30 Montreal St, Kingston, ON K7L 3G6, Canada
Unfussy, family-owned nook offering sizable portions of classic Thai, Vietnamese & Cambodian dishes.
Each meal at Wok In is a generous two portions, but more realistically three normal sized portions. The food is actually spicy and so flavourful. This is the kind of locally owned mom-and-pop establishment I’m happy to support. There are only two people taking orders and making the food, so it will take a while. And they only take cash, some come prepared.
Truly the best Cambodian food I've ever had, prepared by a lovely couple. I don't live in Kingston, but will make trips just for Wok-In and now my friends and family do the same. Make sure you order at least 2 spring rolls per person, because you are going to eat one and wish you had another for the next day (or eat two at once--they're huge but no judgement!). No matter what you order, it will be delicious and you'll have plenty of leftovers. They always provide plenty of rice for saucy dishes and lots of sweet & sour peanut sauce for spring rolls and some other dishes. I love the banhxeo, pad thai, red and green curries, and I've tried a few other items that have been incredible too. One day I'll have tried the entire menu. Prices are great and don't say otherwise lol. If you want, you can order 20 chicken mcnuggets from you know where for $18 instead (+ $3 if you want a drink to compliment the salt and grease), eat them all at once and feel sad about the world, be hungry 2 hours later, and not have leftovers for 1-2 days--like you will have at Wok-In!
I've been a customer for 30 years. Same menu. Only one item I believe was taken off. You can have the same menu for over 30 years and still have that business running and is successful as it is. That is nearly impossible. After I move from Kingston I moved close to Ottawa and I would drive to Kingston the 2-hour drive with no hesitation and only to go to Work In. Not for any other purpose. Chris has brought so much joy to so many people and especially myself and that's very difficult to do for so long! This is the kind of place where you find your favorite dish and you can go back everyday every other day every week month and get the same dish and it'd still be amazing every time. That also is a very difficult thing to achieve! Consistency is key in any business and Wok in has achieved this almost impossible feat! But just remember it's only he and his wife and it's a small place so be respectful because if you want fast food go to McDonald's if you want great food as fast as they can do. Just for you. Have some respect. They're not putting anything into a microwave. And it is what it is. And for me it's perfect!! And once it's gone it will never be duplicated ever! Congratulations!!
Best pad thai ever. Been coming back for years! We like it even more than the pad thai we had in Thailand. Other items on menu are delicious too. Small dining space, so we always call to takeout. Nicest couple who run this restaurant also.
Incredible Cambodian and Thai food! We ordered #1 red chicken curry and #2 chicken and pineapple. Both dishes came with cooked chicken breast. The red chicken curry was some of the best red curry we have ever had. The #2 chicken and pineapple had tomatoes, cilantro and a well-balanced flavourful sauce that I practically drank! We can't wait to try more dishes! Cash only, take-out only.
One of Kingston's hidden gems! Wok-In has a small storefront but has the best Thai/Cambodian food in town. The owners are so sweet & their portions are big! Very fair pricing but limited seating
Absolutely fantastic! A little hole in the wall on Montreal with the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The owners are husband and wife and incredibly friendly, they do all the work themselves and it’s truly amazing. Their pad Thai is hands down the best in Kingston, and certainly the best I’ve ever had. But if you’re not into that they have a wide variety of various curries and other dishes. The portions are very large and you’re definitely going to get a lot of value out of the meal. Would highly recommend stopping here whether you live in Kingston or are just traveling through.
There was an entire story in the Globe and Mail about the Cambodian food in Kingston and how good it is. This restaurant tops the mountain. I will have memories of this place for the rest of my life. Get the Bahnxeo; such a unique flavour. They also have the best (fried) spring rolls I've had anywhere.
Cash only, doesnt even take Interac. Take out only. Disappointed didnt get to try.
Highly recommend! We got the #1 and #18 and both were delicious with very generous portion sizes.
Best food in town. Chris and Sam always have great service. Highly recommend the spring rolls for each order, they cant be beat! Food
Best pad thai I have ever had!
This is one of our favorite places to order food and has been for over 20 years. Every time, it is consistently excellent food, and we order whenever were in Kingston.
