The woman who serves is rude and abrupt, doesnt listen when order is given, I used to eat there 4 or 5 days a week, not anymore, the last order of Chicken was raw in the miðdle.

Ive recently started going back to Sammys, its been 15 or more years since Ive been there last. I cant say enough good things - the portions, quality and price are all 5 star and the family is very kind! Its my 3 year old sons new favorite place to eat lol

This is the second time we have eaten here since the new owners have taken over. Fabulous!! The food is excellent. It is hot and tastes delicious. I would highly recommend the food here. Ribs are tender, chicken is juicy and not dried out and the Roast beef melts in your mouth. The customer service is excellent and we are happy to say we will be repeat, frequent customers!

Unfortunately not the same since previous owners left. Quality of food has gone down. Ordered burger and lasagna had to throw it out. Ground beef tasted like it had gone bad and beef was raw in the lasagna. Very disappointing!

It is always a joy and a delightful experience to go to Sammys for a nice meal. You couldnt order a bad meal from here even if you tried. The ribs, the chicken, shawarma, lasagna, anything at all, it is made on site and is full of flavor. Price is very reasonable; the new owners are supper friendly and welcoming. Most recently I took my Mom here on NYE for dinner, and we both enjoyed our meals and the service very much. As always, I will be back again in the future. If you have not been to Sammys Chicken Coop before, you cant go wrong by going in and checking it out for the 1st time. Five stars all the way around.

Ordered our Christmas dinner from Sammys and all that recieved it fully enjoyed it, and I mean lots of food. Wife and I stopped into the restaurant last night I had lasgna wife had the best hearty chicken soup a meal it its self. Owners and staff so friendly even refused tip, but they got one, then packed a dessert for wife to take home, a great experiance, really nice family. Check them out, you wont be disappointed.

Haven t been here in a while but after reading the reviews, I need to make a trip back to Keswick asap. Sammy s Chicken Coop serves up delicious homemade meals in a quick serve setting. Their lasagna and chicken are great. Need to try their roast beef. Eva and her team work so hard and put so much care into their food, you can really taste the difference.

Smells & looks good from the outside but dry on the inside. Swish chalet ribs/chicken & grocery store rotisserie is better.

Please keep the chicken sharwma the same as it was before. Tried the new version and rice was plain and sauce tasted so different, not for the better. Our family use to go there once a week, now unfortunately with this change will not be. :( keep the same receipe please! Reply to review: I have had the chicken sharwma from here pretty much wvey week for over a year and it definitely was not the same unfortunately. Plus the rice usually was yellow rice and this was just plain white rice with no flavor. And the red sauce I guess the hot sauce tasted completely different not for the good. I was disappointed as I am a huge fan of this plate. I will try again and hopefully rice the rice and red sauce is back to orginal.

There is no better place in town to get take away. The food is good warm home made recipes. Good value for money too.

New owner, changes. I have been ordering hot wings there for years! They changed the hot wing sauce and now uneatable. She promised to give a credit next time I go in. But if they change one thing there will be more changes! My husband had Lasagna and it was all mushy, the salad was no where as good as it used to be also! Bye Bye Sammy s!

First time eating here and it did not disappoint!! Ordered the rotisserie chicken meal for delivery and everything was fantastic!! The fries were crispy, the chicken moist, the gravy was thick and delicious and the coleslaw was the best I ve ever had!! Will definitely be going back!

This was my chicken burger burnt as hell. For 90 dollars with of food it was mediocre at best..portions are on the smaller side . Fries were good.

Not the same anymore

Very nice new owners, but the food isnt the same, from the portion size and the quality. The Sharma plate used to feed 2, now this is not the case. The famous rice is now a tomato coloured little flavoured mess. The Greek salad was watered down and unfortunately I will not be returning to my once go to place. But this is my opinion.

I was grateful that I finally found a restaurant that makes home made food that tastes like my grandmothers home style cooking. I definitely wont cook anymore and order from Sammys Chicken Coop from now on. Thank you for the delicious food.

