Honestly, usually has pretty good service, but the amount of time I've been yelled at for asking if the food I ordered twenty minutes ago is ready kinda ruins the vibe. Also, they add WAY too much mustard on their burgers.
After waiting for an extra TEN MINUTES FOR MY ORDER AND MISSING MY BUS HOME, I went up to the counter to grab my mobile order because I could see that it was my order and the woman behind the counter YELLED at me that I had to go to the mobile order counter. I informed her that no one called out mobile and she ARGUED with me about this fact. I then walked to the other counter waiting for my order and they STILL did not yell out mobile to alert the other counter. I asked for my order and left after being embarrassed in front of all of my peers. Most experiences I have at this establishment are very good but this has ruined the establishment for me. Doesn’t matter to anyone but me but had to rant.
Elisha and Lindsey are the strongest most genuine workers I have ever seen , I always look forward to seeing them and hope they never leave! My food is always incredible and fresh but overall I look forward to seeing them as my workers.
Extremely unfriendly female supervisor. I brought two plastic food containers there to swap for two carabiners. She took one container away from me and said “we only allow people have one”. She refused to give me a carabiner for the one container she took away and refused to swap the other one .HOWEVER, people can buy a reusable food container/ carabiner for 5 dollars. Robbery! I should have called the police.
Very dirty, not that competitively priced, and lines are ridiculous. If you’re just going to use TAMs, then it’s fine. If you wanna spend your own money, I don’t recommend.
Waited in line for 40 minutes for a sandwich just to have them put chicken on the vegetarian sandwich i ordered. im happy i checked and suspected there was chicken on it before eating it as i am a vegetarian. the guys who made it had absolutely no idea what he was doing, he also didn’t wear gloves or a hairnet like the other staff. he didn’t even apologize for making it wrong and proceeded to walk away. another woman came to make it and used the wrong kind of cheese. again mistakes happen but two in row along with not really caring at all. they have a complete disregard for customer service and the seating area is absolutely disgusting, none of the tables are clean and the couches look like good has been rubbed into it. all in all terrible service, rude staff and disgusting building.
For a better stay bring your own pillows and your shampoo/shower gel/soap bar. Overall good exeperience, because of the prime location (close to the water, parks and some touristic attractions), great value compared to other options in the city, complete kitchen and dinning rooms on each floor, 2 TVs (1 in each of joint rooms). Free coffee in the main lobby ( in the morning till 11 a.m.), free street parking on the week-ends. Finding some parking spot on the street was really chalenging and the one we found was far from the residence. Check-in was fast and easy. Unfortunately, it was not any good night of sleep, because the matress and pillows are covered by some kind of not breezing protectors making a lot of noise each time you move (especially the pillow protectors made from something that looks like a plastic, see the pictures), so I advice you to bring your own pillows. By the way, I saw many people bringing their pillows with them. Beds are placed close to the wall by one side, so if there are 2 people sleeping in the same bed it is not comfortable. It was necessary to leave the washroom doors always open to be able to communicate between the rooms, because the rooms are connected ONLY through the washroom :(
It's a dorm room converted into a hotel during summer months. Proceeds help the school out. I rented two rooms thus I did not need to worry about sharing a bathroom.
Great staff. Bring back the waffle fries.
Nice place to have food in the queens campus!!! Its bright and all the emoyees there are very friendly!!!
The tables are tasty!
Forgot about my burger on 2 separate occasions... 30 mins for fast food no thanks.
Terrible staff
We had a typical double room (342 & 344) in the student dormitory, which will be converted into a hotel in the summer semester. We also knew the room layout from Germany and so we immediately felt at home. The price is unbeatable compared to other accommodation in Kingston. The room is well equipped. There are two pillows, a bed about 1.40m wide, lots of storage space in the cupboards and a larger television. For the bathroom there were towels, soap and toothbrush cups. Only shower gel, body lotion and hair wash are not offered. The location at Queens University is quiet and parking is plentiful. It takes about 30 minutes to walk into the city and the harbor. After the first night, a few disadvantages became apparent. The bed is not intended for two people: you always roll into the middle. The pillow and mattress are also not very comfortable as they are completely covered in plastic. You dont sleep so well. In addition, the rooms are extremely noisy. In addition, the air conditioning and the refrigerator were very annoying at night.
location, rooms , value for money great. Beds have plastic sheet underlay and the pillows are terrible (like sleeping on a plastic bag)
The summer residences in the student rooms during the summer are excellent value for money
As a first year resident here, its pretty good.