Amazing food and service! The #5 and spring rolls is a feast!
One of the best meals Ive had anywhere.
Great food. Not just great. Fantastic. The spring rolls are like nothing I have ever had, anywhere. All the dishes are not notch. The owners are the loveliest people in the world. Been going here for many many years.
I had the biggest portion but the noodles and chicken was unfortunately dry
I understand that the prices have gone up but as someone who eats regular portions, I found that I was already full when I ate only half of the portion. I saved it the next day and it still tasted good (I ordered the Pad Thai) If you eat regular portions or smaller portions this is still a pretty good deal if you like to save your food for later !
Best spring rolls ever! Pad thai was delicious and can easily be split between two people and still have leftovers. Highly recommend!
A simple review: best Pad Thai in Kingston.
Large sizes! I recommend calling in then picking up to save time!
I had the red curry chicken and it was great. Perfectly spiced, smooth creamy texture, generous portion. Run by a pleasant family that make you feel welcomed. Definitely recommend if you are in Kingston.
I had to pay in cash, I couldn t eat inside, And waited an hour and 15 minutes for my food and i would do it again. These guys might have the best food in Kingston. The prices at first seem steep, until you get your food and realize that the portion size is good enough for two or three meals. The owners are the bomb, the kitchen looks super clean. They have spent absolutely no resources on any of the bells and whistles, and strictly focused on the food. It s definitely paid off.
Best Cambodian Food Ive ever had. 10 Year Customer and have never had a Bad Experience. Best Spring Rolls around also. Huge Portion Sizes and Always Fresh. Call Ahead as this place is BUSY and Cash only.
Kingston has a lot of SE Asian food. This is my favourite. The food is outrageously good. Large portions. Diverse menu. Try their spring rolls. A real gem.
Delicious!! I drive 3.5 hours to order banhxeo. Always worth the drive!!
Amazing food, great service Been going here for years. Food : 5/5
Weve been going to the Walk-in for over a decade. No matter where I have traveled, this Thai food is the BEST! People talk about the atmosphere but to be honest, its fitting for the unassuming place it is. Its by far one of the greatest gems in Kingston and I will continue to eat there (crave it actually) and visit the beautiful couple that own and run it
Got the green curry after seeing it recommended so many times and WOW it absolutely knocked my socks off.
Extremely good and they don t skimp on portions either. 1 order of anything could easily feed 2
Stumbled upon this amazing place while looking for a late night meal during our visit to Kingston. The meals were fantastic, portions very generous and great price. The staff were friendly and helpful in choosing a few dishes to try. Would come back next time we are in town. Cash only, so be prepared for that.
Name-name-name. nuff said.
Amazing food 10/10 recommend
The number 9 at Wok-In is the best meal in Kingston. We ve been to Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos, and can say this is as good if not better than anything we ve had while we were there. This is a family owned restaurant that really deserves all the praise in the other reviews.
Best spring rolls Ive had
The amount of food is huge and the taste is not bad. But the restaurant was so messy and dirty that I couldnt trust the food Only take-out and cash are available.
Quite honestly, this place offers some wonderfully delicious Cambodian dishes at - what used to be - equally amazing prices. My wife and I used to drop by on a regular to enjoy the succulent food. However, their new policies are now keeping us away. Take-out only, ever since Covid, and their prices have doubled (the single $ category no longer applies here). Wok In is no longer the treasure it used to be. Its glory days are sadly over, and I, for one, will miss them. If dine-in tables returned, and prices came back down to Earth, Id return in a heartbeat.
Authentic excellent food. Very nice couple. Only problem is waiting time but worth it.
I ve been coming here for years. My fiancé had never been, so I mentioned how good it was. We ordered pick up for dinner tonight. Number 2 and 9 with spring rolls. Fantastic, friendly service. The food AMAZING! You can tell they take pride in preparing these authentic meals. My other half couldn t believe how good it was. We can t wait to order again!
Best ive had in Kingston. Delicious! And get a spring roll, they are unique and amazing!
Best Thai food in Kingston!
