Fellpack use bold & innovative flavours to create tasty dishes that are both hearty and healthy. The service is always friendly and the atmosphere fun & relaxed.
We walked past this place and decided to stop in for lunch. They have quite a small lunch/brunch menu until 3pm. It's really nicely decorated inside and has a quirky, laid back vibe. There's a good selection of drinks including cocktails and beers. Everything we ate was delicious, the Reuben sandwich in particular was outstanding. Well worth a try.
Lovely vibe. Dog friendly and great staff. Best brunch and do lots of great veggie and vegan food. Scrambled tofu is epic especially with the potato hash.
I was recommended Fellpack by a friend who lives in the area. Booked online which is recommended. They had a highchair as requested ready for us. Great food and great service very friendly. As normal in this part of the world also dog friendly. They also had kids menu they offered us which was perfect. I will definitely be back.
Incredible find! A real foodies paradise. I read the reviews and was hopeful about this place but I was still blown away - from arriving and getting the option of eating at the bar (I love this from lots of trips to the US but it's not a thing that British establishments do well - here it really was!) to the pairing recommendations it was a delight. I wanted something hearty but delicious and their 12 hour beef shin Ragu hit the spot. I had a chat with the knowledgeable bar staff who suggested a particular wine to pair and it was perfect! Another member of staff suggested dessert which was also excellent. All of them were friendly and happy to spend time to ensure I had a really enjoyable dinner. I've already recommended it as a must-do spot to several friends and family!
Went for dinner last week, it was a busy spot, but staff were very friendly and welcoming, happy to give suggestions or a bit more time if needed. Food was really good, some very creative mixes. Portions aren't massive, so plan for a couple of courses. Prices were reasonable, especially for a tourists hot-spot.
Simply can't fault the place after some research on Google maps. We were accommodated brilliantly by the staff there, especially Harry, and my Crisp BBQ chicken main was very nice. Such a relaxing location at that time of the evening as well. We will return again, I suspect, as they really went above to ensure there could be some slight amendments on our choice to accommodate a gluten-free and (mostly) keto diner.
We booked to visit Fellpack on the second night of a three night stay and it was so good we booked for the last night too. What a great place we just loved everything about it, the place itself, the staff, the vibe and especially the food. As vegans there was a great choice and lucky for us on the second night the menu had changed slightly so we had a whole different menu. Dishes we had were spiced cashews, lemon and dill hummus with crostini, romesco dip and corn shards, onion bhaji, cauliflower risotto, spring vegetable gnocchi, burrito bowl and falafel kofta, sticky toffee pudding... absolutely cracking food..If only we lived nearer so just means we'll have to organise another trip to Keswick. Highly recommended.
An excellent place to eat, I'd probably say the best in Keswick. Visited twice during our holiday and both times the food was very good. The tacos were my favourite. Plenty of gluten free options. Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. I asked for no marmalade curd on my dessert and the waitress asked if I also wanted to swap the ice cream as that was marmalade too. Little, thoughtful suggestions like that make a big difference. A very pleasant experience. Will definitely be returning next year!
We had intended to reserve a table but only times that didnt suit were available online so we decided to try our luck anyway. Thankfully the staff were accomodating and found us space. There was a festive deal on: 2 courses for £24 or 3 for £26. We both had 3 courses of different dishes and the food was beautiful! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even with what seemed to be a full house. Thank you for a lovely last meal in Keswick.
Perfect brunch spot
Just returned home from a really nice 4 night stay at the Fell Pack house hotel in Keswick. Absolutely could not fault it, staff were so helpful and friendly, our room was excellent, breakfast was amazing and a great location being just 2/3 minute walk to Keswick main St. A little shelf or shower tray in the shower would have been nice for myself and the wife as we are elderly and had to put shampoo ect ect on the floor. 100% will stay again in the future. 31.10. 2024.
Amazing menu with a great fusion of cultures. Went here twice and both meals were fantastic. Staff was great. Ambience was comfy and eclectic. Couldn t recommend this place more highly. Ramen is soooo good. And if you can grab the seasonal brats, get them while you can!
Just ok, nothing special, much better places in and around Keswick.
Great food and great service. Friendly staff
Very disappointed - had read the reviews so was expecting more. Had the burrito bowl - very dry and generally lacking in flavour. My partner never leaves food but he left 1/2 of this. Hummus was bland. £50 spent - hard to swallow - when you leave hungry. Food : 2/5
Wanted to leave a review following our recent visit, particularly to highlight the service from Vic & Bibi. We had misread the menu before arriving at Fellpack, not realising that the brunch menu had finished. We weren t able to order anything from the main menu due to my wife s allergies, but Vic & Bibi were so helpful and agreed to let us order from the breakfast menu. Both were extremely professional and friendly in how they dealt with us, and we thought that this should be recognised!
