Amazing service by Mira!!! She's super attentive and sweet, chatted with us and brought us our food!! <3
🍽️ ordered soondubu + ramen 💰 $23 pp after tax and tip Side dishes were pretty sad... I'm used to receiving about 5-6 but I only got 2 with this meal. Pretty bare bones decor for a Korean restaurant which I don't mind. Nothing particularly great about this Korean restaurant but it's not the worse. I'll come back because there aren't many choices for Korean food in the area
Excellent food, great fast service, huge portions. We're definitely repeat customers.
The food was so delicious and well prepared! I loved the flavors and textures of the food. The chicken was very juicy and tender! The restaurant staff were very kind and helpful during our meal. They even put us on a waitlist while we waited for a table and promptly called us back when they were available. Great spot for Korean food, would love to come back here again.
Very good korean food for a small town. Coming from TO we didn’t know what to expect but it was really good. Fried chicken was super crispy and the sauce is really solid. The spicy pork was just what we wanted.
This is a great place for Korean food in Kingston! There is something for everyone here, whatever your knowledge or experience with Korean food. I recommend the kimchi jeon, which is absolutely delicious, packed full of kimchi flavour. The fried chicken is also fantastic, although the breading is a little thicker than I am used to for Korean fried chicken. The jap chae here is not the best, but still very tasty. And the cheesy tteokboki was an interesting dish, not bad but not one I would order again! All in all, a great restaurant that Kingston is lucky to have!
Absolutely disappointed with the experience at this restaurant. The young man helped us to order food without asking any allergy. And you even hard to find any notice related to the allergy information. And the worst part is that they do have some allergy food inside my kid's meal after they served the food to us. I found it out and told them my kid couldn't take it since it contains life-threaten allergy food inside. Then a young girl with glasses came to us just simply asked if we want to take the meal with allergy food inside or we need to pay for double money for making another one for us. It's ridiculous either her attitude to customer or the solution she gave to us. She just pushed all the responsibility to my side and blamed me why I didn't tell them about allergy while making order. And she didn't feel any sorry about the inconvenience for the customer just kept arguing with me. I was shocked that why she treated a customer like that. We came to this restaurant with empty stomach. We are the last people who will hope there are something bad in the meal. I won't visit this restaurant again. She just ruined my night and the entire experience.
I had the best kim bab (beef), spicy seafood noodle bowl, and bulgogi! The kim bab was a sweet take on sushi with fermented veg. Very fresh. The spicy seafood bowl had big octopus pieces, shrimp, and the perfect amount of spice (7/10). The bulgogi was my favorite dish. A blend of sweet and peppery beef. I’ll be back! 🤌🏼
Worst customer service that i have experienced ever. From now i can t imagine to enter in the restaurant for my meal . Wast of money & time
I live in Toronto, and stopped by Mont Tremblant in October and ate it on my way to Ottawa in December. I plan to stop by every time I travel to another city in the future. Its better than many Korean restaurants Ive visited in Toronto! The owner is also kind. Personally, I recommend stir-fried squid, stir-fried pork, and jjamppong.
Its was excellent experience and the staff are great
Horrible. Wouldn t be surprised if they end up closing soon
Food was decent. But the service is HORRIBLE! Had an incident where we felt the chicken bulgogi was not cooked, we asked if we could switch it or cook it more- the kitchen refused and cut it up with scissors to prove it wasn t raw. They also mentioned because he ate some of it, they can t bring it back. They kept saying sorry but still weren t listening to us or coming to a compromise as they placed the food back down. We let them know we re not eating it. After the rest of the party finished eating their other dishes, we only ate the rice. Approached the cashier, asked if we needed to even pay for the dish because he only ate a bit of it. They called the owner over and the owner kept saying things like you ate half (which is NOT TRUE), she was insisting we did and kept looking over at our table. She then said we can offer you 10% off . She also said we serve a lot of chicken bulgogis and never had a complaint . It was a massive lack of responsibility on their part. It made us feel dismissed and insulted. He had a few bites, he shouldn t be paying at all especially if he was not comfortable eating the rest. We eventually came to a conclusion and they discounted the dish but even paying $9 for a few bites is insane. Side dishes were tiny, gamjatang was salty. Stomach hurt after eating those few bites. We are so appalled by the customer service we ve received. I work in customer service and I cannot BELIEVE how some people are getting away with treating their customers this way. I understand it s a family restaurant and these are tough times but that s no excuse to cut corners, skimp out and treat customers this way. Please reflect on why you wanted to get into this business if it isn t to bring a warm friendly environment to provide authentic Korean food.
