This is the go-to place when we travel between Mtl and TO. Way better than anything else of Division road and better than most Shawarma in Toronto.

Excellent Syrian/lebanese food, fresh made food straight from Beirut. I brought my friends here and they all loved it.

Crammed full of cheap rice and very little chicken on top. For $55 dollars, I was expecting better. I ordered the family meal for 4 and it was quite bland compared to other shawarma restaurants in Kingston.

I just had the best falafel of my life! At first, I thought this place might not have much to offer vegetarians, but I was completely wrong. Their vegetarian platter is incredible its not only filling, but also satisfying in every way. Every bite was a delight, and I left feeling completely happy and full. Keep up the great work.

I m not sure why this place is rated so high. The chicken shawarma wrap is extremely dry and does not taste good. The lentil soup is nothing special. Do not recommend.

Been here several times in the past with good experiences. However, this time the chicken was so dry, hard and inedible. I have emailed them before posting the review, with my comment on this as it might have been an off day for the food. However, after several days, they ignored and refused to make things right. the chicken was like eating cardboard, ive almost never written a bad review, but this was a terrible experience.

We always stop here on the way to Toronto from Montreal. The food is tasty and the staff are always friendly. I usually always get shawarma but the owner offered a falafel to sample and I just might switch up my order next time. Everything is made in house. Highly recommend.

Go here. You will be surprised! It is so good! Dont let the fact this is located in a discount outlet mall plaza. It is looks like any small fast food place from the outside. But it is deceiving. I honestly had very low expectations going in thinking it was just a fast food place with food likely made from frozen. Well, I WAS SO WRONG. The owners make everything fresh and from scratch. Tradition Syrian style food. You will love it. Especially the lentil soup, which is chefs kiss. Go surprise yourself and order your meal from them. Youre gonna taste the difference.

I ordered (to go) mixed shawerma sandwich based on recommandation by the guy at the counter. I went home and to my surprise my dinner was a sandwich full of salade, garnish and barely any meat :( I spent my money in some salad. I was not looking while he was preparing my combo, i trusted its a good place. Later, I had to rush many times to bathroom, something was not right. What a dissapointment, not only waste of money and health.

Excellent place to have a shawarma. We were a party of 7 and we order family platter beef and another one chicken and topped it up with side falafel. All what we had was amazing and taste good. One recommendation, rice was too much for a family platter of 4, and the beef/chicken portion could be increased with reducing rice. We almost ate nothing from it. The owner was so friendly with us. Will surely be back again when in Kingston.

I ordered $200+ worth of food. The customer service was nice and the lady was sweet, but unfortunately the food was okay. My main issue is we all had a stomach ache after eating the food. I was throwing up all night. We made a trip here since it was mid point between the islands we were going to from Toronto, so made a 2 hour trip. I really did want to like the food and the reviews made it seem like it was going to be promising, but us all getting a stomach ache and me vomiting got me really disappointed in wasting the money.

The restaurant is in the outlet mall near the public washroom. We happened to stop by there . I had the best falafel ever in my life! Also ordered chicken and beef shawarma wraps which are good. Just wish the sauce is less watery. My kid loves the potatoes which are well seasoned. I am not familiar with the white thick garlic sauce that comes with the potatoes , so I think they can be less generous on that. We loved the fatoush salad too Kid-friendliness: You can pick the toppings to put in your wrap just like Pita Pit. Also has Caesar and garden salad

Tried falafel on side and veg falafel platter . Amazing taste , amazing feel of Damascus. Only it was smoky inside the restaurant and loud Damascus music played from kitchen so lot of echo in dining area. But they set up antique decor which was interesting. Over all :3

Shawarma Damascus after a 25 min drive from Gananoque. We were a group of 8 of us & each and everyone of us felt satiated after the meal. They catered to our individual requirements and prepared everything fresh. It was hot, flavourful and had great quantity. PS - I grew up in the Middle East. Arabic food is something I cherish. This hit the spot. Come to Toronto you guys. Downtown needs you! We all had the shawarma plate (chicken and beef), wraps and falafel. I m sure the other dishes on the menu would be just as great.

Of all the shawarmas Ive visited, this place had the best chicken shawarma platter! The meat is tender and sliced in lovely pieces, the pickles and turnip are not over-salted, the salad is fresh, the potatoes are delicious, and the garlic and hummus are scrumptious. Very generous portions here. We had the falafel platter (which happens to be vegan) and we were blown away by how large the platter was. There s turmeric rice, falafel, potatoes, hummus, garlic sauce, and a side salad in there. Some pita too. I wish they would provide more hummus and less garlic sauce as it s very overpowering. Great spot to grab a big meal!

Every time we go from Toronto to Cornwall or vice versa, we stop here. The Shawarma is to die for. We got a family platter so that we can have bunch of leftovers. The portions are awesome sizes! My only complaint is that it was absolutely freezing inside even with my winter jacket. My spouse was also cold. There was a family who came in and one of the parents went back to the car to get coats for everyone.

Had chicken shwarma wrap, falafel wrap and poutine to go. The wraps were amazing. Falafel made fresh. Food took a while because everything was made to order which I didnt mind. But if you are in a rush, order ahead even if you eat in. Place looks like it was just renovated. Very open and spacious. My only issue was the poutine. It was packaged in a tightly sealed container. Understood because I ordered a dish with gravy. By the time I got to my destination, it was soggy and the gravy became water so it was almost a soupy mess. I can tell the fries were crisp as the edges still had a crunch. The dish was still very hot. I think if they invested in better packaging, the poutine would be better. However, I encourage you to order if eating in. It still tasted good. It is a bit pricey here compared to other places in the area but you get what you pay for.

Very poor quality, stopped by on dec 27th 2023 on my way back from Toronto, took a large donner combo which tatsed nothing,a portion of rice (disgating), a poor salad (3 or 4 ingrediants) and 3 kebba for 50$, doesnt worth it at all, tasted very bad, the worst shawarma Ive ever had, dont recommand it at all, dont waste your time and money.

Re: one by 401 just not the same taste/quality as previous owner :( Hardly any chicken in the shawarma, and of the tiny pieces that were on it, they were mostly dark, dark brown/red (cooked blood I imagine), some black chucks, veins, slimy and hard pieces (not sure what they were). I had to toss it after seeing that there was hardly any actual meat . Nice owners/staff, and nice interior.

The best fattoush salad Ive had outside of the Middle East.

Unfortunately this was a very underwhelming experience, and I really cant recommend this place. We ordered a chicken shawarma wrap and chicken fingers / fries. For $15.00 we got four tiny fingers that were over cooked and dry, We couldnt eat them. The fries were undercooked and not seasoned. My shawarma was okay... Way too much garlic and again, overcooked dry chicken. For $30+ dollars this meal should have been much, much better. Ive had shawarma many many times at locations all over Mississauga, Toronto, Hamilton. So I have a good comparison point. Hopefully they improve moving forward, however I will definitely not be stopping in again.