A terrific restaurant for take out. Very generous portions of absolutely delicious, flavourful food! A real Kingston gem! Vegetarian options: Great fried tofu as an alternative to meat unlike most tofu options which just disintegrate into the dish, the fried tofu has integrity which keeps it as an ingredient, rather than a white block that just disappears,
Really good pad thai with a very cute presentation. Also the chicken with red curry was very tasty. Will be going back!
Great food, prices are high but I suppose you get what you pay for. Would be nice if they put some love or thought into sprucing the place up a bit but whatever. The food is what matters and it s very good, just very pricey as well. I do miss, as someone who grew up here, the prices of old (<$10). inflation economics I guess..
Big portions. Cash only. Overall kind of average.
I eat here once a week. I love it.
Oh what a pleasure
My go-to spot for Cambodian food in Kingston.
authentic and delicious food. Have tried most of the menu, fav dishes are #1 and #5. Spring rolls are handmade and to die for. Note: Cash only. Overall, place is a hidden gem
Delicious Asian cuisine / hidden gem.
Visiting from Toronto and wasnt expecting such a great dish. The curry is great. The ingredients are fresh. The owner was affable and humble. HIDDEN GEM. Thanks for the meal! Portions are dope too.
I went today ordered 10 pad thai. Great to know the quality of the food has not gone down in the last decade and is still as good now as it was 10 years ago.
Best curries and pad Thai in Kingston! Portions are a really good size. Owned and operated by an older couple that cook all of the meals themselves. Cash only, not open for dine in during the pandemic. Better to order ahead of time.
Delicious food! Lovely staff! Great hospitality!
Wokd-in having never experienced Cambodian cuisine and wokd-out a changed man. The dreary cold of the Eastern Ontario winter faded away as I was transported to the lush landscapes of the Orient. An explosion of rarefied flavour in the embouchure, delightful chewiness of the shrimp (picked menu option 3), and preposterously pleasant aftertaste. Will indubitably be returning
Fantastic. Highly recommend.
Great portions, delicious meals. Would recommend and will return.
Simply the best Cambodian/Thai food in Kingston. Nothing else comes close.
Delicious and healthy!!
Maybe the best restaurant ever
My wife and I have been going to the Wok In for many years. We love the noodles with Vietnamese pork. I usually get a spring roll chopped in as well with extra hot sauce. It makes for a delicious meal. The prices are reasonable, the food is fresh and the service friendly. The Wok In is a family run restaurant with Chris and his wife doing all the cooking. You can t go wrong eating at the Wok In. It is home cooked food at its best.
The best food I ve ever had in my entire life, and I am hard to please ! Lol. I crave their spring rolls every day. (To die for) I also love that it s a small family run shop. Seriously, order here and you will not be disappointed ! If you choose something spicy, it s actually spicy, and packed with flavour. Unlike some other Cambodian/Thai choices where you have to explain you want it to be authentically HOT. I can tell the attention and care that goes into making the food! Huge portions, and my 4 and 2 year old even ate the Pad Thai. I can t wait to try more things from here. Ordered awhile back now, but I was unable to post a review at the time. And I am happy I was able to now! Just grateful that places like this exist.
The best restaurant in Kingston, the sweetest couple and every dish is made fresh to order, well worth the wait.
The Wok-in is my favorite place, I always have a lovely conversation with the couple that owns the place, if you cant get ahold of the, please go in there is a good reason they cant answer the phone right now, there is 2 people, busy making food, I ALWAYS get the phad thai they make the best I have ever had anywhere and believe me, Ive tried to find places out of town... they dont take debit or credit, I usually order in store and go for a walk to withdraw money and come back along the water front and then up, overall the experience is what you make it, I love it, they dont update because they dont have to, they are that good, what fix what isnt broken...?
Really delicious, home cooked food with large portions of fresh vegetables and quality meat. Its a true hidden gem of Kingston, and provides one of the best value meals in the city. A must try. Ive found one serving is large enough for multiple meals.
Take away only, cash only Too elitist for us to enter disappointed
This is my new favourite place . I d eat the spring rolls everyday if I could . Amazing flavours , friendly service and huge portions . Don t wok, run to try it for yourself!