Beautiful
First time visit: Group booking. Second visit: Family dinner. Returning customer: Friends Breakfast We came for breakfast and were seated very promptly with plenty of surrounding space for a pram and highchair. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They brought out one friends meal first as she had to shoot off. They were very attentive with offering extra drinks and clearing away plates and cutlery around whoever had finished and was holding our 10 month old baby. Highly recommend and will be returning again.
Great pub..
Incredible food and amazing staff. I have a few dietary requirements and they were really helpful creating a dish that was suitable Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
We got the fish curry which didn t have much curry flavor, and the lamb Rendang which didn t have much rendang spices.
Delicious cocktail. amazing food - excellent ingredients assembled with care. dog friendly.
Excellent food, amazing service and lovely place. Highly recommended! Had the burrito bowl which was delicious. Decent coffee too!
Honestly the best meal I ve ever had
Fantastic food, cocktails and atmosphere. Thank you guys!
Love this place. Cool decor, first rate food, staff friendly. Easy to get table. Will be back soon!
Absolutely fantastic experience both in the quality of the food as well as the staff and ambience. Truly delicious food and catering incredibly well for dietary restrictions. Dietary restrictions: The menu can be flexed to suit. Its the only place I think Ive been to in my life that was truly flexible and encouraging in mu dietary needs. I wasnt made to feel awkward or fussy, genuinely the best experience.
Booked for a Tuesday evening post Alhambra Cinema Supper. Fabulous welcome at the door. What a lovely, concise menu, something for everyone. We shared the Mackerel Rillette starter and ordered Lamb Rendang and Fishcakes for our mains, wow!, really flavosome, well cooked and presented. Service was really attentive and friendly. Great draft local Craft Beer and a crisp Sauvignon. We just about managed to finish our shared Espresso Crime Brulée, which was strong and silky with a cracking crust of caramelised sugar. Well be back.
Excellent food and a great vibe.
My wife and I had the most delicious meal at Fellpack last night after a 30k hike with Pig, our Jack Russell. Such a great place - cool, stylish, really good people and exceptional food! In fact, it was our second visit in the same day (these guys do a fantastic breakfast, too). We both had Fish Curry Fellpot, washed down with a Lakeland G&T. Definitely recommend at least two visits.
We loved it here. Friendly staff and delicious food. Such a great vibe of a restaurant as well!
Super friendly helpful staff who put our order through urgently when we were tight for time before getting the train home. Food was excellent and love their spotify playlists too
Great place to visit
Friendly service, mains were delicious and dessert was phenomenal- we got the cherry brownie and basque cheesecake!!
Simply awesome! Was recommended by our hosts while we were on holidays in Keswick and did not disappoint. Lovely restaurant with an amazing staff. Food was incredibly good aswell. We were lucky to get a table for dinner, a reservation is highly recommended Food : 5/5
We have come to the fellpack for dinner 3 times over 3 years and each time we have an amazing meal, great drinks, superb service and a brilliant start to our evening. The menu has been different on each occasion and we asked about it to be told it was created by the chef with assistance of the staff. Bring back the sticky beef cheeks with ginger and spices if you can those were amazing. Im sure we will be back next year to enjoy ourselves again.
Had a good late lunch here really good food and service Breakfast muffin and chilli prawns Food : 4/5
Lovely food and staff. I was expecting a restaurant but its more like a pub with dogs, so not good if youre allergic to them.
I so wanted to like this place following the online reviews. Certainly the atmosphere was welcoming. It had a busy-buzz feel to it. Our waitress was an absolute delight, a real credit to the place (unfortunately we didnt get her name!). However our wait for food was over 30 minutes from the time the order was taken. Was it worth the wait? Sadly no. The dishes were nice, but only that, nothing spectacular and portion sizes were distinctly average. (Chicken and waffles for my wife and lamb rendang for me). In conclusion, would we go here again? Regrettably no. Which is a pity as we were so looking forward to going here
This was an amazing place to visit. If you want good food, drink ,service and atmosphere in Keswick this is the place to go . I dont usually write reviews but,I thought the whole evening was great . Especially the lovely waitress, she was friendly , efficient and kind. Food
Food is delicious! Service excellent. Love this place!