By far the best gamjatang I ve had since coming to Canada!!! The best restaurants you must visit in Kingston
Excellent all around. Many thanks. - Dale Rines
Their spicy pork dish is definitely up to par.
While traveling, I searched on Google and found Dolsot Bibimbap. I really enjoyed it. It is a place visited by people of various nationalities. Highly recommended
First of all, this is not tteokboki. This is rice cake with korean fried chicken sauce.
great food just not enough meat in the bilbao Food
We had a great meal, with generous portions and the service was very good.
I recently had a disappointing experience at Gangnam style. The customer service was exceptionally poor, with the waitress displaying a frustratingly rude attitude throughout our visit. It felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Given the lack of professionalism and respect, I wouldn t recommend this place. There are plenty of other dining options where you ll be treated with the courtesy you deserve.
I had a terrible experience with both the food and the rude behavior of the employees here. I will not support this business and wouldn t recommend it to anyone.
I had the spicy pork, was very good. Wife bone soup, also very good.
The batter on the fried chicken is a bit thick.
Charging $1 for each take-out container is excessive and reflects poorly on the restaurants customer service. It s frustrating when a place adds such fees, especially when the overall experience is already disappointing...
The food is amazing and I would highly recommend it to everyone
Delicious, authentic Korean fare. Bare bones decor but big on taste, efficiency and service.
All was so tasty!!! Great service
Picked this place because of the Google review, didn t disappoint. Delicious Authentic Korean food.
WORST PORK BONE SOUP. I think the owner doesnt know what it tastes like. Not tasty at all and not worth it. Also didnt like the fried chicken because the flour coat was too thick. Overall dissatisfied.
Always delicious and willing to go the extra mile to make their customers welcomed and happy. Yummy food
There arent many Korean restaurants in Kingston, but this was the most delicious! The staff were very friendly and the service was good. The other day, he saw me leaving my coat behind and came running out to take care of it. Ive been there several times for food, and the Dolsot bibimbap was the best. I heard that you make your own kimchi. So it really tasted like eating homemade kimchi, and when I asked for more, they gave me a lot and kept asking me if I needed anything more. In addition, they said that they make all the other tteokbokki, pork cutlet sauce, and chicken seasoning themselves, and it felt like they were eating it in Korea to the extent that it tasted even better compared to the real Korea. The menu was diverse, and I felt like they put a lot of thought into the meat, especially compared to other dishes. There are many different types. Sometimes, when I have a hard time choosing a menu, I can see how much pride they take in making it as they kindly explain it and talk about the food. If I ever have to go to a Korean restaurant again, I think Ill just go here.
Veggie pancake, half order of fried chicken and pork dumplings starter, all delicious!
My partner and I used to love this place, we went regularly as the food and service was pretty good. Recently, it s been disappointing. They started charging for takeout containers, which is ridiculous and the prices that are on the menu are different from what they charge you. We went tonight to get some dinner, they close at 9pm, we got there and got our food orders in right away around approx 8:15. The server brought out our food then brought the bill to us 10 minutes later without us asking for it, then once we paid it she left at 8:40. We barely got a few bites in before they started turning off the lights and stopping the music to try and get us out. Then to really make the whole experience really uncomfortable the one worker came over and took my spoon from me and started scooping my food into a takeout container, saying they were closed and wanted to leave. My partner and I both work in the service industry and we cannot fathom providing this disgraceful service to our own customers. We were being rushed so everyone could be out by 8:55 I guess. Definitely will not be going back here.
