625 Princess St, Kingston, ON K7L 1E2, Canada
Unpretentious restaurant doling out familiar Pakistani food in a relaxed, homey setting.
I look forward to eating here as it's always a great experience.
Take out only at time of this review. Food is spicy but good. Closest to authentic Pakistani restaurant in Kingston.
Little quantity for the price, vegetable not cooked properly, too much oil. The complementary additional rice is just the way to reduce the quantity of the main dish, which was also not up to the mark. They should always ask the customer, if they need so called complementary rice. Upon enquiring, the staff expained in rude manner. I'll never go back again or recommend anyone. This is my last visit to this restaurant.
During my tenure of approximately two years in Napanee, I frequently visited Rahim's restaurant in Kingston after work. The exceptional quality of the cuisine and the graciousness of the owners left a lasting impression on me. I eagerly anticipate my next opportunity to visit Kingston, as I intend to dine at Rahim's on multiple occasions.
We used to come here for dine-in before the pandemic when they still had the all-you-can-eat buffet and it was always great. Since the pandemic we have been getting take outs from there at least once a month and have always enjoyed the food. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about in terms of taste and quality/quantity. It’s a lot of food, especially for the price. We usually get chicken and vegetarian dishes and it’s always tasty and hot. It’s a small family-run business, since the pandemic it’s only Rahim and his wife working there. We never had a bad experience with them and hope they continue to make delicious food for years to come.
Rahim’s Cuisine is an alright place to go if you’re looking for some Pakistani food in Kingston. During our time there we ordered various curries and biryani. The biryani was good, it was a little different to the usual Pakistani styled biryani I had expected, however, it was good. The curries, however, we’re not up-to standard. Firstly, the quality of the curry was decent in terms of freshness and ingredients, however, the taste was not great. For the price you’re paying you’d expect the curry to taste amazing, but it was satisfactory. Secondly, the quantity of the curries was too small. It wasn’t worth the price. Overall if anyone is interested in visiting I would recommend the biryanis, good quantity and decent taste.
Went to meet Rahim and his wife June after 12 years. The food is still as good. I would recommend it. We had the shrimp biryani (the reason we came back to eat here is this) and we also tried Lahore chicken and bhoona lamb. We got everything in spicy and I was so happy o did not have to add any type of spicy pickle or hot sauce. Everything was prepared fresh and was nice and warm. Regardless of what others have said - the food was delicious and tasty. The aesthetics of the place maybe deceiving but the food is great!
If you enjoy Pakistani food, DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a disgrace to the Pakistani culture. First off, service was awful and food took forever to heat up. I say heat up because it's clearly not authentic and was definitely not cooked there. The naan is from the frozen grocery store brand and overpriced for $2 a naan. When you can go to the store and get 5 for the same price, plus when you make them they won't be stale. Kabobs tasted like freezer burn and rice was not cooked well. The decor is ugly and distasteful, a mix of Indian, Chinese, and other south east Asian countries.
One of the best biryani i have ever had
Bad food
Unfortunately not open to dine, which is difficult given the location
Ordered Lahori Chicken, it was not properly cooked and it had an unpleasant smell. The rice was decent but I wont be going again.
Great food, the biryani is especially delicious!
Some of the worst food I have ever had in my life
Will not recommend, please avoid this restaurant Worst worst food!! Very disappointing Price too higher
Got Chicken Biryani with Raita, Aloo-Saag and Chicken Tikka Masala and butter Naan . I absolutely loved it
Great food.
Last night Old and hard rice was mixed with fresh in biryani and chicken was raw inside. Was first and last visit.
amazing place for halal seekers! Food is full of desi flavor, also delicious. Staff are friendly and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. Highly recommend as halal pace!
Food wasnt good. Long waiting time.
The people who are running the restaurant in kingston are seniors they are trying to give their best at this age. They are very kind-hearted and welcoming. They are giving discounts to students and other people. So dont expect more, just fill your tummy when youre hungry.
Came in late and ordered their chicken Tikka masala. Owners were nice and food was made to order. Food was great and excellent portion for the price.
We order chicken karahie & some daal. Food was ok. Very dated restaurant We were traveling from Toronto to Montreal & on our way we tried. Not very clean as well. Not going to come back again.