This place was fantastic! We went twice during our 3 night stay simply because we had such a great experience the first night, both in terms of food as well as the friendly, beautiful staff. The first night was pouring rain and it was difficult to get a place anywhere. They were fully booked up and very transparent about their wait times and the process of who would get the tables first. We were willing to wait and are very very glad we did. The food selection was so interesting and incorporated Asian and western flavours and the resulting dishes were immaculate. We tried different things the second time around and it did not disappoint. The dessert was a particular highlight for me, especially the incredibly fudgy brownies and the rhubarb crème brûlée. Highly recommended!
Quality fare made to order. Excellent service. Relaxed atmosphere.
Dietary restrictions: Halal options are fish curry and gnocchi. Both are great options. Great coffee Food
What a lovely experience totally out of the blue. We were a group of friends out for the day in Keswick and decided to go for lunch. We stopped at one restaurant but it was full on the off chance we called in to the Fellpack and we were lucky to get a table. From then on best decision of the day. So a big thank you to Catherine and her colleagues for making our lunch special. Good food, good wine and beer and excellent service.
Great spot in Keswick. Well worth a visit but you must book well in advance if you want to guarantee a good time to eat. Attentive waiters, great menu (not too extensive so you know it s going to be good), good drink selection. You pay for what you get, and was worth every penny. Lovely asset to Keswick and we will be back!
Atmosphere and service is pretty good. HOWEVER, food is not worth the price. Food
Sauvignon blanc with Mackerel & gooseberry was fab. However, the star of the show was the Ramen Pork with Bok Choy. Heat & flavour was sublime. They must have great chef/s here. Staff so pleasant. Must book beforehand. Maybe even physically turning up like we did. A real find in Keswick
Lovely staff Great food Bread was amazing! Food : 5/5
Excellent food. Well prepared and presented. Friendly staff.
Such a lovely restaurant. Food is delicious with a creative menu that is updated seasonally, great cocktails and really fantastic friendly service. The deco is lush and there is a great vibe too.
Great service and food, as well as dog-friendly
Awesome food, excellent service from Bibi. Will definitely be back!
The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious, portions were very generous, and the staff were friendly. Can t fault this restaurant! Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating for dietary restrictions - they had plenty of dairy free/vegan options.
The food was excellent and deserves more stars than I have given it BUT main course portions are too small and the glass of Primitivo I ordered was acidic and lacking bouquet as well as being £2.00 more expensive than a glass in another restaurant in Keswick where it was excellent
Visited as a table of 8 & is highly recommend. Staff were friendly & patient, and the food was delicious! Booking advised. Dog friendly. Large public car park at the rear.
Called in on a Sunday morning after a stopover in Keswick and was very impressed with the food. I had the Eggs Benedict with sriracha hollandaise and salt beef and it was genuinely fantastic. My colleague had the veggie fry up, which he also enjoyed, but he had to go on the hunt for his own salt and pepper and condiments as none were offered or on the table. Its a small point, but on the whole a very enjoyable brunch.
Delicious dinner, very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, we really enjoyed our dinner here!
The Fellpack is a fab restaurant/bistro - it has great food and wine, with excellent vegan options. Its spacious, and has a friendly and chilled vibe.
We visited fellpack twice yesterday one for just a drink around lunch time, (non acholol) we was so impressed with the friendly staff we went back in the evening for food and was even more impressed with the food it is outstanding, its definitely our favourite place in keswick we will visit everytime we come back , infact we may even go back today before going home tomorrow.
Very good food and service, just wish the menu had more offerings especially for chicken / veg
Amazing food and service, up there with the best in Keswick.
Our favourite restaurant in Keswick! The menu is different every time we visit but always great. Staff are really friendly and have great walk recommendations.
Our favorite restaurant in Keswick. Especially enjoyed the dessert = frangipane with ice cream and sour cherries.
Gorgeous goergous food, great presentation and generally big portions. We all got something different and all tried each others because every dish was wonderful in its own way. These were the tagliatele, fish, lamb, and ramen (the fish cake was the smallest). For desserts we tried the basque cheesecake, creme brulee and pecan tart. The cheesecake was a little dryer than I expected, and the top of the creme brulee was slightly overdone and bitter. But i still ate mine and half of my mums, it was so creamy and smooth and delicious. The decor was a mix of rustic and modern. And they had an amazing light fixture with all shapes and sizes of lightbulbs which we all found really cool. The restaurant is off the town a little, so a little quieter and more peaceful. And Keswick generally is very sweet for a little walk around and safe.