I enjoyed their kimchi stew, very flavorful and spicy, however they dont give you a lot of banchan, only two including kimchi.
Had no idea what to get so I asked the server for suggestions. Man did he nail it!! The food was phenomenal and well priced. I can t wait to go back
Another bussin meal. Literally the best restaurant I ve found since moving back. I m not going to write a huge review like I m a wannabe food critic, but I will say this place slaps hard. A must try!
Pork bone is good, fried chicken is the worst, much worse than the fry. Oh my god, fried chicken is terrible.
I went because liked the name. Was pleasantly surprised by awesome food and service
The black bean noodles are really good and surprisingly not salty at all
Delicious, authentic Korean food. HUGE portions and good prices.
Amazing place with great service
Best fried chicken in Kingston! Try half and half with honey butter :)
Its good.
Worst gamja-tang ever had. Also seems there is hygiene issue.
The best korean restaurant in town!!
Great selection of authentic Korean dishes. Place was spacious and clean. The food was delicious and serving is huge. Service needs to be improved a bit. They got our order wrong (1 dish was served that we didn t order - just asked about it) and when we were done eating, I asked for extra gochujang to take out. They didn t seem to be willing to give some.
Food was delicious. Perfect for winter :) Flavors were on point and portions were great. I got the kimchi soup and my friend got the spicy pork (jeyuk-bokeum) which she had to take home because we couldnt finish it! Will definitely come back to try other dishes.
Great food
Can t say enough good things about the food here. Probably my number 1 place to bring friends when they re visiting Kingston. Get a fried chicken for the table and another plate or two for a group and everyone will be going home with leftovers. Delicious and good value for money. Service has always been great too.
The food here was really good! We were surprised to find such good food with authentic taste in Kingston. The menu isnt the biggest but there is a good variety of options for all different tastes. Must go again!
Yum
This place is the bomb!! I had their tofu soup and tteokbokki, which was amazing. Tofu soup (and according to my brother and mum, noodle soup too) was very tasty and well portioned. So many items on the menu. Definitely coming back here and soon to be a fav Korean place alongside podo namu.
The staff were friendly, however the food was a disappointment. We paid $30 for a spicy stew not realizing it was spam, chunks of hot dog and barely any ramen noodles. I asked for tea not knowing it would cost $7 when the bill came. What a ripe off, I will never return to this place.
Classic Korean food, including soups, noodle dishes, and bibimbap. I recommend the kimchi soup. It was excellent. Also outstanding: the udon noodles and the vegetarian dumplings. Honestly, everything we ate tasted great! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options abound. My son had the veggie dumplings, and they were very good. Kid-friendliness: Korean food is often spicy. We didnt run into a problem with my son, and certainly the atmosphere is casual and easy, but some kids may find the options weird and/or too spicy for them.
Best korean food in town. Portion, price, and flavor as well. Korean fried chicken in very well fried, and the jjigae is very well seasoned as well.
Tried the spicy stir fry squid and spicy stir fry chicken. Both tasted nice, but portions were very small for 16.99 each. Menu mentions that a side of kim chi and bean sprouts for each entree. We received 5 very small pieces of kim chi, and when we asked the more experienced server working today if we receive one each as described on the menu, she said no this is for you to share. The service from the new server that started today was lovely. She was welcoming and helped us with every question we had! Big reviews for Natalie. The food was not worth the price unfortunately.
Kimchi fried rice was wonderful, staff was nice and friendly. Definitely will visit again
If you want to infected by norovirus, have a try!
I think there may be some hygiene issues in the back kitchen. I got norovirus after eating Budae jjigae.