Update: went back to Sammys to order some other food this time. Their Mac n Cheese is really good and the ribs are as good as when they were under original ownership. Just went to Sammys tonight (under new ownership) ordered a hamburger for $8.99 and it wasn t even cooked all the way through. Just gross. I ll never order that again. I can just buy a pack of frozen burgers for that price and make sure my own burger is cooked thoroughly. Or make my own from scratch better than this. OLD REVIEW: (I couldn t even tell you the number of times we grab dinner from here. We love Sammy s Chicken Coop. It s a small family run business with some of the best dinner options in town! I highly recommend! =D)

Awesome food

My partner and I just finished enjoying a great meal from this establishment. I had the ribs with the veggies, mashed potatoes / gravy. The meal was incredibly delicious and the BBQ sauce on the ribs was excellent! My partner had the roast chicken with the veggies, Greek salad and mashed potatoes. She also enjoyed her meal very much. We will be coming back here for future meals.

Everything was beyond what I expected - the service, the flavour, the quality and value for what we paid. Not to mention hygiene and cleanliness. We are regulars here. Can t recommend Sammy more! Thank you for keeping our tummies and spirits happy!

Sammys catered a party I had this weekend. The roast beef was amazing. Tender, melt in your mouth and flavorful. The lasagna was delicious and the greek salad was fresh and loaded with toppings. The servings are generous alleviating any worry of not having enough food. The staff are very communicative, and accommodating. The price was very competitive. I recommend this business and restaurant to everyone.

Absolutely terrible, first they forgot half my order when I picked it up so I had to dive back and get that with no gratuity and then the gravy was so burnt it was Unedible, the vegetables were cold, potatoes so watery you couldnt even eat them... I used to love this place but it is absolute GARBAGE,will never return

Just mentioning Sammys makes my mouth water. We usually order one of the family meals which includes ribs, wings, chicken, fries, onion rings, salad, gravy and chicken sauce. I absolutely love the fries and gravy. I add some ketchup to the mix and Im in heaven. The ribs, wings and chicken are delicious as well. We always enjoy our meals from Sammys. I will definitely be returning.

I first ordered for pick up a few weeks ago and had the chicken and salad, delicious. While picking up my order I saw the hot table and realized I MUST try this one day. Had a chicken greek salad and the roast beef dinner for my husband. It was amazing. Super fresh, yummy, homestyle meals, clean, fast service. Definitely recommend.

I wasnt impress with the food. Had the roast beef with rice and vegetables. Thee beef was dry and the rice was tasteless. Vegetables were not fresh, they were overcooked.

Tried Sammys for the first time the other day. I was looking for some good homemade food that was quick and affordable and it was fantastic! I love the hot plate nature of the place, get it and get out with a few meals for a good price. My favourites are the Shepards Pie and Roast Beef. You pay fast food prices for good home cooking and I think you cant ask for better than that.

Been present in Keswick for decades. Probably some of the most wholesome and great tasting food in town. Price comparable to other restaurants. Difference is quantity and quality. Hot plate buffet allows for quick orders and fast take out. But dine in as well. Ribs are the best in town in my opinion. Burgers are fantastic. Greek selection as well! Plus family meals for larger orders. Delivery available. Check it out for yourself.

Amazing quality food for the price. I ordered a ribs and chicken combo for 15$ with vegetables and I must say I was blown away. The quality of the food was phenomenal. The ribs were tender and fell of the bone. The chicken was juicy and also tender. This place is a must try.

This place is awesome. However, they will randomly close for weeks at a time and this will not be reflected on google. For example, google shows it as open but there is a sign up at the restaurant saying it is closed until mid-January. Hopefully this will save people time at least until mid-January.

Everything is homemade and delicious! The ribs really hit the spot when in the mood for something hardy.

My first time there waited 45 minutes for my $15 meal.All the customers were complaining about the hour wait . The staff was just miserable ! Not a single person got a apologie about the wait ! The next time I go there! Oh wait there wont be a next time no food is worth that service! And by the way the food is nothing special. Way to many 5 stars on the reviews for this place
