional $20. They are very accommodating when it comes to food restrictions which I was very impressed with as most restaurants give me a hard time. The food was excellent and they provide great portion sizes. Staff and owners are super professional and welcoming. Can t wait to try their creme brûlée next time. Great first impression!

This place is my husbands new favourite restaurant. Ive been there a few times now with my family and friends and now a date night and now my husband knows what Ive been raving about. Everything is made in house from the appetizers to the desserts. Chef really impressed us with his homemade cheesecakes and the surf n turf and risotto was to die for. We highly recommend this place. If you want to take your family or friends out this is the perfect place.

This was by far one of the best meals/experiences weve ever had at a restaurant. V and her husband were so lovely, our server drew was a delight, and the food was spectacular. From the presentation to the flavour... O M G ...we were ALL blown away. I was shocked to hear my boyfriend (the french onion soup connoisseur) say it was the best french onion soup he had ever had. Their take out dinner for four was scrumptious! The filet mignon, chicken parmigiana and rack of lamb were fabulous. This is far and away the best eat in and take out restaurant in the area. Bravo!

I ordered the veal parmigiana for pickup and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of eating the meal. It was a prefect combination of high quality ingredients and reasonably large portion sizes. Definitely worth every penny, would order again.

We went here for our anniversary and were very impressed. The staff and owners were very friendly, the service was excellent, meals made to order and perfectly timed, food was incredible, and we even received a complimentary rose for our anniversary. The owner and servers regularly checked on us and were very accomodating. Honestly would recommend to any and everyone. I have no complaints. This was a 10/10 experience.

Absolutly incredible. Food beats everything and the service is incredible. They treat you like royalty and have the most invredibly well thought out menue. Their fixed price menue is an incredible deal with many options. Will be here for every celebration dinner :)

Went to the Corner House for dinner before going to the Stephen Leacock Theatre. The service was great and food fantastic. Best risotto I ve ever had and homemade chocolate peanut butter cheesecake to die for! Thank you for an extra special birthday dinner!