A couple days ago, me and my family came looking for some authentic Pakistani food, and what we got was not even close. Firstly, they have their living arrangements inside the dining area in the corner of the restaurant, which we hadnt noticed until we left. The main dining area itself was unclean and unsanitary. The server was rude, impolite and uptight, not welcoming at all, and argued when we asked for a simple glass of water, which they didnt have, not to mention the water had stuff floating inside. As we went to go call on our server, we went to the kitchen and saw the most unclean, unsanitary, disgusting kitchen Ive ever witnessed in my years of living. Nothing was scrubbed, washed, cleaned, and the chef, well the chef was sitting on a chair drooling. It looked like none of their pans, pits, spoons, spatulas, grills were cleaned in the last couple years. Now, to the food, it was horrible, distasteful, and left us with upset stomachs for a couple days. Nothing about this was authentic at all, it smelled awful, and it tasted old like frozen food, but it also had a raw taste to it. Now if you thought all of this was bad, when we went go wash our hands, we noticed something so disturbing it made my stomach turn, they had medicine and rash cream and literal butt ointment laying on a table in the middle of the dining area... butt ointment. I would not recommend you to go to this place, and I would definitely urge the health inspectors to make a surprise visit to see what horrors this restaurant has to offer. Its an unfit eating establishment that nobody should go to.
Fine
Only Allah can save this place. Only saving grace was Mr Rahim himself. Not worth it at all.
Best vegetable Biryani in whole Kingston
Extremely disappointing ordered the chicken briyani. The rice was NOT flavourful at all very bland. Very questionable chicken pieces in there definitely was not cooked with the rice. It was like heated up and throw in. Probably was good at one point but the owners feel like they do not care.
Dated but comfortable interior seating. Service was reasonable - no issues, some communication challenges but nothing noteworthy. Food was excellent, chicken was perfectly cooked and succulent. Popadoms were heavily oiled, tasted good but the visible oil droplet coating would deter some.
With all due respect to previous reviews. We went because of those reviews , very dessapointed in food quality and cleanliness unfortunately being a halal restaurant they keep the premises clean it cost nothing but a little caring. I will not be visiting again
Please dont order from this place , worst food , less quantity with double prices.....better sleep hungry than to order food from this place ....wonder how is restaurant is still open.
Unbelievable food ! Only in Kingston for one evening and had tandoori chicken with appetizer platter This food is amazing
Some of the best Chicken curry Ive had. The couple is so sweet. I definitely recommend.
I buy food from here EVERY SINGLE DAY, and it is by far one of the best Pakistani cuisines ive personally ever had, and im from the GTA! From all the Indian/Pakistani restaurants here Rahims will always be top tier. The chicken curry and chicken tikka masala are TOP TIER, and if your looking for something refreshing DO NOT FORGET THE MANGO LASSI! As a fellow Indian this is the best mango lassi I have ever had, and coming from the GTA, Rahims food never made me miss home. I HIGHLY recommend coming here!
In three years of service, I have never had a bad experience ordering from Rahims. Food is always delicious and service is always friendly and punctual! I sincerely recommend Rahims Cuisine to anyone who lives in, or is passing through Kingston and is looking for hearty, wholesome, and flavourful meals.
Only take out
Worst Biriyani and chicken curries. Never try this place
I recommend getting the Chicken Tikka Masala, and Saag Aloo. And if you have a sweet tooth; their homemade chocolate cake, it s always moist and fresh.
If this restaurant was in Toronto area i would have given 2 stars, but given it is location in Kingston and limited number of restaurants of similar kind in the area i am giving it 4 stars, they only have take out and it is best to call them and place the order. The taste is ok, and ask them not to put curry or stuff on the top of the rice. Naan is really nice and fresh.
food taste very bad. Looks like the food was sitting outside for a long time
Midocre taste. Not authentic taste. We ordered pakore, beef seekh kebab and naan. Alhumdullillah it was halal and nut free. Price and compare to quality is normal.
Was giving a order in English I said one thing in urdu that I want 4 naan too he owner said what type of men you are ordering in English or Urdu! Does that matter ? Such a racist place
Very rude service. As tourists looking for halal food in Kingston we arrived at their location but the instructions on the door is to call them. When they said food will take 20 mins we politely said thanks but the lady yelled at us saying its not fast food. I understand wait times for order but we may not have the time to wait she was very rude and hung up.
Dine in was closed so ordered take out. Food was terrible. Ordered beef and lamb biryani. Spice was clumped in one side and the other side was completely bland. Not worth the price at all.
Not a bad place but also nothing special about it !
Great service and awesome food. Rahim and his wife provide great and efficient service. They are hardworking and have never let me down with the quality of their dishes; and I ve been ordering from them for years now. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Waste of money, no taste at all
Great food. Taste, quantity and price were excellent.