The owners / workers are rude and disrespectful. The food takes over 45 minutes for two Pad Thai s & it s not even worth it. Oh, and they will deliberately not answer the phone. 10 other better places in Kingston for this type of food.
The food is literally always so good. I m rarely disappointed. Their spring rolls are big and filling and very crispy. Their Pad Thai is the best. Their other menu items are also good! They make everything to order so it s always fresh too. Just make sure to bring cash!
Delicious take-out food!! Will be returning. Staff was also very friendly and welcoming.
Just amazing! The best I ever had
Get the #9, it s incredible. Also the couple that run this place are so nice.
Service was really nice, always loved these hole in the wall kinda places. Food was absolutely amazing, hella flavour as well. Gonna try to go through the entire menu lol
I ate here almost everyday during grad school and I still dream about it. I don t live in Kingston anymore but would go back just for their green curry. Sigh. I wish the had a recipe book!
The green curry is so good.
One of the best (and cheapest) takeout restaurants in town. Im pretty sure Ive gained 10 pounds from the spring rolls alone, and I recommended ordering a couple extra of them.
Only masterpiece dishes are crafted here. Their menu is solid from top to bottom - reasonable prices, flavourful, and large portions. My go-to is the pad Thai. Hands down best pad Thai Ive eaten in this country. I can split one order over three meals, and when youre a student, this goes a long way. The other Thai/Cambodian restaurants in Kingston cant compete - I wish the owners would adopt me into their family so I can eat Wok-In food every day.
We ordered hot chicken curry with rice and shrimp in coconut milk gravy with rice. Both were delicious and had a homely taste. Hot curry was really spicy, not recommended for children. Packaging for take out was impressive. There was 30min waiting time, so you may order in advance and pick up later. Parking on road side is limited. The couple running the shop are very hospitable. Reasonable pricing is one of the most attractive things.
One of the best spots for good food in Kingston. Portions are huge and prices are good. However, it is CASH ONLY. But definitely worth it! Love this place!
Such amazing food. Great service and huge portions for a great price. All time favourite for sure
Great Cambodian, Thai, and Vietnamese food at affordable price and huge portions.
We travel to Vietnam and Cambodia frequently and the food here is the best. It s a small place - 5 tables - and everything is made to order. The quality and consistency are unbeatable. There are a few Thai, a few Vietnamese and a few Cambodian dishes. All are perfectly made with nuanced flavours. My favourite is no. 13, Country chicken but I ve never had anything I didn t love. Don t miss this place.
You must try their spring rolls! Soooooo good!!!!
Absolutely delicious pad thai!
Best place. Fresh and yummy food. All the dishes are best.
An absolute hidden gem. Do not be dissuaded by the outside, Wok-In really is that good. Portions are massive, the food is absolutely delicious and SO flavorful, and the owners are the kindest people around. This is exactly the kind of restaurant I try once and want to keep supporting. My favorites are #1, #8, and the spring rolls, but I have so much more to try.
22 years ago we were told Wok In was one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the city. We thought so then, and after our recent visit today, nothing has changed! The food is fresh, full of flavour and you get a great portion size, The red and green curry dishes were fantastic as was the Pad Thai. During COVID, best way to order is to go to the restaurant, order in person, then return to pick up it hot and fresh.
Best Thai and Cambodian Restaurant ever!
Came here once and was pleasantly surprised - Ordered Pad Thai and got a huge plate of food, enough to take home for later. I dont normally like shrimp, but somehow this place made it work for me. Its absolutely tiny, but they work with the space they have. Glad to see that its getting the attention and positive reviews it deserves.
Amazzzing spring rolls and love the sauce!
#1, best curry going! Love this place. Every time my family travels to Kingston we stop here.
The food was very good! But we found a little bit too spicy for our taste.
The best Thai food, in Kingston , each order made fresh ,large portions great food ,good price. Friendly , Great service ,100 stars
I ordered a very large order for my family. Everything was delicious. My daughter and son-in-law have been ordering since they were at Queen s. They married in 2003 and moved away. We visited and brought the meal with us. Wok-in prepared it so that we just had to heat the food and eat. 8 orders and 2 dozen spring rolls. They were so happy! And again, the food was so good!
