Good lunch specials, lamb was very tender. I asked for spicy curry and it was perfect.
Ordered off skip for our 'One Friday per month order something completely new'. Husband picked it as he loves Indian food and it looked more authentic. I can't eat spicy food, but it was delicious. Amazing. Favorited in my skip restaurants.
Visited this place for early dinner at 4:30PM on a Sunday. It’s location is not in core downtown but not too away too and street parking is available. Food is priced expensively but tastes is below average. We ordered lamb dopiazah and they just sauted onion and green pepper in regular curry 😬. Naan is good but it’s made from pizza dough so expect it to taste diff.. The only reason I went here was becz they serve halal (except beef) food . Overall, I would say the restaurant doesn’t do justice to its name, no curry is original.
Worst experience, bad service and the food was salty.poor costumer service.they even managed to screw up a Gulab Jamun ! They tried to choose our order for us. Good way to waste some money if you feel like you have too much.
The service was amazing. The manager was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The butter chicken was sweeter than what I usually have. The lamb biryani and korma were very good. We also loved the chai and lassi and would definitely recommend.
August 2022 3* Visited the place for quick dinner. Restaurant closed by 9 pm so can not dine in. The manager was kind to offer takeout option. I am little disappointed with the food. Here is my food list: Paneer Jalfrezi 2* Garlic Naan 3* Paneer was very dry and was not fully cooked. May be done in hurry. I appreciate to off take out option but food was not fully prepared.
A popular Indian restaurant in town. Ordered Chicken Madras and Butter chicken. Chicken Madras was a way too hot for one hot🔥 level. Butter Chicken was a way too sweet and sugar could be reduced. Naan breads are a little heavier than regular ones (not fluffy style) and could be cheaper ($4.50 each). The portion is just right.
This restaurant has moved to a location very close to my work, so I gave it a try today. Overall, I was disappointed. The butter chicken was weirdly very sweet. The description said it had raisins, peanuts, fried onions and almonds. There were two peanuts (perhaps the rest were ground?), NO raisins, NO fried onions and NO almonds. None whatsoever. The chicken itself was tender and tasty, but literally the dish was sauce, and chicken, and nothing else. The sauce was very thin, and also looked a bit curdled - like if you were to add citrus to a milky dish. Pappadums were yummy, rice was fine, if not a little undercooked, but that could just be personal preference. I may consider coming again and trying another dish, but I'll have to think about it - my palao rice, butter chicken and two pappadums came to over 30 dollars, which hurt a bit given the disappointing dish. However the staff were very friendly and prompt, so that was good at least.
Food had no flavor, dishes were watery, naan was underdone, and food was cold. Waste of money.
My favourite restaurant in Kingston.
Outstanding food, fantastic service and an incredible atmosphere of love for food and people.
Really appreciate our visit! Exceptional service and tasty dishes!
Guri is good man at work at this place he is nice and his food is very good
Great discovery! First Indian meal, we were all pleasantly surprised! Delicious! Excellent service!
The guy work at front he is very rude with uber driver. Uber driver is very polite. Restaurant guy dont know how to deal with people. I don t came back.
Horrible service, extremely argumentative
Best curry Ive had in years, ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, service was prompt, onion salad was amazing, Vindaloo had the perfect amount of spice. Best curry in town no doubt.
Ordered delivery thro Skip. Delivery was smooth as is often the case with Skip in K. They seem to deliver straight to your location without detours (unlike other delivery services in the area). Popadoms, Vindaloo were excellent! Pineapple Shrimp was not thick and had 7 or so shrimps. Garlic bread was good as was the palao rice. Best so far in K and have tried many.
Bland curries with too much oil. I ordered a vegetable curry and it was mostly tomato sauce with only a small amount of vegetables, and no potatoes. A waste of money.
Very costly for some chickpeas.
I had take-out; the food was good and the portions substantial; the service was efficient and courteous.
Good Food but Unpredictable hours
Doesn t even have a ramp for wheelchair or for a walker which is terrible! Then how can wheelchair access the store!???
although we miss the ambience of Curry Original at its old Ontario street location, the food remains outstanding. The current location is much less formal, very much like a casual neighbourhood pub. Its our go-to spot in Kingston for Indian food.
We went there for dinner just as the electricity went out in the entire area! They provided battery operated candles for our table and served us a delicious dinner. Very pleasant staff- I highly recommend this as one of the best places to eat in Kingston.