Great spicy biryani!
Best Pakistani food Ive ever had.
One of our favourite restaurants in Kingston. The food is very tasty and the prices are very reasonable. Cooking times are quite fast too. They also have free delivery for students. Ive seen some negative comments here saying its a bad Pakistani restaurant, but in my Pakistani friends opinion the food is legit and he would go there every week. I really liked dining in when they had the buffet, but thats not really an option now with COVID-19 restrictions. Hopefully we can do that again soon!
I enjoyed my food selection. I will be getting my briyanis from here exclusively! The service is always friendly and professional. The price is extremely reasonable compared to other establishments in the near by 10 km vicinity. The portions are great. The spicy level is catered towards a non South Asian palate - arguable so for business interests - so even the extra hot for me is just mild. However, I dont understand the sheer hatred from the South Asian community complaining about decorations and cost? Seriously dudes, get some action in your lives! Rahim makes good affordable food! Support #Local.
Reasonable prices and tasty
Flavour was excellent, portion size plentiful, very fresh. Thank you
It depends. Sometimes you are lucky here, sometimes not. I ordered takeout on lockdown, the food was good enough and tasty, but only one meal was available. They are very spicy there, so be ready.
Worst lassi nd naans ever.
Food was ok but lady at reception is so rude! Unnecessarily rude. Btw this is the first place in my entire life which sells separate raita for biryani and man what a rip off 4 dollars for smallest raita serving!
Please please please never go that place. They are not Pakistani and sell frozen and very worst quality food. Naans are grocery store DEEP brand and frozen, just oven and deliver. Rice are almost bird quality and tasteless. Chicken is 10 grade frozen. We are all vomiting and garbage it. They charge us almost $300 for 04 small orders. We are now going to Kingston s Food inspector tomorrow morning to complaint it.
5 star is totally fakes, realty s is this restaurant expired food, is bad for Health, beware of this place, all frozen foods, he just put in microwave and served, smell is so bad, my children was sick after one bite,
Is very bad food, please please do not go there, you will sick after eating expired food, bad smell and all frozen food, he just did sale microwave food
Best biriyani in town!! I dont know why I see a lot of negative comments here. My friend gets biriyani from here almost everyday. Very reasonable and friendly place.
Spice has no price here at Rahims, buy what you want and they actually offer hot and extra hot dishes. Thank goodness.
Bad customer service
Bad customer service.. Arrogant behaviour even to the regular customers. Worst dine-in experience.. not recommended....
Very bad customer service the lady working there was so rude.
Very bad customer service the owner is very rude and the food is not fresh don t eat from there if you have a concern about your health
Bad customer service
Very worst customer service and old food. The lady is very rude to customers. Food doesn t taste that great and it s not worth for the money we spent.
Rey small portions it will not fill even a half or a quarter of a person I got the bill of 37 dollars for nothing I didn t even take a picture because it was not worthy please take my advise and don t go there unless you are rich and don t like to eat that much
Amazing, great service, Indian food
Stopped one day for lunch and now Im a regular. If you enjoy true east Indian cuisine you have to try this place. Rahim is a master with spices and neither over or under does it. His chicken dishes, especially the Butter Chicken are completely unforgettable and hes just a super nice guy. If you go in you will be remembered and treated like a king/queen. Ordering was fast and easy. All of my menu questions were answered fully. Plentiful vegan options. Feels like home. Food was delicious! I still have a meals worth of leftovers for tomorrow. This is now my go-to vegan takeout place. Love it!
I ordered butter chicken, chicken biryani and naan. The butter chicken didnt taste like butter chicken. The biryani was below average. The naan were the frozen triangular ones, likely just heated up. Overall, food was below average. Quantity of food was average servings. Our order was during COVID-19 times and was a takeout only.
Excellent Pakistani food. Chef Rahim one of the best cook in town and his cuisine is tasty.
Excellent biryani and buffet
Good food. You can add white meat to your dish for $2
I gave one star because zero star doesnt exist. Waste of money, they have low quality food. They coocked the plan rice and gave different fancy names to same dish. We ordered chicken biryani, rice and chicken curry, they gave us same stale rice for all 3 orders. Was costly. I wasted my money and will never go there. I wont recommend this to anyone.
Worst place.. dont go and waste money..
Tooo bad services, liars, ordered at 8:30pm , waited for 2 n half hours , but these people have no respect for the customers..We called n still they said we are on our way . No one showed u till 11:00 PM .. Felt so bad, n even the food tastes not so good . Hypocrisy still prevails in them.DISGUSTING
The food is really up to the standard seen in India and probably the best in Kingston Ontario. The service is also one of the best.