Best. Springrolls. Ever.
Best place for Thai/Cambodian food ive ever had. The hours are a little strange, but worth it. Great price, like $15 per person for a very big meal. Spring rolls are a must and about 2 bucks each. Also dont bother calling ahead, you need to go in to place your order.
huge quantity and amazing flavor. Never had pad thai this way. Love it
So good!
Incredible food and consistent quality for decades!! Pad Thai is addictive!
Some meals have been quite salty but still delicious. The pad thai is consistently the BEST in KINGSTON!!
Best food in town!
I found out about this restaurant when I was living in Kingston almost 15 years ago, and while I have tried pad thai at many other restaurants in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, Ive never found anything quite like the delicious pad thai served here. Any time Im back in the area, I will make a special trip for this pad thai! I love the low fuss vibes and the uncompromising food. The portions are great and the owners are always friendly and welcoming. Thank you!
The best Pad Thai in town and its a huuuge portion.
One of my favourite places to eat at whenever Im in Kingston. This local family run restaurant always has huge portions and a smiling face (under their masks) to greet you. Their spring rolls are always on point. For the price you pay youll always be filled and have leftovers. The pad Thai is slightly different than your normal as its a recipe thats been in their family for ages.
Best food ever
Absolutely delicious food. We came from out of town and stumbled upon this place by accident (dont be fooled by the hidden exterior!), and are so glad we did. The place itself is very clean, and serviced by a very sweet and attentive couple. The food is super affordable and so good; flavours are perfectly balanced and portions are generous. We ordered items #1 and #15. Definitely recommend- would give extra stars if I could.
Perfect! Food was amazing, got #1 and #4. The people running the restaurant are very friendly, and the food is home made. Prices are reasonable also. Excellent Cambodian and Vietnamese food at a good price, will definitely be going back! Notes: Only accept cash (no debt or credit), must walk in to order (wok-in), 2 person team (sometimes can be slow), setup for takeout (not dine-in)
Tip: call ahead and pick up in person, will save you a lot of time. Pad Thai was amazing, reason for the 4 stars is the shrimp curry. Rice was undercooked and the shrimp curry was nothing special for its price. Will go back to try some of their other foods as well but the curry was disappointing.
The food here is phenomenal with huge portions and friendly owners. I would highly recommend the #9, but everything else Ive had here has been great as well. Just make sure to call ahead and keep in mind they only take cash.
The best.
Gotta love this ma and Pa shop...fresh ingredients, delicious flavour combinations, generous portions.
I discovered this place in my late teens when attending school in Kingston 1999. I return EVERY chance I get, even if I live 5 hours away. It may take years between visits but the quality and flavor are always the same. This place is an absolute gem. I craved their food throughout both my pregnancies and begged friends to come visit to bring me a #1 with tofu.
Big Portions for a reasonable price. Come early because it fills up quick. Best Curry + Rice that Ive had in the city
food is off-the-chain. Havent eaten anything here that I didnt love. Only problem is you need to go either when it first opens or at a time when it wont be busy otherwise you will be stuck waiting. They are usually too busy with walk-in orders to pick up the phone.
The best Thai food in town. Nothing else compares.
Some of the best food Ive had. Love the #1 (red curry) and the #15 (pad Thai). Get them spicy if you can. The spring rolls are fantastic. Call ahead to order, and though there are tables, my wife and I prefer to get take out from Wok-In. Also, Im pretty sure its cash only.
By far the best Cambodian in town. I have personally been going here for over 10 years now.
We stopped in at lunch today because we had read the great reviews. We were not disappointed!! We were welcomed by the owners and placed our orders. I started off with one of their famous spring rolls. it seemed to have a sausage or some kind of meat in it. It was very tasty! My wife had the pad thai with chicken and shrimp while I had the red curry with chicken. The servings were very generous and both of us left with doggie bags. That is very unusual for me! LOL We like our food spicy and told them so. They made it spicy! The flavours were excellent and the meal was well presented. We try Thai food in cities wherever we go and this ranks up there with the best we have ever had. Well done!! This is more of a takeout establishment but there were enough tables for the people who showed up. Congratulations Kingston on having a first-rate restaurant that you can enjoy whenever you desire good Thai food!
