First they took away the salads, then they started measuring how much pasta you get with the Bar Harbour Bake. All while the prices kept going up. If one person cant leave full for $70 the restaurant is not worth visiting anymore. Parking: Large parking lot

I was TODAY YEARS OLD (43) the first time I visited a Red Lobster. And I m glad it was this one. Wife and I had driven over an hour for our 5 year old to be anesthetized for some dental surgery. They knocked out little baby girl before our eyes, and then we left, despondent and catatonic. We ll call you when we re done! I didn t know how I was going to survive the hour long wait. Then my wife suggested we find a restaurant to sit down in so we could try and relax. Red Lobster was the closest to the clinic. And boy, are we glad it was. Tali was the name of our server. And she was the calming, soothing salve our weary souls needed. She made it so easy for my wife to order the Crab Legs, which she loved. (some fancy type that they don t get very often. It was seasonal, and the season is short. I dunno. I don t eat crab) And I had a bacon cheeseburger that wasn t exceptional, but wasn t at all in any way bad. It was actually quite nice. Perfectly cooked, with crispy bacon, and real cheese. I like a wetter burger with pickles and tons of condiments, and it was served with neither. But the side of mayo I then requested came quickly, and with a smile! I honestly had always thought of Red Lobster as just this like, part of American popular culture that I would never ACTUALLY experience. But in our moment of need, that sign with the big red underwater bug on it was a beacon of hope in our moment of vulnerability. The service was absolutely incredible. Tali was our main server, but I think 3-4 other people helped us? And not in an overbearing way at all. Folks just happened to walk by when we wanted butter, mayo, another drink, and very suddenly and quickly when I got a call from the clinic: OUR BILL. The bill was very reasonable for how good, fast and friendly the food came to the table! And Tali didn t let us leave without another bag of cheddar biscuits. OH, YOU THOUGHT I WAS GONNA GET TO THE END OF THIS WITHOUT MENTIONING THOSE BISCUITS?! Take some for your baby girl. They re soft and won t hurt her teeth! YOU BET WE WILL, Tali. Those gosh darned biscuits brought us back from the brink of famine and exhaustion. (I m over-sharing here, but I was fasting in solidarity with my 5 year old, who hadn t eaten in nearly 16 hours by the time the surgery actually began ) having those flaky, melty, beautiful biscuits come to the table so quickly after we arrived turned me into an instantaneous lifelong Red Lobster devotee. I understand now why Beyoncé spoke to highly of them. Bey goes to a chain restaurant? Really? -bites into biscuit OOOoooooooooooh yes. YES. OK, I get it now! Time to get in formation. I Stan Red Lobster!

I have been to Red Lobster a few times their food is delicious the staff are very friendly helpful and are accommodating. I have a disability so therefore I am not able to take the lobster out of the shell. So I ask them if they can do it for me and they are more than happy to help. Thank you very much to the all of the staff including the servers kitchen staff bar staff and the staff at the door for all of your help. The best seafood in Kingston.

Had a great supper at Red Lobster! Out server was very personable but should ve checked on us a wee bit more - we probably would ve ordered another drink.

Had the 2 lobster tail and shrimp linguine special. The tails were great. The linguine had no sauce. And the shrimp still had the tails on. How do you eat that? So I paid over $50 for 2 lobster tails, but the rest that I took home, I had to add sauce. Otherwise it was dry noodles with shrimp with the tails still on that I had to remove

Overall, the fish and chips were good. The problem was that I ordered Clam Chowder as a starter, and the soup was served lukewarm, bordering on cold. I sent the soup back, and it came back a few degrees warmer, but not near what I would call hot. At that point, I gave up on getting hot soup. I was not going to send back the soup a second time, so I tried to finish my $10 bowl of cold soup. Later, my partner had coffee, and guess what? The coffee was lukewarm too. The next day, I called the restaurant General Manager (his name and number were listed on the bill), and though he was somewhat apologetic, he added that I shouldve asked to speak with a Manager at the time of the meal. Essentially, it was a me problem because I didnt make a Federal case out of it. I just erroneously expected hot soup and coffee, thats all. Anyway, 2 orders of fish and chips, a soft drink, cold soup, and cold coffee, with tip came to $70. Hardly a bargain considering I generally prefer hot food, and coffee. (Update: Its strange when the reviews are positive, the Owner puts in his two cents thanking the customer, but when the reviews are less than favorable, the customer is just ignored. No wonder the restaurant brand is in such financial peril.)