Brilliant vegetarian options, nice place and friendly staff
Delightful dishes and staff members, serving inventive food in crockery that keeps it piping hot. Chat with them about the peaks and their Spotify playlists Vegetarian options: Cauliflower risotto and gnocchi with pesto were both excellent Kid-friendliness: They didn t mind a full-sized pram in the dining room
We sat out, and then in (2 adults, 1 dog) as the weather turned. The staff couldn t have been more accommodating, or friendly, nor the food more delicious. Thank you, and we will be back! Food
Delicious! Me and my wife visited on our honeymoon, my wife has coeliac disease so we were both eating gluten free. This was no trouble at all, the staff were confident and knowledgeable, they reassured us they could cater for us and that most their menu Is GF anyway so the cross contamination risk is low anyway, they prepared it all separate etc. The food was so nice, well definitely be back! Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free coeliac
Great restaurant with a seasonal menu that is fantastic. Food was flavorful and beautifully presented. 10/10
Great brunch! A nice restaurant with good brunch. Came here as a recommendation and really enjoyed the food!
Great lunchtime spot at the window watching the world go by. Food was tasty and good value.
Good cocktails, and mocktails. Really good. Small menu but inventive dishes. We had the Cauliflower Risotto with tapenade, which was gorgeous. Friendly staff, nice place. On a wet Monday in Keswick, this place really lightened the mood
Best food in Keswick - and generally, to be fair. Cocktails were spot on as well.
Brilliant experience here. The best food we have eaten this week in Keswick. Will definitely book again next time we visit.
You really need to book for a table but its worth it!
Rubbish customer service and really rude manager, who needs to actually smile for once. Honestly, he made us all feel very unwelcome, unsettled and a chore to be there. The things he was saying were not OK either.
Went for dinner on a Thursday night, really lovely atmosphere! Food was delicious had the tagine and katsu curry .. our favourite was the tagine- defo recommend. We had starters Main desert and cocktails for a good price
This is the third visit to the Fellpack and it has not disappointed, beautiful food, great engaging staff and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely night.
A perfectly good breakfast of scrambled egg on toast and bacon + unlimited coffee at a great value price.
Amazing place. Friendly staff, excellent food and great cocktails. I wish I would live closer
Was such a nice wee surprise! Tucked away at the end of the street, had been traipsing from different pubs and restaurants wondering what to eat and this place stood out as having an eclectic menu with interesting meals like Indonesian lamb rendang and ramen and sardinian seafood stew being all on the same menu. We tried the pork belly ramen, chicken katsu, and rhubarb and custard creme brulee, as well as the Noogroni and they were all fantastic. Great service and attentive staff too!! The atmosphere is fantastic and warm and great decor as well. Would definitely recommend to friends.
Fabulous food and drinks, beautiful place and friendly, attentive staff which is so rare to meet these days. We had the cauliflower risotto and ramen, both were delicious. And the pecan pie oh my!
Just fantastic, food was great, managed to squeeze us in as a drop in. The service and attentiveness was perfect. The staff are brilliant. I cannot recommend this place enough, youll love it!
Nice food and nice people, buzzing atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it !
Lovely food with fantastic and very friendly service. Our new favourite.
Food & cocktails were fantastic! Both of loved our food & drinks we will 100% be visiting again 10/10
Average food and drinks for top end prices.
Really good food and service here. Staff friendly and helpful Food
Amazing food in a busy bustling environment served by smiling friendly and helpful staff. Cant fault the place - we had a great time there and would definitely recommend.
Anniversary meal for my husband and I, cocktails, bubbles and outstanding food in a lovely atmosphere with attentive hospitality without being intrusive. Whats not to love. Thank you team for a wonderful and memorable meal Vegetarian options: Actually Im vegan and there were many vegan options, I selected wild garlic hummus, falafel/kofta platter and sticky toffee pudding. All were delicious and I couldnt finish my dessert as I was very full.
Really good for Gluten Free and such tasty food! Would recommend!!!
Celebrating with family a special birthday at the Fellpack, nice meal, good service, prices a little high but that s the Lake District for you, dog friendly too.
Lovely service and some beautiful food. Lucky to get a sunny spot outside too. Will be back again!
Absolutely delicious food served by lovely staff in a restaurant with great atmosphere
Absolutely smashed it
The best place in Lake District!
Really nice place. Food was universally very good and very reasonably priced for the quality. Both mains (beef Ragu and lamb tagine) had very tender meat and generous portions. Service was efficient and friendly. We will definitely be back
Wandered in here on our way back to our B&B and ended up staying a while... we had cocktails and I had a lakeland no6 malt whisky. The staff team couldnt have been friendlier and the service was excellent. There is food available here and will definitely be back to try out their menu.
Great place, lovely staff, yummy food. What else do you need? Vegetarian options: Lovely vegetarian food Food : 5/5 |
We ate here for a pre-theatre dinner. Excellent lamb tagine, good cocktails, and a perfect atmosphere. Not too loud and good service. Id definitely return!