Incredibly generous portions, seriously delicious, served up by a lovely couple. Cash only, well worth any wait.
The best little hole in the wall!! We come here often. Always delicious food served up by a lovely couple.
OH MY! This place is the hidden gem of Kingston. Absolutely hands down my favorite place to eat. Not only is the food authentic and more flavorful than anything Ive ever tasted, the prices are so good for the amount of food you get (often at least two meals for me) and the owners are really kind people. Cash only. For take out - try calling, but if they dont pick up go in to order and trust me, its worth the wait. The #9 is DOWNTOWN!!!!
Lovely environment good place
I will literally drive to Kingston just for this place its that good.
This is my favourite restaurant in Kingston! Its always a treat - and no surprise its always busy! I am stuck on the #2. Amazingly-priced, friendly couple (locally-owned), generous amounts of food, and delicious taste. Theyre willing to personalize your order: no peanuts, extra spicy, less spicy... I cannot recommend this place enough!
This place is a bit of a hole in the wall mom and pop joint, but it is honestly some of the best food Ive ever eaten in Kingston. I could eat it every day no problem. Highly recommend the number 8, but the green curry is also delicious. Their hours are a bit odd, but other than that I can say nothing bad about this restaurant. Definitely check it out!
Everything tastes delicious!
Ordered the banh xeo (pancake with chicken, shrimp, vegetables and fish sauce) and it was absolutely delicious! Huge portions of food. The wait time is a little bit long for take-out but the owners were busy with a big order before mine. Service was good - the owners are very nice and always smiling. Side note: they only accept cash.
Amazing restaurant! The portions are large, food tasty, service friendly, and prices reasonable. Be sure to call ahead to order, as the wait times for pick up can be long.
Ordered the pad Thai and noodles with bbq pork; both were super tasty. Both dishes are very flavourful and the portions were huge. The noodles with bbq was good; but would definitely recommend the pad Thai as the number one choice. Order took around 20 minutes to get ready. Wasnt able to sit inside due to covid. Definitely worth the price and worth the drive. Would DEFINITELY recommend and come again. Ps. They only take cash.
Been a customer since my undergrad years (early 2000s) and have traveled extensively and have never had as delicious food. Its a must pit-stop on road trips from Toronto to Montreal. The owner-operators are a lovely, incredibly hard-working, humble and super sweet. 12/10
Wok-In is among the best restaurants in town!
A lovely couple cooking delicious food for those who are patient enough to deserve it. Many outstanding dishes, but I can say with conviction; this is the best banh xeo (#8) in town.
As the name suggests wok in is a place you need to walk in to. They are a two person crew and do not answer phones. So you walk in you order and you wait. If you can get past that, you will be rewarded with the best curry, pad thai and spring rolls! My personal favorite restaurant. A real gem.
Large portions. Good food. Cash only though...
This is my favorite restaurant on the planet. Ive been going here since I was in high school. Ive moved hundreds of miles away, but whenever I return, its at the top of my list of things to do. Number 8, number 12, number 7.
Amazing pad thai as always.
Phenomenal place!! Ventured here for the first time a week ago and had an amazing experience. We got a couple curry dishes and the spring rolls!! Best curry i have had by far! Make sure to bring cash as they dont accept debit or credit.
The best foods service.
Cheap asian meals with too much peanuts
Very good taste and good value price. Ill be back. Thank you.
Authentic food ! Very tasty and not only that ! They serve a generous amount of food !!!! Ñum ñum
This is the place to go to get FLAVOUR. The portions are gargantuan -- you ought to eat it in two meals, but youll find yourself wolfing it down in one. Be aware that the wait can be long if you show up at peak hours. My favourite is #2 with the pineapple and tomatoes. The bahn xeo is also a lovely hard-to-find treat. Pad thai is intensely flavourful, though a bit sweet for my taste. Several vegetarian options available (see circled items in attached menu).
I miss Wok in Food everyday. It was absolutely my favourite food during my undergrad years at Queens. Now in Toronto but I cannot find anything remotely close to their thai/cambodian food.