This is the best restaurant in Kingston in my opinion. I have been here many times and it never disappoints. The spicy pork dish is amazing - my recommendation.
Freaking espectacular fried chicken. Got it with the honey butter glaze and asked for their soy sauce on the side (even better). The half portion was sufficient for one person and can definitely feed two. Definitely drop by here.
Perfect for dinner
Food was good. Flavours were a bit dull and the honey butter chicken was way too buttery. Otherwise nice place with good ambience.
This place has the best bibimbap and Korean fried chicken Ive ever tasted! And the staff are always so kind and friendly.
we had pork cheese donkatsu and pork born soup large. and it was so taste also big portion foods. its worth to spend money!!!
Delicious food, Busy place, very reasonable prices. Enjoyed it, left feeling quite full.
GangNam Style 8/10 What we got: - D3 Boneless half and half (sweet and spicy + honey butter) - R1 Bibimbap Another Korean place on Princess St in Downtown Kingston! Gangnam Style offers many different Korean dishes and soju. The bibimbap was average but the fried chicken stole the show! The chicken was very crispy and they offer it with various sauces to chose from. **Follow @smfoodd on Instagram for more!!
I visited because I missed the taste of Korean gamjatang. Thank you for responding so kindly even though I suddenly felt unwell and changed to take-out. The taste is so delicious that 10 stars is not enough I will visit again
The food and service is always excellent, especially the spicy chicken with cheese.
Ordered chicken via Uber Eats. It was raw. Very disappointed
Super underrated place. Everyone Ive gone with has always gotten something different, and everyone loved their food.
It was our first time eating korean food and we absolutely loved it! We ordered the Japchae Bap(Stir fried crystal noodle with beef and assorted vegetables. Served with rice) and the Pork Bulgogi (Thinly sliced marinated pork with assorted vegetables and sesame oil). Both were fantastic and had a lot of flavour. In hindsight, this was a lot of food for 2 people and ended up taking half of it home. They charged us something like $1.50 for the to-go container but this place has very reasonable prices for their amazing food, so this isnt a dealbreaker for me. We have recommended this place to friends and they loved it too. We look forward to keep coming back! A big thanks to the staff, who were attentive and kind.
Amazing food I really recommend it the chicken is fabulous, definitely the best Korean restaurant in Kingston
If you are looking for a cozy Korean restaurant, here s the famous one in Kingston. Authentic Korean cuisine, good portion for reasonable price. However there s no gluten free options Food : 3/5
Why it took me so long to come here is beyond me. I had the spicy pork and it was phenomenal. Great portion size, amazing flavour and the right amount of spicy. Service was speedy and food took no time to come out. Im really looking forward to going back soon.
Delicous and flavourful! And the portions are HUGE
During my trip to Canada, I only ate hamburgers and pizza, so I felt sluggish, but after eating kimchi stew, bulgogi, and stir-fried squid, my stomach felt refreshed. Koreans love spicy kimchi. Overall, everything was delicious and the service was friendly. Kid-friendliness: A place with high chairs.
Great tasting food. Staff friendly. Great to see a spot like this in Kingston for when we stop by.
Some of the best food Ive ever had! Every time I am in kingston I always make it a point to eat here. Food : 5/5
Kingston has a solid Korean food scene, but none are better Gangnam Style. They do everything better than the competition best fried chicken, best Duk Boki, best Bimimbap.. other than their name, they can t be beat lol. Seriously, try the fried chicken, it s the stuff if dreams. And if you are going to do Duk Boki get the ramen add and dumpling add ins, it s one hell of a meal. Side story: their winter being opening a few years back now my wife and I were the only one dinning in. A homeless man wandered in and asked the waitress about their soup. She gave him some options and he asked about smaller portions since couldn t afford the full size. She turned to the owner looking for help, he graciously came over and took the man to a seat and said he would make him any soup on the menu no charge. This is a new restaurant, still not making money, and they were already helping the community.