Zero food No taste
My wife and I dined at Curry Original last night, it was a delightful experiance of good food and wanderful service, thank you Curry Original.
My friends and I had a lovely meal here. The menu had lots of choices, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. There is free parking on the street at select times, so that s convenient!
Really tasty food!!
Lamb curry was to die for, they were very willing to make it extra spicy for my dad! Excellent service and amazing food!!
I enjoyed my experience ! The naan bread was super fluffly and the lamb madras was tender. I would go back if passing by the area.
Amazing
Place not very inviting, one waiter was very shy and the other one not accommodating. Food was just ok, Naan was quite blah.
Food was delicious and prepared very quickly for takeout. Portions are quite generous, we had enough for 2 meals for 2! Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free
Very good food was outstanding
Absolutely amazing food. There is a gap in service between lunch and dinner, so dine-in for late lunches may not be possible.
We visited this place during our Ottawa visit. The place had a wait time for about 30 minutes as it was prime time. We ordered both South Indian items such as dosa and vada as well as chowmin and veg manchurian. The dosa and sambhar were pretty good along with the chutneys but the noodles and munchurian were really bad. The staff were very cordial and accomodated us as early as they could.
What a beautiful restaurant and delicious food to dine in. Its definitely a must place to bring your family to have dinner or lunch. The owner was super sweet. Definitely recommend.
Honestly, some of the best Indian Ive had, especially if you like it flavourful but not too spicy. The lamb korma was especially tasty and the butter chicken was sweet and tangy. The patio is quite lovely too. Dietary restrictions: Most of the menu is gluten-free and the server was knowledgeable.
Still my favorite Indian place after many years...cant find the same korma flavor curry in Toronto
We recently visited...and we are highly disappointed with the taste of their food. We ordered - tandoori roti - naan - mix veg - palak matar paneer None of the above items were tasting good...not even tandoori roti which is the basic.
This was a takeout order in the early afternoon. The food was very good and the service was fast and friendly.
Amazing food!!!
The food is delicious - the service is nicely paced. The atmosphere is family friendly but still great for a date night Kid-friendliness: Kids were there and looked like a family meal . Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp and tables set apart to invite wheelchair - walker access.
Great food as always in the new location. Vegetarian options: Available. Food : 5/5 |
Ordered takeout - two entrees (Chicken Madras) & two naan. Quality of the chicken was great - not chewy or stringy. Spice level was spot-on. Naan was a little doughy, but better than most naan in the city - I dont know if thats a compliment or an indictment on the state of Indian food in the YGK. Quote was ~20-25 minutes and the food was ready upon arrival. Staff is always friendly. One negative, if I had to nitpick - not wild about the value for the money. Chicken Madras ($19.95) and naan ($5.50) is wild. CO seems to be one of the few Indian restaurants in town that doesnt include Papadum with their entrees - it must be an extra charge. Almost all of their entrees are a few dollars more than other similar restaurants in town. I guess they would point to the economy, rent, etc.
Quite and cozy restaurant with good choices of lunch specials.
Fantastic Dinner. Chicken Jalfrezi was amazing!
We were excited to finally be able to eat at Curry Original. What a monumental let down. Let me preface this review by stating that my wife and I lived in the Gerard Street - Little India area of Toronto for almost 20 years. We KNOW Indian food. I understand that there are different flavours and ways of preparing dishes and I have to say Curry Original is NOTHING like ANY Indian food we have ever had. It was HORRIFIC! Every dish was wayyyy over salted and their Butter Chicken l was served in a sauce that had separated and curdled and was so sweet it was virtually inedible. When the host asked how everything was I very gently and politely told him that the butter chicken sauce had separated, it was too sweet and I did not enjoy it. (there was still 3/4 of left in the serving dish) He proceeded to tell me that this was how it was made, the way it is supposed to be and it was their most popular dish. Zero effort to make it right. I have attached a picture of the butter chicken where you can see the curdled sauce. I am disgusted by my experience at this restaurant.
Its so delicious even its my favourite restaurant
Excellent food, great atmosphere, lovely owners. Very glad we selected this restaurant for dinner!
Me and my friend went to have Nan and chicken korma. The worst korma I have ever had. It was soo sweet that we couldn t eat it. When we asked about it the employee said that s how it s made. I wouldn t recommend anybody to go there. It s too expensive and not worth it.