Worst biriyani I ever had !!
This place has the best ethical biryani They always make it fresh Drove yesterday all the way from oshawa to kingston to have their biryani And that s how biryani should be Its perfect !!
Overpriced and tasteless food. Asked for chicken curry and rice. They stuffed them together in a super tiny foil bowl - no trace of where is curry and where is rice and where is chicken. No different than biriyani. Then why two different items? Total wastage of money. Not going again.
Very friendly and pandemic precautions are taken. Preorder for delivery and pick up is necessary due to COVID 19. 10% discount if you pick up. No dine in service. They expect you to use tap for payments rather than Cash.
Stopped here after reading positive reviews. It says dine in is available but it wasnt. That was a bit disappointing. Was traveling from morrisburg to kitchener. Ordered tandoori chicken but got tandoori chicken masala with rice as a base. Was expecting dry tandoori chicken. Maybe it is made like that. Lamb biryani was good. Overall the food tasted good. I asked for a couple of disposable plates or at least something in which i can eat inside my car, but the old lady working there didnt give me those even after i insisted a little.
Great place and hospitality. Went here many times.
Delicious food and great customer service.
Best Indian food in Kingston hands down! Great local business that offers exceptional service! I recommend the butter chicken or buffet they have on weekends.
Good place with nice food and friendly staff
Delicious and freshly cooked food with friendly staff, all at one place
The food is great and generously portioned. If you catch them on a good day, it s well worth a try. Unfortunately if they re busy, you are left standing around unacknowledged, which kind of sucks.
One of the best places in town for some Pakistani food. The prices are amazing and the portions are more than enough to fill me up. Its a hidden gem that needs to be found by all
Best authentic Indian and Pakistani food in Kingston. So flavourful and delicious. I am from India so I can honestly say that it taste exactly like food from India. Very friendly owner and staff. Great experience for sure.
We have been there several times and the food is excellent every single time. The service is good too.
Great food and staff. Very excited for leftovers! Didn t catch the name of the blonde women at front, but she was lovely.
11/10 would recommend. delicious food, amazing food... did I mention the food? :)
I Loved It Here! $14 for a buffet. Spacious restaurant with friendly service and a real authentic family-owned feel.
The yummiest home made quality indian/Pakistani food in Kingston. I could never stand spicy food before. But Rahims is an exception!! I couldnt resist its yummy authentic food, all it needs is a big bowl of yogurt to tome it down for me and enjoy it. They also have open buffet 3 days a week Fri, sat and Sunday. its a great opportunity to try different dishes :)
Great service and amazing food. Best price-food ratio you can get in Kingston. I went to the open buffet they have every Sat, Sun and Mon. Absolutely loved it. 10/10
Pakistani/Indian cuisine, if youre looking for a taste of home, Rahim is the best in town or anywhere else. Hes unique of cooking is much different from other Indian and Pakistani dishes. The meat and vegetable samosas are the best and must to try.
Food and service are very good
Great food slow service
DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE. This is the worst place you can eat at. Old food. Smells bad. I looked at the buffet and told the owner right away that it smelled as if the food went bad and I did not wish to eat there. The owner said I still had to pay for me and my 2 siblings even though we did not eat there. My sister tasted it and told me it tasted horrible. I told the owner that Im willing to pay for my sister since she tasted, but me and my brother did not eat so we should not pay. The owner became aggressive and said we had to pay full price for all three. I was so taken aback by her aggressive behaviour. I just paid and left very upset at how rude she was.
My favorite restaurant!
The only Pakistani restaurant and they are doing a good job. Food taste needs to improve. Their buffet is good and has a wide variety.
The worst place you can go to eat at. The lady there is extremely rude and has no idea about what service is!! Dont understand how come this place is still open !!!!
Really loved the casual environment and obviously the food. What a great place to just sit down and chat with your friends for hours on a weekend evening and enjoy all the delicious items. The chicken boti kabab was mouth watering. Don t expect the butter chicken or chicken tikka to taste or even look like that of an Indian restaurant, coz as it says on the website- Rahim make it like home cooked, authentic Pakistani, which is different. There was homemade mango ice cream as well. There were two guys playing board games, they were there when we arrived, and they were there when we left. Nobody s asking them to leave! What a great place to chill on Saturday/Sunday night!