We were on our way back from Toronto to Montreal and discovered this little gem. Do not be fooled by its out of the way location, size and sometimes long wait time to get your order. The pros strongly out weigh the cons, the portions are enormous, the flavors are authentic and not toned down, and best of all the food is made with care by the lovely owners who are alone to run the place by themselves. I will happily make the three hour pilgrimage to this holy temple of delight to bask in the authentic flavours of South East Asia.
This place is a gem that Kingston is lucky to have. If you want basic Thai food for takeout then theres no question that you should get it from here.
never disappoints. We ve been ordering here for 6 years now. this place is dynamo. food amazing, price and portion is wow.
As always, Wok-in is absolutely amazing. I had ordered take out and it was just wonderful. It was hot, fresh and as delicious as always. Wok-in is my favorite restaurant. Well worth the trip to Kingston
I freaking love this place!! I have been coming for tasty and authentic Cambodian since 1995. For a super spicy treat, go for #13 (country chicken), but you cannot go wrong with any choice.
The Most Flavourful Dishes! Our family has been back time and time again & we live four hours away! Try the #9 on rice!
A favorite place, love the spring rolls, other dishes are always fresh and hot. Awesome takeout which wxplains how busy they are. No matter how busy the food is ready in a timely manner.
A trip to Kingston without eating at Wok-In is a waste. Best southeast asian food in Canada and excellent value. The hours are tricky, the food takes time because its always prepared fresh, and the seating area is small and basic, but the food is another level. Get the #1 and all your dreams will come true.
Tried it for the first time just over a month ago. So good! Best burger Ive had in Kingston so far! Was called the Sexy Burger! Amazing!!
Great food. Really flavourful. Will be back. Update: Went back 3 days in a row. Love it. Such a hardworking duo.
Excellent food. It was worth the wait.
Best little restaurant ever!
Discovered this lovely gem during my last few months Kingston. Absolutely fresh ingredients and each plate is made with love and care. Definitely one of the most authentic Thai/Cambodian restaurants you can find in Kingston. I d miss the lovely owners and the food and would visit again for another #8 even if I don t live in the city anymore!
Delicious and authentic meals.
This place is tiny, a hole in the wall kind if joint. The courses are affordable and the menu is simple. Everything was made fresh, very tasty. The staff gave us a good time estimate for our order. My only regret is ordering one instead of 2 spring rolls, they were delicious.
Authentic food at its best! Just a little dive in Kingston, but what great food! Theyre so busy, they dont even answer their phone! Dont eat in; its not really set up for it. Try the #1 and go from there.
This place only loses 1 star for us waiting over 1 hour for our food. The seating is very limited (about 5 tables) and it is also a take-out and delivery place. It seemed that the take-out and delivery customers received priority, and the tiny kitchen (run by just 2 people) could not really keep up with demand on this busy Saturday evening
You don t come here for the decor, you come for good food, big portions and low prices.
Best Thai in Kingston. Hands down.
Addicting....
Best cambodgian food in town , portion is perfect , food delicious , service amazing , 10 star :D
Most consistent quality and authentic Cambodian/Vietnam/Thai food ever had in Ontario. I have been coming to this place since 2010 at least 3, 4 time a month. Chris never rushes to make to food.. Even you get 2 orders of the same dish, he cooks them one by one to ensure the quality. Hence the long wait time. If you want to get the food prepared and ready instantly like fast food, this perhaps not your place. Fantastic place to eat in or to takeout. If I could give a 10 out of 5 star rating I would. This place is like a home away from home.
Best Thai food in town
Good food but, they have odd hours and only take cash. Try their egg rolls.
Got takeout from wok-in last night and was really impressed with the quality and quantity of food. We got the pad Thai and Vietnamese style bbq pork with noodles. Pad Thai was maybe the best Ive ever had, bbq pork with noodles was not what I was expecting and I wouldnt get it again but still good quality and flavourful. If youre planning to go near closing time, try to get there alittle early as sometimes they close earlier than listed hours.
Favorite restaurant in Kingston
Expect to wait but its definitely worth it! Best food in Kingston Ive tried so far