We just moved to Kingston and we re looking for some good Indian food. We did not find it here. Despite the bad reviews we gave it a shot and were so disappointed. The Aloo Gobi was a salt bomb and the Samosas were greasy and had no Indian spice!! We ordered garlic naan but found no garlic. Time to try the next restaurant!
I tried Shrimp Madras. Chef thought it is just chilli and shrimp. Taste is very worst. Dont try that.
Best Indian restaurant. Had a very good dinner tonight. Well cooked, very good taste in all curries. Naan was excellent too! Very well managed restaurant overall :)
I feel a greater effort could be placed into the appearance and cleanliness of the restaurant. The food was average. Mushrooms were delicious but the chicken was sweet.
Go, Go,Go.... wonderful food .great place .Ali Rocks
Absolutely fantastic. Perfect attentive service, fabulous flavors.
I have never seen in Ontario, Less quantity and higher price like this. Never visit again, Dont recommend.
Thank you for the amazing service. We ordered mix vegetable curry, roti, dal and rice. Balanced spices, right quantity and comforting food. I felt like Im eating homemade food. Senior Management is willing to take constructive feedback, I appreciate that. Thank you to the chef and Pranab for the amazing chat.
A far cry from its original. Hard times for cost, but has definitely fallen behind other similar restaurants in town.
Worst Indian food ever in Canada!!!! never try here instead you can stay hungry!!!
Very Bad expirence.. Not an India Resturant for sure. Very bad taste not even a single food tasted good. Too expensive...Not worth the price :( Waste of money and time
Worst experience I ever had in any of the Indian restaurant. Too much food color. Tandoori naan is not cooked well.
Indian food is blend of spices, but this was nothing close to it! It was bland and had absolutely no flavor to it. It was expensive and not worth it, it also took alot of waiting! It was just some turmeric rice and when we asked for spicy they mixed it with chilly powder, The gravies were also mixed with turmeric powder and chilli powder, it had no flavor at all. Our hands were stained because of the turmeric powder. We were very disappointed with this experience!!!
We visited the hotel with large group of people and with small kids. When we asked for table inside they told table was reserved. So we took patio, but we had a uninvited guest as cat and it came and seated in one of the chair where we had kids and kids were frightened. Coming to food, We ordered Naan, gravy and chicken briyani, naan was not cooked properly and when we asked for replacement for naan, waiter said no oven is repair, so we cannot give replacement naan. if the tandoori stove is repair then I dont know how will they serve food for upcoming guest who had table reserved Coming to briyani, it was just rice mixed in chicken with food color and salt, if you know what a briyani is then definitely I wouldnt recommend this. Gravy, Lamb vindaloo is just cooked with red chilli no other taste I can feel. Friends ordered pulav, is just mixed of food color with basmati rice, which didnt had jeera even. Only food that was good is tandoori chicken. Rest all the food which we ordered was really bad. Quantity of gravies is also too less and that didnt had much taste even, also price is too high.
High quality food and customer service.. Love the place
I have my takeout here The food was excellent and nicely packed highly recommend this place
I ordered delivery from curry original yesterday and love the food and their service
Awesome place authentic Indian cuisine will visit again
Highly recommended for Perfect blend of Indian spices
ALERT!!! Read before u visit... dont be fooled by the reviews... Original??? Come on needs a name change for sure.. may be Curry duplicate.. worst food I have had ever.. Yellow color power everywhere. All Rice pulavs + biryanis + gravies was colored and with just salt... no other spices or taste or flavor.. Ask for spicy u will get a cup of chilli powder added in there.. Curry quantity is way too less. Owner gives suggestions to order more curries as a sales tactics.. Too costly!!! Not even worth any money!!
Perfect indian cuisine
I have eaten food which was delicious and I love to explore more.
No.
I was really looking forward to eating here, but it was some of the worst Indian food I have ever had. The food was bland and oily and a complete waste of money, and the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.
Wonderful variety, great cooks.
Over Priced
Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Excellent service.
Very friendly staff, good portion size, and full of flavors.
Amazing vegan food!!! We loved it. And the staff is so kind and friendly!
New location but still great food, service and ambience. I am a long time customer who now lives in another city but need to eat here every time I am in Kingston
Curry Original is hands down the best Indian Ive ever had. For over twenty years it has been consistently amazing. I live in Ottawa and make a point of stopping in to Kingston to go to Curry Original. Best butter chicken ever.