Popped in for a quick drink, food menu looked great so will try food at some point. Friendly service and smiles all round.
Loved it. We visited for our 25th wedding anniversary, and the staff made us feel very welcome.. going ao far as to give us a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival. Food was excellent, and we highly recommend the pecan pie dessert. Booking is recommended, and there is a step-free entrance if needed.
Stunning all round.
The best food in Keswick at the moment. Been for Sunday roast, brunch and dinner and am very impressed. Tasty, full of flavour, elegant food, beautifully presented and served with a smile. My favourite place in the Lakes!
Really enjoyed the Sunday roast with a mocktail in dry January Nice vibe and great service.
We stopped in for drinks and nibbles on a Saturday evening. Relaxed but vibrant. The staff were so friendly and helpful with drinks recommendations. The no-alcohol negroni was delicious. Would definitely visit again!
Food and service here is without fault. Perfect
Food was beautiful, only one problem the cabbage wasnt washed so mouthful of grit not good. This is basics that arent right!!
Great atmosphere, fantastic food, excellent beer and really good service. The staff are friendly and welcoming. A real find.
This was our first time to Fellpack and I certainly see what all the hype is about! We had a lovely time- the decor is incredibly thoughtful and relaxed. Attention to detail is in everything if you look closely, from the style of the venue, to the natural scenes projected on the wall, the tableware, the music, the booklet on the tables that describes the Chef and his team, has recipes and tips for the surrounding area. The service was quick and really friendly. Cocktails and food to die for, and very fairly priced! We were lucky to get a reservation for 2. I tried to book a week in advance for a week-long trip and there were only two timeslots available! Book in advance if you can! For cocktails we had: negroni, salted caramel espresso martini, an apple margarita and a collins For starters: focaccia and onion bhajis For mains: Katsu curry and beef shin ragu For deserts: gingerbread creme brule and burnt basque cheesecake Each one of these dishes was delicious and we highly recommend them all. Perfectly spiced and seasoned.
Great food. Lovely restaurant with a cosy fire. Host very amiable and helpful, and helped us complete our meal in plenty of time before the theatre play started. Highly recommended. Dietary restrictions: Managed the little one s GF restrictions with no problem
Beautiful restaurant - cosy yet classy, with delicious fresh food and really amazing staff. Will definitely be returning every time were in Keswick. A real treat (and reasonably priced), a perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday. Love that dogs are allowed too...means we can have a nice meal out instead of being restricted to pubs.
Perfect option for lunch on cold wet dec day. Food was delicious, best burrito I ve ever eaten, combined with the option to sit inside the Fellpack next door. Amazing value with no fuss!
Delicious food. I had the vegan burrito and loaded fries and it was all so tasty, best part was that I asked for no coriander and there was none snuck in. Highly recommend Food
Got a burrito from the airstream outside and sat inside due to the pouring rain! So tasty - pulled beef with jalapeños, guacamole, beans etc. with nacho fries. Good price and lovely, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend. Has the fellpack bowls previously and loved those too.
Another excellent meal, all home cooked, super tasty and good value. Brilliant service too. Highly recommend.
Why havent we been here before! Best Sunday dinner around. The service is so friendly and upbeat nothing is too much for them at all. The food is absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The crumble is the best Ive had anywhere. Love the little touch of the book with the cheesecake recipe and the riddles. We definitely will be back soon.
Fantastic place for Sunday roast. Great food, great staff and a nice atmosphere.
If I ever open a restaurant Im going to come here first and ask them how. Every member of staff seemed to genuinely love working here and as a customer that just shines through and makes your visit a joy. We arrived without a booking on a busy Saturday night and they went out of their way to fit us in. The food was sublime, service was attentive and above all a ton of fun. Plus they had a ton of vegan and gluten free options on the menu. Always appreciated. Well be back. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options on the menu. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options on the menu. Also options that are both gluten free and vegan. Winning.
What a place! I dont know what the staff were all on but I want it! Never met such a cheerful workforce in a bar before. Amazing vibes, people and the food was just incredible. Wish we were staying longer so we can go back for seconds Vegetarian options: Some lovely vegetarian options and interesting vegan options too including a vegan and gluten free Dahl and sticky toffee pudding.
This is a regular for us. Excellent burritos and fries. Service always friendly.
We fell unlucky, okay food, but a miserable dining experience. If you are going to refer to customers as profit fodder within ear shot, dont! The waiting staff did their best, but so overshadowed by a callous, flippant, but truly disingenuous remark. Do better, be better
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was a good standard.