Friendly service. Delicious food.
Been there for dinner, it has a traditional Korean menu. The food is great and has a lot of flavors. I recommend the pork bone soup. It is spicy, hot, and delicious! Great service and reasonable prices.
Great service, everyone was very kind and efficient. The food was delicious and there were many options still to try. The portions are generous, so have that in mind. I will be coming back many times.
Had the teokbeokee and a beer. Was good but very westernised, the spicy sauce wasnt really very hot.
Amazing food. Enjoyed everything we had, but unfortunately, since its been a couple weeks since our visit, I forgot the name of our dishes. I believe my boyfriend had Udon noodles, and I had the Katsu chicken... i think... whatever we had, it was absolutely delicious!
Food was ok but not great. Usually Korean food comes with at least 5 side dishes but this place only give U small portion of kimchi and bean sprouts. Service was not very good, we had to ask someone to take our order. Price is ok for Korean food but not for the quality. Need to make some improvements ~
Really lovely people, and delicious food...I mean seriously delicious! I popped in recently on the recommendation of a friend and ordered some take out. It was after a long and tiring day of work, I was absolutely famished by the time but let me tell you - it hit the spot! Will be ordering again tonight, try it for yourself. And again, the staff are also super pleasant to deal with. :)
The food proportion is so small, not like the picture at all. Totally not worth the money I paid. Feel like cheating
Kingston restaurant review 1/50 Great place to go if you want to try korean cusine food. Recommend korean style fried chicken. And it often play kpop songs make me(as a huge kpop fan) satisfied.. Food
Good atmosphere good server good cuisines
This is the only restaurant Ive visited in Kingston and it did not disappoint! The portions are generous and the service is sweet and friendly. I wish they had the bone in fried chicken as well. This place is perfect for a date or a family dinner.
Decent place for a quick bite
Great food but adding 15% mandatory tip because you count two very small children(both under 5) as adults is not cool. Also charging for the takeout container and adding a tip for it is even more ridiculous. Some of the wait staff was nice but one in particular was really unfriendly. The overall experience didnt justify the price we paid and its likely among the worst among all korean restaurants Ive been to.
The food here is great. The waiter is very nice and enthusiastic especially is Emily. She is very friendly and nice. I love eating here. I will come here again
Recommend the pork bone soup ... this continues to be our go to and comfort food when visiting Kingston. The presentations and the freshness remain the best feature. But be prepared to pay extra for takeout containers. Update: service review increased because of their prompt and sincere response. Please let customers know about the extra charge and your mission to be environmentally friendly in your menu and social media. I think this will bring in more students and customers with similar mindsets.
We ordered a pork bone soup and a beef bulgogi for take out today. When we got back to the hotel today, we found out that they only provided one bowl of rice, while both dishes were supposed to come with one bowl each. Also, only a very small portion of kimchi was provided as side dish. All Korean restaurants we have been provide many side dishes even for take out order.
Tonight, I ordered the pork bone soup for takeout, and all I can say is WOW! I was not disappointed. The flavors were exquisite, and the portion size was generous. After reading some other reviews, specifically about the seasoned Korean fried chicken, Im already planning my next visit to try more off the menu. This restaurant truly delivers an authentic and delightful Korean culinary experience. Highly recommended!
I love this. Literally dream of their tteokbokki in my sleep . I have ordered several items, and this place can do no wrong.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! Their Korean food tastes very authentic and the staff are very polite. One of their waitresses named Miranda was so sweet and caring when she was dealing with my order, really appreciated her service! I love their food and would definitely recommend it to anyone in Kingston!
Not a fan
The fried chicken is legit here. Very crispy and juicy. Half and half was more than enough for 2 people to share. The cheese tteokbulgi was interesting, worth trying once. The pork kimbap wasnt what I expected. Not as flavourful as I wanted, and I was missing the other veggies that are usually included in the veggie/beef versions. Ill be skipping this one next time. Side dishes very limited, bean sprouts and kimchi. Could do better here.