Honestly some of the best curry I ve had in my life. The staff have also won in my books for best customer service in Kingston! I would highly recommend trying their chicken tikka and Kashmiri chicken if you haven t already!
Original Curry is best of best.
Their Butter Chicken used to be my absolute favorite out of all the places I ve been to but it has sadly changed it s way too sweet now! Very disappointed. On the other hand, the lamb curry was really tender and good.
Food was not good and the sever was trying to convince us to pick items we didnt want...The chicken Madress dish was too salty.
The worst Indian restaurants Ive ever tried. The server was trying to convince us to pick items we didnt want. We order channa masala, chicken Jalfrezi, paratha and chicken madras. All the dishes were bad and too salty. It might be because the restaurant was crowd the day we went. The channa masala was not cooked enough.I didnt think there was a way in which one can screw gulab jamun . Kulfi was okay and biriyani was also okay.
Different location, same excellent food and service!! Highly recommended!!
Another delicious meal!
Not going to recommend this place at all!
We ordered a garlic chicken tandoori and a lamb curry two nights ago. The salad was basically a handful of lettuce in a ziploc, the chicken was not tasty at all and the lamb curry was quite oily. The food was not fresh and it made both our stomachs heavy. We couldnt eat properly the next day.
Good food
Our first meal from this restaurant. Iw was very tasty and great portions. The man who took our order was very helpful.
Best Indian food in town! Staff are very friendly and aim to please. Ask for the special hot sauce
Will always be the best Indian curry Ive ever had.
Not a great experience.
Some of the best food and atmosphere in the city.
This is probably the best Indian I have ever had hands down.
Best Indian food in Kingston!!
This is my favourite local Indian Food spot in Kingston! They recently moved from Ontario Street to their new Bagot Street location which is tucked away in a cute downtown Kingston neighbourhood. The food is ALWAYS so good at Curry Original!! Good portion sizes, great flavours and nice staff. My go-to dishes are: Aloo Ghobi, Saag Paneer, and Lamb Korma (and of course Naan bread to soak up all the extra sauces). It will be really nice to eat on their patio this summer once COVID restrictions ease up!
We had dinner which included Paneer Jalfarezi, vegetable biryani and Naan. To our surprise Naan was freshly cooked and really soft. Vegetable biryani was tasty as well. paneer was a bit watery but had a good taste. So Overall we enjoyed our dinner
Great food, great service :)
Food was underwhelming... biryani rice was over cooked and they gave us a vegetarian biryani despite ordering the chicken (was eventually corrected). The curry was excessively spicy (maybe the added a little extra since we are Indian). Place seems to be under new management and they really need to improve. Student servers were not coordinated at all. Had to ask 3 times to get the bill while the place wasnt even crowded.
Amazing staff, waiter was extremely helpful and friendly. Glad they r in my neighborhood..
Long wait time. Small portions. Had to do to McDonalds after
Thank you so much for the wonderful meal tonight. We will definitely be back often and well be sure to bring friends and share the good news.
Great food and service. Will come back again!
Worst paneer dish, worst naan, worst daal. Asked to make spicy and in rage added red chilli and made paneer dish and daal tikka so spicy it could not be eaten. Gulab jamun tasted bad. Overall i will just suggest others to ignore.
The best Indian restaurant around! The Saag Paneer, Madras Beef and Butter Chicken with Naans and Palau Rice were delicious with perfectly balanced spices. The same great atmosphere, flavours and service as always in a great new location.
Great food.. Amazing hospitality.. Would love to eat here again when visiting Kingston..
Great food just a little pricey!
Excellent meal!
Highly recommend Tanduri Chicken, nun, and Barfi. Food was very fresh, mouthwatering, and the environment was clean. On another occasion tried lamb dishes - Korma, Rogan Josh. It melts in the mouth. Definitely a must go if you crave for freshly cooked high quality Indian food in Kingston.
Fair price, delightful service, and the food is incredible! Garlic naan is a must try.
Great food and service at a great price
If you want to taste authentic Indian food, this is the place where you need to go.
It was a very bad experience. We ordered Shrimp Phatia on the servers recommendation, it turned out to be too sweet and tasted like honey. When we asked them to replace it with another dish- Shrimp Jalfrezi, it was partially cooked, poorly cooked spices and vegetables were raw tasting. Poor judgement of spices like turmeric powder and we probably got an extra helping of chilli powder in our dish, since we complained! Never going back again. Wish had a better experience!