The biryani is simply the best biryani I ve ever had. The food is delicious and very very unexpectedly great tasting. Buffet is around 18 dollars and totally worth it. The lady also offered home made mango ice creams after lunch. The service is slow and they should definitely hire some people rather than running if by their own family. Rahim is a very good chef though. 5/5 on food. 2/5 on pace of restaurant.
If you wanna try something spicy, this is the place for you
Excellent food for an excellent price
Delicious food
Delicious food, great service and the homemade mango ice cream is a must try!
Sooooooooooooooooooooo Gooooooooooooooood
Good spicy food
Awesome food. Great taste. Very traditional and prices are not too high. Must visit.
Better and Nice products people are always good to serve and better and New design glasses
1. Ordered Achari Mutton Hot. It was hot but tasted like mutton curry. 2. One Naan came along the curry. It was a frozen naan but burnt. Ask for two more and told the lady please make sure it s not burnt. Answer was I will try 3. Chicken biryani was tasteless and useless. Chicken used was some boneless remains. 4. Kabab were frozen and not from seekh but were cooked well. 5. Mushroom soap was great. 6. Rahim the cook and owner was nice to talk too. 7. No customer services. After our five star experience at Ali Baba, this place was not a thrill.
Best biryani in town*
Delicious food and reasonable price
Great food great price....authentic atmosphere
Love the food. Long time favorite for Halal food Buffet.
Wonderful food!
Good food for the price, the portions are pretty generous and filling. The taste is pretty authentic too. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. The only downside is that they dont offer à la carte Saturday thru Monday but instead offer a buffet for $16. Still worth the money.
Was on Visit to Kingston from Montreal and had a chance to eat mutton biryani there ... been a long time to eat such a tasty biryani .. Note : Dont Judge the owner from his looks :P , he is awesome funny guy with Gorgeous and humble life partner ) will love to visit again and try Achar ghosht there <3
Very little variety in the buffet and very spicy food, especially for children. In short, there is potential but it is neglected. I dont recommend it.
Amazing chef and probably only Pakistani food in kingston
Best indian taste food in this area.
My favorite South Asian restaurant in Kingston. Dont be fooled by its underwhelming front door and lack of publicity. The biryani is very good.
One of the best Pakistani restaurant in canada the flavors I experienced here were rarely found in canada Best wishes to the restaurant now i know where to bring my spice loving friends but wish it was in GTA
Great place for Halal food. We almost always go for the all-you-can eat buffet. And they usually replenish the dishes when we order buffet, even if we arrive late towards closing time. Love the food.
Pathetic food. I thought I should support Pakistani restaurant but wasted time and money. I wish if they don t know cooking they should use Shan masala. Too bad
If you have visited good indian restaurants then dont visit this restaurant. They serve the naan that we get from grocery store. The buffet is over priced for the dishes they provide.
Not so good behaviouR !
Went a couple of months ago. Service wasn t good lady was rude. The meat was old wouldn t want to go back. The place isn t clean washroom was smelly. Too many pictures and stachos... is it really halal food they serve??
I thought I would try out the buffet despite the reviews. I am always one to look at the positive side of things. However, I was very dissapointed with the food. Yes, as I read, it tasted old, the curry was watered down and the flavours were not great. The place seemed clean, very quiet (no other customers there), service was decent. I would not go back. I feel like giving two stars is being generous. Unfortunate :(.
GREAT
Buffet is good. Pretty good variety of curries. Grilled chicken and desserts are the best! Recommend the buffet Saturday-Monday.
Had the Sunday evening buffet. The restuarant was fairly quiet with only about half a dozen other guests. The food was coming out hot and fresh as we sat down. I am far from an expert when it comes to Pakistani Cuisine, but everything seemed good to me. Pleasantly spicy as to be expected. The grilled chicken was probably my favorite dish. The rice was also fresh and floral. The service was a bit slow but there was only one server and she was always on the move and she was very friendly. The Naan bread was also fantastic, I could have ate it just on its own all night! The price is where its at for sure though. 2 all you can eat buffets after tax and tip still under 40 bucks!
Great food & service
Great food, great service, my favorite Pakistani/Indian restaurant in kingston.
Fantastic food at great prices. The butter chicken is phenomenal
This is the worst restaurant in Canada. Smelly foods, worst customer service. Ill behaved staff. I would never ever look at this restaurant rather stay hungry.
The amount of food is not enough, the reception lady was rude to customer
Not a safe place for tourists. Worst service and food we have ever had. Receptionist lady was dishonest and no sense of talking to customer.