The service was really bad, especially the attitude of the employees.
Went to this restaurant spontaneously, and I loved it! I definitely recommend the fried chicken! 10/10 :)
Delicious food, there is no question about it, when you order from here you know its going to be delicious! Highly recommend their Korean fried chicken, its absolutely addictive and the portion size is perfect! Looking forward to coming back!
Great food. Dishes are very big in size. We actually had too much, but took a doggie bag home. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level but probably just enough space to move around with wheelchair.
Highly recommend this restaurant very good flavourful food
A bit more quantity would be much appreciated!
The seafood noodle soup is DELICIOUS and the seafood tastes fresh! Amazing
Disappointing. Ordered takeout and had somewhat high expectations; the bulgogi had little to no flavour, the spicy squid was good in flavour but had a fishier taste than we are used to with squid. Also had dumplings to start and they had zero taste.
Stopped halfway through a winter bike ride in need of something war. The spicy soon tofu soup was incredible. Very good service as well.
First time visiting Kingston and had dinner at GangNam Style - everything was so fresh and delicious! The bulgogi beef was some of the tastiest I ve ever had. Next time I m in town, I will definitely be back :)
Lovely owners and really delicious food!
The food was absolutely amazing. And well priced.
Amazing kimchi fried rice and black bean paste noodles ( ). Generous portions but service can get a little slow when dining in.
10/10 Half and half chicken is a must. You will make much more money if you are open till later past 9pm.
Best korean resturant Ive ever tried with reasonable price.
Ordered the beef bibimbap - components were there but it was missing flavour unfortunately :(. Not sure if the meat wasn t marinaded or if the bowl wasn t hot enough to get that char/Smokey taste? Something was definitely missing. Also - the beef used was ground beef - vs a sliced one which was new to us. Still not bad but was definitely missing some flavour that we are usually used to when having bibimbap.
Great food!
1. Pork bone soup, delicious! It tastes different from Missy Owl. 2. Spicy fried pork, Fengshen, sweet and spicy, very delicious. 3. The tofu soup is also delicious. There are two types, spicy and non-spicy, both delicious. 4. Seafood pancake. Before the epidemic, there was a lot of seafood. Although there is not as much seafood now as before, it is still delicious. 5. Fried chicken I usually eat honey butter flavor and sweet and spicy or sweet and sour, I forgot. Mekong, gangnanstyle and dimsum have been responsible for my daily takeout and dine-in service for the past 4 years of my university life.
Highly recommend. Fantastic flavors, and friendly staff. Five Stars
Always wonderful service and delicious food. Get the bulgogi pot!!!
Super crispy fried chicken, as in rip open the roof of your mouth crispy. Perfect amount of salt too would def ear again
Nice and delicious. Good location at downtown and pretty seats
Delicious food. Kind, polite and friendly service. Would like to try again. Very attentive.
Gangnam Style implies a posh & whimsical Korean lifestyle & dance, none of which you will find here! Instead it s a down-to-earth food experience at this Kingston restaurant. This starts from the basic decor to the Korean lady traditionally running the kitchen. Menu prices were very reasonable, catering to the student demographic. Gam Ja Tang (pork bone soup) was a pleasant surprise, with large pieces of pork neck bone and fall-off-the-bone meat in the mildly spicy fresh kimchi broth. But the potato could ve used more time to soak up the bold soup flavours. The colourful Bibimbap was served with a nice runny egg but the chopped vegetables caused stirred rice to be watery. That was atoned by a popping platter of Korean Seasoned Fried Chicken in sweet & spicy gochujang sauce. The boneless half portion was huge. Pieces were crunchy & saucy in one bite! This restaurant is a short drive up Princess St from downtown with city parking nearby. Both patio & indoor dining options were available. Service was smooth & easygoing. Glad to enjoy this spot for an authentic Korean meal among the few Asian food options in town.