Visiting town, came at the recommendation of a local. Ordered a takeout over the phone, told itd be ready in 45 mins. Came 45 mins later and was told itd be a couple more minutes. Standing there for 25 minutes when the guy behind the counter says its going to a further 20 or 25 minutes.. So remaining optimistic and needing the walk to calm down a bit, I went for a 25 minute walk, not wanting to risk coming back after 20 and have to stand inside for another 5 mins... Came back, got the food an hour after it was supposed to be ready and thought, its all going to be worth it cos this food is going to be delicious. It wasnt.
Good service, and delicious food!
Very delicious food and awesome customer service.
Best food in Kingston ; really like the food , the service all fantastic. Specially the vegetables biryani is the best biryani we had in Ontario.
Very amazing food in the town . Best place to visit. We come from Toronto here , i wish to come back here if i get chance, strongly recommend to visit this place if you really wants to enjoy you evening with best food and best customer service.
Osm very delicious food. Who like indian food please visit that place and try really amazing
Food is fantastic
This is one of the best places to eat around campus, the portions are great for its price!
Inauthentic food and subpar customer service. As an Indian person, I have never had curries that taste like this, especially like their butter chicken. There is no spice and very minimal Indian flavours. Do not order the butter chicken if you are looking for a traditional take on this Indian classic - butter chicken at this restaurant is sweet and yellow. Very disappointing. I called the restaurant asking to have something a bit more traditional and was disappointed by their response that this is the Kingston version of butter chicken and that they wouldnt do anything for me. I would recommend trying any of the other Indian restaurants in the city before this one.
Always such amazing food and the staff are always great. The vindaloo was nice a spicy
We like Indian food a lot and have eaten it in many places in many countries. We ve visited Curry Original a number of times. Their food can be really good sometimes. Great naan and samosas. No complaints about the service. Price is average for this town. That s why I gave it two stars. The issue is that we ve eaten there twice when the food (one time lamb madras, the other chicken korma) was so sweet that it was inedible. It was like eating candies. If you look at some reviews here, you ll find others have suffered the same fate. I cannot understand why they would do this. I think a restaurant can give you inedible food once. Everybody makes mistakes. When they do it twice, it s time to find a new Indian restaurant.
TL;DR - threw this food out right away and ordered Indian food elsewhere. Needed my taste buds to forget this embarrassing take on Indian food. Saying this place is an extreme disappointment would be an understatement. As an individual from Toronto that has had the opportunity to try multiple takes on Indian cuisine, this ranks far below anything Ive ever had. The expensive pricing (considering the quality of the food) is an additional kick in the gut. I feel bad for the people that think the food here is good - I assure you, this is NOT good Indian food.
Friendly staff, the food was good and very filling. Everything was served quickly
The service was good and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, but the chicken korma was VERY sweet; too much added sugar. And, the korma curry was a bit lumpy.
Soooo gooood.. I love Indian food and they have great Indian food.. The atmosphere is terrific and the prices are very reasonable
Delicious food and atmosphere. Reasonable prices for large portions.
Giving 4 stars because the service was amazing and the atmosphere was very intimate. However, I think the portion sizes should be improved. The butter chicken has thinly sliced chicken pieces and for the price- I think it should have been more.
It was a lovely dinner here at Curry Original. I do think the place can flavour and season the food a little more strongly but I think that they are more receptive to spice preference of the community and crowd around them. The paneer jalfrezi was mentioned as extra spicy but I think it was moderately spicy. But its a personal pallette preference. I had ordered the samosas, onion bhajji, panner jalfrezi, mixed vegetables and naans. I think it will add more to the spread if they add a mint chutney to onion bhajji and samosas as it needs a little kick! The portions were very generous and definitely you get what you pay for. The staff is sweet and courteous!
Lovely and tasty vegetarian options
I ve tried every Indian food in all Indian restaurants located in Kingston but Curry origianl is the best. Great quality of food and authentic indian taste with bunch of spices and flavor. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Dining area is great and always cleaned. Their menu is not too big which is a great thing and they have specific items with next level of deliciousness. I just love this place and often visit here.
Excellent choice, decor and service
We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed one of the best meals ever. We ordered 7 dishes from the menu and everything was outstanding. The food was fresh, well presented, and the service was excellent. Well definitely be heading back to this cozy gem.
Good food!