We went here two nights in a row, the food is literally the best Ive ever had and the staff are awesome. Fantastic place!
No table booked here in Keswick but staff accomadated us and the food was very tasty and had a little spice.
Outstanding food from a varied menu. Great service; staff were attentive without being intrusive. Very much looking forward to going back again next time we are in Keswick.
Absolutely delicious food with really great staff who are genuinely welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended!
This place is dynamite. I had the vegetarian chili, and it was simply delicious. My wife had the lamb tagine, and it was terrific. Whats more, the service was first rate, served by people who were enthusiastic and warm. This is a fine restaurant, and I highly recommend it.
This place is fantastic. The decor is chic and modern and the staff is kind, helpful, and attentive. We got the beef chili and the steak. Both were flavorful and memorable. Drinks were also mostly local beers and unique wines. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice calming warm meal in Keswick
+ Top class service + Food was great (tried the prawns, beef chilli and the feta dip) + Ambience was good
Great welcome and front of house. Interesting cocktail selection and superb food.
Nice and fresh food with ample vegetarian options and gets 3.5 stars for me. My cauliflower carbonara was good but needed a bit of salt and final seasoning. I was not impressed with the sticky toffee pudding- it felt like the spices hadn t been grinder enough so the texture felt grainy. Everyone else loved their mains although I think the meat dishes looked more interesting
Absolutely superb food and bar. Very highly recommend
Had an amazing 3 course meal here. Service was great, food was tasty with good veggie options and the restaurant was nicely decorated. Would happily return! Also a big fan of the sister restaurant The Round...
Great decor, atmosphere and friendly staff. We had dinner here and the food was amazing. Meat was so tender and succulent and flavours were great, the focaccia to start was great too. As were the cocktails. Would definitely revisit.
Beautifully decorated restaurant. Good menu. Had a vegetarian meal, a dahl. This one is incredibly tasty. Dessert, the sticky toffee pudding: 5 stars. If you are in Keswick you should definitely eat here.
What a fantastic place. The staff were excellent, the service spot on - not too pushy but aware of your needs. The set out of the place is really well thought out, we had a placing in the bay window which was a superb touch. The food was great, good portions and something different, I can thoroughly recommend the tagline as main and the hummus to start with the gooseberry crumble and ginger ice cream to finish. I cant recommend Fellpack enough, I will certainly return!
Excellent!!!!
We arrived quite late but the staff were more than welcoming. We were served quickly and the food was very good. I recommend without hesitation.
Brilliant vegan options - food was amazing!
Beef chili, focaccia and dessert were very good. Very limited cocktails though. (To be fair, I m not sure you can get a traditional cocktail any place in Keswick.)
Wonderful food and flavors, nice ambiance. Vegetarian options: Veggie options available, vegan upon request for some vegetarian dishes. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available.
We really enjoyed our meals with friends [be sure to book]. We are vegetarian and had a great choice, the food was delicious, so much so, we went twice while on holiday in the Lakes for a week. By far the best food we have had in Keswick and not too pricey. You ll love it no more rough pub-grub, life s too short! so go and enjoy the quality food. Thank you so much we will come again when in the area. Warm wishes to the team. Lyndon & Peter / Paul & Sue.
Friendly and attentive service, delicious food and great atmosphere.
Frankly one of the best meals of my life. I ordered dahl but what I got was surprising, tasty, well thought-out with just a fabulous mix of textures in the mouth. Very impressive.
Delicious food, good people. I especially loved the Seoul Fries.
Thanks, this was a wonderful find when we were on holiday last year so good we visited several times, we came up for a few days later in the year, visiting again, so this year although staying in Windermere we took a bus trip to Keswick one of the reasons to go was to get one of the wonderful burritos. I can certainly recommend any of the things they do its all wonderful
Excellent place for dinner, great range of beverages, amazing Spanish food and nice hosts. Will be back for sure
Overpriced but not stupidly overpriced (you should see the other places), pulled pork dish was exquisite, barbeque chicken less so -just a chicken leg with barbeque sauce on top
Attentive service, great selection of drinks and a varied menu - something for everyone! Vegetarian options: A few great options for a vegetarian to choose from!
Vegetarian options: Unique vegetarian dishes made out of vegetables, legumes, nuts, and greens. Food
Good cake and very nice coffee. The food served at the tables around us also looked very good
Food is fantastic, one of the best places in Keswick with tasty, good and healthier foods. Drinks are great too, and some interesting well made desserts.