Great customer service and fantastic food.
First time eating here and trying Koren food of any kind. The beef bulgogi was exce and will definitely have it again.
Best korean restaurant in kingston visited with 11 students from all different countries. They all loved it. Not that much spicy to have.
Funny story: I m a regular here and I always order their spicy chicken. Me and my bestie always comes here for food comfort since high school. Every time we get depressed or after exams or even celebration we order their chicken. I m so regular here that the one time me and my new boyfriend picked up some chicken and the waiter approached me and mentioned my name for the order. There were multiple orders on the table btw. My boyfriend was shocked and laughed after coming out of the restaurant and told me how I became 5 seconds celebrity from eating too much of their chicken. After 1 year of feeding him their chicken, it became his favourite chicken too and he even asks me to order it for him lol. The food here is not just a restaurant food for me, I m not even a korean but it s definitely a taste of home. I even made our neighbours like it and we order it for them when we re having bbq in the summer. This food will always be my comfort food and I love their gamjatang too. Please dont change.
Ive only tried take out so I cant speak to the restaurant itself. The food however is amazing and in generous portions. We tried the rice cakes and the fried chicken and both were delicious.
Korean fried chicken is really great! The weight is also very sufficient! Honey butter tastes delicious, but its a little greasy when you eat too much. Sweet and spicy flavor is a little spicy for me, after eating will always drink water. Great overall!! I will come back later
First time trying this place and it was really good. So flavourful. Must try. So far best food Ive had in kingston during my visit.
Couldnt be better. Especially donkasu is great.
The ambience is okay. Food was okay too. I personally did not like the Fried chicken with seasoning. I could taste the flour used to fry it. The pancake was great! Did not expect it to be that huge. Overall okay experience on expensive side.
Food is ok, a bit salty or sweet side.
Food was fresh and full of flavours. The quality was awesome and totally worth every cent!
Kimci soup pork 5 star. Bibimbap 4
nice waiters and food was super filling and warm, although a little pricey
Broth is not very strong compared with the Korean style food we tried in YEG, but still good taste. Had a good dinner there.
Excellent food, and relatively new competitor to the famous PoduNamu restaurant just down the street. In general, the food here is roughly the same quality but the service is always much better.
I got the pork bulgogi and it was very good, my 5 friends and I all enjoyed our food. It came quickly, was served hot and tasted great. The only downside was the price in relation to the serving size. My meal was 21 bucks with a 20% tip and the plate wasnt that big. If it was maybe 4 bucks cheaper or so it would be perfect. Vibes were nice, name is dope. Overall good.
Foods are delicious and their staffs are nice and attentive. Will come back soon to try their other menu.
Busy restaurant. Seemed like a fun place for a hang out with friends. I ordered takeout so Ill update if i dine-in. The breaded bone-in Korean style fried chicken i ordered was too breaded. Some bites seemed to be just breadcrumbs, good favour though
Amazing food, amazing service, the atmosphere is really good, enjoyed the overall experience. Worth visiting with friends and family, worth the price
My favourite is pork bone soup. I had been there since they open. Always my favourite.
Emily is always nice and we love coming here :)
Its alright
Enjoyed the food, quick service and a nice atmosphere
Been here a few times, good spot for Korean food. Definitely would recommend the fried chicken and soups!
Overall great tasting and presentation...increase rice portions so we can share
The floor of the washroom was really slippery. The meal was delicious. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian plates included in the menu with a little V. Kid-friendliness: Several families were there at the time
Best place in kingston for Korean food. Never a bad plate, quick service, always excellent
This is the best restaurant in Kingston! I ordered delivery because I was sick, but I dont think Ive ever seen a better Korean restaurant than this! When koreans say thus place is the best korean restaurant in Kingston, just listen to em.
