The deli rose sandwich was delicious as well I had a cup of chili. Maybe the best cup of chili Ive had. Do try the mango matté as it was also very refreshing.

Had breakfast sandwich was good but I believe eggs were microwaved

The most unique restaurant I ve been to. Food is all or mostly home grown. Rueben sandwich was the best I ve had!!! You have to try this place.

For sure a hidden gem in Kingston! I ve never dined here before due to all the talk of them being a cult, however, if that s what ensures they have the best and most loving tasting food? More to them! The food was served with a friendly smile and the staff were all so friendly and eager to chat! We had the veggie burger and the yellow deli sub( both vegetarian friendly!) As well as the soup of the day! The veggie burger is hands down the BEST burger I ve ever had (coming from a regular meat consumer), the sub was delicious as well! All full of fresh ingredients and put together to perfection! The soup of the day was curried yam soup, and honestly I could indulge in that daily if given the chance! It was so rich and felt like a warm hug in every sip. Honesty if you want delicious food with an old timey feeling atmosphere, this is the place!! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and very clean, the whole vibe feels like stepping into the cutest anime tavern without the alcohol! Will be returning in the near future for more delicious food!! Vegetarian options: Small menu but most items are vegetarian friendly, veggie burger is out of this world! The Yellow Deli is one of the best places to eat in Kingston. Staff are consistently friendly, engaging & attentive, without exception. Food is excellent; chili & Spinwich are among the best menu items. Whatever their spiritual path is, forget about. No attempt to preach or convert. They are good people.

This place is such a gem. It has the cutest vibe and the food and drinks are incredible. Everything tasted extremely fresh and you can tell that they use quality ingredients. I also could not believe how fairly priced it was. I cant wait to share this place with my friends and family.

Stumbled upon this gem on a trip to Kingston. It s incredibly beautiful inside. The service is unmatched. The servers are all calm and kind. Extremely accommodating. The Reuben was hands down the best I ve ever had. I didn t realized it was run by a religious cult until afterwards, but will still 100% return in the future. Loved it!

Great time here, got a mango smoothie and mmm...it was so good. I also had a custom sandwich which came with house-made chips and a pickle. I ate a lot! Sure do recommend this place, one of a kind. Soup is delicious! Warm atmosphere and very kind staff.

Its okay if you have nowhere to be. 45min for 4 people to order a soup or sandwich. Drink order wasnt taken right away and took 20min to get after that. Atmosphere and staff were great. I didnt think it was unreasonable to expect a soup to be served in 15min.

Probably the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life. So soft and tender and rich while still feeling really light.... I tried the lamb sandwich and the Spinwich and you really cant go wrong with either. I also had the carrot cake and honey bun which were pretty great (especially the cake). Vibes are also stellar. Just knocking it down a star bc of... [certain reasons]...

Called a holiday Monday asking if they were pet friendly. The put a table outside for us for our puppy. The staff was a joyful delight. Every bit of the food, garnish & drink was delicious. Best breakfast I have ever eaten out. Go there!

This deli was fantastic. It was super quaint, the staff was friendly and the food was fresh and homemade. My mom has many food sensitivities and was able to order food safely. If and when we are back to Kingston, I will definately be returning to the Yellow Deli.

Exposed for their incredibly charming staff, inexpensive but amazing eats, and don t even get me started on how authentically real the decor feels. I am from Toronto, where great food is my daily ritual. So I hope my review holds some weight. With such amazing energy you guys give off, certainly resonates with your customers, which is why everyone comes back. I ll be recommending this place to everyone I know coming to Kingston. I stopped in at the yellow deli and was blown away by the quality and the exceptional service. The bread is heavenly fresh and the soaps are truly magical. So glad to have found this little gem in the heart of Kingston. I highly recommend that you stop in for a fresh tea if you are in the area!

Very good experience. We went at the restaurant for Thanksgiving and had the chance to eat a spécial menu for the occasion. The food was delicious and its hand made. It costs us 60$ for 2 people for a menu with entrance,main course, dessert and a cofee. Plus there was a live music band! I highly recommend this place (very nice decoration and nice staff).

The yellow deli is amazing! My family and I were having a rough time and decided to stop here for some lunch. The food was great and the atmosphere and staff is warm and inviting. Very unique decor. This place turned out day around! They even went out of their way to get me a freshly made ginger cookie from the bakery next door when they ran out! Unbelievable above and beyond service.

Been meaning to walk into the yellow deli for a while as I pass it on my commute every day. Glad I did. I love a good Reuben sandwich and the decor is cozy and nice. My toddler loved the big wood yellow tables. Dietary restrictions: They had homemade gluten-free bread that was a big hit on our custom made sandwich. Kid-friendliness: Lovely dining room that kept my toddler at the table.

An absolutly delightful experience

I had a fantastic lamb burger, lots of flavour and sauce. The date squares were a great treat. The cranberry cashew salad was a hit with my wife, she raved about it. I will be back.

Hands down the heartiest meal in the city of Kingston! The aroma of freshly cooked food, light soothing music and wooden decor transport you to another world as soon as you step in. The staff is very accommodating, tons of vegan and vegetarian options. I wish they gave chips and pickes with the spinwich. They have a bakery on the side which is worth a visit. I will come back with more friends here!

Every one should go. Best apple cider ever! The meals servings are big. We all had to bring some home. I had the lamb on a bun. Couldnt have been better. When I entered the restaurant, I felt like I was in a medieval magic town. The decoration was so cool and the hand painted menu was really cute! Food was tasty and the staffs were super friendly! The lamb deli was definitely the best! The aroma of the lamb immediately boomed in my mouth at the first bite.

I am from toronto and was visiting my friends in Kingston I am so happy my friend took me to this deli it honestly has the best sandwiches Ive ever had, everything is fresh and delicious I went back 2 days in a row to try new sandwiches each time, Im blown away I also got the hot chai and that has become my favourite drink! I seriously wish there was a location near toronto because I have a feeling I wont find anything close to as good The atmosphere is so cozy and cute, and the staff is very helpful and friendly

Today I met a friend from out of town at the Yellow Deli for lunch. First time for both of us. Wow we were impressed. I had the cranberry cashew salad, carrot ginger soup, spelt raisin break, date square and the yerba mango mate. Everything was delicious, healthy, fresh. Im gluten intolerant so was thrilled I had so many choices. The staff were super friendly, professional and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. After lunch we visited their market next door and fell in love with gift cards, shampoo, lotions, tea etc. There is space to meet clients over tea. Two thumbs up for the Yellow Deli.