Amazing food, lovey atmosphere, couldnt fault it
Great wee bistro. Fabulous tasty fresh made food and had excellent service too. The young waitress who served us was bubbly chatty and really nice. The bistro itself was spotless well worth a visit if you are in keswick
If you fancy treating yourself to a high quality menu and experience then the Fellpack is worth a visit. Do book well in advance. Theres lots of lovely places to eat and drink in Keswick but this venue has to be one to treat yourself to.
This is an excellent place in Keswick, which is probably why it is often full. Reservations are therefore a must. Lets start with the only downside I can think of, you have to provide credit card details to confirm your reservation. Personally, I dont like doing that. Otherwise we had a wonderful evening. Starting with the friendly welcome, the delicious cocktail (the mule) and the spicy shrimps as a starter. The pulled pork bao buns as a main course and this was also a hit. We got carried away with all the goodies and decided to have dessert. The chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream is great. The Fenpack provided us with a very successful evening, thanks to the great service and the design of the place. Keep up the good work! Parking: Paid parking spaces around the city
Normal restaurant but exceptional for the English, who eat horribly. Strange combinations in the same dish and a sacrilege of seafood paella, with sauce, sausage and peas!
Food was very good. We were a little disappointed at the service though. Left waiting for ages to order drinks, to get a menu, to clear plates etc. Wouldn t come again despite the food.
Lovely
Good choice for gluten free. Nice decor and friendly staff. My only complaint would be that we had to wait a while at the door before anyone showed us to our table.
Love this place! We went here multiple nights. The food is delicious, lots of hearty options, as well as lots of vegan options. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is lovely and welcoming. Hard to get a table if you don t have a reservation and we know why.
Amazing food and staff. The Dahl is incredible
Amazing food and the service was great would recommend to anyone passing by
Wonderful restaurant in downtown Keswick. The menu list is short but has something for everyone, and the food is beyond delicious (portion size is accurate too). We visited at dinner (recommend booking as the place is understandably busy) and ordered the Lamb Tagline & Cauliflower Carbonara, and Basque cheesecake. Atmosphere and service was just nice, hope we could return for one more visit before we are off Lake district.
There arent too many restaurants that my family of four have been to that leaves everyone completely satisfied. Four devine starters and four delicious bowls of food (only one had room for dessert!)! A great selection of drinks (including Mocktails that the kids fell in love with) topped by wonderful service. Fellpack, youre our favourite!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, recommending me a delicious lamb taginr. Every dish was exquisite. The table on the window was intimate and perfect for a nice intimate dinner. Even their mocktails are great. Very nice vasque style cheesecake. Being a dish from my country I had plenty of them and this one was particularly good with the bitter touch to compensate for the cheesecake sweetness. A favourite in Keswick!
We didnt reserve, but they offered us a drink outside while we waited. It only took 20 minutes to get a table. The food was tasty and the staff was very friendly!
We booked in as a party of 10 on a Friday evening. The whole experience was excellent, service, atmosphere, food and location. We enjoyed it that much that we came back on the Sunday for Sunday lunch which again was excellent. Highly recommended- also dog friendly.
Great vegan options

Great place for a meal. Staff is laid back in good agreement with the great atmosphere. Must admit that, on this summery day, some added ventilation would be a good improvement. Nevertheless, the meal was great and service was very efficient, on point with a short waiting time.
We both had the vegan chilli and dahl was absolutely delicious. Lovely spot for a drink and nice meal. Nice atmosphere in a beautiful town. Staff very friendly, quick and very attentive. Will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: Vegan options delicious
Not being that guy but I spend a lot of time on Mayfair restaurants. this place is a little corker, cant go wrong
A little gem in the heart of Keswick. Excellent cuisine and an extraordinary welcome (in French :)). Don t hesitate to book, it fills up quickly.
Food cooked to perfection, staff friendly, service good, also dog friendly which was important to us.
Great food and staff. Definitely return when in Keswick Food
Food - fabulous! Service - very friendly and helpful! Would definitely return! But book in advance, can get very busy! Food : 5/5
Firstly, the service was very good. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was presented beautifully but ultimately it was bland. It was a big shame as when I came to Fellpack in 2018 the food was memorably excellent. I was excited to come back but was left disappointed. I had the lamb tagine as this was recommended by the staff. It was the most flavourful of the three dishes but still lacked any real punch and depth of seasoning. We sat as a large group but we were split over two tables. This was fine as they forewarned us. However, the second smaller tables food came out a lot later, even though some of the dishes were the same. It felt like we had been forgotten about or theyd submitted the order on two tickets and not specified we were the same group. Either way, it was a poor show. Overall, excellent service but its a big shame the quality of food has declined.