Our waitress Sandie was not at all welcoming. Had a bit of an attitude and did not introduce herself when she arrived at our table as we are use to at other restaurants as well as other Red Lobster locations. She did not take the time to highlight any of the special promo menu items, as lobster fest was taking place as well there were special cocktails added to the drink menu. She was very rude when one of our guests ordered the endless shrimp and wasn t sure how it worked she did not state the sides nor their shrimp options to start. Another person in our party had to assist in helping to place the order. Sandie made our family dinner an uncomfortable and disappointing experience. Outside of her the food was great and ambience and esthetic of the restaurant was wonderful.

My girlfriend and I were passing through Kingston and her face lit up when she saw the Red Lobster. We called, not really expecting anybody to pick up as it was 8:45 and the restaurant closed at 9. Luckily, the phone was picked up and the person on the other end happily told us we could still order. We fumbled through our order, not having time to look through the menu and were met with patience and assistance from the employee. As soon as we hung up, we drove towards the restaurant wanting to ensure we didnt keep them any longer than need be. We were about a kilometer away when cruisers and ambulances blocked off Bath road. We called the restaurant back and they were so tolerant and kind. Not only did they offer to wait longer; they tried to direct me. I ended up even further away and we called back and cancelled the order. We felt terrible for holding them up and not showing but they reassured us it was ok and rejected my offer to atleast pay for the order. The members of staff that we spoke to were genuine rather than following the usual customer service scripts which was a very pleasant experience. We never got the chance to try the food but in my experience when a place exceeds expectations in one area, they do so in all. We will absolutely be visiting again soon.

Our server Marni was courteous and attentive. The food was great. The seats and other fixtures look very used and a bit neglected but that doesnt really matter to me.

Ate at Red Lobster Kingston on Christmas Eve an hour before they closed and was greeted by friendly staff welcoming us in. Meredith, our service was excellent. She provided us with one of the best services I received at a restaurant in a while. Was she charming, hard working and was great at her job. Thank you Meredith!

We had the dinner for 2 today at Red Lobster, Kingston and were very surprised that you got 2 lobster tails but only 5 each of Walt s favorite, 5 scallops and 5 garlic shrimp for $60. This used to be $46 and you got 6 not 5. Not right!! Our server Michelle was excellent and food delicious but not happy with the amount of food for the price. Dorothy

The mussels were substandard, the chef did not check the quality before cooking, and they threw out more than a 1/2 dozen that were dead before they cooked. Jan 01 24 alot better meal this time.

Excellent food but pricy. There could be a meal for 2 person, since I live alone. However the washroom smells bad when the restaurant first open, but its clean. Otherwise overall I would give it a 4 star. 5 star if its not for the bad smell of public washroom.

Went for my six month anniversary with my bf. It was a lovely dinner experience. Absolutely enjoyed the lobster. My favourite was the shrimp lobster linguini.

I always liked it here it was where I would go for good seafood/ fish. NEVER AGAIN!!! The food was EXTREMELY overpriced, and actually got sick there after eating eating a few bites. 3 different things had to be sent back for not being good. It looked old, dinghy, and after being seated into small a booth, noticed how unkept it was. Giving it 1 was hard. Had 10 times the meal at another nice restaurant downtown that was 10 times better a meal, the service, and the atmosphere on top of that it was 1/2 the price!! Dietary restrictions: Have a horrible menu if you have any dietary restrictions, no indications anywhere for heart smart, wheat, nuts. Something that it on almost all menus these days.

