McDonald’s in Kingston

Solid McDonalds, except the picture in this isnt the location anymore. That McDonalds location moved basically across the street.

No one wants to wait half an hour for the washroom when theres not even a line, just management is asleep at the switch; just leave them unlocked.

A collection of some of the worst employees to curse downtown kingston with the exception of a few hard workers keeping everyone afloat. Always double-check your order at this location, even a single item Edit: a year later, still the worst service in absolute history. Dont feel bad for being on top of workers to get you your drink after 10 mins

This is where the homeless hangout. The smell is horrific.

The workers of this McDonald s are so rude and don t even look at you when taking orders and are not taking cleaning seriously not using gloves or hair nets. Night shift crew the Indian girls are very rude and disrespectful.

Even through these rough times downtown, you guys went and above and beyond with acting professional even during the depressing atmosphere Dietary restrictions: It would have been nice to have been able to have my coffee made with a dairy free latose free option.

Quite disappointed with the service today. Put my burger in the box upside down. Should ve got a 10 piece instead.

The service here most days is just so bad. Especially if you go around when bars get out or early morning. Waiting 10 mintues+ at the late night window. There rude an they always lie about the ice cream machine being broken.

I ordered a Big Mac, but they put two pieces of meat in it and lost the other two. Last time, I ordered fries again, cold or too salty. Generally, it wasnt good

Just generally walked into the store so I can get a smoothie, I did so and the service was very quick. Actually friendly, was out of that store within 10 minutes, as it have become a little bit busy when we were there

Aside from trying not to trip over the people living in the front doorway, the place was quiet, but service was still very slow for 1 order. Waited a good 10 mins. Not worth the eait.

Unfortunately the crazy methd out street people love Ronald & the Hamburgler as much as the rest of us .. NO WORRIES dont make eye contact & do your thing its all good. As I was paying for my coffee I asked is Grimace working today? She said Im not sure & then she asked her manager who looked at me & we both started laughing. The girl was just confused ..she obviously has no clue who Grimace is. Lol.

Its usually pretty clean and the staff is fast and friendly. My orders are done correctly.

So June 1 2024 I took a cab early in the morning because I was starving and placed my order my order was all wrong and missing things and it totalled $70 and when we gott our order I asked if they would call me a cab and they replied no . Can you believe it. So I have to wait till someone called me a cab while my food got cold .then when I finally got home there was a hair in my food so you tell me how you would rate this

Came in, ordered two mcdoubles with extra onions. Had to bring them back to the counter because like usual - no extra onions. They remade the burgers, and surprise! Less onions then before. Theyre acting like each little diced onion comes out of their pay at $1 each. Come on now.

I ordered big mac, but my chicken was really bad in taste. It seems like chicken was sitting there from hours that they served me. It was my worst experience in the mcdonald s. Never want to order anything in future.

Great seating, great service, and better location than where it used to be Theres no drive-thru, or parking lot at this McDonalds.

Don t bother ordering from this McDonald s through Uber. I ve tried many times and they very literally never get the order right. Something is either wrong or missing. This morning I ordered a bacon and egg McMuffin, got a sausage with no egg. How hard is it to read basic instructions? They won t even include sauces that you actually have to pay for. Incompetent.

I order McDonalds whenever I want some quick food when I dont feel like making anything, and I usually have a great experience at every location that I have been to. However, the location at 312 Princess Street Kingston Ontario has messed my order up almost every time that I have ordered there, most times I am able to catch it and fix the issue but this time I didnt and of course this one restaurant doesnt have a phone number so I cant contact them without having to go all the way back to the restaurant. I dont like giving bad reviews, and i understand that mistakes happen, but I honestly feel that they need to work on a handful of things and I believe that if more people were to express their thoughts then maybe they will work on fixing these issues because I know that I am not the only one who has experienced these issues at this particular location. Until they start training their employees better or whatever else that they need to do to fix the problems that people have been having, I will stick to the locations on Division Street and Midland Ave.

Dirty with dried up food stuck to dining tables, Need to request permisson to use washroom due to it being locked 24/7. All of the power outlets placed at tables for mobile charging do not work. Also, the manager comes off as very rude when asked a question, but i can understand his frustration due to this location being a place for transient persons and drug use / activity at his front door all hours of the day. Would like to note that these persons have in no way bothered myself or any other patrons while I was visiting this location. They seem to be struggling with issues ranging from addictions to homelessness and are harmless, very friendly, and quite polite.

This place is disgusting. The staff are rude and ignorant I m travelling from Ottawa and asked to used the bathroom and when they saw I had bags they refused me the bathroom till I left them my bags. Who treats a customer this way. I wouldn t recommend this place if your travelling from out of town Service

This place is drug Central in Kingston Ontario. I beg and plead of you not to ever bring your children here. Patrons will smoke methamphetamine in the washrooms and loiter in the restaurant. Worst McDonalds Ive ever been in. The staff are so unorganized and horseplay you will end up waiting 10 minutes for a simple combo. Do not attend

My regular place for a quick breakfast in downtown. Except for the people outside the restaurant tryna create chaos and the washrooms. The place constantly and consistently strives to provide good customer service.