More often than not disappointed when have Sunday lunch out, not at the fellpack, probably the best Ive ever had! Roasties crispy, Yorkshire pud light, meat (pork belly and beef) tender, greens with garlic - very tasty. Cocktails were great too.
Menu evolves so always something interesting to choose from and of course lovely flavours. Staff are a credit and always easy to engage.
amazing food and staff. the music playing and the string light decor were nice touches that created a very lovely atmosphere.
Superb meal last night. Lovely staff.. Highly recommended.
Great and a little quirky. Thanks to all concerned
Very nice and friendly, excellent food
A great Sunday roast in Keswick. Good quick service.
Fancy, light-weight dishes. Unbalanced taste, the products may be fresh and of good quality, but style over substance definitely prevails. Nice service.
Great food and chilled vibe.
the food was excellent as was the service and the restaurant was lovely nothing more to say other than to say the owners have got this right.
Would never have found this place, or looked to eat here if it werent for the recommendation from our hotel. The food was unreal. I had the fishcakes from the autumn menu and my word were they tasty and filling! The staff were excellent and attentive, some friends had booked for a similar time as us and they accommodated us brilliantly by sitting us together. I will certainly look forward to eating here again.
This was the first time I visited the new restaurant after having been a regular customer at the original Fellpack. The service was great but unfortunately the food lacked flavour. It is good to see that Fellpack offer a range of vegan options but the vegan chilli was one dimensional and dry. I asked why the avocado cream was missing from this dish and was told that it was not vegan. It would be easy to make a vegan avocado cream or guacamole or to add some sliced avocado as the dish previously used to include. I do not feel it is satisfactory just to leave an element out, especially when it would have balanced the dish. I also had a small portion of chilli and more quinoa. I was disappointed as this meal was for a special occasion. I appreciate that as a business you need to evolve but I felt that the larger restaurant lacked the soul, charm and intimacy which made the original venue so special.
The food at Fellpack was phenomenal. Filling but not bloating. The service and atmosphere were brilliant. Attentive friendly staff members and a general buzz in the whole place. We hadnt booked, but that did not deter the front of house we were ushered in as a table would be free soon. This is the place to go when youre in Keswick!
We had a fantastic meal at this great restaurant last night. The staff were so friendly and relaxed but attentive and present. The atmosphere is great without too much noise but a good hum of enjoyment. The food was magnificent and amazingly delicious and also very reasonably priced. We really couldn t fault the place. A credit to the owners and staff. This is what hospitality looks like when it s done well. Thank you Fellpack. We ll be back!!
Super friendly staff made a lone diner feel very welcome. Plusher than a pub, but still felt unpretentious. Great food too. The pear, maple and pecan crumble with custard was delicious!
Had one of the best Sunday roasts weve had in a long time, great vegan option too. Highly recommended
Great tasty food excellent service and atmosphere
Super lovely meal out. Very much enjoyed the vibe, chill and minimalist, but cozy. Dog-friendly. Exciting menu options with plenty for vegetarians and gluten free options. Highlights were the negroni (just perfect) and the mulled fig sauce on the cheesecake. My cauliflower schwarma didnt have a lot of flavour, which was a bit disappointing, but it was definitely edible and wouldnt put me off going back and trying something else. My partner had the mushroom ragu and absolutely raved about it. The folks serving were so efficient and kind. I would recommend a night out at the Fellpack based on them alone. Vegetarian options: Creative. Not your typical were trying to do vegetarian fare of mushroom risotto.
We went to the Fellpack on Saturday. We booked - good job as it was heaving. Service is vey good even though it is busy. Plenty of staff and all the ones we spoke to were very friendly. I usually hate busy places as I cant here what people are saying at my table but it wasnt a problem in this place. Pigs in blankets starter was very nice. I went for the Roast Parsnip for main (Im not vegetarian - just wanted something different). I was not disappointed. I think this is new on the menu and it had lots of interesting elements. I would highly recommend that. Good cocktails too - Spiced Apple very festive.
Five stars says it all, just great
Great food.
Perfect. Exceptional service, excellent food cocktails and a great atmosphere.
First time at Fellpack having walked by dozens of times, wish Id eaten here earlier. Really good, well prepared dishes and a balanced thoughtful menu. The staff team are fantastic too, genuinely friendly and welcoming, lovely people. Will be back.
Ate here for my partners 27th. Atmosphere is very cosy and warm, feels like being back in Ireland in the close-knit pubs and restaurants there. Service was impeccable, servers were very friendly, food came out fast and tasted fantastic. Very well priced with quick service and great food. We will definitely visit again when in Keswick.