Favourite Korean place! Always consistent, delicious, and fresh. The fried chicken and kimchi fried rice are some favourites!
Enjoyed our bulgogi, boneless half & half chicken, and hot pot bibimbap. It was very delicious and it is the authentic Korean food taste which makes it awesome. The staff is friendly and their service is great. I highly recommend this place! Check this place out when you are wondering about what to eat for lunch or dinner.
Family dinner out!!! Did not disappoint. Every dish was delicious!
Food is unbelievable, and great service!
Excellent meal. Had the Jajang Myun. Having lived for several years in Korea I can say the taste is authentic. Great prices too.
We stopped at this place on our road trip and it was delicious, especially the budae jjigae. The portions were big and the staff is super friendly. Definitely checkout this place if youre in the area!
The Korean fried chicken and beef bulgogi were amazing! The service was great as well. 10/10 would recommend!
Best Korean restaurant !!
My family enjoyed a delicious meal here tonight! You can tell the Korean food they serve here is authentic and homecooked. The service was attentive and friendly too. The waitress was really sweet and also gave us some tea after our meal as we waited for the rain to pass by. Highly recommend Gangnam Style for anyone living or visiting Kingston!
Unhygienic. Found cooked flies inside the soup
Not the best maintained. Rude owner/ manager
Authentic korean restaurant! Friendly staffs and owner thank you
Patio is so nice and pretty.
Food was crazy good, clean environment when i went there, but a bit expensivecon avg imo, although ymmv depending on what you get
Yesterday was our second time dining here. The food is incredible. The staff is very friendly. The server we had was such a lovely person and she was very friendly and super helpful. Our go to dinner spot in Kingston.
Really liked the food, quite authentic food and nice service as well :)
The most recommended is the large portion of fried chicken! The portion is huge The tofu soup is also delicious
Tasty Korean food! Really good service!
absolutely amazing food and the waiter was so friendly. Ive eaten a LOT of kim chi soups, and this was one of the best. great selection for vegetarians. will definitely come back here.
This is probably the best Korean restaurant in town. Delicious food and great hospitality! We love seeing Emily every time. She s such an excellent server!
Great service. They gave us some games for entertainment until our food arrives. The food was great and very good portion.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience. Delicious, fresh food & wonderful, kind and warm service. Our waitress, Emily was particularly special, taking time and consideration answering our questions about the menu, and really went above and beyond! She was really conscience especially of my vegetarian diet - and the food was spectacular! Anne, one of the owners, even warmly escorted us out and thanked us for coming. Really felt the heart of this business!
I write as a veteran muncher whose long career has been much enriched locally over the past few decades by the appearance of an impressively large number of cuisine options from Asia. First Chinese, followed by Indian and then a deluge of Thai, Cambodian, Vietnamese and Japanese. Lucky old muncher. Until fairly recently my tempting range of options did not include any Korean offerings. And then an opportunity arose on Princess Street in the form of GangNam Style . I confess to hesitating for some time. The menu was extensive and colourful, but seemed quite different in many ways. What was old dog to do, faced with new culinary tricks. Pleased to report that he took a deep breath, went in and ordered - bit the Bulgogi, so to speak - and is so glad that he did. Indeed different from other offerings, but what a terrific difference. Numerous new vistas food-wise, first-class staff and a very positive vibe generally! Most happy to have discovered it.
Really great spot for Korean food! My boyfriend and I got the fried chicken, cheese tteokbokki and bibimbap for take-out all very good. The staff was friendly as well. We definitely will be returning.
Super authentic. The food was absolutely delicious and our server was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Food is phenomenal and service is great! The server was really nice and friendly. I love that their handout menu included pictures as well it definitely helps people who have a hard time deciding which one to choose. (Although everything looks so good it was still a struggle! Lol.) Would love to go back again for sure.
Food was good and authentic but service was a bit slow. Enjoyed the cheese grilled tteokbokki though.