David took very good care of our family, we were there with our kids, they give us some paper activities and crayons for our kids to have fun while they wait for the food, they also have a kids menu, many seafood options: escargot, shrimp and lobster are very delicious! From the moment you step foot inside this place, you can feel that everyone is so friendly and welcoming!

We came with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. She got salmon while my husband and I got the dinner for two, lobster shrimp and scallops with two sides. Food and service all perfect!

We came here in memeorie of my grandparents after my Grandmas internment. Food was good and I was pleasantly surprised to find they have changed the Ultimate Feast to a chose your own adventure style. Soooo much more enjoyable being able to choose what I want. It more expensive but this is a once a year kinda treat. Service was good and my baby enjoyed looking at the surroundings.

Shows up super cold. Had maybe 13 fries lol and forgot slaw. It was sad looking. Fish was cold and soggy. Learned my lesson.

This was my first time ever going to a Red Lobster and oh wow it lived up to the hype. Im not a seafood fan and now youre probably wondering, why go if you dont like seafood..... Well the spouse loves it. He did the endless shrimp and ended up loving the Walts favorite. I had the steak with two sides. For a place known for Lobster they make a fantastic and buttery steak. If you go and try a non-seafood dish, grab the Mac and cheese. Its so rich and creamy.

Tali was a great server. Everything was great as usual except my filet mignon. I had tried it as part of surf and turf in past and was not impressed. Same thing this time, it is not good quality and was tough and stringy. I am sticking to lobster in the future.

Ive been ordering takeout since 2018, and the quality of the food has gone downhill severely since then. I used to order the crab linguine alfredo and the portions were generous. The last time i ordered, the portion was smaller but the prices for it were far too much than what i anticipated. Deciding to give it another chance, i splurged tonight and purchased the shrimp and lobster alfredo since the crab was discontinued. I ordered extra alfredo sauce like i always do and was extremely disappointed when i received a small amount of sauce alongside a small amount of pasta with my main. The mussels were by far the most disappointing- some not even opened upon cooking were sent to me, and every piece i consumed was crunchy because there were pieces of cracked shells. I will definitely not be ordering again which is disappointing.

I used to love going to red lobster with the family so we went recently for am event. I ordered the Mussels and a lobster tail, the tail was good, a little small for $25 but thats expected. What I didnt expect was my mussels being chewy and kind of crispy, like they were burnt. I thought mussels were boiled so I dont know how they couldve had that texture unless it was microwaved. Red lobster made me like mussels in the first place and Im genuinely disappointed that even red lobster cant keep up their quality, likely corporate budget cuts. The biscuits were as good as ever though so theres that.

It s always a treat for us to go to red lobster we don t go often but we have went many times and always usually are very happy! Unfortunately last night wasn t the same experience as we ve had before. We couldn t believe the price raises but looked past that as we know the world we live in now everything is rising. We ordered our usual fav appetizer the lobster stuffed mushrooms, there has always been little traces of rice but this time they were FULL of rice between the two orders we have maybe a teaspoon of lobster the kids ordered Mac and cheese and it was Kraft dinner from a box. My husband had shrimp Alfredo that the sauce was so watery. The drinks were okay and the service was ok also certainly wasn t worth the $140 bill

Right from entry to this restaurant, they greet you with a smile. Service was excellent, they knew the menu and could answer any questions we had. The biscuits were fresh and hot right out of the oven. Our entres were delicious, the steak cooked to perfection and the lobster, salmon and shrimp were scrumptious! There was plenty of food (had to get a take out box so we could leave room to split a dessert)! We were not disappointed and will be returning to Kingston and this restaurant!

We made the reservation a few days in advance for our anniversary and when we showed up, despite being seated at our table, we didnt get any service for 30 minutes. Nobody came to our table to greet us and take our orders, although other people who came after us were getting served and brought their food. They didnt even bring us water. Its a shame because last time we had a decent experience here.