Great Pakistani food, we took my grandmother here and we all really liked it. Its a little dark inside and the decor needs an update but dont let that stop you from enjoying great food at a good price. Their spicy is very spicy, even the medium packs a huge punch.
My first time. We went for Saturday night all you can eat. The taste of the dishes were incredible. Such flavorful selections. Dessert was a rich tasty chocolate cake and the Bollywood movies tied the atmosphere together perfectly while being thoroughly entertaining (subtitles included!). Will definitely be returning.
We were looking for an indian place on a sunday. This one was open so we went in...the naan was so tiny..and crazy expensive...it tasted stale and like store bought naan. We asked about it..the lady says..the chef had made it earlier...yes what a lie! We had ordered pomfret fush curry which is listed as 11.99 on menu...at checkout..lady chargesme 12.99 before taxes.when i query she says..oh i must hve got one of the oldermenu cards..which by the way she herself handed to us. She pulls out a takeaway menu pamphlet shows me price as12.99. So i have to pay 12.99..for their mistake. Great!. DONT WASTE your time and money withthis place. Who lie and also hve tricks to overcharge you....i doubt if the chef is really india/pak...or just masquerading one..because the spice mix proportions are totally off! And Bonus!!!the lights of the side tables are not working...maybe its easier to feed people bad food in less light conditions.
Worse service ever
Always top notch! Rahim cooks amazing food and outs his heart into this place! Always will recommend!
just wastage of time and money not worth to spend a single penny here
Delicious yummy family buffet. Good vegetarian options. Old decor, casual. Very friendly.
Delicious!!
Great tasting. Quick and friendly service. Get to choose spicy level.
Awesome food..had buffet today.. enjoyed the food..especially the goat curry and butter chicken... the perfect taste..i would suggest you to eat here.. yummmmyyy
5 star level
Rahims is a hidden gem of Kingston and easily the best Pakistani-Indian place Ive been in the city. The food is rather no nonsense, its not trying to be fancy in any way but woah boy is it good. Good range of spice levels from mild up to as Rahim likes it which is a challenge... Unless you are also Pakistani... Then its just what you are used to. The owners are also super accommodating of their regular customers. You can tell they really do care about ensuring that their guests have the best possible experience. Lastly, there is almost always Bollywood movies on the tv. It really does add a lot to the atmosphere and the wacky world of Bollywood is sure to keep my friends and I entertained.
Food was so delicious that it reminded me of Pakistan and the people working at the restaurant were also very nice and cheerful.
Excellent food at a great price, owned and operated by wonderful people. Whats not to love?
Excellent food and ambience. Quick service, fresh cooked food. Grilled chicken was best.
Stay away from eating at this place even if you dont have any option. Food was terrible, they dont even know how to make a biriyani. It was very disgusting. The reception lady was very rude and no sense of any customer service.
The food was fine except the waiter LIED to us. Honestly like why? There is two spicy levels Canadian and Pakistani(spicier). My boyfriend said he likes REALLY spicy food and emphasized that to the waiter and ordered Pakistani spicy. The chef decided that he couldnt handle it so he changed it to Canadian. I mean it would be fine if the waiter told us that the chef changed it. Like we dont mind the food was good at that spicy level. BUT when she was making conversation with us AFTER we finished eating we said the food was not as spicy as we thought she said oh btw we changed it to Canadian spicy (not what we ordered) because the chef thinks you would want the less spicy one. Feeling deceived. Wouldnt come here again theres no longer trust.
An unassuming restaurant with excellent food! Definitely try their butter chicken! Loved it.
poor customer service. bad taste food. fell sick for a week after eating here
Great food and lovely personal service... Have been going there for years. You must try the Bhoti chicken!
The lady working there, EXTREMELY RUDE!! Food sucked big time. We ordered 3 curries made with chicken (i dont remember the names of all) one of which was achar chicken.. It tasted like crap.. For naans they used frozen naans that they warmed up over flame, this was my worst dining experience EVER!!!!
I went to Rahims cuisine while I was in a family vacation. As we were looking for food, we knocked to Rahim Cuisine at 2 PM even though the Restaurant hours are 5PM-1AM. He was nice enough to open the door for us, asked us to give him 20 mins so he can cook the buffet for us. Sure enough, he cooked 10 items for us, the buffet was full. We enjoyed the food a lot. then we went again the next day and we had the same kind of lunch. He is very very passionate about his food. He cooks in his very own special way and serves it the same way. I will go back again and again if I go to Canada again next month or so. I Salute you Rahim Vhai. Thank you
Their buffet was awesome!