The service and hospitality of the place is terrible. The guy who took my order was really rude. In the mid of my order he snatched the menu card from my hand. He didnt even said sorry and the food was so expensive . I ll not recommend this place at all.
Worse service Ever!!! We are trying all Indian restaurants in Kingston. We planned to go here last Friday. The service guy was so rude he also even ripped the menu out of my hand before even asking me if i was ready to order. I have no idea why, it seems like there is a lot of discrimination! Although the food was good can t complaint about it #international students.
An absolutely top notch indian restaurant. We are originally from England and have experienced some pretty fine indian cuisine. Curry Original is our go to restaurant we visit every year whilst vacationing in the Kingston area. I wont recomend any dish in particular as you cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Prices are very reasonable and service is polite and timely. I cant say enough good things about this place, and cant wait until summer vacations roll around so we can go back again.
The food is fantastic, and well worth the price. I definitely recommend it and look forward to having it again.
Everything tasted delicious. Loved the 20% off for pick up. We brought the food back home and had a wonderful picnic in bed. One small point to improve, the lamb dhansak could have included a bit more lamb. Staff are very friendly. This is my and my gfs go to place for Indian food.
Authentic food. Beautiful atmosphere and patio
They donot even know how to talk with customers Very rude and. Food is so bad
Just had a wonderful dinner at the Curry Original. Service was excellent, food was incredible outdoor patio very relaxing. One of the very few places in Kingston where you can get a bottle of wine for under $25,00 and entry s under $20.00. Highly.recommended.
Delicious food, and great service! Can t wait to go back. Would definitely recommend!
Very friendly environment.
Best Indian restaurant in town, hands down. Cant go wrong picking any meal from their menu. Best enjoyed with several people (although maybe just family right now due to Covid) so many different plates can be ordered. Owner is very genuine and caring which is nice to see. Sad to hear that they will be closing down soon though. Be sure to check it out while it lasts!
Friendly service, well organized with the dealing of the virus. Amazing food. Cant wait to go back.
My husband had a lamb dish and asked for it to be a bit on the mild side, which they accommodated. I had the butter chicken, and we had rice and naan bread. The meal was absolutely phenomenal! He also brought us these delicious onion patties as an appetizer. Whether everyone starts with this, or it was a complimentary thing since it was out first visit, I do not know.
Great place, close to the water with nice patios. Cheap drinks. We never had their food but I imagine it is amazing. Great service, Sam served us and was wonderful!
Pathetic.
The restaurant is slightly dated but the food more than makes up for that. Authentic tasty dishes and good portions
Great food, Good people. A must go to place!
Amazing food lil pricey but get what u pay for :)
Our young waiter did not speak much English, and when my husband asked what was on tap, he looked at us confused and walked away. Right away an older gentlemen (maybe one of the owners) came right over to us smiling and proceeded to take care of us for the night. We said it was our first visit, and he made many recommendations, and spent lots of time with us going over all the different menu items to find something we would both enjoy.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is really nice! A little pricey, but if you re a student, you get 20% off on weekdays!
As always, great food.
Food and service is very good, will return.
Good service great food, servings are on the small side.
Our favorite in Kingston. The food is excellent, and the service has always been very good. I am surprised by the negative reviews regarding the table service. We have always been treated well, and one of the owners almost always comes over to the table to confirm everything is in order. This is one of our go-to places to entertain visitors.
Somosas are very bland - Im assuming frozen. Onion bhaji is pretty good. Chicken jalfrezi was very oily and not very spicy. Aloo gobi was probably the highlight of the meal.
Onion Bhaji and Samosas were delicious appetizers... I had Chicken Madras, and my wife had the Bombay Aloo... both portion sizes were decently sized and the food quality was top notch... I would definitely recommend
Ordered take-out on a whim. The shrimp tandoori, although not your typical red masala style, was wonderfully cooked. The raita was perfect and the sweet onions on the side was the icing on the cake. Great meal from a great restaurant! Ask them to make the food spicier if you can handle it
Food is not that great, friendly staff
Always so nice, and delicious!
It s a great Indian restaurant If you are Indian then ask for Indian spicy food taste or they will make very mild as most of their customers are locals and non-Indians. Very economical and very tasty food.
I ve been eating here for years and years... impossible to beat the curries made at this restaurant... wow. Their Lamb Dhansak, Chicken Korma... the two greatest curries I ve had in my life.