Absolutely disgusting service. Would not recommend this McDonald s. Walked in this after noon after a long day of work, in my pjs. And was denied services to the bathroom, before purchasing my order and embarrassed as the staff labelled me a drug addict in front of the whole store. I am absolutely mortified as I come here on the daily, before and after work for coffee, and am very respectful and polite with the staff. Honestly cannot believe this behaviour .. will not be returning to this restaurant.

The manager has a disgusting attitude and should be fired. Banging on the bathroom door asking customers what is taking them so long is unacceptable. She ignores them when they try to ask her a question and screams how bothered she is by them. Do your job or just quit if you re that unhappy.

The parking lot is set up in a confusing configuration.

Service can be hit or miss, but the most consistent McDonalds in Kingston that I have been to.

Place is clean. But washroom always locked and have to see manager to open it. Feels like they are not welcome the customers. Ordered roast coffee. Told her make sure it is double double. She said yes. And later found it is still roast coffee without sugar and milk. Came twice, always the same. Dont know why.

Went late at night, while waiting for my food outside the window, I was privileged enough to see a guy have an entire 2-person conversation with him playing both people - absolute masterpiece. Junior chicken never disappoints.

Im not sure about inside of the restaurant but as you approach drive thru its not very inviting. The staff appeared nice enough but the exterior is not what it should be. Maybe because its in a rather small/confined area of Kingston. To be honest some of the people who hang around this location are kind of scary with the way they look at you or the fact that they talk to themselves and some of them appear homeless which my heart goes out to them but Im still nervous about going there again.

Wow just wow, I had previously given one star due to lack of customer service and most times terrible food but this takes it a guy came in to place a order with no mask a worker asked him to put one on he replied he had a medical reason,then a second person asked and he told them the same thing,, a guy then comes out and tells him to wait outside and when the man said why the server replied I dont want to get covid the customer then said well then get a Fing vaccine and the server turned around and told him to Fing get outside... The man should not have sworn but thats for sure NOT how a server should be replying... Like come on I get covid has been stressful on everyone Im in healthcare but let those who say they are mask exempt get their stuff and move along they are few and far between.

This mcdonalds never has half the stuff theyre supposed to have on the menu. We always joke about if theyll actually have what we want before we arrive, and most of the time they dont. The supper to breakfast downtime during the night is extremely unpredictable.

The old tims & this mcds always have sketchy people around it. Ive witnessed trouble here many times. Overall its good enough but sometimes the hot coffee they serve is cold. They still have a capacity of just 4 people whereas restrictions have lifted, making it a long time to get my order, standing outside sometimes in this freezing weather. Hope their new location will cease the troubles they generally face. The chicken muffin is amazing here!

We went today and the staff was rude. They told us they were closing 4 hours before they are scheduled to close despite people being in the dining room anyways. When we went to the walk up window the manager slammed the door in our face. I can t stress enough how bad of McDonalds this is. Never go here.

Do NOT ever order delivery from this McDonald s. Pretty much 75% percent of the time I or my friends have ordered from here at least one item was missing. Often times it s more. Most recently, almost every single item we ordered was either incorrect or missing. If you don t have the time to reorder your stuff, you re better off getting food literally anywhere else, because even if the food isn t your favourite, at least you won t be hungry.

McDonalds its a good place to go if youre hungry they do not have the drive-thru anymore but they do have the new location just up a little bit from the old location the new location looks really nice

The staff is great here I just have a complaint about the customers not the staff , when I was here the customers were so rude towards the staff when they are just trying to do their best , I watched 4 customers yell at the staff about their food, the staff handled the situations beautifully buy Im very upset at how people were treating the staff . This is for the staff keep it up dont let rude customers get to you!

The customer service was great however I feel bad for the staff that had to deal with horribly rude customers , this complaint is for the CUSTOMERS not the staff , you shouldnt treat people like this , the McDonalds staff are trying their best to get you your food as fast as they can

I order 2 milk shakes and a smoothie to be delivered from skip the dish. It took them an hour to get this order prepared. I find this a little frustrating and annoying. Like how long does it take to make 3 cold drinks?

App glitched while at the till, manager refused to honour my offer pricing. We left without food and ate elsewhere, as our business wasnt wanted.

Ordered through Skip yesterday. Mostly ok but how do you send two poutines with squirts of gravy. Was like fries and curds. Top cover had more gravy than what was on the fries!

A few employees (a couple girls) in there are very racist, never speaks properly or politely to me ever but behaves very well to white customers in the line. I thought it maybe a misunderstanding but the same experience was frequent when those girls worked.

Ordered McMuffin BLT Egg McMuffin and put no bacon because Im a vegetarian. Got home and it had bacon on it... Service was very slow but I heard one of the workers say they were down a few staff. She was also swearing up a storm very loudly about how she had been there all day due to people calling in and it being very busy (another man in line commented on the swearing) - it was clear she was overworked and very stressed out, but one should still control their behaviour. She was very nice to me, personally, however. Management didnt say anything to her about the swearing, which is quite concerning as I am a manager of a large team of people and that would never fly with me.
